      • 고도보정 공간내삽에 의한 전국의 1km²단위 기상실황 추정

        Conventional method of generating meteorological surfaces over geographic areas often neglects the elevation effect which is considered to be a single most important control over local climate. Deviation of the estimates may exrled practical limits at some areas with complex toprlgraphy. A digital map featuring coordinates and elevation data of 72 weather stations in Korea were joined with hourly weather(trmperature, relative humidity, precipitation and wind speed) observations at the stations by using a geographic information system software. An inverse distanre weighted interpolation was done on the point features to generate prim-itive meteorological and elevation surface grids consisting of 430×600 cells, respectively. Elevation difference at each cell between the United States Geological Survey's 1 km digital elevation model and this virtual ele-vation surface was calculated. Known relationships between meteorological elements and the elevation differ-ence were used to derive "correction grids" representing the potential effects of elevation difference at each grid cell. The correction grids were added or multiplied to the primitive meteorological surfaces to obtain ele-vation-corrected estimates for corresponding elements. This srheme was applied to hourly data of 27 March 1998 to generate the elevation-corrected mrteorological surfaces. Observed data of 350 automated weather sta-tions were used to partially validate the accuracy of the results. This simple scheme sHelved a feasibility of a near-real time generation of hourly meteorological surfaces for temperature and rainfall with an affordable error range.

        ATD automatic bridge remover를 이용한 새로운 포스트 제거 방법

        포스트가 축조된 치아를 재근관 치료하는 경우 성공적인 비외과적 재근관치료를 시행하기 위해서는 포스트 제거가 선행되어야 한다. 기존의 포스트를 제거하는 방법으로는 초음파기구, Ruddle post removal system, Eaggler post remover, Masserann kit을 이용하는 방법 등 여러 가지가 소개 되고 있으나 기존의 방법들은 각 기구에 맞게 코어를 삭제해야 하는 시간과 많은 노력이 요구되며 포스트 제거시 치아나 포스트의 파절이 유발되기도 한다 그러나 최근에는 기존의 방법과는 다른 ATD automatic bridge remover를 이용해 포스트를 제거하는 새로운 방법이 소개되고 있으며 코어에 구멍을 형성하는 시간만 소요되어 비교적 빨리 제거 할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 증례에서는 ATD automatic bridge remover를 이용해 주조포스트를 제거하고 성공적으로 재근관치료를 시행한 증례에 대해서 보고하고자 한다. It is common for clinicians to encounter endodontically tl·treated teeth that contain posts within their roots. If endodontic treatment is failed, these posts must be removed to facilitate successful nonsurgical retreatment. There have been many techniques such as ultrasonic instrument, Ruddle post removal system, Eggler post remover and Masserann kit developed to facilitate removal of posts from the root canal space. But these methods may be disadvantageous because long length of time required for post removal and fracture of post or teeth. In now days new post removal technique using ATD automatic bridge remover was introduced. Advantages of this method are simple and short time consuming compare to others. This article served as a successful case report of post removal using ATD automatic bridge remover.

      • 다량의 하부위장관출혈이 병발된 Vibrio vulnificus 패혈증 1예

        최근 저자들은 Vibrio vulnificus 감염에 의해 패혈증 및 이차성 피부 병변을 보인 42세의 남자 환자의 치료중 하부 위장관 출혈이 병발된 1예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. We experienced a case of Vibrop vulnificus septicemia which showed an unusual manifestation such as hematochezia. The patient was a 42-year-old man with chronic liver disease. The blood and wound culture revealed the organism. During intensive care, he suffered from massive hematochezi for several days. Colonoscopy and abdominal CT showed findings suspicious of ischemic colitis. To our knowledge, this is the first unusual case of V.vulnificus infection which showed massive lower gastrointestinal bleeding.

      • 전방 도달법과 수장부 T자형 금속판 고정을 통한 원위 요골 골절의 치료

        목적 : 원위 요골 골절에 대해 전방 도달법을 이용한 관혈적 정복 및 수장부 T자형 금속판 내고정술의 방사선학적 및 임상적 결과를 분석하여 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 도수 정복이 되지 않았거나, 심한 분쇄 골절로 인해 도수 정복 상태가 유지되지 못했거나, 부적절한 관절면의 정복 등의 이유로 원위 전완부 전방 도달법을 이용한 관혈적 정복 및 수장부 T자형 금속판을 이용한 내고정술을 시행 후 최소 1년 이상 추시 관찰이 가능하였던 19예를 대상으로, 수술 전 후의 방사선학적인 평가와 최종 추시시의 기능적 평가를 Green과 O'Brein의 방법을 이용하여 평가하였다. 결과 : 수술 직후 모든 예에서 관절면의 해부학적 정복을 얻을 수 있었다. 방사선학적 결과에서 요골 관절면의 요골 길이는 수술 전 평균 8.8 ㎜ (±4.8 ㎜)에서 수술 후11 ㎜ (±3 ㎜)로, 요골 경사각은 평균 15˚ (±5.7˚)에서 20˚ (±5˚)로, 전방 경사는 평균 -11˚ (±13˚)에서 7˚ (±4˚)로, 척골 양성 변이는 평균 4 ㎜ (±3 ㎜)에서 0 ㎜ (±1 ㎜)로 향상되었으며, 기능적 결과에 있어서는 우수 9예, 양호 7예, 보통 2예, 불량 1예 이었다. 추시 중 초기 수상이 심하였던 1 예에서는 정복의 소실과 함께 장 무지 굴건의 파열이 초래하였다. 결론 : 원위 요골 골절의 수술적 치료에서 일부 제한된 범위에서만 적응증이 되었던 수장부 금속판 내고정술로 방사선학적 측면과 기능적인 측면에서도 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었으며, 초기 분쇄 골절이 심할 경우에는 정복의 소실을 예방하기 위하여 외고정기를 부수적으로 장착하는 것이 좋을 것으로 생각된다. Purpose : To analyze the radiologic and clinical results of open reduction and volar plating through anterior approach for distal radius fracture. Materials and Methods : We retrospectively analysed that 19 distal radius fracture, which would not be reduced by closed reduction or too comminuted to maintain reduction or articular surface incongruency, were treated by open reduction and volar plating through anterior approach. The results were evaluated by preoperative and immediate postoperative radiographics and clinical results were analysed using Green and O'Brien scoring system at final follow up. Results : All cases achieved anatomical articular surface reduction postoperatively. In terms of radiologic analysis, mean radial length (8.8 ㎜±4.8 ㎜ vs. 11 ㎜±3 ㎜), radial inclination (15˚±5.7˚ vs. 20˚±5˚), volar tilt (-11˚±13˚ vs. 7˚±4˚) and ulnar plus variant (4 ㎜±3 ㎜ vs. 0 ㎜±1 ㎜) were improved. The clinical evaluation revealed 9 excellent cases, 7 good cases, 2 fair cases and I poor case. The reduction loss and flexor pollicis longus rupture was occurred in one patient, who had severely displaced comminute fracture in initial injury. Conclusion : Using volar plating, authors gain good radiologic and clinical results. But, additional external fixation is recommended to prevent further collapse in severly comminuted fractures.

      • 크롬-망간鋼에서 析出된 複合炭化物의 粗大化 特性에 관한 硏究

        This study has been carried out to investigate into the Ostwald Ripening behaviors of comples carbide particles precipitated in Cr-Mn steel during spheroidizing treatment at a range of temperature 650℃ to 710℃ after standarding the initial particle size distribution. The results obtained from the experiment are as follows; 1. Optical micrographs have shown that the precipitated particles mostly grow along grain boundaries with their shapes being irregular and that particles within the ferrite matrix appear to be small spheres. 2. Average particle size measurements have presented that a reciprocal of the slopes of three straight lines obtained from the relation between the log of average particle radius and the log of spheroidiaing time for 650℃, 680℃ and 710℃ approaches a value of 3.5 and that the growth of complex carbide particles occurs by a diffusion controlled mechanism combined with volume diffusion and grain boundary diffusion. 3. In has been found from the measured values for the average particle radius and the number of particles per unit volume that the average value of activation energy is 48.3Kcal/mole, which shows that the coarsening of complex carbide particles is governed by the interdiffusion mechanism of Fe, C, Cr and Mn atoms. 4. X-ray diffraction analysis has shown that the complex carbide particles precipitated during spheroidizing treatment are of two types, (Fe, Cr, Mn)₃C and (Fe, Cr, Mn)? C₃. 5. Experimentally measured particle size distribution curves approach the steady state distribution curve obtained for volume diffusion but their width and height are relatively broader and lower.

      • 질소 기체의 다분자층 흡착을 이용한 BN, Alumina 및 Silica-Gel의 동공 크기 분포

        Multilayer adsorption isotherms of nitrogen on hexagonal boron nitride, γ-alumina, and silicagel powders are determined at the liquid nitrogen temperature using a gravimetric adsorption apparatus. The volume(V) of the adsorbed gas are plotted against the statistical thickness(t) of the adsorbed layer, and the t-method area are calculated from the slope of these V-t plots to compare with the BET area. The Frenkel-Halsey-Hill equation are used in calculating the statistical thickness. Pore-size distribution of the adsorbents are determined by using the improved method of pore-size distribution analysis proposed by Ahn et al. The cumulative surface area calculated from the results of these pore-size distribution analysis agrees very well with the BET area and the t-method area.

        열전대(thermocouple)를 이용한 Buchanan Plugger 표면의 온도상승 분석

        This study was performed to evaluate the actual temperature rise on the surface of Buchanan plugger using thermocouple. The heat carrier system 'System B Heatsource'(Model 1005, Analytic Technologies, Redmond, WA, USA) and the Buchanan pluggers of F, FM, M and ML sizes are used for this study. The temperature was set to 200℃ on digital display and the power level on it was set to 10. Five thermocouples were placed in direct contact with the surface of each size of Buchanan's pluggers at 1 mm increments from the tip to the 4 mm length of shank. The heat control spring was touched for 5 seconds, and temperature rise on the surface of the pluggers were measured at 1 sec intervals for more than 5 seconds with an accuracy of 0.01 using Data Logger. The data were statistically analyzed by one-way ANOVA. The results were as follows. 1. The position at which the temperature peaked was approximately at 1~2 mm far from the tip of Buchanan plugger (p<0.01). 2. The peak temperature was 215.25±2.28℃ in F plugger, 185.94±2.19℃ in FM plugger, 169.51±9.12℃ in M plugger, and 160.79±1.27℃ in ML plugger and the peak temperature was highest in F plugger and followed by, in descending order, FM plugger, M plugger. ML plugger showed the lowest peak temperature (p<0.01). 3. The temperature on the pluggers was decreased with the increase of touching time. This results suggest that the actual temperature on the surface of the pluggers dose not correlate well with the temperature set on digital display. Heat concentrates around the up. The larger plugger reveals lower temperature rise relatively.

        Three Cases of Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension (SIH) Treated with Epidural Blood Patch

        Spontaneous intracranial hypotension, a syndrome of low CSF pressure, occurs without preceding events such as lumbar puncture, back trauma, operative procedure or medical illness. The most char- acteristic symptom is an occipital or frontal headache which is aggrevated in the erect position and relieved in the supine position. This syndmme usually resolves spontaneously or with strict bed rest. When the headach persists or is incapacitating, more aggressive treatment may be necessary. Autologous epidural blood patch is highly effective in the management of spontaneous intracranial hypotension. Epidural blood produces an organized clot which effectively tamponade any dural CSF leak The rapid relief of headache immediately after the infusion of blood occur by some other mechanism, such as an increase in subarachnoid pressure that is known to occur with infusion of fluid into the lumbar epidural Space. We report three cases of spontaneous intracranial hypotension successfully treated with epidural blood patch.

        포화수증기압 개념에 대한 예비 과학 교사들의 이해

        본 연구는 예비과학교사들이 포화수증기압 개념을 설명하는 과정에서 나타나는 이해를 밝히고자 하였다. 과학교육을 전공하는 여섯 명의 예비과학교사들을 대상으로 포화수증기압에 대한 설명을 요구하는 반구조화된 면담이 이루어졌다. 전사된 면담 내용과 비디오자료, 그리고 설명 과정에서 그려진 스케치 자료를 분석하여 참여자의 이해를 구조화하였다. 연구 결과, 예비과학교사가 대기 중의 물 개념을 설명하는 과정에서 다양한 이해가 표출되었다. 포화수증기압에 대한 이해로 분자운동론적 설명, 대기의 영향을 고려한 분자운동론적 설명, 기화압력을 이용한 설명, 확산 개념을 이용한 설명, 수증기의 공간을 한정시키는 설명이 나타났다. 예비과학교사들은 포화수증기압 개념에 대해 다양한 대안 개념을 가지고 있으며, 물의 상태 변화에 대한 분자운동론적 이해와 포화수증기압 개념을 통한 이해가 서로 연결되지 못하고 있음을 보여주었다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the understandings that represent that, in this course, the preservice science teachers have explained the concept of saturation vapor pressure. To do so, semi-structured interviews that requested students to explain saturation vapor pressure to six preservice science teachers were carried out. The preservice science teachers' understanding of the material was constructed by analyzing transcribed protocols, video tapes, and sketches that were drawn during the explanation. As a result of the research, a variety of understandings was discovered when the preservice science teachers explained the concept of atmospheric water. Understandings about saturation vapor pressure include the idea of molecular motion; the molecular motion model is considered to influence atmospheric pressure, the evaporation pressure model, the diffusion model and the limited space model. Preservice science teachers had alternative conceptions of saturation vapor pressure. The understanding of saturation vapor pressure and the understanding of the molecular motion model describing the change of water state are not connected.
