        Metagenomic Analysis of Fungal Communities Inhabiting the Fairy Ring Zone of Tricholoma matsutake

        Tricholoma matsutake, an ectomycorrhiza that has mutual relationships with the rootlet of Pinus denisflora, forms a fruiting body that serves as a valuable food in Asia. However, the artificial culture of this fungus has not been successful. Soil fungi, including T. matsutake, coexist with many other microorganisms and plants; therefore, complex microbial communities have an influence on the fruiting body formation of T. matsutake. Here, we report on the structures of fungal communities associated with the fairy ring of T. matsutake through the pyrosequencing method. Soil samples were collected inside the fairy ring zone, in the fairy ring zone, and outside the fairy ring zone. A total of 37,125 sequencing reads were obtained and 728 to 1,962 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were observed in the sampling zones. The fairy ring zone had the lowest OTUs and the lowest fungal diversity of all sampling zones. The number of OTUs and fungal taxa inside and outside the fairy ring zone was, respectively, about 2 times and 1.5 times higher than the fairy ring. Taxonomic analysis showed that each sampling zone has different fungal communities. In particular, out of 209 genera total, 6 genera in the fairy ring zone, such as Hemimycena, were uniquely present and 31 genera, such as Mycena, Boletopsis, and Repetophragma, were specifically absent. The results of metagenomic analysis based on the pyrosequencing indicate a decrease of fungal communities in the fairy ring zone and changes of fungal communities depending on the fairy ring growth of T. matsutake.

        북한의 시 교육 연구 - 초급중학교와 고급중학교 교과서의 작품과 학습 활동을 중심으로 -

        2013 개정 교육강령 이후 북한의 교육에 여러 가지 변화가 나타나는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 이 글에서는 이러한 북한의 변화가 초급중학교와 고급중학교의 시 교육, 그리고 교과서에 어떻게 나타나고 있는지 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 북한에서는 문학교육에 정치 사상적 교양을 위한 도구적 성격을 여전히 강하게 부여하고 있다. 그러나 이전 시대 교과서에서는 모든 시 작품을 이념과 사상, 그리고 권력 찬양의 내용으로 채웠던 데 반해 2013 개정 교육강령 이후 교과서에서는 정치 사상적 색채가 드러나지 않는 작품이 여러 편 수록되어 있어 상대적으로 그 강도는 조금 약화된 변화가 확인된다. 또한 작품의 내용은 김씨 일가와 당, 수령을 찬양하는 작품이라 하더라도 학습 활동에서는 정치 사상적 교양이나 권력 찬양 내용의 활동으로만 일관하지 않는 변화도 나타나고 있다. 종합해서 볼 때 여전히 북한의 문학교육, 시 교육은 ‘조국’을 위해 충성을 강요하는 작품이나 활동이 대부분을 차지하고 있지만 조금씩 그 경직성이 완화되는 추세가 감지되고 있다. 내용 면에서는 북한의 중요한 문예 이론인 주체문예 이론에 근거하여 여러 개념과 지식을 배우고 있지만, 그 가운데에서도 학습자 활동에 능동성과 주체성, 그리고 단계적 심화 발전을 구현하기 위한 노력이 보인다. 이러한 변화를 토대로 남과 북의 이질성을 극복하기 위한 방안이라 든가, 통일 시대 중등 시 교육의 방향 설정 같은 주제의 연구가 계속될 필요가 있다. This paper analyzed the changes in North Korean poetry education in the middle and high school textbooks, ‘Korean’ and ‘Korean and literature’. As a result of the analysis, the role of literature education in North Korea is still strong as a tool for political and ideological education. Nevertheless, what can be evaluated positively in the textbooks is that there are several works that do not reveal the political ideology, which were not found in textbooks before the Kim Jong-un era. In addition, unlike textbooks in the previous period, learning activities that do not emphasize loyalty to the state or praise for the Kim’s family are gradually increasing. Overall, works and activities that force loyalty for "our country" still occupy most of North Korea’s poetry education, but the rigidity is gradually easing. In addition, North Korean textbooks still provide various concepts and knowledge based on North Korea’s important literary theory, Juche Literary Theory, but among them, efforts are made to realize activity, subjectivity, and step-by-step deepening in learner activities.

      • DEHPA 담체함유 액체막에 의한 우라늄(Ⅵ) 추출

        The extraction of uranium(VI) through a W/O/W liquid membrane containing DEHPA was studied in the counter transport system. The optimum stable conditions of W/O emulsion were determined; the optimum concentrations of surfactant span 80 and paraffine oil were 2 Vol.% and 50 Vol.%, respectively. The extraction results showed that more than 95% of uranium(VI) was extracted during 10 minutes when the carrier concentration was 4 Vol.%, internal aqueous phase; 1N-H₂SO₄solution, external aqueous phase; pH 2 and mixing speed; 350 rpm.

      • 마산연안지역의 국지풍 순환 및 대기오염물질 확산에 관한 연구

        To investigate a horizontal windrose and the mixing height in Masan coastal area, a local atmospheric flow and the concentration of air pollutants were analyzed by abserved data from AWS, airsonde and air sampler. The land-sea breeze model and the ISCST2 model of U. S. EPA(Environmental Protection Agency) were used to predict the concentration of air pollutants such as SO2 and TSP. As a result, during spring the principal wind direction in the Masan region is mainly represented by windrose of the WNW and NW, which can be induced by land breeze and the SE and SSW of sea breeze even if weak wind speed. The mixing height during the measurement was marked with the range from 400 m(0900 LST) to 1450 m(1500 LST), and the height of an inverse layer was presented as the range from 30 m(2100 LST) to 150 m(0300 LST). It is very important to cosider the local wind field for the accurate diffusion and movement of air pollutants in coastal urban area. The atmospheric flow was simulated by the two-dimensional local wind model upon considering the orographic characteristics such as land-sea contrast, mountain valley and urban building. The result of air quality simulated by ISCST2 support that the dispersion pattern of the pollutants in that area was followed as local circulation system in coastal urban area.

        In this thesis, a RFID baseband system is implemented based on the international standard ISO/IEC 18000-6 Type-B using FPGA, and also anti-collision algorithm is implemented to improve the system performance. We compares the performance of the proposed anti-collision algorithm with that binary tree algorithm and bit-by-bit algorithm, and also validated analytic results using OPNET simulation. The convolutional encoding, viterbi decoding and spread spectrum is also implemented to improve the system performance

        The purpose of this study was to develop menus for daily intake of 25g soybean protein and to analyse nutrients of these foods. Analytical values were compared to the theoretical one using the food composition table and recommended dietary allowances for Koreans (7th revision). The results are as follows. 1. Soybean curd residue stew, Soybean curd, Kimchi saute, and hard boiled soybean and lotus root were selected for the menu for January, of which the content of soy bean protein(SBP) was 33.1g, soybean stew, soybean curd and soybean sprout saute, and Italian deep fried soybean curd were for February, of which the content of SBP was 35.0g. The content of SBP in soybean paste soup with soybean curd, fried soybean curd and fried soybean curd roll, the menu for March, was 24.9g. That of April were soybean curd gratin with soymilk, soybean curd and ham with garlic dressing and the content of SBP was 26.3g. That of May were soybean porridge, soybean flour cake with honey (Dasik), soybean sprout soup and the content of SBP was 26.7g. That of June were soymilk, pan-fried soybean curd, steamed soybean curd with chicken and the content of SBP was 28.4g. That of July were noodle with soymilk, mapatofu, soybean curd salad and the content of SBP was 24.7g. That of August were soybean sprout with mustard dressing, Tossed green pepper with raw soybean flour, Tofu and Kimchi stew, soybean curd steak and the content of SBP was 26.2g. That of September were Chinese cabbage soup with raw soybean flour, sweet and sour tofu and the content of SBP was 23.2g. That of Oct. were Fermented soybean stew, soybean pan cake and the content of SBP was 24.3g. That of November were not-pressed soybean curd casserole, pan-fried mashed soybean curd with egg, stir frying deep-fried soybean curd with vegetables and the content of SBP was 22.4g. That of December were soybean curd and mushroom casserole, fried soybean curd and vegetables, hard boiled soybean curd and the content of SBP was 28.9g. 2. The ratio of the analytical value over theoretical value (A/B%) of one serving in kcal, carbohydrate, protein, fat, ash and dietary fiber were 57.7~107.7%, 42.9~131.9%, 79.2~118.3%, 54.5~100%, 40.7~80.8% and 42.1~113.2%, respectively. 3. The ratio of A/B% of one serving in Ca, K, Na, P and Fe were 44.1~93.6%, 59.0~153.1%, 53.1~117.7% 64.6%~138.8 and 33.8~77.3%, respectively. That in Fe was the lowest among minerals. 4. The ratio of analytical value over Korean R.D.A(A/C%) in Ca was relatively higher (22.0~85.9%) than that in kcal(18~63%). 5. The ratio of A/C% in Fe was 25.1~64.3% and lower than that in Ca and protein in general.

        Korean Medical Treatment Including Miniscalpel Acupuncture for Patients After Rotator Cuff Tear Surgery: A Report of Two Cases

        This study aimed to report the effect of Korean medical treatment including miniscalpel acupuncture on 2 patients who underwen tsurgery for rotator cuff tear. They were treated for almost 4 weeks at the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Dong-Eui University Korean Medicine Hospital. Visual analog scale (VAS), and range of movement (ROM) were used to evaluate treatment effects. In both patients, shoulder pain and restriction of shoulder joint movement improved after miniscalpel acupuncture treatment. In Case 1, shoulder pain decreased from a VAS score 8 to a VAS score 3, and ROM of the shoulder improved from flexion $100^{\circ}$ to $160^{\circ}$, extension $10^{\circ}$ to $30^{\circ}$, abduction $90^{\circ}$ to 1$30^{\circ}$, adduction $10^{\circ}$ to $40^{\circ}$, internal rotation $10^{\circ}$ to $50^{\circ}$, and external rotation $10^{\circ}$ to $50^{\circ}$. In Case 2, shoulder pain, which was rated a VAS score 8 at first-visit, disappeared, and ROM of the shoulder recovered to normal range. These results suggest miniscalpel acupuncture may contribute to the recovery process after rotator cuff tear surgery.

        Numerical Study on NO Conversion Characteristics of Ceramic and Metallic Monoliths Under Steady-State External Heat Loss in Marine After-Treatment System

        This study aims to numerically analyze the ceramic and metallic monoliths as a catalyst substrate of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system in marine applications. The representative elementary volume of each catalyst substrate was chosen and pressure drop through the volume was numerically calculated to estimate the parameters for the porous model. The fi xedbed experiment using a powder catalyst of 3V7MO/TiO 2 was conducted in the way to estimate the global one-step reaction kinetics. Thus, the NO conversion from both ceramic and metallic monolith catalysts was calculated by a porous model with a simplifi ed reaction mechanism to numerically investigate the fl ow and thermal characteristics within the two types of catalyst substrate. As an extreme condition, an external heat loss with an ambient temperature of 300 K was set to the reactor wall. Predicted results indicate that the NO conversion performance of ceramic monolith is better in general due to the lower heat loss from the cold wall. However, it is found that there is a trade-off relationship between the residence time and the external heat loss. Heat management such as thermal insulation plays an essential role to maximize the benefi ts of using metallic monolith as a catalyst substrate for practical marine applications.
