      • TMCP 강재를 사용한 용접 H형강 보-기둥의 특성에 관한 연구

        This paper is the experimental study on the behavior of welded H-shape beam-column using TMCP steel. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the elasto-plastic behavior of TMCP steel as it applies beam-column members. In the test, H-188 ×188 ×30 ×30 shape beam-column was loaded monotonic and cyclic by parameter "e"(eccentricity). The structural behavior of specimen under the eccentric loading have been evaluated by moment-curvature relationship and load-deflection relationship. Their load carrying capacities from the result of the test are compared with the theoretical load capacities based on P-M interaction curve.

      • Borrmann 4형으로 진단된 진행성 위암환자의 임상적 검토

        Background/Aim: It is difficult to dignosis of Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer at the early stage, because of its special morphology. Most of the cases have been detected at the advanced stage with poor survival rate. We reviewed patients with advanced gastric cancer, to define clinicopathologic characteristics of Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer comparing other types of gastric cancer. Methods: 1033 patients with advanced gastric cancer were divided into two groups, consisting of 50 patients with Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer, and the remaining 983 patients with all other types of gastric cancer, which were then compared clinicopatologically. Results: The proportion of Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer to advanced gastric cancer was 4.48%(50/1,033). The patients with Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer to advanced gastric cancer was 4.48%(50/1,033). The patients with Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer were composed 20 males and 30 males and revealed the highest frequency 3rd decade (24.0%) in age (range 26-78). In giant folds group (n=27), the number of poorly differentiated cell type, lymph node metastasis, peritoneal seeding were 20 (74.1%), 17 (63,0%), 12 (44.4%). In non-giant folds group (n=23), the number of poorly differentiated type, lymph node metastasis, peritoneal seeding were 17 (73.9%), 15 (65.2%), 6 (26.1%). Rate of tumor invasion in serosa and beyound serosa was 88.9% in giant fold group, 63.0% in non-giant fold group. Surgery was performed in only 32% as a modality of treatment (vs. 82.5%). Characteristics findings of Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer in EUS showed a thickening of the third (submucosa) and fourth (muscularis propria) layers in 72% of 50 patients, and a well preserved five-layered gastric wall structure in 33 patients. Conclusions: We concluded that Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer was diagnosed more in females, as a more advanced disease, early detection was needed. And endoscopic ultrasonography is useful for diagnosis of Borrmann type 4 gastric cancer in the cases of suspicious results of gastroscopy.

        In this paper, the results of cyclic loading tests with 1 full-scale bare steel beam specimen and 3 composite beam specimens were shown. The effect that moment transfer efficiency of a web and strain concentration of the composite beam connections at a beam-to-column connections was investigated. Test results showed that the moment transfer efficiency of the composite specimen was poor when comparing to bare steel specimen due to slab effects. The strain near the bottom flange of the composite connections were several times larger than that of the bare steel connections. The deformation capacity of the composite beam specimens decreased due to the poor moment transfer efficiency and the strain concentration.

        The resistance of a structure against an earthquake is related to its ability to absorb the seismic input energy. The development of devices for dissipating the seismically induced energy on the structure is a subject that is receiving large attention in the field of earthquake engineering. One example of these devices is the steel plate with slits. In this paper, a connection with a slit-type steel plate damper installed at each ends of wide-flange section beam, as an energy absorption element, was proposed. A series of experiment was performed to investigate their behavior and structural characteristic. The main parameters were the aspect ratio of the struts in slit plates, thickness of the struts and height of the vertical places. Test results indicated that most of the energy was absorbed by plastic deformation of slit plate dampers.

      • 3차원 직육면체 대공간 내에서의 열 및 기류 유동에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 대공간 내에서의 열 및 기류 유동 현상을 연구하기 위하여 464×300× 950mm^3크기의 축소 모형으로 아트리움을 제작하였다. 가상 화재를 모사하기 위하여 대공간 하단에 히터를 설치하였으며, 히터의 온도에 따른 대공간 내의 온도분포를 측정하였다. 본 실험에서 얻은 결과는 아트리움과 같은 대공간에서 화재가 발생하였을 경우에 열 및 기류 현상을 해석하기 위한 기초자료 및 열유동 현상을 해석하는 수치해석 프로그램의 계산 결과의 기준 데이터로도 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

        In this paper, the results of monotonic loading analysis with 4 full-scale specimen were shown. The effect that moment transfer efficiency of a web and strain concentration at a steel beam-to-column connections was investigated. Analysis results showed that the moment transfer efficiency of the specimen with box-column was poor when comparing to specimen with H-column due to out-of-plane deformation of the box-column flange. The presence of scallop and thin plate of box column was also a reason of the decrease of moment transfer efficiency, which would result in a potential fracture of the steel beam-to-column connections. As a result, the deformation capacity of connections with box-column may decrease due to the poor moment transfer efficiency and the strain concentration

      • 플레이트를 이용한 냉간성형 각형강관 T형 접합부에 관한 실험적 연구

        The purpose of this paper is to investigate experimentally the strength and deformation of T-joints to evaluate the structural behavior of truss connection consisted in square hollow steel section with plate. There are the branch plate type in T-joint shapes. Principal parameters are the ratio of the chord width to thickness(2ν=31.3, 22.2, 16.7) and the ratio of branch plate thickness to chord width(βp=0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.75, 0.85). The most important result obtained from this experiment is as follows; The ultimate strength of T-joints increase proportionally as the 2ν ratio decrease, and the βp ratio increase. The others, experimental results are summarized for ultimate strength to displacement, initial stiffness and failure mode of each T-joints.

        Development of a Theranostic Convergence Bioradiopharmaceutical for Immuno-PET Based Radioimmunotherapy of L1CAM in Cholangiocarcinoma Model

        <P><B>Purpose:</B></P><P>Cholangiocarcinoma is a malignancy of bile duct with a poor prognosis. Conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy are generally ineffective, and surgical resection is the only curative treatment for cholangiocarcinoma. L1-cell adhesion molecule (L1CAM) has been known as a novel prognostic marker and therapeutic target for cholangiocarcinoma. This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of immuno-PET imaging–based radioimmunotherapy using radiolabeled anti-L1CAM antibody in cholangiocarcinoma xenograft model.</P><P><B>Experimental Design:</B></P><P>We prepared a theranostic convergence bioradiopharmaceutical using chimeric anti-L1CAM antibody (cA10-A3) conjugated with 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA) chelator and labeled with <SUP>64</SUP>Cu or <SUP>177</SUP>Lu and evaluated the immuno-PET or SPECT/CT imaging and biodistribution with <SUP>64</SUP>Cu-/<SUP>177</SUP>Lu-cA10-A3 in various cholangiocarcinoma xenograft models. Therapeutic efficacy and response monitoring were performed by <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-cA10-A3 and <SUP>18</SUP>F-FDG-PET, respectively, and immunohistochemistry was done by TUNEL and Ki-67.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>Radiolabeled cA10-A3 antibodies specifically recognized L1CAM <I>in vitro</I>, clearly visualized cholangiocarcinoma tumors in immuno-PET and SPECT/CT imaging, and differentiated the L1CAM expression level in cholangiocarcinoma xenograft models. <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-cA10-A3 (12.95 MBq/100 μg) showed statistically significant reduction in tumor volumes (<I>P</I> < 0.05) and decreased glucose metabolism (<I>P</I> < 0.01). IHC analysis revealed <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-cA10-A3 treatment increased TUNEL-positive and decreased Ki-67-positive cells, compared with saline, cA10-A3, or <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-isotype.</P><P><B>Conclusions:</B></P><P>Anti-L1CAM immuno-PET imaging using <SUP>64</SUP>Cu-cA10-A3 could be translated into the clinic for characterizing the pharmacokinetics and selecting appropriate patients for radioimmunotherapy. Radioimmunotherapy using <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-cA10-A3 may provide survival benefit in L1CAM-expressing cholangiocarcinoma tumor. Theranostic convergence bioradiopharmaceutical strategy would be applied as imaging biomarker-based personalized medicine in L1CAM-expressing patients with cholangiocarcinoma.</P>

      • Preparation of a chemically amplified photosensitive polyimide based on norbornene-end-capped poly(amic acid ethoxymethylester)

        <P>A positive-working chemically amplified photosensitive polyimide (PSPI) developable with basic aqueous solutions was obtained from poly(amic acid ethoxymethylester) (PAAE) as a polyimide precursor and diphenyliodonium 5-hydroxynaphthalene-1-sulfonate (DINS) as a photoacid generator. The norbornene-end-capped PAAE based on 4,4′-oxydiphthalic anhydride and 4,4′-oxydianiline exhibited high transparency at 365 nm. The protection ratio of the ethoxymethyl groups was optimized to maximize the difference between the dissolution rates of the exposed and unexposed areas. The acid generated from DINS in the UV-exposed region effectively deprotected the ethoxymethyl groups of PAAE by a chemical amplification mechanism. A 10-μm-thick film of the PSPI precursor system containing 16 wt % DINS exhibited a sensitivity (D<SUP>o</SUP>) of 1100 mJ cm<SUP>−2</SUP> when developed with a 2.38 wt % aqueous tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide solution at room temperature. A fine, positive, 5-μm line-and-space pattern was fabricated in a 15-μm-thick film with 1500 mJ cm<SUP>−2</SUP> of UV exposure. This resolution is excellent in comparison with those previously reported for chemically amplified PSPIs, and such a film can thus be used as a buffer coating in semiconductor packaging. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.         Synthesis of O-(3-[<sup>18</sup>F]Fluoropropyl)-L-tyrosine (L-[<sup>18</sup>F]FPT) and Its Biological Evaluation in 9L Tumor Bearing Rat

        O-(3-[$^{18}$F]Fluoropropyl)-L-tyrosine (L-[$^{18}$F]FPT) was synthesized by nucleophilic radiofluorination followed by acidic hydrolysis of protective groups and evaluated with 9 L tumor bearing rat. L-[$^{18}$F]FPT is an homologue of O-(2-[$^{18}$F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine (L-[$^{18}$F]FET) which recently is studied as a tracer for tumor imaging using positron emission tomography (PET). [$^{18}$F]FPT was directly prepared from the precursor of O-(3-ptoluenesulfonyloxypropyl)- N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-L-tyrosine methyl ester. FPT-PET image was obtained at 60 min in 9 L tumor bearing rats. The radiochemical yield of [$^{18}$F]FPT was 0-45% (decay corrected) and the radiochemical purity was more than 95% after HPLC purification. The total time elapsed for the synthesis of [$^{18}$F]FPT was 100 min from EOB (End-of-bombardment). A comparison of uptake studies between [$^{18}$F]FPT and [$^{18}$F]FET was performed. In biodistribution, [$^{18}$F]FPT showed similar pattern with [$^{18}$F]FET in various tissues, but [$^{18}$F]FPT showed low uptake in brain. Furthermore, [$^{18}$F]FPT showed higher tumor-to-brain ratio than [$^{18}$F]FET. In conclusion, [$^{18}$F]FPT seems to be more useful amino acid tracer than [$^{18}$F]FET for brain tumors imaging with PET.
