실용음악 전공 학생들의 발성치료 전후 성대 및 음성 특성 비교

Background and Objectives : Many students major in applied music singing have various difficulties in phonation when they sing or perform. But the studies about this cause are lack. The purpose of this study is whether singing voice therapy based on vocal music is effective or not to applied music singing students that have difficulties in phonation. Materials and Methods : Singing voice therapy program had been done to 8 students major in applied music singing during 7 weeks. We did laryngeal stroboscope, perceptual, acoustic and aerodynamic examination before and after singing voice therapy to this students. And we studied post examination results have differences or improvements compared to pre examination results. Results : Four male students don't have effective improvement after singing voice therapy but they shows slight improvement in aerodynamic examination values compared to pre examination values. Four female students shows improvement in aerodynamic examination values and pitch range increasing. Above all, one student's vocal nodules disappeared after singing voice therapy. Conclusion : Singing voice therapy based on music singing is very effective to the students major in applied music singing. Above all, their curriculum in applied music singing should include phonation training based on music singing before training perform and technic practices.

Glassy Carbon 전극에서의 벗김 전압-전류법을 이용한 2-Amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylate의 분석과 전극 반응 메카니즘의 연구

많은 금속이온들에 대한 킬레이트시약으로 알려진2-amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarbox-ylate(acdc) 음이온의 전기화학적 거동을 직류 폴라로 그래피, 순환 전압전류법 및 양극 벗김 전압 전류법을 사용하여 수용액 및 아세톤 용액에서 각각 조사하였다. 수용액에서 glassy carbon전극을 사용하였을 때 +0.25V vs. SCE에서 1전자 산화반응을 거쳐 acdc의 이합체가 생성됨을 확인하였으며 이 이 합체는 glassy carbon 전극 표면에 석출되어 흡착이 일어남을 알 수 있었다. 이 흡착된 이합체가 +0.80V에서 2전자 산화반응을 거쳐 S가 한원자 유리된 고리를 형성하는 반응이 일어 남을 알았다. 이러한 이합체 생성반응을 이용하여 이 화합물의 흡착성 양극 벗김 전압전류법에 의한 분석법을 조사하였다. 직류폴라로그래피을 사용한 벗김 전압-전류법에 의해 검량선을 얻은 결과 3 ×10^(-5)M∼10^(-6)M 사이에서 좋은 직선상을 얻을 수 있었으며 확산전류를 사용한 분석법에 비해 약100배 가량 분석감도가 증진됨을 알 수 있었다. 이때 검출한계는 2.5 ∼10^-7)M이었으며 5 ×10^(-6)M에서의 상대 표준편차는 ±4.1%이었다. The electrochemical behavior of 2-Amino-1-cyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylate(acdc) was investigated by the use of polarography, cyclic voltammetry and cathodic stripping voltammetry at glassy carbon electrode. In this study, it was found that the dimer of the acdc was deposited on the glassy carbon electrode via one-electron oxidation process at ±0.25V vs.SCE. The ring formation between two dithio group occurs along with the elimination of one sulfur atom. The elimination of sulfur atom occurs via two electron oxidation process at ±0.8V vs.SCE. The most sensitive cathodic stripping peak due to the formation of the dimer was observed at -0.85V vs. SCE. The peak relationship between current and concentration was fairly linear in the range of 3 ×10^(-5)∼1.0 ×10^(6)M. The preconcentration procedure enhanced the sensitivity about 100 times for the analysis of acdc using diffusion current. Detection limit was found to be 2.5 ×10^(-7)M and relative standard deviation was ±4.1% at 5.0 ×10^(-6)M DC polarography.

The carpophores of Hirshipporus fusco-violaceus(Schard.ex Fr.) which grows widly in Korea were collected in the Gyeong Gi Province and extracted with chloroform and methanol. Two compounds were isolated from the extract and one of these compounds were identified as ergosterol by T.L.C., G.L.C. and chemical tests.

The methanol extract of Nelumbo seed (Nelumbo nucifera GAERTN) was treated with 10% alcoholic KOH solution and three components were isolated from the unsaponificated matters. The sterols were identified as ergosterol and β-Sitosterol by T.L.C., G.L.C. and chemical tests.

서울 단일 지역의 Helicobacter pylori 1차 제균율과 2차 제균율의 변화

Objectives: To investigate the rate of first-line eradication and the rate of second-line eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) from 2001 to 2010 in a single institute in Seoul. Methods: Among the 2,717 patients who received H. pylori eradication treatment from 2001 to 2010 at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, the medical records of 1,466 patients who satisfied the condition of execution of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, positive H. pylori eradication results at 6~8 weeks after eradication therapy were reviewed retrospectively. Then the first-line and second-line eradication rates and the eradication rates according to endoscopy findings were also compared. Results: The first-line eradication rate was 77% H. pylori eradication rate for the last 5 years was continuously increasing and no sign of decline was observed even for the whole 10 years. The rates of eradication related to endoscopic findings showed statistical significance (P<0.001) of 79.8% and 70.1% each for peptic ulcer and non-ulcerative gastric diseases, respectively. Conclusion: In this study, no decrease in tendency of first-line eradication rate could be found. In addition, the patients with the non-ulcerative gastric disease seemed to show significantly lower eradication rate. This finding suggests eradication treatment may be affected by the category of gastric diseases, and careful considerations should be taken assessing the effects and needs for the H. pylori eradication treatment.

The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the third year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. 돼지 신장세포(PK15)의 이종이식 거부반응에 대한 재조합 IL-18의 영향

Various cytokines including IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, IL-12p40, IFN-r, and TNF-α have been recently reported to play important roles in both host and donor cell activations during xenotransplantation. Interleukin (IL)-18, a proinflammatory cytokine, can induce IL-4 and IL-13 production in T cells, NK cells, B cells, mast cells, and basophils. IL-18 has the capacity to stimulate innate immunity and both Th1-and Th2- mediated responses, but little is known to involve in the xenograft rejection. In order to investigate the role of IL-18 in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the pig kidney (PK15) cells to C57BL/6 mouse with or without intraperitoneal injection of mouse recombinatant IL-18, It was analyzed the population of T cell, B cell and NK cell in the mice transplanted with PK 15 cells and recombinant IL-18 by flow cytometry. We found that splenic CD3+ T cells were increased in mice injected PKl5 cells with recombinant IL-18. These results suggest that recombinant IL-18 is critical in the xenograft rejection by increasing T cell population of the recipients.

Antitumor and Immunostimulating Activities of $Elfvingia$ $applanata$ Hot Water Extract on Sarcoma 180 Tumor-bearing ICR Mice

$Elfvingia$ $applanata$, a medicinal mushroom belonging to Basidiomycota, has been used in the effort to cure cancers of the esophagus and stomach, and is also known to have inhibitory effects on hepatitis B virus infection. The hot water soluble fraction (as Fr. HW) was extracted from fruiting bodies of the mushroom. $In$ $vitro$ cytotoxicity tests showed that hot water extract was not cytotoxic against cancer cell lines such as Sarcoma 180, HT-29, HepG2, and TR at concentrations of 10-2,000 ${\mu}g/mL$. Intraperitoneal injection with Fr. HW resulted in a life prolongation effect of 45.2% in mice previously inoculated with Sarcoma 180. Treatment of Fr. HW resulted in a 2.53-fold increase in the numbers of murine spleen cells at a concentration of 50 ${\mu}g/mL$, compared with control. Incubation of murine spleen cells with Fr. HW at a concentration of 500 ${\mu}g/mL$ resulted in improved immune-potwntiating activity of B lymphocytes through an 8.3-folds increase in alkaline phosphatase activity, compared with control. Fr. HW generated 12.5 ${\mu}M$ of nitric oxide (NO) when cultured with RAW 264.7, a mouse macrophage cell line, at the concentration of 50 ${\mu}g/mL$, while lipopolysaccharide, a positive control, produced 15.2 ${\mu}M$ of NO. Therefore, the results suggested that antitumor activities of Fr. HW from $E.$ $applanata$ might, in part, be due to host mediated immunostimulating activity.
