In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

Background : In recent years, gonorrhea has been panedemic and remains one of the most commom STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Methods: For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of PPNG, we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results: In 1996, 139 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 53(39.0%) were PPNG. Conclusion: Our results suggests that after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is gradually declining.

This study is designed to grasp the elements and situations of stage fright in order to propose a part of ways to cope with it. We make 511 top-class high school players, male and female, in the central districts (Seoul, Inchon, Kyungki, Chungbuk, and Kangweon Province) on object of questionnaire, and get the following results. Through players generally have all-round characters they show weakness in the superiority and emotional stability while showing strength in the sonformity. This fact comes to be related to the elements which cause stage fright. Physiological changes also have many effects on the symptom of stage fright. Especially, stage fright increases when players show sensitive reaction to the self-consciousness of final consequence which comes from the tension or uneasiness of sympathetic nerve, Thus, it turns out that players make use of reducing psychological burden by physical exercise or adjusting the level of demanded result in order to release the stage fright.
음성인식을 위한 음성신호와 인식 인수의 상관 모델링에 대한 연구

Speech is one of the most natural communication tools for human beings. So everyone can use this tool easily without leaning. In the future, speech will be the new man-machine interface. However in order to use speech for the new man-machine interface, we must solve many of problems on the speech recognition. So that, this paper presents a speech modelling that reconstructs its signal by using of zero crossing interval and its energy, and makes research on the characteristics of the speech features - LPC, cepstrum coefficients, and LSF coefficients, for the speech recognition applications. Experiments indicate that the modelling speech signal shows better performance than non-modelling signal on the speaker independency, noise effects, and the stationarity of speech features in syllable interval. But also it indicates that the non-modelling signal takes better performance in the boundary characteristics between each syllables.

For the comparative analysis of the blood lactate concentration of scuba diver according to change from safety zone to sea and of the change of amount of CPK while scuba diving, C university measured the blood lactate concentration and amount of CPK against middle level and debutant scuba divers. As a result, the following differences ranging from 1) to 4) were found in divers by each factor. 1) The blood lactate concentration and CPK amount of clivers out of safety zone were 2.68 and 225.70 respectively. They were out of sea area 3.70 and 337.90 respectively. The change in blood lactate concentration out of safety zone was higher than out of sea area and CPK amount was found higher from safety zone than from sea area. But to find what differences between the blood lactate concentration and CPK amount between safety zone and sea area, I implemented independent T-test against average differences, the significance of blood lactate was .092 while that of CPK amount was .312. Therefore, the blood lactate concentration and CPK amount were not significant in safety zone and sea area. In other words, there is no significant differences in change of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount of clivers in change from safety zone to sea area. 2) The average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount in 30 minutes after going out of safety zone were 2.04 and 259,80 respectively and the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount in 30 minutes after going out of sea area zone were 2.28 and 377.60 respectively. The blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during 30-min rest after going out of safety zone were found higher in sea area. But to find what differences between the blood lactate concentration and CPK amount between safety zone and sea area in 30 minutes out of waters, I implemented independent T-test against average differences, the significance of blood lactate was .592 while that of CPK amount was .307. Therefore, the blood lactate concentration and CPK amount after 30 minutes were not significant in safety zone and sea area. In other words, there is no significant differences in change of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount of divers in change from safety zone to sea area. 3) During stabilization of divers, the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount were 2.66 and 290.80 respectively, the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount after going out of safety zone were 2.68 and 257.70 respectively and the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during 30 minutes after going out of safety zone were 2.04 and 259.80 respectively and the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount after going out of sea area were 3.70 and 377.90 respectively and the average blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during 30 minutes after going out of sea area were 2.28 and 377.60 respectively. From the above results of higher concentration and CPK of divers going out of sea area, the sea environment gives more impact on divers. 4) The conclusion of each factor and rest is as follows: The significance of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during stabilization and out of safety zone were .961 and .666 respectively. Therefore, there is no significance in divers resting and going out of safety zone. The significance of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during 30 minutes of rest and out of safety zone were .083 and .683 respectively. Therefore, there is no significance during 30 minutes of divers resting and going out of safety zone. The significance of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during stabilization and out of sea area were .035 and .514 respectively. Therefore, there is no significance in clivers resting and going out of sea area. The significance of blood lactate concentration and CPK amount during 30 minutes of rest and out of sea area were .292 and .507 respectively. Therefore, there is no significance during 30 minutes of clivers resting and going out of sea area.

The LPC-10 speech data compression algorithm is implemented with computer program and invested through computer simulation. The simulation results show that the algorithm provides relatively good quality at the transmission rate of 2.4kbps. According to the investigation of the effect of channel errors on the algorithm in digital mobile radio communication, the algorithm has the good quality below the bit error rate of around 5×10^(-3).

This study is aimed to identify effects of import liberalization of chicken products not only on agriculture but also on national economy overall. The extending influences on production and income are generally measured using input-output analysis tool. But the reaction induced by import liberalization of chicken products would not be considered in the open static input-output-model, far example multiplicator effects between income and consumption. In order to overcome the defect of the open static input-output-model, the open static Leontief-model is extended to the income-consumption relation in measuring the extended effects of the import liberalization of chicken products. This study is undertaken using the results of KREI(Jan. 1994) which concluded that the direct losses in agriculture from 1995 to 2001 could be 113 billion won at the constant price of 1990. It was calculated that the indirect production losses of the other related industries could be 165 billion won, and 246 billion won in the view of income-consumption relation. It was also predicted that the indirect income losses of the other related industries would be 89 billion won, and 126 billion won in the view of income-consumption relation. As a result import liberalization of chicken products could possibly bring about larger losses to the other industries than to agriculture. Especially, in the "Other flood preparations" sector, the indirectly largest loses could predict to be occured.
벼 무논골뿌림栽培時 播種期 및 立毛數가 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

This study was conducted to establish the cultural techniques of the puddled-soil drill seeding of race (Oryza sativa L.), which is one of the efficient labor saving cultural methods, in the central part of Korea. Seoanbyeo was seeded at three times from April 10 to May 20 with the 20 day interval in 1994. The number of seedling stands per m2 at each seeding date were 50, 90, 130 and 170. The tillering characteristics, lodging characters, dry matter production, yield components and yield were investigated. The number of days to the maximum tillering stage was reduced at the later seeding date. It was 70, 55 and 25 days in seedings on April 10, April 30 and May 20, respectively. The critical effective tillering stage was also shortened at the delayed seeding. The higher the number of seedling stands was, the higher number of tillers, the shorter duration to the maximum tillering stage and the earlier critical effective tillering stage were resulted. The number of tillers was higher at the earlier seeding date. The number of tillers was increased in the order of 50, 90, 130 and 170 seedling stands per m2. The ratios of effective tillers were 53, 61 and 63% at seeding on April 10, April 30 and May 20, respectively. The ratios were not significantly different at April 10. But the ratios in seeding on April 30 and May 20 were reduced as the number of seedling stands was increased. The weight of stem base related to lodging was the highest with 2.01g/10 plants in the optimum seeding on April 30, while it was 1.59g/10 plants in the late seeding on May 20. It was also decreased as the number of seedling stands was increased. The dry weights at 30 days before the heading stage were increased at the later seeding, while the dry weight at the heading stage was the highest at seeding on April 30 which is considered as the adequate seeding time. The dry weights at 30 days before the heading stage were increased as the number of seedling stands was increased and they were increased up to 130 seedling stands per m2 at the heading stage. The length of panicle exsertion was shortened at the later seeding. The length of panicle exsertion was increased up to 130 seedling stands. but it was shorter at 170 seedling stands. The heading dates were later at seeding on April 30 and May 20 than at seeding on April 10. They were not remarkedly different among seeding dates at 50 seedling stands, it was earlier at the higher number of seedling stands over 90. The number of spikelets per panicle was decreased at the higher number of seedling stands. The ratio of ripened grains was higher at earlier seeding than at later seeding. It was not significantly different among the number of seedling stands at the same seeding time. Yields at seeding on April 30, April 10 and May 20 were 644, 624 and 551kg/10a, respectively. The seeding on April 30, the optimum seeding time, resulted the highest yield. Rice quality was decreased due to the increase of the green kerneled rice as the seeding date was delayed.

The purpose of this study this study was to comparative analysis the V02max and HR through arm ergometer exercise, bicycle ergometer exercise, and treadmill exercise and to propose correct data of aerobic ability according to GXT. Subjects for study were 8 healthy male students. The process of the test were performed maximal GXT on arm ergometer exercise, bicycle ergometer exercise, and treadmill exercise and measured V02max, max heart rate and recovery time of 3 VO2 and heart rate respectively. The conclusions were supported by the findings of this study: 1.There were significant differences between test style and V02/kg/min(p<.05). 2.There were significant differences between test style and test stage at heart rate(p<.05) There were no effect of reciprocal action. Therefore, V02/kg/min should be on individual exercise prescription guiedlines for health promotion should be provided proper GXT which are arm ergometer exercise, bicycle ergometer exercise, and treadmill exercise.
