      • Pefloxacin의 광분해에 관한 연구 Ⅰ

        We investigated the photodegradation of pefloxacin(PFX) in some conditions. Pefloxacin was decomposed by light with different patterns in several solvents-ethanol, methanol and water. In the neutral and alkaline the rate of photo-degradation was more rapid than in acidic. When oxygen was replaced to N_2 gas, we found that it prevent pefloxacin from photodegrada-tion. Using the singlet oxygen scavenges-sodium azide and α-tocopherol, we obtained an indica-tive evidence of that photo-degradation pathway is mediated by singlet oxygen.

        상악 후방의 부분 무치악부에 Sintered porous surface implant의 적용에 관한 문헌고찰 및 증례보고

        Implant therapy based on the principle of osseointegration has seen a remarkable expansion of its application in dentistry in recent years. This article is a consideration of an endosseous dental implant device(Endopcre, Innova) that uses a sintered porous surface geometry to achieve implant fixation by bone ingrowth. Its implant is documented excellent survival rate(97.2% after a mean functional time of 34.6 months) in Partially edentulous maxillae and insignificant crestal bone loss from baseline. The combination of an innovative, minimally invasive, indirect sinus elevation procedure with a porous-surfaced dental implant system may allow the routine treatment of posterior maxillary site in patients who would otherwise require much more sophisticated and expensive reconstructive surgery to receive longer dental implants .

      • 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 電氣刺戟스트레스를 받은 mouse의 免疫機能에 미치는 影響

        본 실험은 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯의 항스트레효과를 조사하기 위하여 시행되었다. 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 전기자극으로 스트레스 상황을 유발시킨 mouse에게 끼친 B 임파구 면역계 변화를 mouse 혈청의 綿羊赤血球에 대한 적혈구 응집소가와 비장세포에서 B 세포 및 T 세포가 차지하는 백분율의 변화를 통하여 측정하였으며 이를 대조군과 비교 분석하였다. 혈청 항체가의 측정에서 스트레스 자극하에서 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯을 투여받은 그룹에서 약제를 투여받지 않은 그룹에 비하여 유의성 있는 차이를 보여(p<0.01) 면역 기능을 정상군의 수준으로 유지하는 결과를 얻었다. T 세포와 B 세포의 백분율의 측정에서도 스트레스 자극하에서 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯을 투여 받은 그룹에서 약제를 투여 받지 않은 그룹에 비하여 유의성 있는 차이를 보여(p,0.01) 면역 기능을 정상군의 수준으로 유지하는 결과를 얻었다. 실험결과들로 보아 越鞠丸合補中益氣湯이 체액성 면역 반응과 비장 내 면역 세포의 백분율을 정상의 수준으로 유지하는 효과를 보여 면역 기능의 이상에 응용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다고 사료된다. The present experiments were designed to study the influence of Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang on immune functions of Balb/c mice under stress condition. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang was orally administered to the mice for 15 days. On the 10th day the mice were immunized with sheep red blood cells (SRBC) and then subjected to electric footshock for 5 days (2 sessions a day, 11 footshocks a 31 min-session). The immune responses to SRBC were determined by means of hemagglutination and B / T cell populations in the spleen were studied by FACS analysis on the 16th day. The results were as follows. 1. After electric footshock, mice became sluggish and crowded to one side of the cage. Increased antibody titer for SRBC, increased B cell population, and decreased 7 cell population in the spleen were also observed. These results confirm that electric footshock caused stress inducing immunological and behavioral changes in Balb/c mice. 2. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang administration significantly antagonized the effect of electric footshock on the antibody titer for SRBC. As a result, antibody titers for SRBC in the mice treated with Walgookwhanga-Bojoongikgitang were maintained at the similar levels as those of control group mice even after the electric footshock. 3. Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang administration also antagonized the effect of electric footshock on the B / T populations in spleen. As a result, B and T populations in the mice treated with Walgookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang were maintained at the similar levels as in the control group mice even after the electric footshock. Taken together, M algookwhanhab-Bojoongikgitang seem to help Balb/c mice to maintain their humoral immune response and immune cell populations at a normal range under the stress conditions, suggesting its possible therapeutic use as a immune function modulator.

        들깨 유전자원의 단백질함량과 지방 및 지방산 특성

        공시된 들깨 지방재래종 90개 품종의 단백질함량, 지방 및 지방산을 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 숙기별로는 중ㆍ만생종의 평균단백질 함량은 22.4%로 비교적 낮았고, 품종분포가 대부분 평균치에 가까웠으며, 조생종은 평균단백질 함량이 24.1%로 비교적 높았다. 2. 평균단백질함량은 소립종(천립중3.0~4.0g이하)이 23.0%로, 중립종(천립중 4.0~5.0g)이나 대립종(천립중 5.0~6.0g)의 22.1%보다 높은 경향이었다. 3. 기름함량은 조생종이 42.6%로 가장 적었고, 중생종이 44.5%, 만생종이 45.5%로 기름함량이 많았으며, 립중별로는 소립종이 44.2%, 중립종이 43.1%, 대립종이 41.5% 대립종일수록 낮은 경향이었다. 4. 지방산조성은 숙기가 늦어짐에 따라 Oleic acid와 Linolenic acid는 다소 많았고, Linoleic acid는 적어지는 경향이었다. Linoleic acid는 극대립종에서 15.5%로 가장 높았고 립중이 가벼울수록 높아지는 경향이었다. 5. 기름함량과 지방산 비율간의 상관 정도를 보면 기름함량과 Palmitic acid, Linoleic acid는 負의 상관이나, Stearic acid, Linolenic acid는 正의 상관을 보였다. Stearic acid는 Oleic acid와 유의적인 정의 상관을 , Linoleic acid와는 부의 상관을 보였다. Oleic acid는 Linoleic acid 및 Linolenic acid와 고도로 유의한 부의 상관을, Linoleic acid는 Linolenic acid와, 포화지방산은 불포화지방산과 유의한 부의 상관을 보였다. Korean local collected strains or varieties of perilla analyzed on their protein and oil content and fatty acids composition in the seed. The strains analyzed were 90 of which grown in the experimental field of Chungbuk Agricultural Research and Extension Services at Cheongwon and Umseong from 2001 to 2002. The seed protein contents of 90 perilla varieties ranged from 19.1% to 29.0% and the average content was 22.8%. There differed by the seed coat color showing 1.9% higher content in light gray than that of dark brown, which may suggest that the seed coat color could be used as a marker gene for breeding high protein varieties. Oil content of medium and late varieties in maturity showed higher as compared to early varieties, and appeared differences by seed coat color, and small seed varieties showed higher seed oil content than in large seed varieties by seed size. Linoleic and linolenic acid content of which major fatty acids in perilla seed were 74.4% in average of tested varieties. Fatty acid composition of perilla varieties were not significantly different by maturity, seed coat color and 1,000 seed weight. Oil content showed high positive correlation, with stearic and linolenic acids and negative correlation with linoleic acid.

      • 가사노동의 에너지 대사에 관한 연구 : 작업대 높이를 중심으로 On the basis of the height of Work Surface

        본 연구의 목적은 동일 작업대에서 가사노동시 작업자의 신장과 에너지 대사와의 관계를 분석하는데 있다. 실험은 가사에 경험이 있는 자로서 신장별로 A(152㎝), B(159㎝), C(172㎝)를 피실험자로 하여 Respilyzer를 이용한 간접열량 측정법을 이용하였다. 실험 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 각 작업의 R. M. R. 평균은 설겆이 작업 0.64, 고구마 채썰기 0.77, 고구마 볶기는 0.42였다. 2. 개수대 작업에서 신장별에 따라 R. M. R.은 피실험자 C. A. B.의 순으로 키가 큰 사람이 (C) 1.16으로 에너지소모가 가장 많았다. 3. 준비대 작업에서 신장별에 따라 R. M. R.은 피실험자 A. B. C의 순으로 나타났으나 그 차이가 타작업에 비해 근소하였다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때 현재 시판되고 있는 작업대 높이에서 주부가 가사노동할 경우 표준신장에 가까운 사람에 비해 신장에 차이가 있는 사람은 개수대, 준비대에서의 작업시 에너지소모가 많다는 것을 알 수 있다. 생활수준의 향상과 더불어 신장도 증가하는 일로에 있으나 가사노동하는 주부의 체위는 다양하다. 이러한 점을 고려할 때 기업체에서는 시판 작업대 제작시 높이를 평균 키에 맞추어 단일화시킬 것이 아니라 작업자의 체위를 고려하여 적어도 상, 중, 하의 높이의 형으로라도 되어질 것이 요구된다고 하겠다. The purpose of present research is to analyze the relation of the height of homeworker and the Energy- Metabolism when welted on Sink Center, Mix Center andRange . Experiment was used indirection - calorimetry with Respilyzer and subjects wereclassified into A(152cm), B(158.6cm) and C(172cm) according to height. The results of this study were as follows ; 1. The average of R. M. R. in each homeworking was 0.64 in dishwashing (Sink Center), 0.77 in sweet potato slicing (Mix Center) and 0.42 in sweet potato Panbroiling (Range). 2. In dishwashing, R. H. R. according to height was the highest in the subject Cin order of C.A. B. 3. In sweet potato slicing, R. M. R. according to height was the hightest in thesubject A in order of A. C. B. 4. In sweet potato pan-broiling, R. M. R. according to height was high in orderof the subject A. B. C but the difference of R. M. R. among A. B. C was a few ascompared with dishwashing and sweet potato slicing.

      • Polygoum Tinctoria와 합성 인디고 염료의 물리화학적 특성 비교

        The natural dye substances appear to have a lot of benefits that enable the dyed materials to exhibit their natural colors. It may have a bit of a harmful influence on the human body itself, in comparison with the synthetic substances. It also causes hardly any environmental pollution because of the natural chemicals and costs much less to disposal. In this study was investigated physicochemical characterization of polygoum tinctoria dye substance and synthetic indigo. Calcium hydroxide was added into polygoum tinctoria leaves to precipitate dye substances and it was freezing dried into powder form. Characterizations of dye substances were investigated by UV/VIS spectrophotometer, TLC, DSC, TGA, HPLC, and MALDI-TOF Mass. Resultantly, polygoum tinctoria was confirmed that is consisted of two ingredients from these results.

        Biodegradable retinal fixation devices obtain mechnical fixation of the retina with desirable chorioretinal scarring and with the potential for local, sustained release of antimetabolites and steroids to inhibit proliferative vitreoretinopathy. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack with barb that was designed in order to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. This study was carried to evaluate the efficacy for retinal fixation and the capability for sustained release of drugs with a newly designed biodegradable retinal tack Biodegradable retinal tacks were made of polymers of glycolic acids and were designed with barbs in a shape to prevent the disinsertion. Biodegradale retinal tacks are divided into 3 parts, a conical portion that is inserted into the sclera, a cylinder portion that remains in the vitreous, and a neck portion between the pin and the cylinder. The tapered conical end was manufactured to allow easy insertion through the retina and choroid into the sclera. A cylinder portion was manufactured with a tapered angle that fixes firmly into the orifice of 19 gauge spinal needle. A neck portion, 0.4 mm in diameter, was designed to prevent disinsertion from following implantation of retinal tack. The applicator was a 19 gauge spinal needle and its orifice was prepared to 15°angle to accept the tapered cylinder portion of the retinal tack. The retinal tacks, secured in the needles, were passed through the formed vitreous and inserted into the retina, choroid, and sclera and were released by pushing the internal needle, usually within 2-3mm of the medullary ray of the posterior rabbit retina A retinal tack was placed in each of 8 pigmented rabbit eyes. Slit-lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy and fundus photography were performed periodically from 1 day to 8 weeks after surgery. Eight eyes were enucleated and studied by light microscopy at 8 weeks. Biomicroscopic evaluation of the animals revealed edemas adjacent to the retinal surfaces immediately after insertion of the biodegradable retinal tacks in all the animals. These edemas disappeared after 1 week. The first noticeable change in the size of retinal tacks was shown after 2weeks. The size of the retinal tacks gradually got smaller, decreasing to about one-half at 4 weeks and about one-third at 8 weeks. All retinal tacks remained in inserted places without any movement for an 8 week period. On light microscopy, epiretinal proliferations were seen to extend into the vitreous cavity. Cellular capsules that lined the inner aspect of the scleral defect caused by tack insertion were found. However the adjacent retina had a normal cytologic appearance and architecture in all specimens. We manufactured a biodegradable retinal tack that is designed to prevent intrusion from implantation of retinal tacks. All biodegradable retinal tacks reduce in size with time, but no retinal tacks extruded from the inserted place. The newly designed biodegradable retinal tack can be used for retinal fixation and may be used as a vehicle for the introduction of pharmacologic agents to prevent the cellular events that promote proliferative vitreoretinopathy.
