The purpose of this study was to investigate jumping ability in order to establish proper methods of strength and power training for jumping as pertains to sports. Jumping in sports requires higher jumping in a short amount of time. Eight skilled female modern dancers were instructed to drop jump onto a force platform with both legs from four different heights(15,30,45,60cm). They were filmed from the side with a high speed camera (100fps). The power developed at the ankle, the knee and hip joints was computed by multiplying the moment of force by the joint angular velocity. Mechanical energy was absorbed by the eccentric contraction of the ankle and knee joint muscles during phase of downward movement. Mechanical energy absorption rate by eccentric contraction related to the knee joint muscle at high load intensity was relativly higher than low load intensity. It required the energy absorption by the eccentric contraction of knee joint muscles in order to reduce take off time in phase of downward movement. In push off phase, it projected the body into the air by the concentric contraction of ankle and knee joint muscles.

미생물 포괄 고정화방식을 이용한 수산물 가공공장 폐수처리

Feasibility of simultaneous removal of organic and nitrogen is evaluated as applying microbial entrapping method to treat fish processing wastewater. Treatability test is conducted immobilizing activated sludge from municipal sewage treatment plant to gel matrix made of cellulose triacetate. Stable operation can be possible when applying organic and nitrogen loading rate increasingly to wastewater treatment system composed of anoxic and oxic tank. Organic loading rate and nitrogen loading rate are applied 0.65-1.72kg COD/㎥/d and 0.119-0.317kg T-N/㎥/d, respectively. In case of wastewater from fish processing plant used in this study, it is evaluated that 0.3kg T- N/㎥/d is upper limit of applicable space loading rate because effluent T-N concentration is exceed 60mg/L, legal effluent dishargeable limit of T-N concentration in Korea, when space loading rate is exceed 0.3kg T-N/㎥/d. It is evaluated that nitrification of system is performed efficiently regardless fo variation of applied loading rate because removal efficiency of NH_(4)^(+)-N is relatively constant when the applied NH_(4)^(+)-N loading rate is increased gradually, while decrease of T-N removal efficiency is apparent when the applied loading rate is increased gradually. Nitrate removal efficiency in this study is varied from 98.62% to 99.51% depending on applied loading rate, while nitrification efficiency of oxic reactor is varied from 94.0% to 96.9%. It is showed that COD removal efficiency is varied from 94.2% to 96.6% and T-N removal efficiency is varied from 73.4% to 83.4% depending on loading rate applied in this study.

Automatic fatigue crack length measuring system using DC electrical potential method and the system control program for automatic fatigue testing under random load condition were made in this study. And using these system and control program, fatigue tests were executed under constant and random load condition. As the result, the propagation of crack in random loading can be represented Paris equation and log normal probability function. But, constant and random load test show different crack propagation properties.

주 생활 변화에 따른 평면유형에 관한 연구

공동주택은 실태조사를 통하여 거주자의 주생활변화나 다양성을 충분히 이해하고 설정 할만한 여건을 갖추지 못한 상황에서 질적 측면보다 양적 공급 확대를 우선시 하는 정책과 경제성 원리에 의해 몇가지 유형별로 패턴화된 평면형으로 공급되어 오고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 주거의 질적인 문제로, 대구시에 위치한 아파트 평면형을 대상으로 공간 구성과 디자인 형태에 따라 분류하고 고찰하여 다양하고 변화하는 주생활을 수용할 수 있는 평면계획을 세우는 기초자료로 사용하는데 의의가 있다. We have supplied patterned apartment unit plan based on the economical principles and policy that encourage increase of quantity without considering the variation and changes of housing life through survey of actual state. Therefore in quality of housing, we can find new unit plan that satisfies changeable and various housing life by classifying and investigating apartment unit plan located in Tae-gu according to spatial composition and architectural design

중립대 개념을 이용한 악안면보철물 제작 및 치험례

구강과 안면에 있어서의 손상은 저작, 연하, 발음 및 호흡 기능의 일부 혹은 전체에 심각한 영향을 미치며, 그 손상의 결과로서 시각, 촉각, 미각, 후각 및 청각이 심하게 손상 받을 수도 있다. 특히 외모가 중요시되는 우리 사회에서 구강악안면계의 손상은 개인의 인성 뿐만 아니라 사회적, 직업적 적응에도 심대한 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 구강악안면계의 손상을 가진 환자는 손상 수복의 기회가 주어져야만 한다. 중립대 이론 및 술식이 구강악안면계의 결손 수복 시 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 중립대 개념은 정상 환자에서의 보철 수복 시보다 구강악안면계의 결손을 가진 환자에서는 더욱 더 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 저자 등은 상악골에의 양성 종양에 의해 상악골 부분절제술을 시행받은 환자에 있어서 중립대 이론을 적용하여 정상적인 기능 및 심미성 회복을 위한 악안면 보철물 제작하였으며 환자로부터 만족스러운 평가를 얻었기에 그 이론적, 기술적 배경과 함께 1편의 증례를 보고하는 바이다. Disabilities of the oral and face may have a pronounced effect on any or all the functions of mastication, deglutition, speech, and respiration. In addition the senses of sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing may be compromised or lost as a result of an orofacial defonnity. In our society, where a pleasing facial appearance is so important, insults to the orofacial area may also have extensive effects on the personality of the indivisual, and on social and vocational adjustments. It is therefore imperative that individuals handicapped with orofacial disabilities be given the opportunity to be rehabilitated and permitted to take their rightful places in society. The application of the neutral zone principles and techniques can be utilized very effectively in the rehabilitation of individuals with orofacial deformities. The results of the neutral zone concepts are even more dramatic when applied to the compromised patients with an orofacial deformities than conventional edentulism. The authors made a maxillofacial prosthesis for the patient having partial maxillectomy due to benign tumor on the maxilla using the concept of neutral zone philosophy to rehabilitate normal function and esthetics.

공동주택의 단위공간 개선방안에 관한 연구

주거에 대한 우리의 인식이 바뀌어 가고 있다. 획일적으로 고정된 평면계획에 각 세대별 면적을 맞추려는 경향을 보이고 있어 이의 변화가 요구되어진다. 이러한 주된 요구를 적극적으로 계획에 반영하기 위해서는 거주자 개개인의 가치관이나 주생활 의식상의 차이를 고려할 때 주거의 사회적 의미를 고찰하고 달라진 주거문화 인식을 바탕으로 기존의 공동주택 단위공간 구성방식의 특성을 살펴보고 주된 요구와 시대변화에 대응할 수 있는 가변적인 주거구조에 대한 기초자료로 사용하는데 의의가 있다. According as the life style is becoming diversified, our conception of the house is changing, but until now we have used the fixed unit plan regardless of this trend. So the demand of the area suitable to the number of households is increasing, and the new mutable structure of the house is required to satisfy this needs. Through this study we have examined the definition of the house which is the social meaning when the occupant's view of point is considered and the structure of the apartment unit which has been handed down. Besides, the new restructure of the unit plan is represented to adapt to the changed recognition of housing. This study will be fundamental data to build the new dwelling space if it is helpful to improve the architectural skill which can be contributed to the more convenient our life than the previous days.

아파트단지 주차공급 및 수요예측에 관한 분석 : 용산지역을 중심으로

본 연구는 아파트단지 주차공급 및 수요를 조사·분석하여 이를 주차장 설치기준의 기초자료로 활용하는데 있다. 조사대상은 용산지역 아파트 단위세대 규모에 따라 A·B·C그룹별로 추출한 조사·분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, A그룹 아파트 평균 주차수요율은 1.1대, 주차공급은 세대당 평균 0.8주차면. 주차수요 의 75%수준으로 분석되었다. 둘째, B그룹 아파트 평균 주차수요율은 1.1대, 주차공급은 세대당 평균 0.9주차면, 주차수요의 88%수준으로 A그룹 아파트보다 주차공간문제는 적다고 분석되었다. 셋째, C그룹 아파트 평균 주차수요율은 1.4대, 주차공급은 세대당 평균 1.3주차면, 주차수요 의 96%수준으로 A·B그룹 아파트보다 주차공간문제는 적다고 분석되었다. 넷째, 아파트 차량보유대수와 상관도가 높은 세대수와 단순회귀분석한 결과 A그룹 아파트에서의 세대당 필요한 주차면수는 1.2면, C그룹 아파트는 세대당 1.7면. B그룹 아파트는 세대당 0.9면으로 분석되었다. The Purpose of this study is to survey sample apartment in yongsandong by classifying based on scale of apartment (A·B·C group), to investigate current parking demand and supply and to use these analyzed results for planning apartment parking lots. The findings of this study are as follows: First, The Parking demand of A group apartments shows 1.1 spaces per unit, the parking supply of small size apartments shows 0.8 space per unit and the 75 percent of parking supply. Second, The Parking demand of B group apartments shows 1.1 spaces per unit, the parking supply of small size apartments shows 0.9 space per unit and the 88 percent of parking supply. Third, The Parking demand of C group apartments shows 1.4 spaces per unit, the parking supply of small size apartments shows 1.3 space per unit and the 96 percent of parking supply. Fourth, The results of regression analysis between unit size and vehicles/unit are that the parking space of A group apartments needs 1.2 spaces per unit. the parking space of B group apartments needs 0.9 spaces per unit and the parking space of C group apartments needs 1.7 spaces per unit.

1998-1999년 절기에 부산지역에서 유행한 인플루엔자 바이러스의 분리

Investigate the epidemics for influenza outbreaks. The outbreak pattern of the internal and external patients housed in the 10 designated hospitals was monitered to investigated and the characteristics of the virus isolates are as follows. 232 strains of influenza virus was isolated from the oral specimen of 1,320 respiratory disease patients in Pusan from Oct. 1998 to Jun. 1999. Among these isolates, 222 strains were A-type and the rest were B-type. The outbreak pattern for sex-and age-group is as follows. The male outbreak was similar to the female outbreak: male outbreak, 47.4% and female outbreak, 52.5%. Most of the patients were less than 10 years old. The monthly influenza outbreak was consistent from Dec. 1998 to Apr. 1999. and The 113 strains from the A-type isolates were A/Sydney/05/97(H3N2)-like, the 109 strains were A/Beijing/262/95(H1N1)-like, and all of the 10 B-type isolates were B/Harbin/07/94-like.

"King Lear"에 나타난 복식 이미져리 硏究

The aim of this article is to make a better stage costume by reviewing and analyzing that of King Lear by Adrian Noble with applying clothing imagery to this play. In a way of research, the clothing imagery is to be studied at first, and then, with it being compared the clothes actually worn by Adrian Noble. The clothes in King Lear represent the values of society, of status quo, of an socially conceived external morality, while nakedness is the traditional image of unadorned truth. The madness of King Lear and the lost of throne is shown in nakedness by taking off King's clothes one by one. In Edar's case, the process of restoring his positions and regaining his identity was revealed in taking a better clothes. The rise of status in Edmund was symbolized by changing from commons to more gorgeous clothes. The stage costume of King Lear at Stratford in 1993 is limited in use of ornaments and colors, and transformed into a very simple one, and also designed to easily understand the personal relationship by attaching main colors to similar personality group. In the early part, the costume of Lear was changed from formal suits of shirts, veste and trousers and coat to shirts, veste and trousers, and he was falled into a distressful mental state with his button of veste opened, and thereby he was in wearing only shirts and trousers by stripping veste. Eventually Lear go in madness by being decorated with weeds with buttons of shirts opened. This corresponds with thr dramatic meaning that Lear gains his mental awareness while undergoing materialistic loss. The clothes of Edgar was formal suits of shirts, trousers, veste and coat as he was a noble, and he was in a state of wearing only branket when disguised as a poor Tom. When disguised as a farmer he was wearing only ragged trousers and long shirts and was same in clothes as a knight. This seems that the process of wearing a clothes of knight was treated as suggestive and abridged in showing the play. The clothing imagery of King Lear by Adrian Noble showed simple and modern styled clothes, contrasted with that of Shakespearean period. And it corresponds with the dramatic meaning basically. This play also shows a production technique that was planed to express the suggestive imagery without change of clothes by a abridged production technique and therby deliver the intention of Shakespeare to the spectators.

현삼의 성분에 관한 연구

Scrophularia buergeriana Miguel(Scrophulariaceae) is a perennial herb growing in all parts of Korea. It has been used as a Korean folk medicine in treating guttural diseases acting as an antiphlogistics, antipyretics and analgesics. Phytosterol was isolated from the radix of this plant and identified to be a mixture of stigmasteril, fucosterol, campesteril, β- and γ- sitosterol on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic methods.
