당뇨병환자에서 뇨증 Fibronectin농도의 증가에 관한 연구

Plasma fibronectin is an α₂-glyoprotein, which is produced by vascular endothelial cells. Raised level of plasma fibronectin has been observed in diabetic patients particularly in the presence of microvascular complications. However, no available data exist about urine level of this glycoprotein in diabetic patients. We measured urine fibronectin level by ELISA methods in 54 diabetic patients who have microvascular comlications or not. The following results were obtained. 1) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) in diabetic group(1740.0±678.0) is increased compaired with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0). but this results were not significantly different among two groups(P>0.05). 2) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) was significantly increased in patients with nephropathy (6188.0±3144.0) compared with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0) and patients without nephropathy(645.0±251.0)(P<0.001). 3) There were a significant correlation between BUN, creatinine, creatinine clearance, 24hr urine total protein and urine fibronectin level in diabetic patients. Our data suggest that urine fibronectin excretion level might be used as a sensitive guide for diabectic nephropathy.
목재펠릿과 주택용 목재펠릿보일러의 품질기준에 관한 국내외 비교연구

Wood pellets, a representative bioenergy source, are actively used world widely. Wood pellets made in the domestic volume were around 0.65 million tons in 2021 and the scale was generally grow- ing up, which implies that South Korea’s wood pellet processing technology has reached a significant level. To guarantee a reasonable supply of wood pellet fuels as carbon-neutral sources, quality standards for related products and combustion equipment standards must be clearly established. In line with this, the authors compared major changes in domestic wood pellet quality standards with ISO standards. South Korea's wood pellet quality standards policy has undergone various changes over a period of a decade and has been improved to an equivalent level to the internationally. In addition, it was confirmed that the ‘Clean Air Conversion Act’ to be discharged for biomass-using facilities such as wood pellets have been gradually strengthened as the times change. Also comparing domestic and foreign quality standards based on small-scale combustion equipment which is using wood pellets as fuel, the authors found that domestic standards need to make improvements to meet the EU's combustor emission gas quality stan- dard level.

Vehicle Monitoring System which can efficiently control and manage the resources like vehicles, cargos and services is required in many transportation related areas like ITS /IVHS. GPS or DGPS is widely used in determining the vehicle location in service. DGPS can glove more accurate position than GPS, but it needs an additional wireless communication link for DGPS correction reception from the DGPS reference station. But, in some applications lire tall or truck monitoring system, the user doesn't need to know the his accurate position. The DGPS correction can be performed in the monitoring station based on the informations from the GPS receiver in the user vehicle and then the monitor station can locate vehicle position accurately like conventional DGPS. For this case an additional communication link for DGPS RTCM is not necessary. This method is called inverted DGPS. In this paper we develop an IDGPS system algorithm and implement it using wireless data modem network and digital map. Test results show its effectiveness. The objective of this work is to integrate reliability analysis into topology optimization problems. The reliability index determines design domain and uncertainty value. The elemental sensitivity numbers are calculated from finite element analysis and then converted to the nodal sensitivity numbers in the design domain. A mesh-independency filter using nodal variables is introduced to determine the addition of elements and eliminate unnecessary structural details below a certain length scale in the design. To further enhance the convergence of the optimization process, the accuracy of elemental sensitivity numbers is improved by its historical information. Application of the RBTO model gives a different topology relative to DTO. It is found that the RBTO model yields more reliable optimal topologies than those produced by DTO.

This paper presents a reliability-based topology optimization (RBTO) using bi-directional evolutionary structural optimization (BESO). Topology optimization is formulated as volume minimization problem with probabilistic displacement constraint. Young's modulus, external load and thickness are considered as uncertain variables. In order to compute reliability index, four methods, i.e., RIA, PMA, SLSV and ADL(adaptive-loop), are used. Reliability-based topology optimization design process is conducted to obtain optimal topology satisfying displacement and reliability index constraints with the above four methods, and then each result is compared with respect to numerical stability and computing time.
플라즈마 산화 처리된 65/35황동의 산소 분압별 부식특성에 관한 연구

Brasses are the most widely used copper-based alloys because of the good corrosion resistance, formability, high strength and excellent hot-working properties. However, dezincification occurs when one or more components of an alloy are more susceptible to corrosion than the rest and, as a result, are preferentially dissolved. In order to enhance the corrosion resistance, the oxide film was deposited on the 65/35 brass by pulsed dc plasma oxidation with various pressure. The corrosion behavior of plasma oxidized brasses with various oxygen pressure was investigated by electrochemical methods (potentiodynamic polarization test, potentiostatic test, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) and surface analyses (x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, auger electron spectroscopy, electron probe micro analyzer). Particular attention was paid to the effects of oxygen pressure and oxide thickness on the coating properties related to the corrosion behavior. From the results of electrochemical test, it was found that the oxidized brass under condition of 1.5 Torr oxygen pressure was effective in improving corrosion resistance. It was attributed to the protective oxidized layer (ZnO). Finally, an optimized oxidation condition for corrosion protection was found to be 1.5 Torr oxygen pressure and 1 pun thickness. Cu-6Ni-4Sn 합금에서 Cr 첨가에 따른 전기화학적 특성에 관한 연구

Corrosion characteristics of Cu-6%Ni-4%Sn-x%Cr alloys in a acid-chloride solution (0.1M H₂SO₄+ 0.0056M NaCl) at pH = 6, were studied as a function of chromium addition. Three kinds of Cu-6%Ni-4%Sn-x%Cr alloys were prepared by melting, and casting, followed by thermomechanical treatments. The corrosion behavior of Cu-6%Ni-4%Sn-x%Cr alloys was investigated by electrochemical corrosion tests (potentiodynamic polarization test, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) and surface analyses (optical microscopy, electron probe micro analysis, scanning electron microscopy). Cr additions were found to prevent the localized corrosion behavior. This is the reason that the small addition of Cr promoted the decomposition behaviors of the supersaturated solid solution a in Cu-6%Ni-4%Sn alloy, i.e., the number of like-Sn-rich carbide impurities (LCI), which increased the galvanic effect between the matrix and the LCI, decreased with increasing the Cr addition. The Delta-Modulation(DM) techniques have been used up to now for both UPS and AC motor drives, which have the advantages of simple circuit, fast response, and insensitivity to load variation and other disturbances. In this paper, the DM techniques are adopted to obtain PWM control signals for active power filters. In the design of delta modluator, the decision of break frequency is the most important, particularly for active power filter application. Both digital simulation and simple experiment are performed to investigate the characteristics of the delta modulator proposed.
