        일차 양측성 구순열의 일단계 재건에 대한 증례보고

        Bilateral cleft lip reconstruction can be performed in one-or two-stages. The choice depends on the surgeon's proficiency and experience. However the type and severity of the cleft must be considered. Complete or incomplete symmetric, bilateral clefts in which the premaxilla is within the alveolar arch or slightly protruded can be successfully treated with simultaneous lip reconstruction on both sides. There are some advantages that one-stage lip reconstruction facilitates creation of a symmetric and balanced lip, retraction of protruding premaxilla and the parent's psychologic satisfaction. However, there are some disadvantages such as micrognathia of the upper jaw by severe scar formation and poor adaptation of flap margins by severe tension. The surgeon must be able to judge and exploit the advantages offered by one-stage approach. We present the case report of one-stage reconstruction of primary bilateral cleft lip with literature reviews.

      • 액체크로마토그래피/질량분석법을 이용한 랫트 혈장내의 Surfactin C의 정량법에 관한 연구

        Surfactin isolated from Bacillus subtilis has a strong surface tension-lowering activity, together with antiviral, antitumor, fibrinolytic and hypocholesterolemic activities. LC/MS is a simple, rapid and effective technique for the determination of surfactin C in rat serum. The separation of surfactin was achieved on reverse phase column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.1% trifluoracetic acid in water (A) and acetonitrile (B). As a result of analysis of blank rat serum samples, matrix interference was not shown. The values of precision and accuracy were satisfied w the guideline. A newly developed LC/MS method for the determination of surfactin C was successfully applied in its pharmacokinetic analysis.

        폐슬러지 감량화 및 재활용을 위한 오존 처리시 하수슬러지내의 미생물 군집구조의 변화

        The change of the microbial community structure in excess sludge of different sewage treatment plants by ozone treatment was investigated by quinone profiles. The resulting ozone dosage ranged from 0.1 to 0.4 gO₃/gTS. In terms of overall sludge reduction, more than 50% reduction of the total sludge mass could be achieved by ozone treatment at 0.4 gO₃/gTS. Quinone concentration and type in sludge of different treatment plants were remarkably decreases with increasing ozone dose. Ubiquinones(UQs)-8, -10 and MK-8 were still remained in the ozonized sludge at 0.4 gO₃/gTS. The results of this study showed that the remaining microorganisms belong to UQs-8, -10 and MK-8 were difficult to destruct cell membrane or wall by ozonation. Fecal Streptococci and Salmonella were not detected at ozone dose of 0.2 gO₃/gTS, but Fecal Colifom was not detected at ozone dose of 0.4 gO₃/gTS.

      • 胎盤組織 膜結合 Adenosine Deaminase의 可溶化 및 性狀의 究明

        Adenosine deaminase is solubilized with Triton X-100 from purified plasma membrane of human placenta and prtially purified 11-fold by combination of sephacryl S-300 and DEAE-sephadex A-25 column chromatography, and then its properties have been investi gated. The enzyme shows a broad pH optimum from 6 to 8, and heat labile, being completely inactivated by heat treatment at 70℃ for 10 minutes. The enzyme is inhibited to 18% by 2 mM Cu^2+ and to 50% by almost mineral ions and the inhibitory effect of Cu^2+ is recovered by 4 mM EDTA to 50%. The apparent Michaelis constant of the enzyme for adenosine is 8×10 exp(-5) M and for deoxyadenosine is 3.8×10 exp(-5) M. Kinetic analysis of the enzyme in the presence of 0.05 mM Cu^2+ shows that the nature of the inhibition is noncompetitive, considering that Km is independant while Vmax is decreased. The molecular weight of the enzyme is about 1,500,000. From the above results, the possibility that the soluble adenosine deaminase of placenta anchored to the plasma membrane through adenosine deaminase binding protein is discussed.

      • 下水의 土地注入에 關한 硏究

        The objective of this study is to evaluate the land application of wastewater, which is applicable to small community without sewer systems. The laboratory units were consist of two-stage septic tanks, soil absorption systems and sois columns. Two-stage septic tanks were operated to evaluate pretreatment methods of soil absorption systems and soil column test was designed to examine the effect of hydraulic loading rates, organic loading rates and soil depths on the efficiencies of soil absorption systems. If land is available, land application of wastewater is a cost effective method in terms of construction and maintenance cost with high organics and nutrients removal efficiencies.

      • Stretch-Shorening Cycle이 ArmCurl 동작에 미치는 영향

        In this research, We were selected 10 students from Physical Education at the H University in Seoul through random sampling and by group they had no physical defects. We were compared them mutually through mechanical analysis according to muscular contraction type in the stretch-shortening cycle and shortening-stretch cycle in concentric and eccentric contractions. To investigate their differences, We were performed armcurl motion analysis. As a result, We were derived conclusions as follows. As for the maximum momentum of total segments that is a kinetic variable, that of SSC was higher by DM 0.06kg · m/sec. and by DM 0.97J in the mechanical energy of the total segments; and by DM 22.20N at the maximum power than that of CC. In the analysis of integral electromyography that is avariable of analysis of electromyography, the integral electromyography of biceps brachii muscle increased by DM 0.0240mv · s in the case of the SSC motion than when in the CC motion. There was no difference in the triceps brachii muscle. On the basis of this conclusion, We consider that the stretch-shortening cycle can affect many parts in the movement of the body. Through the results of the analysis of the armcurl motion, we can see that the stretch-shortening cycle is able to put out its strength by using elastic energy accumulated at the time of concentric contractions after accumulating elastic energy through pre-stretching before concentric contractions. Furthermore, since it puts out much more power 'in utilizing muscles compared to simple concentric contractions, We think the training method such as plyometric training can develop more power than previous training methods.

      • 경사도 변화에 따른 트레드밀 역보행의 운동학적 분석

        The purpose of this study is to understand special features of back ward walking through 3-dimensional kinematic analysis of backward walking inconsideration of treadmill gradient in 10 male university students in the in twenties and to provide the information required for deciding workload or for preventing injuries. In this stuidy, the walking speed of the treadmill was set at 3.Okm/h and the gradient of the treadmill was set at 0°, 5° and 10°. the APAS were used for the collection of image data and analysis. and one-way ANOVA was used to analyze the differences according to gradients. As there analysis and result show, The first, cadence at 0° was higher than at 5° and 10° The second, support time at 5° was longer than that of 0° and 10°The third, ankle joint displacement became generally low as gradient increased. The fourth, in the knee joint, displacement became higher as gradient increased in the early stage of backward walking. ; however, there was no difference at the later stage. Lastly, no angle displacement of hip joints showed in back ward walking. The study suggests that it will be more desirable to analyze kinetic variables on the backward walking. Therefore it needs the following study for the factor like that continuously.

        단기교육으로 시행가능한 심실기능평가법

        Background: The initial history, physical examination, and ECG assessment should focus on identification of potentially serious noncardiac or cardiac disorders, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and electrical instability at the emergency room. additionally, it is essential to define disease severity, stability and need for emergency therapy. echocardiography is a useful tool for this purpose. especially Doppler echocardiography may be more sensitive and time-saving diagnostic tool for the evaluation of patients presenting with cardiogenic symptoms. So we evaluate the feasibility of the echocardiographic measurement by emergency physicain after short-term course. Method and Results: Twenty volunteers(10 male, 38.8±9.3 years) were included in the study for measurement of myocardial performance index and established parameters of ventricular function using conventional echo-Doppler methods. Myocardial performance index: (ICT+IRT)/ET, was obtained by subtracting ejection time(ET) from the interval between cessation and onset of the mitral inflow velocity to give the sum of isovolumic contraction time(ICT) and isovolumic relaxation time(IRT). The most of mean values of echocardiogrphic parameters were not significantly different between those of cardiologist and those of emergency physicians(p<0.01). The duration for measuring myocardial performance index was shortest among echocardiographic parameters. the validity of echocardiographic parameters measured by emergency physicians was proved relatively good. Conclusion: It is proved to be feasible for emergency physician to perform echocardiographic evaluation of ventricular function after short-term course
