This research has analyzed factors affecting customers` satisfaction when they use parking lots of big retailers so that, in case of constructing, operating or managing such retailers, proper measures can be come up with. The analysis has been implemented on the basis of survey, and influence factors including entry/exit lamp, parking cars`` traffic flow, parking type, pedestrians`` movement after parking and safety. Parking lot users`` satisfaction has been analyzed by using the Structural Equation Modelling and, as a result of it, in case of a detached or single building, pedestrians movement flow after parking contributed the most to the users`` satisfaction, while, in case of multipurpose complex, parking cars traffic flow has the most influential factor. It is interpreted that users of a single building put a bigger emphasis on entry to the shop and their way back to the parked area after their shopping while customers of multipurpose complex might have various purposes of visiting the place and there are relatively more cars so that they put more emphasis on traffic counterflow, other cars and pedestrians.

The aim of this study was to establish the physiologicallybased pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model of fl urbiprofenrelated to CYP2C9 genetic polymorphism anddescribe the pharmacokinetics of fl urbiprofen in diff erentCYP2C9 genotypes. PK-Sim® software was used for themodel development and validation. A total of 16 clinicalpharmacokinetic data for fl urbiprofen in diff erent CYP2C9genotypes, dose regimens, and age groups were used for thePBPK modeling. Turnover number (k cat ) of CYP2C9 valueswere optimized to capture the observed profi les in diff erentCYP2C9 genotypes. In the simulation, predicted fractionmetabolized by CYP2C9, fraction excreted to urine, bioavailability, and volume of distribution were similar to previouslyreported values. Predicted plasma concentration-timeprofi les in diff erent CYP2C9 genotypes were visually similarto the observed profi les. Predicted AUC inf in CYP2C9*1/*2 ,CYP2C9*1/*3 , and CYP2C9*3/*3 genotypes were 1.44-,2.05-, and 3.67-fold higher than the CYP2C9*1/*1 genotype. The ranges of fold errors for AUC inf , C max , and t 1/2 were 0.84–1.00, 0.61–1.22, and 0.74–0.94 in development and0.59–0.98, 0.52–0.97, and 0.61–1.52 in validation, respectively, which were within the acceptance criterion. Thus, thePBPK model was successfully established and described thepharmacokinetics of fl urbiprofen in diff erent CYP2C9 genotypes, dose regimens, and age groups. The present modelcould guide the decision-making of tailored drug administrationstrategy by predicting the pharmacokinetics of fl urbiprofenin various clinical scenarios.

Grifola frondosa (GF), distributed widely in far east Asia including Korea, is popularly used as traditional medicines and health supplementary foods, especially for enhancing the immune functions of the body. To extend the application of GF polysaccharides (GFP) for atopic dermatitis (AD), we investigated the effects of GFP on the 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene-induced AD-like skin lesion in NC/Nga mice. GFP treatment significantly reduced the dorsa skin dermatitis score and combination treatment with GFP, and dexamethasone has a synergistic effect in AD-like skin lesion by reduced Serum IgE, mast cells infiltration, and cytokines expression. These results indicate that GFP suppressed the AD-like skin lesions by controlling the Th-1/Th-2-type cytokines in NC/Nga mice. These findings strongly suggest that GFP can be useful for AD patients as a novel therapeutic agent and might be used for corticosteroids replacement or supplement agent.

Direct Organocatalytic Regioselective α-Hydroxyamination of α-Branched Aldehydes
Sung-Gon Kim*,Eun Ju Ahn,Tae-Ho Park 대한화학회 2007 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.28 No.10
A direct regioselective a-hydroxyamination of a-branched aldehydes with nitrosobenzene using cis-5-benzyl-proline as catalyst has been developed for the preparation of a-hydroxyamino aldehydes possessing a quaternary carbon center. Such compounds are versatile building blocks for the synthesis of quaternary a-amino acids, b-amino alcohols, and 1,2-diamines.

Abstract

Carbon corrosion due to high voltages encountered during the operation of fuel cells and the accompanying deterioration of cell performance are among the main issues affecting the durability of fuel cells. In this study, the carbon-corrosion durability of membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) fabricated with Pt/CNF and Pt/C catalysts is studied using an accelerated stress test (AST) while applying high potentials. We compare the cell performance for the same degree of carbon corrosion, and the two MEAs show almost the same degradation behavior at the early stage of carbon corrosion. However, as the degree of carbon corrosion is increased, the performance-decay behavior of the two MEAs differs significantly, with there being a more serious performance decay in Pt/C than Pt/CNF, even at the same degree of carbon corrosion. The different behavior of the performance degradation between the two MEAs is due to the different catalyst layer structure, which results from the different catalyst-support morphologies between the three-dimensional (3D) high-structure Vulcan carbon (VC) and the one-dimensional (1D) structure of platelet carbon nanofibers (PCNFs). The support structure-dependent performance-degradation characteristic is analyzed in a single cell by performing an electrochemical analysis of the kinetic resistance, ohmic resistance, and diffusion resistance. In addition, the characterization of the catalyst layer structure before and after the deterioration is performed to understand the deactivation mechanism. This study is expected to provide a design strategy from a structural perspective of carbon support for the development of highly durable MEAs.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]

We present deep wide-field optical CCD photometry and mid-infrared Spitzer/IRAC and MIPS 24 mu m data for about 100,000 stars in the young open cluster IC 1805. The members of IC 1805 were selected from their location in the various color-color and color-magnitude diagrams, and the presence of H alpha emission, mid-infrared excess emission, and X-ray emission. The reddening law toward IC 1805 is nearly normal (R-V = 3.05 +/- 0.06). However, the distance modulus of the cluster is estimated to be 11.9 +/- 0.2 mag (d = 2.4 +/- 0.2 kpc) from the reddening-free color-magnitude diagrams, which is larger than the distance to the nearby massive star-forming region W3(OH) measured from the radio VLBA astrometry. We also determined the age of IC 1805 (tau(MSTO) = 3.5 Myr). In addition, we critically compared the age and mass scale from two pre-main-sequence evolution models. The initial mass function with a Salpeter-type slope of Gamma = -1.3 +/- 0.2 was obtained and the total mass of IC 1805 was estimated to be about 2700 +/- 200 M-circle dot. Finally, we found our distance determination to be statistically consistent with the Tycho-Gaia Astrometric Solution Data Release 1, within the errors. The proper motion of the B-type stars shows an elongated distribution along the Galactic plane, which could be explained by some of the B-type stars being formed in small clouds dispersed by previous episodes of star formation or supernova explosions.
