        조선시대 전주이씨 장천군파(長川君派)의 잡과 진출

        전주이씨 하면 일반적으로 조선의 왕실, 그리고 핵심적인 양반 성관(姓貫)으로 널리 알려져 있다. 하지만 성씨만 보고서 양반으로 분류해버리는 것은 심각한 오류에 빠질 수 있다. 전주이씨 가계 가운데서도, 구체적으로 사료를 검토해보면 일반적으로 중인들이 응시했던 잡과에도 응시해 합격자들이 나오고 있기 때문이다. 이 글에서는 전주이씨 가계의 잡과 합격 현황을 살펴본 다음, 잡과에 진출한 전주이씨 집안에 대하여 주목하고자 한다. 구체적인 사례로서 제2대 임금 정종(定宗)의 제13남 장천군파(長川君派) 이택기 가계를 중심으로 살펴보았다. 잡과에 합격했다는 것은 기술관으로서의 입지를 보장해줄 뿐만 아니라, 고위직 기술관으로 진출할 수 있는 관직의 길을 담보해주는 것이었기 때문이다. 이 같은 검토를 통해서, 같은 성관이라 할지라도 파(派)를 달리하면 그 후손들의 신분과 위상이 미묘하게 달라지게 되었다는 것, 그리고 그것이 왕실의 후손들 가문에서 잡과에 진출해 잡과중인 가계를 형성하게 되는 계기가 되었다는 것을 밝혀낼 수 있었다. 뿐만 아니라 잡과중인 형성 과정에서 전주이씨 가계가 어떤 비중과 위상을 차지하고 있었는지, 그리고 조선 왕실 후손들이 잡과시험을 통해 잡과중인 집안으로 변모하여 생존했다는 것도 알 수 있었다. 그렇기 때문에 조선시대, 특히 후기의 경우, 성관만으로 신분, 양반과 중인 등을 단정지울 수는 없는 것이다. 같은 성관이라 하더라도 파(派)에 따라서 후손들의 신분과 위상이 미묘하게 달라지기도 했기 때문이다. 임진왜란 이후의 사회적 신분과 사회변동에 대해서는 구체적인 사례 연구와 더불어 다양한 측면에서 입체적으로 분석, 확인하는 작업이 필요하다. Jeonju LEE is known as the surname of the royal family and a prominent Yangban class of the Choson Dynasty. However, not all Jeonju Lee’s were Yangbans. After careful examination of historical literature, this report was able identify that even within the in Jeonju LEE family, there were Chungin’s(中人) who successfully passed the Chapkwa(雜科)-proving that it is erroneous to conclude one’s social status with one’s surname. This paper focuses on the Jeonju Lee family that took the Chapkwa. Specifically, this paper investigates Lee Taeg-ki, the 13th son of the King Jung-jong, and his family. Lee Taeg-ki was an official Chinese translator adalso Jangcheongun-pa(長川君派). Passing Chapkwa guarantees not only a position as a government techno-official, but also the route for a high ranking official. This study proves that even family members with the same surname had different social standing and status. Additionally, this paper found the status and importance of Jeonju Lee family in the process of forming Chapkwa-Chungin(雜科中人) and how they survived by becoming a Chapkwa-Chungin family. It is impossible to assume/conclude one’s class(Yangban, Chungin) by one’s surname in the late Choson Dynasty, because social status and social standing of descendants were differentiated by Pa(派). Therefore, in order to truly understand the social standing and social change in late Choson Dynasty, one needs to conduct specific case studies in diverse angles and spectrums.

        가평 전주이씨묘 출토복식 고찰

        In 1995, the costumes were restored in an unknown woman's tomb at the Jeonju Lee's family cemetery in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do, and there are currently nine items remaining. In this study, we first introduced these 9 relics to academia and analyzed the morphological characteristics of the costumes. We also estimated the time and person of burial compared with costumes unearthed from other burials. Jeogories (short jacket) are all four items. One of these items was unusual in shape, and the upper part of the seop (gusset) was wrinkled and shaped. This type of Jeogori appears only till the 1520s in other tombs. There are also two skirts, one of which is characterized by a superimposed pattern. The top and bottom / middle part of the skirt were rolled up, and the skirt, which was double-rolled up in this way, was first discovered. An analysis of the shape of Jeogori and skirt indicated that the person buried in the Jeonju Lee's family tomb was believed to have survived until the early 16th century. Based on these estimated periods, as a result of looking at the genealogy of Jeonju Lee's family, it was concluded that the tomb was probably a woman named Lee Geum Myeong (李金命) born in the mid-15C and died between the late 15C and the early 16C.

        Skewed slab bridge have designed a width beam, stress of skewed slab bridge is quite different in according with skew and width /length. Especially in case that we analyse skewed slab bridge as a width beam, stress of right angle direction against axis of bridge is not analysed. In this study we will present the stress of transverse axis to longitudinal axis of bridge according to skew and width/length.

        Objectives : Cinnamomi Ramulus (CR), the young twing of Cinnamomi loureirii nees, has been used for treating symptoms related to pain. rheumatic arthritis and inflammation in Korean herb medicine. This study was carried out to investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of CR in vivo and in vitro. Methods : Extracts of CR were prepared and the chemical components of the extracts were examined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The extracts were administrated to the rat paw edema model induced by carrageenan to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effect of CR. The expressions of nitric oxide (NO). prostaglandin E2(PGE2), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 were also quantified in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW 264.7 macrophages to survey the effect of CR in vitro. The main components were cinnamaldechyde and coumarin. Results : We examined the anti-inflammatory activity of the 80% ethanol extract of Cinnamomi Ramulus in vivo by using carrageenan-induced rat paw edema model. Maximum inhibition of 54.9% was noted at the dose of 1000㎎/㎏ after 2 hours of drug administration in carrageenan-induced rat paw edema and this showed a potent anti-inflammatory effect. Conclusions : The results showed that Cinnamomi Ramulus suppressed dose-dependently LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophages and also decreased iNOS protein expression. Cinnamomi Ramulus also showed a significant inhibitory effect in LPS-induced PGE2 production and COX-2 expression.

        There exists a major impediment to learning electricity which may illuminate why direct presentation of scientists' ideas is too aggressive a strategy. This impediment lies in thinking that electricity is used up and in envisaging the light bulb as a consumer. This view is based on a powerful idea which summarises much of our experience; it declares that 'things get used up', 'you cannot get something for nothing', and 'intuitive thinking'. To replace this view with scientific view, we made the analogy model. It is suggested that the analogy model is more effective in teaching electricity circuits than conventional teaching method.

        라오스의 벼 생산 현황과 문제점

        Rice is the single most important crop in Lao PDR. In the 2000 rice production year, total rice production in the Laos reached 2.2 million tons. This is regarded as sufficient to provide national self-sufficiency. The rice harvested area in 2000 was approximately 719,500ha and represented 80% of cropped land area. Approximately 82% of production was from wet season cropped and 18% was from the irrigated dry season. Grain yield per unit area vary from 1.68 to 4.39 ton/ha in the wet season environment. However, the highest grain yield (4.39 ton/ha) obtained from the dry season irrigated crop. Higher yields and reduced year variation in production can be expected with the further intensification of production systems in the low land environments. However, further imporvements in production will be dependent on higher levels of inputs and further alleviation of some the production constraints.

        미토콘드리아 DNA 염기서열 분석법에 의한 가족관계의 규명

        The human mitochondrial DNA has two characteristics that make it possible to identify individuals and establish family relationships. First, it is haploid, being exhibited only maternal inheritance. Second, it is highly variable on the hypervariable control region of mitochondrial DNA. Taking advantage of two characteristics of mitochondrial DNA, individual relationships in dispute were identified by combining PCR amplification with direct mitochondrial DNA sequencing. Two persons who alleged the same maternal lineage were identical on the mitochondrial DNA sequences from 15,960 to 16,569 and from 1 to 533. Other two persons were identical on the mitochondrial DNA sequences from 16221 to 16390 each other. However, seven bases are different on the sequences from 16221 to 16390 between two groups,. Even though four persons are kinship, these results suggest that they should come from two different maternal lineage.

        韓國人의 HLA DQA1 遺傳座位에 대한 集團 遺傳學的 特性

        Using reverse dot blotting technique, genotype of HLA DQAl locus have been determined from 142 unrelated Korean individuals. Twenty genotypes were found from possible twenty one genotypes - the missing one was A2/A2 that had lowest expected frequency. All of known 6 alleles were found with each of its frequency being 15.1% for A1. 1, 16.6%for A1.2, 12.7% for A1.3, 11.6% for A2, 25.7% for A3 and 18.3% for A4. After X?-test(p>0.1), G-test(p>0.05), and by comparision of expected (0.82) and observed heterozygosity(0.81), the population was confirmed to be on the state of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The gene diversity(0.82) of Korean population, which generally thought to be a group of single unity, actually was higher than that of most other populations. The pattern of alelic distribution was different from that of other populations, especially allele A1.3 which displayed heterogeneity between other goups with significance(p<0.01), as it turned out to have anthropological significance. After all, this HLA DQA1 system, even though its small number of alleles, having high degree of heterozygosity, was proven to be effective in individual identification, and paternity testing in Koean population.
