Solvent extraction experiments of FeCl_(3) with Alamine336 salt were performed. It was found from the oading capacity of Alamine336 salt that the solvent extraction reaction depended on the ratio of initial concentration of Alamine336 to FeCl_(3). When the concentration of Alamine336 was in excess compared to that of FeCl_(3), alamine336 participated in the extraction reaction as a dimer. When the initial concentration ratio of Alamine336 to FeCl_(3) was below three, ferric chloride was extracted by monomeric Alamine336. The equilibrium constants of solvent extraction, K_(ex)-2.22×10^(4) and K_(ex)=6.41×10^(5) for monomeric and dimeric Alamine336 respectively, were determined from extraction data by considering activity coefficient of solutes in the aqueous phase. The predicted distribution coefficients of iron agreed well with those experimentally measured.

The treatment of the tone defects resulting from trauma, neoplasm, surgery, or infection is one of the major concern in dentistry. The major goal is the functional, esthetical regeneration of supporting structures already destructed by disease. Transplantation technique have been used to provide a scaffold for bone regeneration, to augment bony defects resulting from trauma or surgery, to restore bone loss caused by dental disease, to prevent the collapse the alveolar ridge in recent extraction sites, to replace bone loss by periodontal disease, to augment the alveolar ridge in implant surgery. There are autogeneous, allogenic, xenogenic and alloplastic bone-grafts in transplantation. Among the alloplastic bone-graft materials, calcium phosphates have been received the most attention. In this study, the critical size defects were surgically produced in the calvarial bone of Sprague-Dawley rats using the 8 ㎜ trephine bur. Calcium phosphate glass powders with mean diameter 400 ㎛ transplanted onto the produced detects in the experimental group, while sutured without grafting anything in the control group. Histomorphometric as well as radiodensitometric analyses were performed after sacrifice at 2, 4 and 8 weeks following operation. The prepared calcium phosphate glass powder with average size 400 ㎛ in CaO-CaF_2-P_2O_5-MgO-Al_2O_3 promoted new bone formation in the calvarial defects in the Sprague-Dawley rats. New bone was formed in the upper side of the detects as well as the defect margin and dura mater. Experimental group always exhibited higher values in the length, area and density of the newly formed bone than that of the control group. There were significant differences between the experimental and the control groups, except the density after 4 weeks (p<0.05).

The purpose of this study is to estimate wet deposition flux and to investigate wet deposition characteristics by using the ADOM model. Wet deposition flux of high reactive SO_2 is estimated by applying observed meteorological parameters and concentrations of chemical species to the ADOM model. Wet deposition is largely dependent on large scale precipitation and cloud thickness. Wet deposition flux of sulfate increases, but wet deposition flux of SO_2 is small. On the whole, the pattern of sulfate flux agrees with the typical pattern of sulfate wet deposition that is high in the summer(July) and low in the winter(January)
Cone beam형 전산화단층촬영법을 이용한 하악과두의 골변화에 관한 연구

Purpose : To assess bone changes of mandibular condyle using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in temporomandibular disorder (TMD) Patients. Materials and Methods : 314 temporomandibular joints (TMJs) images of 163 TMD patients were examined at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Chonbuk National University. The images were obtained by PSR9000N (Asahi Roentgen Co., Japan) and reconstructed by using Asahivision software (Asahi Roentgen Co.,Japan). The CBCT images were examined three times with four weeks interval by three radiologists. Bone changes of mandibular condyle such as flattening, sclerosis, erosion and osteophyte formation were observed in sagittal, axial, coronal and 3 dimensional images of the mandibular condyle. The statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 12.0. Intra-and interobserver agreement were performed by 3 radiologists without the knowledge of clinical information. Results : Osteophyte (2.9%) was found more frequently on anterior surface of the mandibular condyle. Erosion (31.8%) was found more frequently on anterior and medial surfaces of the mandibular condyle. The intraobserver agreement was good to excellent(k=0.78-0.84), but interobserver agreement was fair(k=0.45). Conclusion : CBCT can provide high qualified images of bone changes of the TMJ with axial, coronal and 3 dimensional images.
발효기 종류에 따른 Cordyceps militaris에 의한 생물고분자 생산

The effects of fermenter types on biopolymer production with Cordyceps militaris has been studied in this articles. Since the shear stresses of stirred tank ferementor and bubble column fermenter were different. the mycelium growth and biopolymer production were different, The mycerial growth was high with the bubble column fermenter for the early stage but biopolymer production was lower than that with stirred tank fermenter. The production of biopolymer was closely related to shear stress to the cells and biopolymer production was increased with increased shear stress.
수학연한에 따른 AMSP(American Montessori Society Program)의 적용 효과 : 유아의 창의성과 지능에 미치는 영향을 중심으로

본 연구는 AMSP가 유아의 창의성과 지능에 미치는 영향에 있어 수업연한에 따른 차이를 알아본 것으로, AMSP의 수업연한에 따라 구분된 1년차 집단, 2년차 집단, 3년차 집단 각 19명씩 만 5세 유아 총 57명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 전경원(2000)의 창의성 검사와 박혜원?곽금주?박광백(1996) 등이 개발한 한국형WPPSI(K-WPPIS)를 실시한 결과, AMSP의 수업연한이 높을수록 유아의 창의성과 지능발달에 전반적으로 더 큰 효과를 나타냈다. 이에 AMSP가 유아의 창의성과 지능발달을 돕는 하나의 효과적인 접근방안일 뿐만 아니라 유치원의 3년 교육기간에 AMSP를 제공받는 것이 유아의 창의성과 지능발달에 더 효과적임을 시사해준다고 하겠다. This study investigated the effects of AMSP(American Montessori Society) on young children's creativity and intelligence according to the learning term. The questions for research were as follows: 1. What is the effect of AMSP on young children's Creativity according to the learning term? 2. What is the effect of AMSP on young children's intelligence according to the learning term? The subjects of this study were 57 aged five-old children at H kindergarten in J. City. They were classified to three groups according to learning term of AMSP. The data were collected using the General Creativity Test for Children(Chon, kyoung-won, 2000), the Revised Korean Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (Park, kwang-bae 1995), and analysed by ANCOVA, the Scheffe test with SPSS 11.0 Program. The results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The longer the learning term was, the more AMSP improved young children's creativity significantly. The longer the learning term was, the more AMSP improved young children's creativity significantly. 2. The longer the learning term was, the more AMSP improved young children's intelligence significantly. The longer the learning term was, the more AMSP improved young children's intelligence significantly.

To simulate the sulfuric acid leaching solutions of zinc calcine, synthetic solutions with the composition of ZnSO_4-Fe_2(SO_4)_3-Na_2SO_4-H_2SO_4-NaOH-H_2O were prepared and solution pH was measured at the temperature of 25, 50 and 75℃. The effect of temperature on the ionic equilibria of these solutions was analyzed by considering chemical equilibria, mass balance and charge balance equations. Activity coefficients of solutes and activity of water were calculated by using Pitzer equation. The mole fractions of iron containing species were greatly affected by solution temperature and the concentration of Fe_2(SO_4)_3. In the experimental ranges of ionic strength of solution up to 9m, the pH values calculated in this study were in good agreement with those measured.

In this paper, we proposes two phase chopper system with flour. separate groups of D.C motor for regenerative braking. The main circuit consists of four sets of chopping parts, eight diodes and four separate groups of D.C motor. Although the proposed chopper circuit requires more circuit elements than the conventional two phase chopper system with, combined output, it has the following advantages: (1) The region of regenerative braking becomes twice as that of the conventional two phase chopper system. (2)Current division of load becomes equalized. Therefore. it is possible to drive not only series motor but also shunt and separately excited motor (3) The harmonic component of the source current is greatly diminished.
일개 대학병원에 내원한 원발성 폐암 환자의 인구학적 및 병리학적 특성

Background : Recently, the lung cancer mortality rank first in Korea. The prognosis of lung cancer is not good enough with current treatments and multimodality treatments are required. So we are interested in the characteristics of lung cancer patients for better treatment. Methods : We searched lung cancer patients since 1994. Then we collected the data of primary lung cancer patients about the demographic features, histologic types and diagnotic methods. We divided the total period into 2 haves and specific analysis was tried. Results : 1) Total 850 patients were included. 633 (74.5%) were male and 217 (25.5%) were female. 2) The mean age was 65 ± 11 years old. and the peak age was 7th decades. 3) Squamous cell carcinoma(334/850, 39.3%) was slightly more prevalent than adenocarcinoma(302/850, 35.5%). Conclusion : From these results, we expected that older persons will be diagnosed to have lung cancer and adenocarcinoma will be more dominant histologic type with time.
