<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study aimed to compare the sensitivity of porcine-specific primers targeting different mitochondrial DNA for the detection of porcine gelatin in ramen stock powder designated “Halal” using SYBR Green I real-time PCR. Four mitochondrial DNA markers (D-loop, ATP8, ND5, and 12S rRNA) were used to detect the porcine gelatin DNA. Extraction of DNA from porcine gelatin and spiked mixtures was successfully performed using a DNeasy Mericon Food Kit. Each primer had high porcine specificity for D-loop, ATP8, and ND5 genes, but not the 12S rRNA gene. Also, the detection limit for each primer was tested in a serial dilution of porcine gelatin DNA (10, 1, 0.1, 0.05, 0.01, and 0.005 ng) and ramen stock powder spiked with porcine gelatin (1, 0.1, 0.05, and 0.025%). Assays targeting both D-loop and ND5 genes were able to detect a level as low as 0.01 ng, while the detection limit for the ATP8 gene was 0.05 ng in pure porcine gelatin. The detection limits of D-loop, ATP8, and ND5 genes were 0.05%, 0.1%, and 1% (w/w) in ramen stock powder spiked with porcine gelatin, respectively. In conclusion, a novel detection system targeting the mitochondrial D-loop was superior to the others and could be an effective and simple method to authenticate Halal products.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A porcine gelatin detection system was developed based on mitochondrial genes. </LI> <LI> Among four assays, mitochondrial D-loop assay was the most reliable and sensitive. </LI> <LI> This assay will provide simple and efficient detection system. </LI> <LI> This assay will authenticate halal products including ramen stock powder. </LI> </UL> </P>
뉴스와 댓글 텍스트를 활용한 공모주 상장일 시초가 형성 예측 및 영향성 분석: XGBoost 기반

본 연구는 뉴스 및 댓글이 공모주 신규 상장 직후 가격형성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다고 가정한다. 2018.1~2022.7까지 신규 상장된 337개 공모기업을 대상으로 상장 전 시점 개인투자자의 관심을 포함한 댓글 데이터와 해당 댓글이 생성되는 뉴스 데이터들을 활용하여 공모주 상장 직후 시초가 형성에 영향을 미치는지 실증분석 하였다. 본 연구에서 뉴스, 댓글 데이터를 활용하기 위해 각 기업의 신고서 제출일로부터 상장예정일까지 네이버 뉴스에 게시된 뉴스와 댓글에 KR-FinBERT 모델을 적용해 긍정, 부정, 중립으로 분류 후 감성점수화 해 변수로 사용하였다. 또한 공모주 가격형성에 영향을 미치는 여러 변수를 사용해 거시경제 상황과 개인 및 시장 반응을 종합하여 공모주 상장 당일 확정공모가 대비 시초가가 1.0배, 1.5배 초과 형성되는지 분석하였다. 연구 결과 감성 변수를 포함하였을 때 확정공모가 대비 시초가가 1.0배 초과의 경우 감성 변수를 포함하지 않은 경우보다 좋은 성능을 보인 반면, 시초가가 1.5배 초과의 경우는 감성 변수를 포함한 경우가 포함하지 않은 경우보다 낮은 성능을 보였다. 이를 통해 감성 변수는 확정공모가 대비 시초가 형성을 예측 시 도움되지만, 초과 상승분에 대한 예측시 도움이 되지 않음을 확인하였다. This study assumes that news and comments can affect price formation immediately after IPO. The empirical analysis was conducted on 337 publicly traded companies newly listed from 2018.1 to 2022.7 to see if the initial price affects the formation immediately after the IPO listing by using the comment data including the interest of individual investors before the IPO and the news data in which the comment is generated. In order to utilize news and comment data, KR-FinBERT model was applied to news and comments posted on Naver News from the date of submission of each company’s declaration to the date of listing, and it was classified into positive, negative, and neutral, and then used as an emotional scoring variable. In addition, we analyzed the macroeconomic situation and individual and market responses using various variables affecting IPO price formation to determine whether the initial price is 1.0 times and 1.5 times higher than the final IPO price on the day of IPO. As a result of the study, when the initial price is more than 1.0 times higher than the final offer price, the performance is better than when the emotional variable is not included, but when the initial price is more than 1.5 times, the performance is lower than when the emotional variable is not included. Through this, it was confirmed that the emotional variables are helpful in predicting the initial formation compared to the final public offering, but not in predicting the excess increase.

In order to estimate how diverse the mating types in Pleurotus eryngii from different regions are, pairings between monokaryons derived from inter- and intragroups were done. Sixteen and 15 alleles were identified at loci A and B from the 12 strains. In the P. eryngii KNR2312, widely used for commercial production, four mating loci, A3, A4, B3, and B4, were determined. Those loci, except A3, were found in 4 strains out of 12 strains. To improve breeding efficiency, especially in mating type determination, RAPD and BSA were performed to screen for a mating type specific marker. The SCAR marker 13-22100 was developed based on the RAPD-derived sequence typing B3 locus. The sequence analysis of 13-22100 revealed that it contained a conserved domain, the STE3 superfamily, and consensus sequences like the TATA box and GC box. It seems likely that the SCAR marker region is a part of the pheromone receptor gene.

<P>In this work, structural and optoelectrical properties of vertical and horizontal nanowires are investigated. Both the type of nanowires are realized using MOCVD system. Before MOCVD deposition an In seed layer is deposited using DC sputtering system. Further studies in crystalline properties reveals a probable temperature dependency of nanowire growth direction. Photoluminescence spectra presents the electronic band gap of the grown nanowires to be 0.8 eV. Though the peak positions for both the type are same nearly 1550 nm but the integrated PL intensity of vertical nanowires are found to be higher in comparison to horizontal ones. This can be attributed to the larger active area associated to vertical nanowires. TEM study reveals a very thin native In2O3 layer due to very high reactivity of In in air. Furthermore to study the opto-electronic device applicability photocurrent is measured for both the types of nanowires. Vertical nanowires records a high photocurrent than horizontal. This enhancement in photocurrent can be attributed to higher density of nanowires and larger active area offered by vertical nanowires.</P>
Control of surface defects on plasma-MIG hybrid welds in cryogenic aluminum alloys

Lately, high production rate welding processes for Al alloys, which are used as LNG FPSO cargo containment system material, have been developed to overcome the limit of installation and high rework rates. In particular, plasma-metal inert gas (MIG) hybrid (PMH) welding can be used to obtain a higher deposition rate and lower porosity, while facilitating a cleaning effect by preheating and post heating the wire and the base metal. However, an asymmetric undercut and a black-colored deposit are created on the surface of PMH weld in Al alloys. For controlling the surface defect formation, the wire feeding speed and nozzle diameter in the PMH weld was investigated through arc phenomena with high-speed imaging and metallurgical analysis.
Optimal Extraction Condition of Chlorophylls and Lutein in Black Soybean with Green Cotyledon

Black soybeans, which have been widely utilized as food and as material for Oriental medicine, contain anthocyanins in the seed coat. Soybean seeds with black seed coat and green cotyledon are called “Seoritae” in Korea. Korean customer prefer “Seoritae” to normal black soybean with yellow cotyledon. The pigments contained in green cotyledon of black soybeans were chlorophylls and lutein. These constituents function as antioxidant and protect humans against diverse damages. The purpose of this study was to investigate the most suitable extraction condition and method of green cotyledon pigments in black soybeans. The green cotyledon pigments were analyzed on RP-HPLC with C18 column using gradient system. The gradient system was used two mobile phases. A gradient elution was performed with mobile phase A, consisting of 100% MeOH, and mobile phase B, consisting of 100% EtOAc. Among the 4 kinds of extraction method using methanol and/or acetone solution, ultrasonic extraction at 30 min. using acetone solution was most suitable extraction condition for simultaneous analysis of chlorophylls and lutein in soybean with green cotyledon.
경마공원 경주로내 제설제 살포로 인해 주변에 미치는 지하수 수질 특성에 관한 연구

The study area is located in Korea in a racepark and its surrounding areas, which had been continuously sprayed with deicing salts to prevent the freezing of raceway. The purpose of this paper was to examine groundwater quality properties affected by salt spraying on the racepark raceway. The groundwater beneath the racepark’s surrounding area had higher concentrations of calcium, sodium, chloride, and EC than did the uncontaminated area. Above all, the groundwater affected by the de-icing salts showed higher concentrations of calcium and chloride than sodium. This result is probably due to the cation exchange in soil environments. Based on the groundwater modeling results, it was inferred that the pollutants caused by the racepark course are recharged to the groundwater and are transported to the surrounding area over time. In conclusion, these results indicate that groundwater quality has been mainly contaminated by calcium, sodium, and chloride by the use of de-icing salts.
한방병원에 입원한 요통 환자의 요추 전만각, 요천각 변화의 심각도에 따른 예후 분석 연구

Objectives To analyze the prognosis of patients with low back pain according to the severity of abnormal lumbar lordotic angle and Ferguson's angle. Methods Data from electronic medical record of a total of 199 patients hospitalized in Korean medicine hospital were analyzed. With the sagittal view of lumbar spine X-ray, lumbar lordotic angle was defined as the angle between the superior endplate of L1 with the inferior endplate of L5. Ferguson’s angle was defined as the angle between the superior surfaces of the sacral with a horizontal line. ‘Measure Cobb’s Angle Tool’ of ‘INFINITT PACS’ was used to measure both angles. Lumbar lordotic angle and Ferguson's angle were subdivided into five sections. The number of days from onset and the duration of hospitalization were analyzed in each section. Results Severe hypolordotic lumbar lordotic angle group were found to have longer medical history and hospitalization duration than the control group. The ratio of long-term hospitalization (over 15 days) and chronic medical history (over 180 days) of patients with severe hypolordotic Ferguson’s angle were significantly higher than the control group. The ratio of patients with chronic medical history (over 180 days) was significantly higher in severe hyperlordotic Ferguson's angle group than the control group. Conclusions Severe hypolordotic lumbar lordotic angle was related to patient’s prognosis. Both severe hyperlordotic and severe hypolordotic Ferguson’s angle were found to be related to patient’s prognosis. However, a moderate loss of lumbar lordotic angle and Ferguson’s angle was not related to prognosis of low back pain patients. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2020;30(4):143-154)
