        가상현실 기법의 활용이 지식 성취도 향상에 미치는 효과 : 눈의 구조와 기능 내용을 중심으로 The Structure and Function of Eye

        The purpose of present study was to develop teaching-learning materials based virtual reality technology(VRT), and to examine the effect of it on the knowledge achievement of biology. Authoring tool of virtual reality(VR) was 3D Webmaster made in Superscape Ltd., United Kingdom. Educational materials was developed for the structure and function of eye of life field in the 10th science. It was learner-directed and interactive educational material using the Web-based and desktop VR. The result showed a meaningful improvement on the achievement. Using 3D VR shows the potential of available education media in the next generation as science teaching-aided material, which especially was efficient in the understanding and perception of abstract or difficult to direct experience learning contents.

      • 건설현장 근로자들의 안저예방실태와 사고예방과의 개선요인 조사연구

        This study was conducted to examine aspects of health and safety education and demand level of safety education in construction job sites in order to provide direction of safety education development. The subjects of this study were 566 workers who were working in construction job sites located in Daegu City and Kyungbuk Province. Data were collected from June 1, 2002 to August 30, 2002. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. According to safety education by experience methods, the proportion of education by lecture was highest (90.6%). The proportion of education by field practice was 13.1%. 2. Among the education methods which they thought as the most desirable method, the proportion of audio-visual education was 39.4% and the proportion of education by experience was 37.5%. Those who had more monthly income and higher education level preferred audio-visual education, while those who were younger and less educated preferred education by experience. 3. In the case of the contents of the safety education which they thought as the most important one, the proportion of enhancement of safety awareness and education of risk factors was highest (24.7%). The groups of older workers, having longer working period, and belonging to higher education level preferred these contents. 4. According to the factors which were most important to increase effectiveness of the safety education were workers' voluntary participation (27.7%), 40 to 49 years old (27.7%), and monthly income of one million, five hundred thousand won to one million, nine hundred ninety thousand won (32.0%). The proportions of lower educated workers and working as daily workers were also high. 5. The variable which most influenced the safety education was age. The safety awareness of construction job sites was the second highest influential variable. From above results, it is clear that the workers' participation in the safety education was low since most of the safety educations were formal education by lecture. Although they participated in the education, the education was also not effective because they compulsorily participated in it. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective alternative policies must be formulated.

        유학생을 위한 대학 생활 적응 프로그램 설계 연구

        This study designed a college life adjustment program for international students that is different from the current freshman orientation program. Before designing, the orientation program for freshman of college in Korea was compared and the study examined current condition of international students in Korea. As the result, it was confirmed that the international students felt most difficult about college classes, and the cause of problem came from Korean language proficiency and insufficient adjustment to Korean culture. Also, it was confirmed that the students regard employment information, certificates and human relations. The study also verified the sense of belonging or school life adjustment the international students feel. Based on the problems and solutions drew up through analysis, the study set goals and composed program details to design "college life adjustment program for international students". The study discussed that there is a need to provide program in short and long term basis by supporting in stages in accordance with admission period, grade and condition of foreign students, and suggested the actual program which should he conducted at the beginning of college admission. 본 연구는 기존의 신입생 오리엔테이션 프로그램과의 차별성을 두고 유학생을 위한 대학 생활 적응 프로그램 내용을 설계하였다. 설계에 앞서 국내 대학의 신입생 대상 오리엔테이션 프로그램을 비교하였으며, 한국에 있는 유학생의 현황을 살펴보았다. 유학생의 특징을 살피기 위하여 배재대학교 유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 그 결과 학교생활 중에서 학과 수업을 가장 어려워한다는 것을 알게 되었으며 이러한 문제는 한국어 숙달도와 한국 문화에의 적응 부족에서 기인하고 있었다. 또한 학생들은 취업 정보 및 자격증 취득과 인간관계를 중요시한다는 점을 알 수 있었으며, 그들 자신이 느끼는 학교에서의 소 속감이나 학교생활 적응도도 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 분석을 통해 도출된 문제점과 해결 방안을 토대로 목표 설정 및 프로그램 내용을 구성하여 ‘유학생을 위한 대학 생활 적응 프 로그램’을 설계하였다. 설계된 내용은 유학생의 입학 시기, 학년, 상황에 따라 단계적으로 지원하고 단기적, 장기적 차원으로 제공해야 함을 논하였으며, 입학 초기에 이루어져야 하는 프로그램의 실제를 보였다.

        후지 사과 Polyphenol Oxidase 의 특성 및 활성억제

        As a basic research for inhibition of enzymatic browning of apples during dehydration or processing, polyphenol oxidase was extracted from Fuji apples to investigate heat inactivation, chemical inhibition and other properties. Polyphenol oxidase showed the highest activity at 20℃ and pH 5.5 with catechol as substrate, and the Michaelis constant of 0.14 M under the same condition of substrate and pH. The thermal inactivation followed pseudo first-order kinetics to have activation energy of 23.0 k㎈/㏖ and z value of 19.7℃. As for substrate specificity the polyphenol oxidase showed high affinity toward the o-diphenolic compounds, particularly chlorogenic acid. Neither the m- and p-dihydroxy phenols nor monophenols were attacked. Browning by polyphenol oxidase was completely inhibited at the concentrations of l0mM for potassiummetasulfite and thiourea and 1mM for L-cysteine, ascorbic acid and sodium diethyldithiocarbarnate.

        항정신병약물을 처음으로 사용하는 초발 정신증 환자에서 나타나는 체중 및 대사성 지표의 변화 : 후향적 연구

        Objectives:This study was to identify weight & metabolic changes in first-episode psychotic patients with antipsychotics use and investigate the differences of weight & metabolic changes between first-episode psychotic patients and controls with antipsychotics use. Method:In this retrospective study, twenty eight first-episode psychotic patients and twenty eight controls with schizophrenia, schizoaffective or bipolar disorder defined by DSM-IV criteria were included. Information about demographic and clinical characteristics of the subjects was gathered from the medical records. Also body weight, sBP, dBP, fasting glucose, lipid profile and WBC count were evaluated before and after antipsychotics use. Rogistic regression was conducted to assess factors associated with weight gain. Results:First-episode psychotic patients showed more weight and BMI changes than controls after antipsychotics use, and these changes continue over 12 months. On the other hand, there were no significant factors associated with weight gain. Conclusion:The results of present study suggest that antispychotics is one of the major causes inducing weight gain of psychotic patients and antipsychotics-induced weight gain is more vulnerable to drug-naive first-episode psychotic patients.

      • 인간 재조합 인터루긴-32 면역조절작용에 대한 유세포 분석

        Xenotransplantation of porcine organs has the potential to overcome the severe shortage of human tissues and organ available for human transplantation. however, it remains various hurdles for clinical xenotransplantation. In pig and mouse xenotransplantation, porcine xenograft evoke a strong cellular rejection response in immunocompetent host and grafts are destroyed within a week. This cellular immune response could involved both T cells and NK cells. A number of groups have shown that human NK cells can recognize and damage porcine endothelial cells. In addition, human T cells can respond to porcine endothelial cells through both direct and indirect mechanisms. Cellular rejection of porcine tissues requires T cells, particularly CD4^(+) cells. A new cytokine recombinant human interleukin-32α,β(IL-32α,β) has a role innate and acquired immune system. In order to investigate the role of recombinant mouse IL-18 and recombinant human IL-32α,β in xenograft rejection, we transplanted the PK(15) cells to C57BL/6 mice with or without intraperitoneal injection of recombinant mouse IL-18 or recombinant human IL-32 α,β. It was analyzed the population of NK cell, T cell and B cell in the C57BL/6 mice transplanted with PK(15) cells and recombinant mouse IL-18 or recombinant human IL-32α,β by flow cytometry analysis. As a result, lymph node and thymus of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group were increased to T cell activation population than normal injected groups. CD8^(+) T cells were decreased in lymph node of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected groups. CD4^(+) T cells were increased in lymph node cell of PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group and also, B cell population were increased in lymph node cell and spleen of PK15/IL18, PK15/IL32α and PK15/IL32β injected group. Therefore, we suggest that recombinant mouse IL-18 and recombinant human IL-32α,β suppress xenograft rejection in cellular xenotransplantation.
