        The aim of this study is to analyze the internal space relationship and the organization of houses that has built in Taejon since 1970. In this study, the selected factors for analysis are interlocking spaces, adjacent spaces, and spaces linked by a common space. The result of analysis shows that personal spaces are enlavged by occupant's convenience. This study is to be a basic data for detached houses design.

      • Dextranase 함유 구강 세정액의 치태 제거 및 치은염 예방 효과에 관한 임상적 연구

        A novel glucanhydrolase (DXAMase) from a mutant of Lipomyces starkeyi (KSM 22) has been shown effective in hydrolysis of mutan, reduction of mutan formation by Streptococcus mutans and removal pre-formed sucrose-dependent adherent microbial film and DXAMase has been strongly bound to hydroxyapatitie. These in vitro properties of Lipomyces starkeyi DXAMase are desirable for its application as a dental plaque control agent. This study was performed to determine the adjunctive oral hygiene benefits and safety of dextranase (Lipomyces starkeyi KSM 22 DXAMase)-containing mouthwash when used alongside normal toothbrushing. This 6-month clinical trial was placebo-controlled double-blind design evaluating 1U/㎖ dextranase mouthwash and 0.12% chlorhexidine mouthwash. A total 39 systemically healthy subjects, who had moderate levels of plaque and gingivitis were included. At baseline, 1, 3 and 6 months, subjects were scored for plaque accumulation(Turesky modification of Quigley-Hein's plaque index), gingivitis status (Lo¨e and Silness gingival index), and tooth stain(Area and severity index system by Lang et al). Additionally, oral mucosal examinations were performed and subjects questioned for adverse symptoms. Two weeks after pre-experiment examinations and a professional prophylaxis, the subjects were provided with allocated mousewash and instructed to use 20-ml volumes for 30s twice daily after toothbrushing. All the groups showed significant increase in plaque accumulation since 1 month of experiment. During 6 month's period, the Dextranase mouthwash group showed the least increase in plaque accumulation, compared to the Chlorhexidine mouthwash and placebo groups. As for gingival inflammation, all the groups showed significant increase during 6 months of experiment. The Experimental group (Dextranase mouthwash) also showed the least increase in gingival index score, compared to the Positive control (Chlorhexidine mouthwash) as well as the Negative control (placebo) groups. Whereas the tooth stain was increased significantly in the Positive control group, compared to the baseline score and the Negative control group since 3 months of mouthrinsing. It was significantly increased after 6 months in the Experimental group, still less severe than the Positive control group. As for the oral side effect, the Experimental group showed less tongue accumulation, bad taste, compared to the Positive control group. From these results, mouthrinsing with Lipomyces starkeyi KSM 22 dextranase provided adjunctive benefits to toothbrushing, comparable to 0.12% chlorhexidine mouthwash in inhibition of plaque accumulation and gingival inflammation and local side effects were if anything less frequent and less intense than chlorhexidine, with long-term use of the mouthwash. All data had provided positive evidence for Lipomyces starkeyi KSM 22 dextranase as an antiplaque agent and suggested that further development of dextranase formulations for plaque control are warranted.

        Nowadays increasing use of abdominal ultrasound in routine check-up may increase the detection rate asymtomatic cystic lesions of pancreas. Even through the majority of the cystic lesions of pancreas is pseudocyst, about 10-15% of those lesions are caused by pancreatic cystic tumor. In the pancreatic cystic tumor, especially, mucinous cystic tumor should be exicised due to its malignant potential, while the pancreatic pseudocyst or serous cystic tumon can be observed for a period or treated medically. Several clinical, radiological, biochemical and pathologic guidelines have been developed in order to distinguish among them. Among pancreatic cystic tumors, mucinous cystic adenocarcinoma is very rare and accounts for only 1% of all pancreatic neoplasms. Unlike extremely poor prognosis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma, mucinous cystic adenocarcinoma has an indolent course and shows a good prognosis after its curative resection. Recently we experienced a 69-year-old woman who had a mucinous cystic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. We report this case with a review of literature.

        뮤코다당증(Mucopolysaccharidosis)환아의 치은 증식

        뮤코다당증(Mucopolysaccharidosis, MPS)은 gIycosaminoglycans (GAGs)의 분해에 필요한 라이소좀 효소(lysomal enzymes)의 결함으로 GAGs의 대사 산물이 세포의 라이소좀내에 축적되어 점차 세포와 조직, 기관의 기능 이상을 초래하고 신체 질환과 정신 발달 지연을 가져오는 질환이다. 본 증례는 심각한 치은 증식을 가진 뮤코다낭증 환아를 전신 마취 하에 치은 절제술을 시행한 치험례이다. 소아치과 의사는 뮤코다당증 환아의 구강내 증상과 치과 치료시 주의 사항에 대해 숙지해야 하고, 내과의와 연계하여 환아의 전신 상태 변화에 민감하게 대처하여 치과 치료를 시행해야 한다. Mucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) is a disorder of storage in which there is excessive accumulation of glycosaminoglycans(GAGs) from lysosomal enzyme defect. Lysosomal accumulation of GAGs eventually results in cell, tissue and organ dysfunction. This patient may manifest mental retardation and physical disorders. This clinical report presents a girl with MPS having severe gingival hyperplasia. Gingivectomy was performed under general anesthesia. The pediatric dentist must be aware of oral manifestations present in the MPS. The approach to dental management will require teamwork between the dentist and the patient' s physician.

        탄산음료 유발 법랑질 침식에 대한 항우식 제품의 예방 효과

        본 연구는 항우식 제품인 Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate(CPP-ACP)를 포함하는 치아크림, 불소 바니쉬, 저농도 불소 양치액을 치아에 도포하는 것이 단시간 탄산음료에 의한 법랑질의 침식을 예방할 수 있는지 살펴보기 위해 계획되었다. 법랑질 시편에 다음과 같은 항우식 제품을 도포하였고, 인공타액에 24시간 보관한 후, 콜라에 1분 증류수에 1분씩 5회 번갈아 처리하였다. 1군: 대조군(무처치) 2군: CPP-ACP 치아크림군 3군: 불소 바니쉬군(1,000 ppm F) 4군: 저농도 불소 양치액군(227 ppm F) 5군: 불소 바니쉬 + CPP-ACP 치아크림군 6군: 저농도 불소 양치액 + CPP-ACP 치아크림군 미세경도와 침식깊이를 측정하였고, Quantitative light-induced fluorescence(QLF)를 이용하여 안정된 형광 격자에 대한 부피 형광 변화인 ΔQ를 측정하여 무기질 감소량을 평가하였다. 6일 동안 실험을 반복하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 미세경도는 1군≤2군≤4군<6군<3군≒5군 순이었다. 2. 평균 침식깊이는 5군≒3군<6군<4군≒2군≒1군 순이었다. 3. ΔQ는 1군≒2군≤4군≤6군≤3군≒5군 순이었다. ΔQ의 감소율은 1군과 2군, 4군과 6군, 3군과 5군이 각각 유사하였다. 4. ΔQ는 미세경도와 강한 양의 상관관계를 나타냈고(r=0.96, p<0.05), 침식깊이와는 강한 음의 상관관계를 보였다(r=-0.96, p<0.05). The aim of this study was to evaluate the preventive effect of commercially available anticariogenic products, specifically, the tooth cream containing Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate(CPP-ACP), fluoride varnish and low-level fluoride mouthrinse on enamel erosion induced by carbonated beverage in a short period of time. Enamel specimens were treated as follows and were then kept in artificial saliva for 24 hours followed by further processing by alternately soaking them in Cola beverage and in distilled water for 1 minute each five times. Group 1: control group (no treatment) Group 2: tooth cream with CPP-ACP Group 3: fluoride varnish (1,000 ppm F) Group 4: low-level fluoride mouthrinse (227 ppm F) Group 5: fluoride varnish + tooth cream with CPP-ACP Group 6: low-level fluoride mouthrinse + tooth cream with CPP-ACP Microhardness and erosion depth were measured and the mineral loss of each specimen was evaluated by measuring the volumetric fluorescence change(ΔQ) against the stable fluorescent grid using quantitative lightinduced fluorescence(QLF). The experiment lasted for 6 days repeated each day. The results were as follows: 1. The microhardness was increased as follows: Group 1≤2≤4<6<3≒5. 2. The mean erosion depth was increased as follows: Group 5≒3<6<4≒2≒1. 3. The ΔQ was increased as follows: Group 1≒2≤4≤6≤3≒5. The decrement of ΔQ was similar between group 1 and 2, group 4 and 6 and group 3 and 5. 4. The ΔQ showed positive correlation with microhardness (r=0.96, p<0.05), while it was negatively correlated to erosion depth (r=-0.96, p<0.05).

        분화중인 흰쥐 콩팥의 요세관에서 nNOS의 발현

        Nitric oxide는 콩팥에서 혈류의 조절, 사구체 혈액역동학 및 요세관의 운반에 중요한 역할을 하는 인자로서 최근 세포의 주기조절, 유사분열에도 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 최근 연구결과에 의하면 발생중인 콩팥에서의 nNOS의 발현은 성체와는 다른 것으로 알려져 있으나, 발생중인 콩팥에서의 발현 양상 및 발현시기 등에 대해서 알려진 바 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 발생중인 콩팥을 이용하여 분화중인 요세관에서 nNOS의 발현양상을 관찰하고자 하였다. 성체에서 nNOS의 면역반응성은 사구체 보우만주머니의 벽측상피와 치밀반, 내림가는부분 및 수질집합관에 발현되었다. 발생중인 콩팥에서는 임신 15일에 처음 발현하기 시작하였으며, 그 부위는 원위세관의 굵은오름부분이었다. 임신 20일에서 출산후 14일까지 새로이 형성되는 요세관의 굵은오름부분에서 관찰되었으나, 분화를 마친 요세관에서는 그 발현 양상이 감소하였다. 출생후 21일경에는 최종적으로 치밀반에만 국한되어 발현되었다. 속수질에서는 내림가는 부분과 속수질 집합관에서 발현되었으며 그 양상은 수질 중간부위에서 강하게 발현되었으며 시작부위와 말단부위에서는 약하게 발현되었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 굵은오름부분에서의 nNOS의 발현은 요세관의 분화정도와 일치하며 특히 그 발현양상이 분화가 활발한 시기에 강하게 발현되고 분화가 저하된 후에는 발현이 감소하는 것으로 보아 발생중인 콩팥의 성장에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 생각된다. Nitric oxide (NO) is an important regulator of renal blood flow, glomerular hemodynamics, and tubule transport processes in the kidney. There is also evidence that NO is involved in cell cycle regulation and mitotic division. During development the nNOS expression pattern differs from that observed in adult animals. However, little is known about temporal and spatial patterns of nNOS expression in the developing kidney. The purpose of this study was to establish the time of expression and the distribution of nNOS in the developing rat kidney. Kidneys from 14-, 16-, 17-, 18-, and 20-day-old fetuses, 1-, 4-, 7-, 14-, and 21-day-old pups, and adult animals were preserved and processed for immunohistochemistry. In the adult kidney, nNOS was detected in the parietal epithelium of Bowman’s capsule, macula densa, descending thin limb and inner medullary collecting duct. nNOS immunoreactivity appeared first in the distal tubule anlage at 15 days of gestation, and in all epithelial cells of developing thick ascending limbs (TAL) as well as macula densa of 17- and 18-day-old fetuses. From 20 days of gestation to 14 days after birth, nNOS was expressed in the newly formed cortical TAL, which are located in the medullary ray, whereas in mature TAL of juxtamedullary nephrons, nNOS immunolabeling gradually decreased in intensity and became restricted to the macula densa. In inner medullary collecting ducts, nNOS immunoreactivity appeared first at 7 days after birth in the papillary tip and gradually ascended to the border between outer and inner medulla. In the descending thin limb and parietal epithelium of Bowman’s capsule, weak nNOS immunoreactivity was observed at 14 days after birth and labeling gradually increased to adult levels at 21 days after birth. These results suggest that differential expression of nNOS in the developing kidney is an important physiological regulator of renal function during kidney maturation.

        QLF를 이용한 항우식 제품의 인공우식 재광화 효과에 대한 연구

        본 연구는 항우식 제품인 저농도의 불소 양치액(500 ppm NaF)과 Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate(CPP-ACP)를 포함하는 치아 연고,그리고 이 두 제품을 같이 사용했을 경우,인공 우식 병소의 재광화 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 제3대구치 협면에 인공우식을 유발하였고,시편을 16개씩 4군으로 나누어,28일 동안 매일 2회 다음과 같은 항우식 제품을 시편에 처리하였고,pH 순환 시스템을 적용하였다. 1군: 대조군(무처치) 2군: Tooth Mousse^(ⓡ) (GC Co. Japan) 3군: 치카치카^(ⓡ)(삼일제약. 한국) 4군: 치카치카^(ⓡ)+ Tooth Mousse^(ⓡ) 무기질 소실량(ΔQ)의 장기적인 변화를 Quantitative light-induced fluorescence (QLF)를 이용하여 관찰하여 다음과 같은결과를 얻었다. 1. ΔQ는 1군에서는 28일동안 유의성 있는 차이를 보이지 않았고,2군과 3군에서는 처치전에 비해 14일부터 유의성 있는 증가를 보였으며,4군에서는 7일부터 유의성 있는 증가를 보였다. 2. ΔQ는 1군 < 2군,3군 < 4군 순이었다. 3. ΔQ는 1군과 비교시 2군은 7일,3군과 4군은 3일부터 유의성 있는 증가를 보였고,2군은 3군과 전 기간 동안 유의차가 없었다. 4군은 2군과 3군에 비해 28일에 유의성 있는 증가를 보였다. 4. 모든 군에서 재광화 속도는 점차 감소하였다. The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the remineralization effect of commercially available anticariogenic products, exactly low level fluoride mouthrinse(500 ppm NaF), tooth cream with Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) and fluoride mouthhnse plus tooth cream on artificial caries lesion. Artificial caries lesion was induced at the buccal surface of permanent third molar and the specimens were then divided (16 specimens/group) into four group. Twice a day during 28 days specimens of each group were treated with a commercially anticari.ogen.ic product as follows and applied to the pH cycling system. Group 1: control group (No treatment) Group 2: Tooth Mousse^(ⓡ) (GC Co. Japan) Group 3: chikachika^(ⓡ) (Samil Co. Korea) Group 4: chikachika^(ⓡ) + Tooth Mousse^(ⓡ) The long-term change of mineral loss(ΔQ) was evaluated by quantitative 1ight-induced fluorescence(QLF) and the following results were obtained: 1. ΔQ of Group 1 was not noticed statistically significant during 28 days comparing that prior to treatment. There was a statistically significant increase in ΔQ of Group 2 and 3 since 14 days. So was in ΔQ of Group 4 since 7 days. 2. ΔQ was increased as follows: Group 1< Group 2, 3< Group 4. 3. Comparing with Group 1, Group 2 was a statistically significant increase since 7 days and Group 3 and 4 were since 3 days. Comparing Group 2 with 3, there was not noticed statistically significant during whole duration. Group 4 was significantly higher than Group 2 and 3 after 28 days. 4. All groups demonstrated a decrease in the rate of remineraUzation as time goes on.

      • Mongolian gerbil 심장동맥의 해부학적 연구

        The arterial supply to heart of mongolian gerbil has been described. Observations were made by the specimens injected with latex after the flowing through in left ventricle. The results were summaried as follows; 1. A. coronaria arose from the initial portion of Aorta in heart and A. coronaria dextra and sinistus arose in Aortic sinus on 10 specimens. A. coronaria sinistra arose more near boundary of Aortic sinus than A. coronaria dextra. 2. A. coronaria sinistra which arose from Aortic sinus divided into Ramus interventricularis sinistra and Ramus circumflexus sinistra. A. coronaria dextra which arose from Aortic sinus only runed continously as Ramus interventriculares dextra. 3. Ramus interventricular sinistra not reach the heart apex through the sulcus interventricula but stopped in thoracocostal plan extending to under part. 4. R. circumflexus runed theough sulcus coronarius, thereafter it runed from left ventricle to Sulcus interventricularis dorsalis. 5. A. coronaria dextra runed to diaphargm side through sulcus interventricula dorsi thereafter it became Ramus interventricular dextra. It distrubuted left and right ventricle wall on 8 specimens and 2 specimen stopped margo obtusus.
