        하지 분절 각도에 따른 수의 등척성 수축(MVIC)시 근전도 비교

The purpose of this study was to quantify the maximum EMG levels and determine if there are differences in these EMG levels with respect to different knee flexion angles. Eight university students with no known musculoskeletal disorders were recruited as the participants. The maximum voluntary isometric knee extensions and flexions were taken from each participant sat on the isokinetic exercise machine (Cybex 340) at five different knee flexion angles (10?30?50?70? 90?. After surface electrodes were attached to rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus laterlis, biceps femoris, and semitendinosus, maximum EMG levels at five different knee flexion angles were measured. The results showed that there was no significant difference in maximum EMG levels among five different knee flexion angles. Although there was no significant difference in EMG levels and were some variations among different knee flexion angles, the EMG signals of quadriceps in extension and biceps femoris in flexion were the greatest at 30? It seems that different joint angles or relative locations of body segments might affect the magnitude of EMG levels. Because the maximum EMG levels could change with a different knee flexion angle, an attempt should be made to more accurately measure these values. If then, %MVIC measure provides more reliable data and is most appropriate for EMG normalization.

        인슐린비의존형 당뇨병 환자에서 Lipoprotein(a)농도와 혈관합병증

        연구배경: 당뇨병 환자에서 동맥경화증의 발생위험이 정상잉인에 비해 높은 원인의 하나로써 혈액응고와 섬유소용해작용의 이상을 초래하는 Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]가 논의되고 있다. 당뇨병 환자의 동맥경화증과 당뇨병성 합병증 발생위험 증가에 Lp(a)가 어느 정도 관여하는지에 대해서도 아직 확실히 알려져 있지 않다. 저자등은 인슐린비의존형 당뇨병 환자의 혈관합병증(대혈관 및 미세혈관합병증) 발생과 Lp(a)농도와의 관계 및 혈관합병증을 일으키는 다른 위험인자와 Lp(a)농도와의 관련성에 대하여 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법: 인슐린비의존형 당뇨병 환자 152명(여자:남자=72:80)을 대상으로 공복상태에서 혈중 Lp(a), ApoA1, ApoB, 총 콜레스테롤, 중성지방, 고밀도지단백질-콜레스테롤 등을 측정하였다. 대혈관합병증(허혈성 심질환, 뇌혈관질환, 말초혈관폐쇄성 동맥경화증)의 진단을 위해 증상이 있는 환자들에서 심전도, 관상동맥조영술, 뇌전산호단층촬영, Doppler velocimetry, 말초혈관조영술 등을 시행하였고, 미세혈관합병증은 안저활영, 신경전달속도, BBV(beat to beat variation), VPT(vibration perception threshold), 24시간 요단백량 등을 측정하여 확인하였다. 결과: 허혈성 심질환, 뇌혈관질환등 대혈관질환 및 당뇨병성 망막증 등 미세혈관질환을 갖는 환자에서 Lp(a)농도가 대조군보다 통계적으로 유의하게 증가되어 있었다. Lp(a)농도가 30㎎/dL이상인 군에서 ApoB/ApoA1 및 저밀도지단백질-콜레스테롤이 Lp(a)농도가 30㎎/dL 이하인 군보다 높았으며, 혈관질환을 갖는 군에서 Lp(a)는 높은 ApoB/ApoA1와 저밀도지단백질-콜레스테롤과 통계적으로 의의있는 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 결론: Lp(a)는 인슐린비의존형 당뇨병 환자의 대혈관합병증과 미세혈관합병증(특히 당뇨병성 망막증)에 관련이 있는 것으로 보이며, 특히 저밀도지단백질-콜레스테롤 및 ApoB/ApoA1이 높게 나타난 인슐린비의존형 당뇨병 환자에서 Lp(a)농도 측정이 필요하리라 생각된다.

        갈색 세포종은 신경내분비종양의 하나로 VIP를 포함한 다양한 신경내분비 펩타이드를 분비할 수 있다. 저자들은 만성 설사와 체중 감소를 주소로 내원한 환자에서 좌측 부신에 VIP를 생성하는 갈색 세포종을 진단하여 성공적으로 제거한 후 증상이 모두 호전된 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a 28-amino acid peptide, which may cause secretory diarrhea by stimulating the production of adenylate cyclase. Neuroendocrine tumors, secreting vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), are almost always of a pancreatic in origin. However, a pheochromocytoma may produce several neuropeptides, containing VIP, as they are considered to be neuroendocrine tumors. A 57-year-old woman, who presented with chronic watery diarrhea, hypokalemia, weight loss and a left adrenal mass, is described. Histologically, the tumor was diagnosed as a pheoch-romocytoma, with ganglioneuronal differentiation, and was histochemically confirmed to produce a vasoactive intestinal polypeptide. A left adrenal VIP-producing pheochromocytoma was successfully resected. After surgery, her diarrhea subsided and the electrolytes, affected neuroendocrine hormone levels, blood pressure and blood sugar level were normalized (J Kor SOC Endocrinol 18:227-231, 2003).

      • The Effect of Attenuation and Scatter Correction in Rat Brain PET

        <P>Attenuation correction (AC) and scatter correction (SC) are problematic issues for animal positron emission tomography (PET). In this study, the effects of AC and SC were assessed using PET on a phantom and actual rat brain. Transmission (TX) was performed using <SUP>57</SUP>Co for 15 min. After a 15 min TX scan, emission (EM) PET was performed in list mode for 1 h. To assess the effects of AC and SC, the spillover ratio (SOR) was measured using a rat-sized NEMA NU4 image-quality phantom; statistical parametric mapping (SPM) was performed to assess the effects of AC and SC in the rat brain using 18<SUP>F</SUP>-FDG (FDG). In addition, the binding potential (BP) was compared for <SUP>18</SUP>F-FP-CIT (FP-CIT) PET. SPM was used to compare PET images to which AC and SC were applied, and BP was used for FP-CIT PET. The SORs of air and water decreased after AC and SC. SPM for FDG PET after AC showed a significant increase in FDG-measured activity in the cerebellum and occipital cortex. After AC/SC, a significant decrease in FDG-measured activity was observed in the frontal and temporal cortices. For FP-CIT PET of the rat brain, the BP decreased by 26% after AC because the FP-CIT uptake increased more in the cerebellum than in the striatum owing to AC. After AC and SC, the mean BP increased by 61%. AC and AC/SC were found to be necessary components of the artifact correction process for both FDG PET and FP-CIT PET of rat brains.</P>

        도심 수목원에서의 경관감상과 산책이 인체의 생리적 안정에 미치는 영향

        This research was conducted to investigate the impact of viewing scenery and walking in the urban forest onphysiological relaxation of humans. The experiment was conducted in Hanbat Arboretum located in Daejeon, and thecontrol experiment was conducted in front of Daejeon City Hall. The subjects that participated in the experimentcomprised 24 Korean male university students in their 20s (average age, 21.1±2.5 years), participated in the experimentas the subject, and these subjects were classified into three groups divided into three locations such as the pine forest inArboretum, the pond in Arboretum, and the city. The subjects sat down and viewed scenery for 10 min, and they thenwalked for 15 min. Further, physiological changes were measured using indicators such as heart rate variability (HRV),blood pressure, and pulse rate. As a result, when subjects viewed scenery and walked in the urban forest, a statisticallysignificant increase in the high frequency (HF) power of HRV and decrease in systolic pressure was observed comparedwith when subjects viewed scenery and walked in the city. Through this research, it was found that activities like viewingscenery or walking in Arboretum of the city are effective in increasing the physiological relaxation of the city residents.

      • 여성 아나운서의 메이크업 스타일 변화에 관한연구 : 1990년대와 2000년대를 비교중심으로

        The following paper cross-examines the change and reason in the announcer's makeup styles following the change in broadcasting programs. The announcers of the 90's were more of an information carrier as an announcer and a broadcaster than a female, and hence their makeup was restricted to express reliability and professionalism. However, as the role of female announcers became more diverse with program changes and as they became more involved in programs other than news, their makeup styles changed and became more diverse. The announcers of the 21st century are involved in many areas of activities and roles as to be called 'annatainers'. The demand for broadcasters is increasing to meet the need for diversity, and this in turn calls for diverse talent on the part of the announcer, not just on celebrities. Starting with this paper, there should be consistent research on announcers and female broadcasters in diverse fields and changes in their makeup styles following changes in fashion and trend.

      • 154kV용 활선 안전 경보기 개발에 관한 연구

        In this report we developed a high voltage alarm for the safety of workers who check and repair the 154kV power line. This high voltage alarm we developed is attached on workers' helmet and alarms automatically in order to let workers know when workers work over the safety distance near 154kV power line. Until now the exact safety distance hasn't been regulated and high voltage alarm we've been using was for the range of 6∼22.9kV power line. We fabricated this high voltage alarm on the basis of electric density and actual measurement of power line. The experimental result was that high voltage alarm at 66kV power line alarmed near 90cm, at 154kV power line alarmed near 160cm from the line. Accordingly, we developed the new high voltage alarm which is operated in the range of 66∼154kV power line.

      • 현대 메이크업에 나타난 레트로 경향에 관한 연구 : 히피메이크업을 중심으로

        Recognition toward makeup has been renewed as one of the important element that constitutes the total fashion. Makeup is not simply a decorative and external beauty on human faces. It is a living culture that symbolizes one's self value, expresses one's idea and personality, and pursues one's harmony and internal existence. Thus, its cultural importance has been growing as it contains political, economical and cultural elements. Since makeup is directly applied to faces, it has a close relationship with total fashion, playing an important role in completing it. In this study, I examined the characteristics of revived hippie-style makeup and how it's different from the original hippie-style makeup, by analyzing its internal meaning, style and colors. From this study, I found out that the current hippie-style, one of the modern retro fashions, has recreated the n대 hippie style which reflected social problems against environmental pollution and conservation of nature, as well as the past hippie fashion into more modernized and chic one. By examining the retro hippie makeups during 1960's and 2000's. I learned that the past styles can give an inspiration to various styles in the modern days. The 60's hippie style was an old-fashioned and rebellious fashion with folklore influence. Its makeup emphasized eye areas with fake eyelashes. On the other hand, the 90's hippie makeup was elegant due to the influence of feminism and naturalism. The retro hippie makeup was newly reproduced with past elements, rather than being a simple copy of the past hippie style. It has been influenced by the cultural environment of each era with the revived past elements.

      • 포토샵을 이용한 아트메이크업에 관한 연구

        This paper aims: to raise more attention to the make-up expression by introducing art make-up skill with using photoshop: to find possibility to use photoshop program in the make-up field; to research better works through graphic work. This paper finds different points that by means of applied photoshop composing skill it can make diverse and subtle reactions and even same transforming skill can make different results such as editing and feels of material. Given that due to the proliferation of the internet, people around the world are currently concentrating on the computer, it is possible to make speedy exchanges of various methods and trials. If we take an advantage of the endless possibility and imagination exclusively in the Photoshop, and use its strong messages in a right way, it can deliver new images in a stronger and faster way than ones done with any other delivering systems. I expect that by developing this kind of research, we can extend the range of image-delivering of the art make-up with photoshop, provide endless possibility for the creation, and play a significant role in developing diverse domains of make-up.
