Since Han-ok, the traditional Korean-style house, is composed with combinations of complex components in various shapes and sizes, it is essential to categorize the components into several types for digitalization of Han-ok information. This study applied feature-based classification using BIM parametric modelling methods. After investigating ‘Parameter and Formula relations’, ‘Parametric description’ and ‘Instance diagram’ of Han-ok components, the study established XML libraries for the parametric modelling of open BIM. The IFC-XML libraries include parametric and properties information as well as the geometric information of Han-ok. For the combination of parametric and non-parametric geometry, the study also suggested a new methodology of using ‘comments’ inside IFC, which enabled interworking between IFC and XML. A prototype of BIM browsing module was developed in the last phase of this study to validate the conformance of the IFC-XML libraries. This integrated browser for Han-ok allows the users, both experts and non-experts, to check and manipulate Han-ok component fabrication by changing specific parameters promptly. The browser successfully showed automatic changes of all related Han-ok elements in accordance with the parameters, relationships and formulas of components.
Horseshoe Appliance를 이용한 Ⅲ급 부정교합의 교정적 접근

성장기 아동의 Ⅲ급 부정교합의 치료에는 많은 악기능 정형장치가 사용되어 왔으며 다양한 형태로 변화하여 발전되어 왔다. Horseshoe appliance는 Schwarz에 의해 소개된 장치로서 elastic의 견인력으로 장치의 free sliding 효과를 통해, 하악와와 과두의 관계를 재정립시켜, 악골 주위의 연조직이나 muscle matrix와 조화되는 새로운 위치에 하악골을 repositioning시켜 악골관계를 개선시킬 수 있다. 또한 하악의 후하방 회전 효과를 극소화시켜 전안면고경의 증가를 방지할 수 있고, 구외 장치에 비해 환자의 협조도가 좋다. 저자들은 전치부 반대교합을 주소로 전북대학교 치과병원 소아치과에 내원한 Ⅲ급 부정교합 환자에게 Horseshoe appliance를 사용한 결과 하악골에 대한 상대적인 상악골의 전방 성장과 교합평면의 반시계방향 회전, 상악 전치의 순측 경사와 하악 전치의 설측 경사로. 3개월 내에 전치부 반대교합이 해소되는 효과를 얻었다. The Horseshoe appliance was introduced by Dr. Schwarz, and it is used to correct sagittal relationships by elastic force in class Ⅲmalocclusion.It minimizes the increment of lower anterior facial height and allows the mandible to be repositioned harmoniously with the soft tissue and muscle matrix of the jaw. It has the advantages of better patient cooperation, easier construction, and more effective modification. In the patients who were treated with Horseshoe appliance, forward growth of maxilla and counterclockwise rotation of occlusal plane with labioversion of maxillary incisors and linguoversion of mandibular incisors were obtained Minimum downward and backward rotation of mandible was accepted, so increasing of lower anterior facial height was minimized.
인체 간 Microsome에서의 우슬 추출물의 Cytochrome P450 약물 대사효소에 대한 억제작용

Objective : Achyranthes bidentata radix (Usul) has been used as anti-arthritic, antiallergic, antidiuretic and so on Recently extracts of Achyranthes bidentata radix have shown anti-inflammatory and cancer preventive effects in vitro and in vivo. Methods : We therefore evaluated the inhibitory potential of ehtanol extracts of Achyranthes bidentata radix on cytochrome P450(CYP) isoforms-catalyzecd reactions, which relate to causes of cancer and inflammation, including CYP1A2, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2E1, CYP2D6, CYP2C8, and CYP3A4, using human liver microsomal preparations. Results : The extracts showed weak or negligible inhibitory effects on CYP2C9-catalyzed (S)-warfarin 7-hydroxylation, CYP2C19-catalyzed S-mephenytoin 4-hydroxylation, and CYP2D6-catalyzed dextromethorphan O-demethylation with each IC50 over 1750 g/㎖, respectively. However, it showed relatively significant inhibitory effect on CYP1A2-catalyzed phenacetin O-deethylation and CYP2E1-catalyzed chloizoxazone 6-hydroxylation with IC50s of 970.5 g/㎖ and 821.4 g/㎖, respectively. Conclusions : These results suggest that extracts of Achyranthes bidentata radix have inhibitory effects on CYP-catalyzed reactions, expeciallyCYP1A2 and CYP2E1, in human liver microsomes. These effects appear to relate to anti-inflammatory and cancer prevention following decrease of reactive oxygen species formed by CYP, especially CYP1A2 and CYP2E1, by Achyranthes bidentata radix. However, further evaluation is necessary to demonstrate and to confirm its effects in human.
RAW 264.7 세포에 대한 중국산 천연 광물성 섬유 TAFMAG의 독성효과

Objectives : This study was designed to evaluate cytotoxicity of TAFMAG, which is a trade name of natural mineral fiber mined and produced in China. Methods : The cytotoxicity of TAFMAG was evaluated by measuring iron content, lipid peroxidation, erythrocyte hemolysis, and cytotoxicity in vitro. These results were compared with the data of chrystotile and wollastonite as a positive and negative control, respectively. Results : There was significant increase of Fenton activity in TAFMAG and chrysotile with dose-response pattern. The iron chelating agent, desferrioxamine, significantly decreased Fenton activity of the particulates except wollastonite. TAFMAG and chrysotile fibers significantly increased malondialdehyde concentration from lipid peroxidation of the red blood cell membrane. In erythrocyte hemolysis test, TAFMAG & chrysotile had stronger effect on erythrocyte hemolysis than wollastonite with the concentration of 1,000g/ml. Furthermore, TAFMAG was more hemolytic than chrysotile with the concentration of 5,000g/ml. There was a significant cytotoxic effect in TAFMAG and chrysotile on RAW cell compared with wollastonite. Conclusions : In vitro study suggested that TAFMAG may have a similar health hazard as usual asbestos.

Vibrio cholerae is mainly known to cause gastrointestinal infection after seawater exposure or raw seafood intake. It is rarely reported to cause cellulitis or sepsis, but threre has been no known case after acupuncture. Herein, We report a 56-year-old cirrhotic patient of non-O1, non-O139 Vibrio cholerae septicemia caused by cellulitis of both lower extremities after acupuncture.
PTPσ Drives Excitatory Presynaptic Assembly via Various Extracellular and Intracellular Mechanisms

<P>Leukocyte common antigen-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatases (LAR-RPTPs) are hub proteins that organize excitatory and inhibitory synapse development through binding to various extracellular ligands. Here, we report that knockdown (KD) of the LAR-RPTP family member PTP sigma reduced excitatory synapse number and transmission in cultured rat hippocampal neurons, whereas KD of PTP delta produced comparable decreases at inhibitory synapses, in both cases without altering expression levels of interacting proteins. An extensive series of rescue experiments revealed that extracellular interactions of PTP sigma with Slitrks are important for excitatory synapse development. These experiments further showed that the intracellular D2 domain of PTP sigma is required for induction of heterologous synapse formation by Slitrk1 or TrkC, suggesting that interaction of LAR-RPTPs with distinct intracellular presynaptic proteins, drives presynaptic machinery assembly. Consistent with this, double-KD of liprin-alpha 2 and -alpha 3 or KD of PTP sigma substrates (N-cadherin and p250RhoGAP) in neurons inhibited Slitrk6-induced, PTP sigma-mediated heterologous synapse formation activity. We propose a synaptogenesis model in presynaptic neurons involving LAR-RPTP-organized retrograde signaling cascades, in which both extracellular and intracellular mechanisms are critical in orchestrating distinct synapse types.</P>
