        Adult Patients with Congenital Muscular Torticollis Treated with Bipolar Release : Report of 31 Cases

        Objective : We assessed the surgical results of bipolar release in 31 adult patients with uncorrected congenital muscular torticollis (CMT) and more than 12 months of follow-up. Methods : Thirty-one patients underwent a bipolar release of the sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) and were retrospectively analyzed. The mean follow-up period was 14.9 months (range, 12-30). The mean age at time of surgery was 30.3 years (range, 20-54). Patients were evaluated with a modified Lee's scoring system, cervicomandibular angle (CMA) measurement, and a global satisfaction rating scale using patient self-reporting. Results : The modified Lee's scoring system indicated excellent results in 4 (12.9%) patients, good in 18 (58.1%), and fair in 9 (29.0%) at the last follow-up after surgery. The improvements in neck movement and head tilt were statistically significant (p<0.05). The preoperative mean CMA was $15.4^{\circ}$ (range, 5.4-29.0), which was reduced to a mean of CMA of $6.3^{\circ}$ (range, 0-25) after surgery (p<0.05). The global satisfaction rating scale was 93.7% (range, 90-100). A transient sensory deficit on the ipsilateral lower ear lobe was noted in three cases. No significant permanent complications occurred. Conclusion : Bipolar release of the SCM is a safe and reliable technique for the treatment of CMT in adults.

        IT 기술력으로 대한민국을 연결하다: 메쉬코리아의 성공 메커니즘 분석

        온라인 쇼핑 시장의 발전과 코로나19 바이러스의 확산으로 비대면 생활 시대가 점진되면서 라스트 마일 시장(Last Mile Market)은 유래 없는 호황을 맞이하고 있다. 이제는 배송의 대상이 음식에 국한되지 않고 편의점, H&B 스토어 등 비(非)음식분야까지 서비스가 보편화 되었다. 본 연구는 라스트 마일 업계에서 IT(Information Technology) 기술력을 기반으로 성공적인 성장을 거듭하고 있는 메쉬코리아의 성공 사례를 자원기반이론(RBV)의 확장 모델로 평가되는 SER-M 패러다임을 통해 분석했다. 주체의 특성, 환경적 조건, 자원의 역량요인 등이 융합 · 결합을 통해 어떠한 메커니즘을 형성하여 성공할 수 있었는지, 그리고 더 큰 성장을 위해 어떤 도전과제에 직면하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 선순환적 성장 메커니즘을 구축시켜준 주요 원동력은 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 주체변수의 특성은 창업가의 기업가정신으로 나타났다. 메쉬코리아의 창업주 유정범 대표는 아버지의 장례식장에서 배달 시스템의 비효율성을 보면서 이를 개선하기 위해 창업을 결심했다. 유대표의 기업가 정신은 현장 중시 철학인 ‘우문현답’, 모두에게 이익이 되도록 하려는 모토인 ‘세상에서 가장 깨끗한 1원의 가치’, 그리고 흔히 라이더(Rider)라 부르는 배송기사들에 대한 ‘섬김의 리더십’실천으로 부각된다. 둘째, 성공을 위한 환경적 요인은 온라인 쇼핑이 활성화되어 라스트 마일 사업이 확대된 시장 환경, 인공지능(AI), 빅데이터 등 다양한 기술의 발전에 힘입어 신유통 등 물류 시장에 혁신의 바람을 불게 한 시대적 환경, 그리고 코로나-19 신종 바이러스 확산에 따른 강력한 사회적 거리두기 조치등의 정책적 환경이 새로운 기회를 제공한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유정범 대표의 기업가 정신과 코로나 팬데믹 환경에 더하여 메쉬코리아가 보유하고 있는 인적, 물적 자원을 업계에서 유일하게 직영 구조로 운영하는 전략적 자원으로 구축 및 활용함으로써 글로벌 배송 업체까지도 벤치마킹하고자 하는 메쉬코리아의 선순환적 성공 메커니즘이 사내외로 확산되고 있음을 확인하였다. 논문의 마지막 부분에서는 대부분의 사업과 산업이 어려움에 처한 상황에서도 배송업계에 대한 낙관적 전망에 따라 포화상태로 접어들고 있는 라스트 마일 업계에서 메쉬코리아가 향후 직면하게 될 도전과제에 대하여 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 메쉬코리아의 성공적 성장사례를 통해 스타트업 기업들의 시장진입 및 성장전략, 그리고 그 과정에서 직면하게 되는 이슈와 과제를 어떻게 대응하고 극복해 갈 것인지에 대한 방법을 토론하는 데 그 의미를 두고자 하였다. The Last Mile Market is experiencing an unprecedented boom due to advent of the non-faceto-face life era caused by the development of the online shoppong market and the spread of the COVID-19. The target of delivery is not limited to food, and services have become common in non-food fields such as convenience stores and H&B stores. This study analyzed the success cases of Mesh Korea, which has achieved successful results based on IT(Information Technology) in the Last Mile Industry, through a ser-M model. and this study examines what kind of mechanisms the subject, environment, and resourse factors could have formed and succeeded through fusion and combination, and what challenges they face for greater growth. CEO Rhyu Jeong-beom, founder of Mesh Korea, decided to start a business in order to improve the inefficiency of the delivery system at his father’s funeral. His entrepreneurship is “Woo Moon Hyeon-dap(The answer to our problem is in the field),” a philosophy that focuses on the field, “the cleanest value of 1 won in the world,” and the leadership of serving delivery riders. Environmental factors for success were analyzed by dividing in to Market Environment in which the Last Mile Market has expanded due to active online shopping, The environment of the times in which various technologies such as AI(artificial intelligence) and big data have been developed to blow the wind of innovation in the logistics market. and Policy Environment such as strong social distancing following the spread of the COVID-19. This study presents the challenges that Mesh Korea will face in the future in the last mile industry, which is saturated with indyustry optimism. And it is meaningful in discussing how to overcome the start-up and growth of start-up companies and the challenges they will face through the case of Mesh Korea.

The following paragraph is thought to best summarize Plato's thought of Yangseng. 1. His Yangseng Method has the exercise of the goodness of disposition. 2. The other method is the nutrition of the simplicity. 3. Tnother method is the sex of the well disposition. Therefore, the three requisites for the health of Plato is the goodness of disposition in the Exercise, the Nutrition and the sex.

      • 모시대의 식품이용화 가치 증진을 위한 품질특성

        This study was conducted to increase the value as an useful food resources of Adenophora remotiflora. The contents of dietary fiber was 0.25 g/100 g(dry basis) and tannin was 155.2 ppm. The minerals in Adenophora remotiflora identified calcium(31.63 ㎎/㎏), potassium(149.51 ㎎/㎏), magnessium(14.15 ㎎/㎏), iron(1.40 ㎎/㎏), and sodium(1.46 ㎎/㎏). We examined the quality characteristics of Adenophora remotiflora kimchi during fermentation at 20℃ and 4℃. In color, L and a values gradually increassed at both storage temperature, the b values were decreased slightly at both 4℃ and 20℃. The results of pH decreased from 5.43 to 3.60∼4.60 at 20℃ and 4℃. However, tirtaratable acidity increased from 0.96% to 2.29∼3.98%. Also vitamin C and reducing sugar contents decreased during storage at both temperatures. In sensory evaluation, overall acceptability of Adenophora remotiflora kimchi showed lower scores as storage times increased.

        과산화수소의 농도와 적용시간이 상아질의 깊이에 따라 레진 수복물의 미세인장결합강도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 심부 상아질과 치수실 상아질에 H₂O₂를 각기 다른 적용시간과 농도로 적용하였을 때, 레진수복물과의 미세인장결합강도에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 준비된 각각의 치아에 전형적인 근관와동을 형성하고 다음과 같이 무작위로 1개의 대조군과, 4개의 실험군으로 나누었다: 1군, 전처리를 시행하지 않았다; 2군, 20% H₂O₂를 20분, 10분, 5분간 적용하였다; 3군, 10% 를 20분, 10분, 5분간 적용하였다; 4군 5% H₂O₂를 20분, 10분, 5분간 적용하였다; 5군, 2.5% H₂O₂를 20분, 10분, 5분간 적용하였다. 위와 같이 처리한 후 와동 내를 Superbond C&B(Sunmedical, Co., Shiga, Japan)로 충전하였다. 각 치아는 증류수에 24시간 저장한 뒤 심부 상아질과 치수실 상아질로 잘라 미세인장결합강도 시험을 시행하였다. 각 군에서 측정된 미세인장결합강도를 3-way ANOVA와 Tukey post hoc test로 통계 처리하였다(p < 0.05). 실험 결과 모든 군에서 심부 상아질(D1)의 미세인장 결합강도가 치수실 상아질(D2)보다 높게 나타났다. 평균 결합강도는 H₂O₂의 농도와 적용 시간이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 통계분석에서 상아질의 깊이, H₂O₂농도와 적용 시간이라는 세 가지 변수간의 교호작용 효과는 없으나(p > 0.05). 상아질의 깊이와 H₂O₂농도 사이, H₂O₂농도와 적용 시간 사이에서는 교호작용 효과가 있었다(p < 0.05). SEM 관찰에서는 H₂O₂의 농도가 증가할수록 상아세관이 좀 더 개방된 양상을 보였다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of hydrogen peroxide at different application time and concentrations on the microtensile bond strength of resin restorations to the deep and the pulp chamber dentin. A conventional endodontic access cavity was prepared in each tooth, and then the teeth were randomly divided into 1 control group and 4 experimental groups as follows: Group 1, non treated; Group 2, with 20% Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂); Group 3, with 10% H₂O₂; Group 4, with 5% H₂O₂; Group 5, with 2.5% H₂O₂; the teeth of all groups except group 1 were treated for 20, 10, and 5min. The treated teeth were filled using a Superbond C&B (Sun medical Co., Shiga, Japan). Thereafter, the specimens were stored in distilled water at for 24-hours and then sectioned into the deep and the chamber dentin. The microtensile bond strength values of each group were analyzed by 3-way ANOVA and Tukey post hoc test(p < 0.05). In this study, the microtensile bond strength of the deep dentin (D1) was significantly greater than that of the pulp chamber dentin (D2) in the all groups tested. The average of microtensile bond strength was decreased as the concentration and the application time of H₂O₂ were increased. Analysis showed significant correlation effect not only between the depth of the dentin and the concentration of H₂O₂ but also between the concentration of H₂O₂ and the application time(p < 0.05), while no significant difference existed among these three variables(p > 0.05). The higher H₂O₂ concentration, the more opened dentinal tubules under a scanning electron microscope(SEM) examination.

      • 기관지천식 환자에서 유도객담을 이용한 기도 염증의 평가

        Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the relationship between cell counts, supernatant and lysate ECP levels in sputum, and physiologic markers in adult asthmatic. Methods : Twenty-two patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma, ten patients with acute exacerbated asthma and nine healthy subjects were enrolled. Sputum was induced by inhalation of hypertonic saline, and homogenized with 0.1% dithiothreitol. A total and differential cell was measured in supernatant fluid. Cell pellet was centrifuged, and ECP(supernatant ECP) was measured in supernatant fluid. Cell pellet was reacted with a cellular lysis buffer to release cell-associated ECP, and ECP(lysate ECP) was measured again in supernatant fluid. The ratio of supernatant to lysate ECP was calculated as an index of eosinophil degranulation. Spirometry and methacholine bronchial challenge tests were also performed as physiological markers of asthma. Results : The patients with acute exacerbated asthma showed significantly higher percentage of sputum neutrophil, eosinophil count, concentration of sputum supernatant ECP and ratio of supernatant to lysate ECP than those of normal controls and stable asthmatic patients(p<0.05, respectively). The level of sputum supernatant ECP, supernatant/lysate ECP ratio, and percentage of neutrophil showed negative correlations with pulmonary functions, but no correlations with a degree of bronchial hyperresponsiveness. There was no significant correlations between of serum ECP level and physiological parameters. Conclusion : These results suggest that both neutrophils and eosinophils play roles in the exacerbation of asthma. The sputum supernatant/lysate ECP ratio might be valuable in assessment of activation status of eosinophils in various hypereosinophilic conditions or diseases.

      • 菌株를 달리한 청국장의 製造에 관한 硏究(第2報)

        B. natto 및 B. subtilis균을 이용한 방법 및 재래식 방법에 따라 제조한 청국장의 숙성과정 중의 성분변화를 측정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 숙성과정 중의 pH 는 시험구 모두 저하현상을 나타내었고, 총산은 모두 증가하였다. 2) 일반성분의 변화는 각 시험구 모두 큰 변화없이 불규칙적인 증감현상을 보였다. 3) 총당과 Ethyl alcohol은 숙성기간중에 시험구 모두 감소하였다. 4) 아미노태 질소와 수용성 질소의 함량은 경시적으로 증가하였으나 각 시험구간에 차이는 없었으며 B. natto구, 재래식구, B. subtilis 구의 순으로 높았다. 5) 효소활성은 시험구 모두 불규칙적인 증감현상을 보였으며 protease 활성은 경시적으로 미약하나마 증가하였다. The growth process of the Chungkook-jang that occured by utilizing such traditional methods as Bacillus natto and Bacillus subtilis method has been examined. The results of the experiment in which the changing process of elements during the aging period had been measured are as follows: 1) During the growth period, concerning any change in pH, the storage period had been declined. However, the total acidity had been increased. 2) So far as is concerned with the change in the general elements, the storage period of each element showed no remarkable change. But the storage period had rather irregularly been changed. (either increased or decreased) 3) During the growth period of tatal sugar and ethyl alcohol, all the storage periods of the elements under investigation appeared to be decreased. 4) The contained quantity of amino nitrogen and water soluble nitrogen appeared to be increased slightly. But it was noticed that differences between storage periods are negligibly small. The storage period observed for the elements under investigation are presented hierarchially as follows : (1) Bacillus natto, (2) Traditional method, (3) Bacillus subtilis. 5) The storage period of enzyme activity had slightly and irregularly been changed. It was also noticed that protease activity had been increased in a negligibly small amount.

        The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristics of water-vapor separator for improving the evaporative surface. The experimental system is constituted with water vapor generator, vapor storage tank, laser source for visualization and camera for photography. The efficiency of water-vapor separator can be varied by the kinds of the inside materials. Thus, in this report, we introduced the three kinds of materials with wire scrap, wire brush and sponge. As the experimental results, the wire brush was showed the best efficiency with 185 g/hr.

      • 인계 난연제를 사용한 PC/ABS/SAN 수지의 특성

        Characteristics of polycarbonate(PC)/poly(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, ABS)/poly(styrene-acrylonitrile, SAN) composites were investigated by using non-halogenated fire-retardant such as triphenyl phosphate (TPP). The fire retardancy and impact strength of composite systems were thoroughly examined by using UL-94 V method and Izod impact tester. Comparing the reference samle(R) fire resistance of phenol/TPP/hexamine(NHMB) systems showed the same as V-0 grade in PC/ABS/SAN composites when NHMB 40phr was added, and heat distortion temperature(HDT) was about 81℃. Impact strength and HDT increased with an increase of the NHMB content but melt index(MI) decreased.
