        Recently the need of energy storage device such as the pumped-storage has more and more increased in power system in order to aid a side reliability. But it has the problem of environment. As an alternative way of installing it, the Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage(SMES) is widely study in a power system. Generally the SMES might divide in two class ; the storage use and the stability use. For use in storage SMES never has been construct, because of its expensive cost. Actively progressing the field of the study is for use in stability SMES, so as construction cost is relatively inexpensive. In order to application of the SMES in the power system, it has to be proven of stability efficiency through stability analysis. Stability analysis need modelling of the SMES. The existing model has been used only mathematical model that presented by first order delay time function, so that the SMES has fast response characteristic. But this kind of mathematical model of dynamic system have some problems when stability analysis requests more precision analysis. The problems are the complexity of equation, long calculus time and error of model-decision. For the purpose of settling this problems, this paper proposed an artificial neural network(ANN) methodology to make SMES modelling. ANN is presented using the input-output power characteristics of SMES. when it uses ANN which functions as a model-free system, network construction and parameters determination are carefully chosen to represent the complicated nonlinear input-output relation from the black-boxed SMES system. So far medelling of SMES by ANN never used stability analysis. In this paper, the proposed ANN-based SMES model is applied to analyze the power system stability and the simulation results provide the property of this approach.

      • 건축물 고형시료 중 석면 분석을 위한 방해 물질 제거방법에 대한 연구

        In this study the following pretreatment methods are proposed using solid samples of buildings : furnace ashing methods according to the existing waste process, acid treatment after furnace ashing, acid treatment using graphite block acid circulation, a new method of attempting. This study propose a method for pretreatment of solid samples in buildings containing asbestos with a comparison of the asbestos analysis obstruction removal rates according to the above mentioned methods. The materials used in this study are 48 slates of 3 types and 48 textures of 3 types, total 96 samples which are solid samples in buildings. Pretreatment and acid treatment methods were classified in four ways: Electric high temperature furnace ashing methods according to the existing waste process and acid treatment with HCl(1+3)(Group A), Electric high temperature furnace ashing methods and acid treatment with aqua regia(HCl 3 : HNO3 1)(Group B), acid treatment with aqua regia(Group C) using graphite block acid circulation, a new method of attempting and acid treatment with inverse aqua regia(Group D). The removal rate of furnace ashing from slate samples in A and B treatment groups was 13.91%, and the removal rate of furnace ashing from texture samples in A and B treatment groups was 9.21%, so the removal rate of furnace ashing from slate samples was significantly higher than texture samples(p<0.001). The removal rate of asbestos analysis interfering substances from slate samples and texture samples in C treatment group with acid treatment with aqua regia using graphite block acid circulation were 30.50% and 30.58%, respectively. So in both slates and texture samples, the removal rate of asbestos analysis interfering substances from the slates and texture samples of A, B, and D treatment groups was significantly higher(p<0.001). The newly proposed acid treatment with aqua regia using graphite block acid circulation method in this study significantly eliminated more acid solubility material and asbestos analysis interfering substances than electric high temperature furnace ashing methods according to the existing waste process and acid treatment with HCl(1+3), and this method does not go through the process with high temperature furnace ashing, it is believed that asbestos analysis can be made easier by preventing changes in the characteristics of asbestos and the use of graphite block acid collection devices when acid treatment of solid samples in buildings containing large amounts of asbestos analysis interfering substances can be more effective than conventional methods.

      • Quad-tree구조를 이용한 계층적 회로 추출 알고리즘

        본 논문에서는 VLSI의 마스크 도면정보로부터 회로도를 효율적으로 추출하기 위한 계층적 회로추출 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 마스크 레이아웃데이타는 CIF형태의 요소로 구성하며 이들 각 요소를 quad-tree형태로 보관함으로서, 회로 탐색 시간 및 기억공간을 감소시켰다. 본 알고리즘은 CIF입력부 quad-tree생성부, 트랜지스터 검증부 및 연결 리스트 생성부 등으로 구별되며 출력을 그래픽 형태로 표시할 수 있게 하였다. 본 회로 추출기는 회로의 계층적 구조를 그대로 유지하면서 트랜지스터의 위치 및 연결도를 중복없이 정확히 검증할 수 있으며, 이로 부터 회로도를 추출할 수 있다. A hierachical circuit extract algorithm, which efficiently extract circuits from VLSI mask pattern information, is programmed. Quad-tree is used as a datastructure which includes various CIF circuit elements and instances. This system is composed of CIF input routine, quad-tree making routine, transistor finding routine and connection list making routine. This circuit extractor can extract circuit with hierarchical structure of circuit.

        Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose 분진의 습도와 온도에 대한 영향성 연구

        This study was performed with Hartmann type dust explosion apparatus and Godbert-Greenwald furnace apparatus in order to research the effect of temperature and humidity affecting LEL, minimum ignition temperature of Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose. The experimental determinations in the range between 20℃ and 60℃ of temperature was not affected LEL(180g/m³) but LEL showed 200g/m³ and 250g/m³ at 80℃ and 100℃. As the change of humidity LEL was 180g/m³ for 50%, 200g/m³ for 60% and 250g/m³ for 70% but dust explosion didn't occur over 80%, The ignition temperature of HPMC dust clouds was increased as increasing of humidity. So, the minimum ignition temperatures at 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% of humidity was 363℃, 375℃, 397℃, 405℃.

      • 배관의 캐비테이션 침식-부식 특성에 관한 연구

        In this study, the steel pipe piping water(SSPW) and SPPW on weldment were tested by using of a cavitation erosion - corrosion test appartus with nozzle(water tunnel type) and were investigated under the marine environment of liquid. The main results obtained were as follows 1) The corrosion - erosion of weldment is more susceptible than that of base metal. 2) The weight loss rate of heat affected zone of weldment can be largely improved by the preheat, dry of base metal and electrode before welding. 3) The electrode potential becomes noble by the pre-heat, dry of base metal and electrode before welding, and the corrosion current density is decreased.

        Efficient multioutput function minimization algorithm is proposed. In order to test PLA efficiently. testable PLA design methods are proposed. A shift register and control line are used for extra hadware. Fault detection methods for NMOS PLA and Dynamic CMOS PLA are proposed to decrease the amount of test sets. Test sets are simply generated from personality matrix after minimization process.

        In this paper we have proposed a method for solving a four-coloring problem using adjusted information transmission between adjacent neurons in neural networks. These algorithms are based on McCclloch-Pitts binary neuron model neural networks. If a map shares n regions, a 4×n neural array is used to color a map of n regions where each neuron as a processing element performs it. By programming these algorithm by a C-language in IBM PC 486 DX and adapting it to various examples, we have showed the ability of our system. If one neuron is selected among four neurons, the strength of order three neurons is wakened. So, by transmitting the information of selected neuron, adjacent neurons cannot share the same color.

      • PLA의 고밀도설계를 위한 다출력 논리함수의 최소화기법

        A new algorithm on minimization for multi-output boolean functions is proposed. Base minterm is selected among the minterms that compose the boolean functions. Product function, candidate product term(CPT) and relation function are generated by cube relation of base minterm. For efficient minimization , the properities of multi-output functions are considered. According to the heuristic conditions of adjacent minterm. CPT is changed to prime implicant by relation function. The proposed algorithm can reduce necessary comparisons of minterm and doesn't generate unnecessary prime implicants. it can get more improved minimized results.

        The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the response of Precast Prestressed Concrete Interior Wide Beam-Column Joint subjected to cyclic lateral loading. To this end, the experimental investigation was performed with six half-scale specimens of interior connection. The design parameters are the beam to column depth ratio, and the number of tendons within column core. One of the specimens, IJH-6, is modeled for the connection at the top floor of a structure. The test results showed that the specimens sufficiently resist up to limiting drift ratio of 0.035 in accordance with the provisional standard by ACI of acceptance criteria for concrete special moment frames.

        PC U형의 단면을 사용한 포스트텐션된 넓은 보-기둥 내부접합부의 비탄성 거동

        Post-tensioned precast concrete system(PPS) consists of U-shaped precast wide beams and concrete columns. The continuity of beam-column joint is provided with the topping concrete on the PC shell beam and post-tensioning. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the response of PPS interior beam-column joint subjected to cyclic lateral loading. To this end, the experimental investigation was performed with three half-scale specimens of interior connection. The design parameter is the ratio of beam width to column width. Test results showed that cracks were distributed well and plastic hinges spread toward midspan without any significant degradation of strength and ductility. And the specimens sufficiently resisted up to the limiting drift ratio of 0.035 given by ACI of acceptance criteria for concrete special moment frames.
