In this study, we investigated 3 methods for precise registration of buildings into LIS. They are ; 1. using digital topographic maps, 2. using registered building maps, 3. cadastral surveyings on sites. The first method was found that it hardly met required precision, and the second one was also lack of precision because of unmatched actual buildings with registered ones and many unregistered buildings. The last method produced the most precise results, although it required laborious cadastral surveyings on sites. Considering the importance of building registration as it shows the ownerships of properties, the third method was thought to be desirable.

Up to date, photogrammetry is the most standard technology for the topographic mapping. The applicability of photogrammetry is drastically increasing with the progress of photogrammetry instruments and the development of processing software. Some remarkable advancements of the photogrammetry are summarized as follows ; GPS Navigation, Pinpoint Photographing, Direct Georeferencing and Automation of Survey Flight Mission. In addition, the era of a real digital photogrammetry is near at hand with the advent of high precise aerial digital cameras which enable us to acquire digital images as soon as the photographing. In this paper, the status of photographing and camera development related to the mapping process and technology has been inquired. This research is mainly focused on the investigation of the flight system calibration methods and their characteristic which give a great effect on the determination of interior orientation parameters.

Spindle cell lesions of the urinary bladder are uncommon tumors, and are most often spindle cell (sarcomatoid) carcinomas, non-neoplastic reactive mesenchymal proliferations, or soft tissue sarcomas. Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) may also occur in this location, but IMTs occurring at bladder sites have rarely been described. We experienced a case of IMT of bladder.
PI-003, a Novel Cytosolic Phospholipase $A_2$ Inhibitor Isolated from Bacillus subtilis

A few strains of bacteria producing phospholipase $A_2$ ($PLA_2$) inhibitor have been isolated from soil. The most potent inhibitor (named PI-003) was selected through in vitro and in vivo tests. The molecular weight of PI-003 was 1,035, based on FAB-MS, and the constituent amino acid composition was four leucines, one aspartic acid, one valine, and one glutamic acid. The $IC_{50}$ value was $10.1{\mu}M$ for $cPLA_2$, PI-003 significantly inhibited carrageenin induced paw edema and writhing syndrome.

Background: Tumor response to anticancer therapies can much be influenced by microenvironmental factors. In this study, we determined the effect of these microenvironmental factors on DNA methylation using A549 human lung adenocarcinoma cell line. Materials and Methods: We subjected A549 cells to various conditions mimicking tumor microenvironment including hypoxia, acidosis (sodium lactate), oxidative stress ($H_2O_2$), bystander effect (supernatant from doxorubicin (Dox)-treated or irradiated cells), and immune cell infiltration (supernatant from THP-1 or Jurkat T cells). Genomic DNA was isolated from these cells and analyzed for DNA methylation. Clonogenic cell survival, gene expression, and metabolism were analyzed in cells treated with some of these conditions. Results and Discussion: We found that DNA methylation level was significantly decreased in A549 cells treated with conditioned media from Dox-treated cells or Jurkat T cells, or sodium lactate, indicating an active transcription. To determine whether the decreased DNA methylation affects radiation sensitivity, we exposed cells to these conditions followed by 6 Gy irradiation and found that cell survival was significantly increased by sodium lactate while it was decreased by conditioned media from Dox-treated cells. We further observed that cells treated with conditioned media from Dox-treated cells exhibited significant changes in expression of genes including BAX and FAS (involved in apoptosis), NADPH dehydrogenase (mitochondria), EGFR (cellular survival) and RAD51 (DNA damage repair) while sodium lactate increased cellular metabolism rather than changing the gene expression. Conclusion: Our results suggest that various tumor microenvironmental factors can differentially influence DNA methylation and hence radiosensitivity and gene expression in A549 cancer cells.
신규 항진균물질 AF-011A의 생물학적 활성 및 구조분석

토양에서 분리한 Pseudomonas cepacia AF6008로부터 항진균물질 AF-011A를 분리, 정제하여 생물학적 활성을 조사한 결과 in vitro에서는 기조의 항진균물질들보다 매우 우수한 활성을 보였으나, 감염동물시험에서는 Amphotericin-B보다 역가가 열세한 상황으로 반전되었다. 그 이유는 혈청단백질과 AF-011A의 상관관계에 의한 것으로 추측된다. 반면, 농약활성은 역가 측면이나 광범위성 측면에서 매우 우수한 결과가 얻어졌다. NMR을 이용한 AF-011A의 구조분석으로 조성물이 모두 확인되었으며 1차구조를 규명하였다. AF-011A is a novel antifungal cyclic glyco-peptide isolated from Pseudomonas cepacia AF6008. AF-011A is a mixture of AF-011A_1 and AF-011A_2. Each compound contains glycine(1), serine(2), asparagines(1), 2,4-diaminobutyric acid(1). β-hydroxytyrosine(1), xylose(1) and a methylene chain amino acid(1). Additionally, A_1 contains one β-hydroxyasparagine that is replaced with an asparagines in A_2. AF-011A showed high in vitro antifungal activity against various animal and plant pathogenic fungi and caused no irritation on the skin of rabbits.
