In this study, dynamic stiffness analysis and static stiffness analysis were conducted by using nonlinear finite element analysis program and linear finite element analysis respectively to compare the results and to confirm reliability about results of nonlinear finite element analysis program. First, dynamic stiffness analysis has been performed on side out panel, crash box, sub-frame and BIW(Body In White) that has been connected with front bumper, rear bumper and sub-frame. Second, static stiffness analysis has been conducted on crash box and hood that has been modeled with spot weld elements and rigid body elements. Consequently, differences of dynamic and static stiffness analysis results through nonlinear finite element analysis program and linear finite element analysis were below 6 % but difference was more than 6 % as to dynamic stiffness of BIW.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The derangement of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) activity reduces dopamine synthesis and is implicated in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease. However, the extracellular modulator and intracellular regulatory mechanisms of TH have yet to be identified. Recently, high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) was reported to be actively secreted from glial cells and is regarded as a mediator of dopaminergic neuronal loss. However, the mechanism for how HMGB1 affects TH expression, particularly through the receptor for advanced glycation endproducts (RAGE), has not yet been investigated. We found that recombinant HMGB1 (rHMGB1) upregulates TH mRNA expression via simultaneous activation of JNK phosphorylation, and this induction of TH expression is blocked by inhibitors of RAGE and JNK. To investigate how TH expression levels change through the HMGB1-RAGE axis as a result of MPP<SUP>+</SUP> toxicity, we co-treated SN4741 dopaminergic cells with MPP<SUP>+</SUP> and rHMGB1. rHMGB1 blocked the reduction of TH mRNA following MPP<SUP>+</SUP> treatment without altering cell survival rates. Our results suggest that HMGB1 upregulates TH expression to maintain dopaminergic neuronal function via activating RAGE, which is dependent on JNK phosphorylation.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Activation of HMGB1-RAGE stimulates the TH expression in dopaminergic neuron cells. </LI> <LI> HMGB1 regulates TH expression via phosphorylation of JNK. </LI> <LI> HMGB1 rescues the TH expression without alteration of cell viability in MPP<SUP>+</SUP> treated dopaminergic neuron cells. </LI> </UL> </P>
New Watermarking Technique Using Data Matrix and Encryption Keys

Meaningful logos or random sequences have been used in the current digital watermarking techniques of 2D bar code. The meaningful logos can not only be created by copyright holders based on their unique information, but are also very effective when representing their copyrights. The random sequences enhance the security of the watermark for verifying one’s copyrights against intentional or unintentional attacks. In this paper, we propose a new watermarking technique taking advantage of Data Matrix as well as encryption keys. The Data Matrix not only recovers the original data by an error checking and correction algorithm, even when its high-density data storage and barcode are damaged, but also encrypts the copyright verification information by randomization of the barcode, including ownership keys. Furthermore, the encryption keys and the patterns are used to localize the watermark, and make the watermark robust against attacks, respectively. Through the comparison experiments of the copyright information extracted from the watermark, we can verify that the proposed method has good quality and is robust to various attacks, such as JPEG compression, filtering and resizing.

헌법상 개인정보자기결정권은 원칙적으로 자기의 개인정보를 공개하고 이용하는 것에 관하여 스스로 결정할 개개인의 권리를 뜻한다. 그러나 이러한 개인정보자기결정권은 자기의 정보에 관한 절대적인 지배권을 개인에게 부여하지는 않는다. 개인정보자기결정권과 개인정보의 공개와 이용에 관한 권리들 간에 갈등이 있음은 물론 부인될 수는 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고 가능한 한 양자 모두 그 작용을 발현하고 한 권리가 다른 권리를 통하여 절대적으로 차단되지 않을 것이 요구된다. 따라서 이 양자 간에 존재하는 이러한 긴장관계를 조정하는 것은 우선적으로 입법자의 과제이다. 그리고 입법자가 이러한 과제를 충실히 수행한 경우에 개개 경우에 구체적으로 개인정보보호가 우선되는지 아니면 개인정보의 공개나 이용이 중요시되는지를 판단해야만 하는 것이다. 헌법상 개인정보의 보호와 이용에 관한 다양한 기본권들이 있는 바, 이에 대한 고찰은 매우 중요하다. 왜냐하면 이러한 분석과 연구가 선행되어야만 관련 법제의 정비방향과 내용들이 체계적이고 구체적으로 제시될 수 있기 때문이다. 특히 2004년 이후 개인정보보호법 제정논의가 지루하게 이루어지는 과정 속에서 공공부문과 민간부문에서 개인정보보호 및 이용과 관련하여 일관된 원칙과 기준없이 많은 법률들이 만들어졌다. 이제부터 새로 제정된 개인정보보호법에 맞추어 기존의 관련 법률들을 재검토해야 한다. In principle, the constitutional right to self decision of personal information is the right to decide to open and use personal information for themselves. However this right to self decision of personal information doesn’t vest absolute control respecting own information to each individual. We can not deny, of course, that there exist conflicts between the right of decision for personal information and the right of opening and using personal information to the public. Nonetheless, both rights need to function desirably as far as possible. And it is required that one right should not disturb the other right. Therefore, it is a lawmaker’s tasks to arbitrate a dispute between the two. When lawmaker faithfully carries out one’s such duties, we have to judge concretely whether the protection of personal information should take precedence over opening and utilization of personal information to the public or not. Constitutionally, there are diverse rights concerning the protection and utilization of personal information. It is very important to study about these protection and utilization. The importance of preceding this study in advance lies in the fact that the improvement direction and contents of related legal system can be concretely and systematically suggested afterward. Later, particularly since 2004, many regulations were enacted without consistent principle and standard concerning the protection and utilization of personal information in the field of public and private sectors during the tedious process of enacting the personal information law. From now on, several established laws should be reconsidered according to the new personal information protection law.

A sunroof system, is opened and closed part of roof panel, has many benefits that are able to control ventilation and brightness. Particularly, wide openness of panorama sunroof gives drivers and passengers to feel openness. Kinds of conventional sunroof system are pop-up, out-sliding and in-sliding types. Recently, customers’ needs about wide openness of sunroof system have been increased. Redesign of BIW is inevitable for installation of sunroof system on BIW. In the past, it was possible to reduce to install the sunroof without the redesigning BIW. However, it needs to redesign BIW for wide sunroof for wide openness currently. Therefore structures of sunroof system must redeem reducing strength and stiffness by structural alterations of BIW. In this paper, methods of analysis and test are proposed for evaluation of sunroof system’s performance. Through these methods, structural performances are evaluated about in-sliding and panorama type sunroof system.
WWW 대리 서버를 위한 가변 크기 개체 캐시의 대체 기법

인터넷의 사용량은 WWW(World Wide Web)의 출현에 의해 빠른 속도로 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 네트웍 통신량을 줄이는 방법이 요구되고 있다. 캐싱은 통신량을 줄이는 방법으로서 잘 알려져 있으며, WWW 서버, 클라이언트, 대리 서버(proxy server)에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 일반적인 캐시에서는 서로 다른 크기를 가지는 개체들이 고정된 크기의 페이지 단위로 나뉘어져 관리된다. WWW에서의 개체는 전체가 한 덩어리로 다루어지기 때문에, 캐시 대체 (replacement)에 있어 기존의 고정 캐싱과는 다른 방법이 요구 된다. 이 논문에서는 몇 가지의 가변 크기 개체 캐시의 대체 알고리듬들을 제안하고, 각 알고리듬의 성능 및 개선 방향을 trace-driven 모의 실험을 통해 검토한다. The advent of the Web service brought out the explosive growth of Internet, which necessitates a scheme to reduce the network traffic. Caching is a popular method in reducing such traffic, and it is widely used in many Webservers, clients, and proxy servers. Since an object of Web service is accessed as a whole, the cache replacement scheme should be different from others that usually treat a piece of an object as a unit of caching. In this paper, we propose several replacement strategies for variable size object cache. The performances and possible improvements of the proposed schemes are studied by trace-driven simulations.
