      • Rat의 복강내에 투여한 5-fluorouracil-polyglycolic acid 제형이 장기에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        For more effective intraperitoneal chemotherapy, the authers made 5-fluorouracil-polyglycolic acid composite disks(FU-PGA disks) with 5-fluorouracil and polyglycolic acid, a biodegradable polymer. We inserted the FU-PGA disk into the peritoneal cavites of Sprague-Dawley male rats, the control and three experimental groups; one FU-PGA disk insert group(300mg/kg), two FU-PGA disk insert group(600mg/kg), and three FU-PGA disk insert group(900mg/kg). The control group received a similar number of PGA disk inserts. A pharmacokinetic study was performed to measure the 5-fluorouracil concentration in the peritoneal fluid, blood, and tissues(liver, kidney and heart) at 24 hours, 72hours and 168 hours after insertion of the FU-PGA disk. Light and electron microscopic studies were done. The results were as follows: 1) The number of white blood cells and platelets decreased after FU-PGA insertion. The degree was proportional to the duration and amounts inserted. The change in the number of red blood cells varied slightly. 2) Light microscopically, slight changes were noted at 168 hours in the 3 disk insert group (900mg/kg). Mild fatty change and hepatocyte degeneration around the central veins of the liver were noted, with vacuolar degeneration in the proximal convoluted tubules of the kidney. 3) Electron microscopically,the liver showed focal increases of lipid droplets in the hepatocytes, and irregular nuclear membrane with focal nucleolar segregation of the fibrillar and granular elements. Also the double membranous structure of the hepatocytes and Kupffer cells was widened with bleb formation. The kidney showed wide separation of the nuclear double membrane in the proximal convoluted tubular cells and mesangial cells, with vacuolation and myelin figure formation in the mitochondria of the proximal convoluted tubular cells, at 72 hours and 168 hours in the 2 to 3 FU-PGA insert groups. The heart showed focal loss of cristae,vacuolation and myelin figure formation in the mitochondria of the 2 to 3 FU-PGA insert groups. In conclusion, despite the large amont of FU-PGA inserted, the histopathological changes in the liver, kidney and heart were slight, and consonant with the very low amount of 5-fluorouracil concentrations detected in the liver, kidney and heart. The above results suggest that the FU-PGA composite can serve as a new device for releasing drugs in a controlled manner and easily targeted to intraperitoneal organs. This device can improve the efficacy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy for gastric cancer.

      • 강박스 거더교 콘크리트 바닥판에 발생하는 크리이프와 건조수축에 관한 연구

        It studies the non-structural crack factors that are produced in Steel Box Girder Bridge concrete floor plate using analytical method. It mainly studies humidity and design standard of concrete strength. It used MIDAS CIVIL Ver 5.4.0, a general structure analysis program that applies drying shrinkage rate of domestic road bridge design standard and standard value of creep coefficient, CEF-FIP standard equation and ACI standard equation from the aspect of creep, drying shrinkage and hydration heat to see the effect of the two factors on concrete crack and found the following result. The analytical results of this study showed that the initial stress, which was obtained by ACI standard, exceeds the allowable tensile stress between 5 to 18 days. This result means that even if a bridge is designed and constructed according to design standard, the bridge can have cracks due to various variables such as drying shrinkage, hydration heat and creep that produce stress in slab.

        Any one can easily approach and search fur a analytical result of the traffic volume in the internet, therefore, this paper's purpose is the propose of application-possibility in the Internet GIS and the valuation from a traffic analysis. As the result of study, grasped the traffic flowing beforehand, and so there was a good possibility of more harmonious traffic drainage, that is, we can previously suppose the section of a traffic congestion, it formed an opportunity of using the bypass if traffic congestion is extreme.

      • 인공신경망의 B.P알고리즘을 이용한 위성영상분류

        최근 신경망 이론을 이용한 연구가 각분야에서 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 위성영상분류에서의 신경망 분류는 GIS의 기초 자료의 정확도 향상을 위하여 많은 연구가 진행중이다. 본 연구에서는 Landsat TM 영상을 이용하여 인공신경망과 최대우도법을 비교하여 인공신경망의 위성영상분류정확도의 평가에 대하여 연구하고자한다. 본 연구에서 사용된 위성영상은 Landsat TM영상으로 부산광역시에 있는 가덕도를 대상으로 하였으며, UTM좌표는 동 187.206.00 m, 서 180,996.00 m, 남 164,427.00m, 북 175,065.00m로 나타났다. Landsat TM 데이터에서는 6번 데이터를 제외한 나머지를 이용하였다. 위의 연구결과를 보면 신경망 분류기법은 토지 피복분류에서 적용이 가능함을 알 수가 있다. Recently, a study used neural network architecture has been took place in various branches of studies. Particularly, the application of neural network in the satellite image classification has been studied for the improvement of accuracy of basis data for GIS(Geo-spatial Information System). This paper presents the accuracy of B.P algorithm in the artificial neural network classification, after a comparison between neural network classification and MLC(Maximum Likelihood Classification) using LandsatTM image. The study area is Gaduc Island in Pusan that lies within the Universal Transverse Mercator(UTM) Zone 52, and ranges in UTM coordinates from 180,996.00 meters west to 187,206.00 meter east and from175,065.00 meters north to 165,427.00 meters south. For the classification, authors used the 6 band except 6th band in the Landsat TM. The BP of neural network provided the classification accuracy as good as MLC.

      • 저밀도 폴리에틸렌에서 불순물 혼합량에 따른 트리진전과 방전펄스와의 관계 연구

        It is well known that, when enough high voltage is applied to a high-voltage cable with an insulator, treeing phenomenon can occur due to void or impurities such as dust, metal powder, etc. inside the insulator. Also,it is known that this treeing phenomenon drastically shortens the life of the insulator. In this paper, we investigate the effects of the mixture ratio of impurities to the Low-Density Polyethylene used as an insulator on the treeing phenomenon based on the electrical characteristics. As impurity samples, Al₂O₃ and SiO₂with the particle diameter of 44μm have been used for different weight mixture ratios of 1%, 5%, and 10%, respectively. Since the treeing phenomenon occurring in the sample, based material of Low-Density Polye thylene mixed with 1% impurity can easily be observed with an optical microscope, we have first investigated the relationship between the result measured from electrical characteristics and the one obtained from observation with an optical microscope. Specifically, it has been found that the total number of pulses measured from the eletrical waveform of the treeing phenomenon is closely related with the growth length of the tree observed with an optical microscope. Based on these results, the growth length of the tree for the other sample materials with 5% and 10% impurities could be estimated from the total number of the electrical tree pulses for these sample materials, respectively. As a result, it has been found that the effect of the treeing phenomenon decreases as the mixture ratio increases. Also, it is shown that the total number of the electrical tree pulses makes it possible to predict the effect of the treeing phenomenon without observing with an optical microscope.

      • 저면 반사파를 이용한 피로 균열의 정량적 평가에 관한 연구

        Fatigue cracks due to thermal stratification or corrosion in pipelines of nuclear power plants can cause serious problems on reactor cooling system. Therefore, these cracks must be detected before the crack growth to ensure the reliable operation. Ultrasonic techniques have been employed for detecting and sizing these fatigue cracks propagated from the back wall of pipelines. But, it is very difficult to sizing fatigue cracks because of low amplitude of the diffracted tip signal, high noise signal and ultrasound transmission through the closed crack surface. In this study, the signal reflected from the back wall is adopted instead of weak tip signals. In addition, the rate of decrease in amplitude of reflected signals due to reflection at the crack surface and diffraction at the crack tip is used to size fatigue cracks.

        The purpose of this study is to provide ergonomic research data for the redesign of the car license plate in Korea. Several alternatives considering fonts, stroke-width ratios, color contrasts were considered in order to find the best one in terms of the reading distance. The typography having mixed type numeric forms with quasi-Gothic and NAMEL, stroke-width ratio of 1 : 7∼1 : 8, the black on yellow contrast showed a good reading distance.

        음향방출과 SFC 시험법에 의한 금속복합재료의 기지재 열처리 효과에 따른 미시적 변형기구 특성 평가

        금속기지 복합재료의 미시적 파손기구는 작용하중의 방향, 재료의 열처리 상태, 기지재 및 강화재의 특성, 섬유체적률 등 여러 인자의 영향을 받는다. 이중 특히 재료의 열처리는 금속기지 복합재료의 기계적 특성을 지배하는 주요한 인자인 강화섬유와 기지재 사이의 계면특성에 큰 영향을 준다. 강화섬유와 기지재는 매우 큰 열팽창계수 차이를 가지기 때문에 금속기지 복합재료의 제조과정에 있어서 급격한 온도강하가 있을 경우에는 강화섬유와 기지재 사이의 계면에서는 잔류응력이 형성되며 이 때 발생한 잔류응력은 금속복합재료의 파손기구는 물론 기지재와 강화섬유 사이의 계면전단강도에도 중대한 영향을 미칠 수도 있다. 따라서 금속복합재료에 있어서 기지재와 강화재 사이의 계면전단강도에 대한 잔류응력의 영향을 평가하는 것은 금속복합재료의 실질적인 응용측면에서는 매우 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 복합재료에 있어서의 음향방출 기법과 SFC시험법을 동시에 이용하면 기지재와 강화재의 균열 및 기지재와 강화재 사이의 계면분리현상에 의한 미시적 파손기구를 명확하게 분리, 관찰할 수 있는 크나큰 이점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 음향방출기법과 SFC시험법을 이용하 여 금속복합재료의 열처리 효과에 따른 미시적 파손기구 및 계면전단강도 변화특성을 체계적으로 연구, 고찰하였다. Metal matrix composites(MMCs) have been rapidly becoming one of the strongest candidates for structural materials for high temperature application. It is well recognized that MMCs always experience at least one large cool-down from processing temperature before any significant applied service loading. Due to the large difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the fiber and matrix, large thermal residual stresses generally develop in composites. It was reported from many previous studies that the effects of thermal residual stress on mechanical properties and fracture behavior were much more complex and dramatic than conventional engineering materials. Therefore it is crucial to evaluate the effect of heat treatment which changes the characteristic of distribution of thermal residual stress in MMCs. Single fiber composite(SFC) test based on the balance in a micromechanical model is a quite convenient method to evaluate interfacial interfacial shear strength(IFSS) and the failure mode of composite. In this study the effect of heat treatment on IFSS and the microscopic failure mechanism of MMC is investigated by combining acoustic emission(AE) technique with SFC test. The characteristic of AE signal. IFSS and microscopic failure mechanism due to heat treatment condition discussed.
