디지털 시대와 시의 대응 방식 : 이원의 시를 중심으로 on the focus of poem of Lee Won

Now, it comes digital age. According to the change, literature environment is changed and modern poem is affected by it. In this paper, we will study how we should confront the movement. There is two opposite views between aggressive and passive about the spreading of digital culture. The views are divided as four again according to distinction of media. Digital poem is considered as two cases; 1) to create a new style of poem based on digital media, 2) to rewrite existing poem through digital media. Among the existing poem, there are two cases; 1) poem which reflects in affect of new media aggressively, 2) poem which adhere to existing method. We pay attention to the former in this paper, particularly we study poem of Lee Won among them closely. Poem of Lee Won considers affect of digital culture as absolute one and sees through the change which affect give rise to on world-view and consciousness. A poet persists in properties of existing media, in order to penetrate into a core of the change of times in general and build it as concrete actuality. Properties of the printed media appear in the poem of Lee Won diversely, that is, the method of realistic description, the clear visual image, the consistent inner description, and the integrated perception etc. Poem of Lee Won express the diverse change of life and the problem of subject dramatically through the concrete imagenation on digital age. The poet provoke the fundermental crisis which digital culture bring about as he asks a ontological question on modern life and subject. Poem of Lee Won predicts the digital age critically by thinking the printed media linearly and integrately. We consider her poem as a useful strategy which is able to predict and control the revolutionary change that will be come in future.

Determination of the optimum porosity for 2‑CEES adsorption by activated carbon fiber from various precursors

In this study, we prepared ACFs with a high specific surface area from various precursors (rayon, pitch, and oxidized polyacrylonitrile-based fibers) by a steam-activation technique and investigated the effects of the micropore and mesopore fraction on 2-CEES adsorption behaviors. The activation time was precisely controlled so that the activation yield was in the range of 35–40% to ensure the mechanical properties of the ACFs. The N2 adsorption isotherm characteristics at 77K were confirmed by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller, Barrett–Joyner–Halenda and non-local density functional theory equations. The adsorption capacities of the ACF were measured by breakthrough experiments in the gas phase (750 μg/mL of 2-CEES in N2 flow). The removal efficiency of the ACFs was evaluated and compared with that of AC. From the results, specific surface areas and total pore volume of the ACF were determined to be 1380–1670 m2/g and 0.61–0.82 cm3/g, respectively. It was also observed that various pore characteristics of ACF were found to be dependent on crystallite structure of each precursor. The break through time (C/C0 = 0.10) was in the order of Oxi-Pan-H-9-2 < Saratoga AC < Rayon-H-9-3 < Pitch-H-9-4. This indicates that 2-CEES adsorption capacity could be a function not only of specific surface area or total pore volume, but also of sub-mesopore volume fraction in the range of 1.5–2.5 nm of adsorbents.

Recently, the robustness against daily impact is important according to portablization and downsizing of mobile electronics. Especially, almost parts of cellular phone should undergo drop test when they fall 1.5 m above ground. This test simulates the case when cellular phone slips through user's fingers while he is talking on the phone. This paper studies a drop test of auto focusing (AF) actuator for camera module in cellular phone. This component is composed of voice coil motor (VCM) as an actuator and leaf spring as a guide and suspension. The leaf spring's deformation is essential for the test because its permanent distortion disables the focusing, and then, a high quality photograph cannot be obtained. Up to now the drop test has been carried out after fabricating real AF actuator. We propose a dropt test model which simulates the drop test based on finite element analysis. This model makes us enable investigate the stress acting on the clamping and curved parts of leaf spring. Stress over Von Mises criterion lets the spring deformed permanently, and then AF actuator malfunctioned, It helps us to design and modify AF actuator without manufacturing the real product. And also, it saves the time and cost for the development of new products.

Linguistic Variations between English News Headlines in the U.S. and Those in Korea

Lee, Hye-Kyung, 2012, linguistic Variations between English News Headlines in the U.S. and Those in Korea, Linguistic Research 29(2), 329-350, This paper aims to address the similarities and differences between headlines of English political news in America and those in Korea. Acknowledging the contribution of the previous research towards the understanding of news headlines, the current paper investigates how the composing of news headlines is influenced by and interrelated with extra-linguistic factors such as the consideration of the target audience`s knowledge states or interests. For this purpose, two sets of data are collected from major online news sites within both countries and the collected data are classified according to the working criteria, especially in terms of employed structural patterns. The results regarding the comparison of the two sets of headlines reveal that headlines in Korean data employ shorter sentential headlines and a smaller variety of tense/aspect of sentences compared to American English counterparts. It is also discovered that cultural factors such as naming conventions practiced in the linguistic/cultural communities are taken into account. These differences are attributed to the consideration of the target audience`s multi-faceted states such as knowledge states, beliefs, or interests. At the same time, the two sets of data show similarities in terms of the variety of structural patterns they deploy.

김남천의 『사랑의 水族館』에 나타난 '현대'의 성격과 '현대청년'

Aquarium of Love written by Nam-cheon Kim is a novel that was published serially from 1939 to 1940 in Chosun Ilbo. It features the characteristics of modern times that isolates the main character. The author also delineated them in his previous work. While Gwang-joon Kim, brother of Gwang-ho Kim, who ended up in dying of acute tuberculosis after abandoning his old-style wife and cohabiting together with a barmaid was .1 prototype of previous generation that implied the background of the times when the ideology of the past socialists collapsed, Gwang-ho Kim, the main character of this work, represents "the characteristics of modern times". Nam-cheon Kim already showed his interest in the way of the world and public morals through the theories of complaint literature and view literature. Accordingly, his delineation of the characters including Gwang-ho Kim and Gyeong'-hee Lee is just a complaint about and view of the then social reality, and the features of their living were the epitome of the social reality of the times. In this work, Nam-cheon Kim explores the love, belief, the way of the world, and public morals of young people who represent "the characteristics of the times" and are represented by Gwang-ho Kim and Gyeong-hee Lee. Outwardly, however, the story progresses with a focus on the plot of conflicts and reconciliation that arise in the course of love and marriage of Gwan-ho Kim and Gyeong-hee Lee. Furthermore, since the real time from 1939 to 1940 and the internal time of the story coincide, the work fully reproduces the sense of reality of the times. The reason why Nam-cheon Kim positively delineates the new senses of "modernized young people" is that vogue is closely associated with productive relationship and it is a means to sensitively view the public morals of 'modern times'.

This study was designed to exam the aged's needs for spiritual nursing care. The purpose was to serve as a basis for the development of spiritual nursing practice. The major findings are as follows : 1. The degree of needs for spiritual nursing care as area was that needs of love and relationship mean 22.0, needs of meaning and object mean 28.2, needs of forgiving mean 13.5. Total needs for spiritual nursing care mean 63.7, which was on the upper middle level. The needs of meaning and object was rated highest. 2. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of love and relatiohship wasn't significanlty different. 3. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of meaning and object was significantly different according to two factors : age(F=7.260, p=0.001), religion(F=5.275, p=0.001). Higher needs of meaning and object was possessed by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other. 4. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, four factors made a significantly difference to needs of forgiving : sex(t=-2.851, p=0.006), age(F=8.201, p=0.001), religion(F=6.928, p=0.000), disease(t=2.327, p=0.024). Higher needs of forgiving was possessed by man than woman, by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other, by the one who have disease than the other.

치차로스의 <시적인 순간> 중 ‘철새’, ‘블루스 왈츠’, ‘나비 래그타임’, ‘서부기차’ 분석 및 교수법적 제안

치차로스(Christos Tsitsaros, b. 1961)는 미국 일리노이 대학교의 피아노 교수학과 교수이며, 피아노 교육용 작품을 많이 작곡하였다. 본 논문은 국내에 잘 알려지지 않은 그의 작품에 대한 정보를 제공하고 한정된 레퍼토리의 선택지를 넓히는데 기여하고자 그의 교육용 피아노 작품인 <시적인 순간>에 나타난 음악적 특징을 살펴보았으며, 중급 학생들에게 효과적인 교수방법을 제시하였다. <시적인 순간>은 총 8곡으로 구성되어있으며 이 중 ‘철새’, ‘블루스 왈츠’, ‘나비 래그타임’, ‘서부기차’를 살펴보았다. ‘철새’는 편안하고 서정적이며 아르페지오와 당김음 페달 교육에 효과적이다. ‘블루스 왈츠’는 불분명한 조성감으로 몽환적 분위기를 자아내며 리듬적 유연함을 배울 수 있다. ‘나비 래그타임’은 스윙 리듬과 다양한 아티큘레이션의 표현을 공부할 수 있다. ‘서부기차’는 빠르고 긴장감을 유발하는 곡으로 다양한 페달의 사용을 습득할 수 있다. 이 곡들은 길이가 짧고 단순하며, 다양한 음악양식과 재즈적인 요소를 지니고 있어 중급 학생들이 흥미롭게 학습할 수 있다. 본 논문을 통해 더 많은 교육용 레퍼토리가 확대되고 그의 교육용 피아노 작품들에 대한 관심과 연구가 이어지길 기대한다. Christos Tsitsaros(b. 1961) is a Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL in the United States, and has composed many educational piano pieces. On the purpose of providing information on his compositions, which are not well known in Korea, and contributing to expand educational piano repertoire, this article examines the musical features of his < Poetic Moments > and suggests effective teaching methods for intermediate level students. < Poetic Moment > consists of a total of 8 character pieces: ‘Migrating Birds’, ‘Blues Valsette’, ‘Butterfly Rag’, and ‘Westbound Train’ among them were investigated. ‘Migrating Birds’ is easy to listen, lyrical and effective for polishing arpeggio skills and syncopated pedaling. ‘Blues Valsette’ creates a dreamy atmosphere with complex harmonies and students may learn rhythmic flexibility. ‘Butterfly Rag’ employs swing rhythm and diverse articulations. ‘Westbound Train’ has fast running tempo increasing tension and good for learning various pedaling. Each piece is short and simple attracting intermediate level students’ interest by conveying various musical styles and jazz elements. Through this article, I hope that more educational repertoire will be expanded and interest and research on Tsitsaros’ educational piano compositions will continue.

가평 전주이씨묘 출토복식 고찰

In 1995, the costumes were restored in an unknown woman's tomb at the Jeonju Lee's family cemetery in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-Do, and there are currently nine items remaining. In this study, we first introduced these 9 relics to academia and analyzed the morphological characteristics of the costumes. We also estimated the time and person of burial compared with costumes unearthed from other burials. Jeogories (short jacket) are all four items. One of these items was unusual in shape, and the upper part of the seop (gusset) was wrinkled and shaped. This type of Jeogori appears only till the 1520s in other tombs. There are also two skirts, one of which is characterized by a superimposed pattern. The top and bottom / middle part of the skirt were rolled up, and the skirt, which was double-rolled up in this way, was first discovered. An analysis of the shape of Jeogori and skirt indicated that the person buried in the Jeonju Lee's family tomb was believed to have survived until the early 16th century. Based on these estimated periods, as a result of looking at the genealogy of Jeonju Lee's family, it was concluded that the tomb was probably a woman named Lee Geum Myeong (李金命) born in the mid-15C and died between the late 15C and the early 16C.
