      • 裁植距離가 輸出用 가지(Solanum melongena. L)의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to investigate effect of the planting distance of Eggplant(Solanum melongena. L). These grafting seeding "Torobambica", rootstock "Jang Ja" and "Chuk Yang" were tested to investigate the differences between the growth of eggplants and the numbers of eggplants which can be influenced by the planting distance such as 100×50cm, 100×60cm and 100×70cm. The results are summarized as follows: 1.The plant height, leaf length, leaf, width, leaf area and the number were good for the growth change of each cultivar from planting distance such as 100×70cm. 2.The grafting seedlings "Chuk YanglTorobambica" grew and developed better than "Jang Ja" and "Jang Ja/Torobambica" 3.Effects of scion on the rootstock for planting distance "Chuk Yang" grew and developed better than "Jang Ja"

        These grafting seeding "Torobambica", rootstock "Jang Ja" and "Chuk Yang" were tested to investigate the differences between the growth of eggplants and the number of eggplants which can be influenced by the growth retardant aerosol. For the test of the growth retardant aerosol, the flower clusters were sprayed with one hundred units of Tomatotone liquid and with three hundred units of GA3 on the day they flowered and sprayed two or three days before flowering. The results were as follows: 1.According to the growth retardant aerosol of Tomatotone, the plant height was the tallest at 226.21 cm with foliar spray and the high Marketable fruit was good at the percent of 77.38 with a flowering spray and Tomatotone on the day they flowered. 2.According to the growth retardant aerosol of GA3, the plant's height was the tallest at 229.27cm with foliage which was sprayed every week. The high quality fruit was good at the percent of 69.11 with a flowering spray and GA3 on the day they flowered. 3.According to Tomatotone and GA3 treatments of the plant growth regulators, the plant's height was the tallest sprayed every week and the high Marketable fruit was good at the flowering spray and Tomatotone on the day they flowered. and Yield per 10a was good at the flowering spray and Tomatotone on the day they flowered.

        Spinal epidural abscess is an uncommon but readily diagnosable and treatable potential cause of paralysis and death. The incidence of spinal epidural abscess is approximately one to two cases per 10,000 hospital admissions in the United States. The symptoms of spinal epidural abscess are varied but include lower back pain, fever, local tenderness and neurological deficit, especially in such high risk groups as patients with diabetes, intravenous drug abuse, chronic renal failure, alcoholism, liver disease and immunocompromization. Infections of the epidural space originate from contiguous spread or via hematogenous routes from a distant source. Cutaneous sites of infection are the most common remote sources, especially in intravenous drug users. S. aureus accounts for most spinal epidural abscess infections, followed by streptococci and gram-negative anaerobes. We here report a case of spinal epidural abscess in renal abscess patient complaining of fever and back pain. A 71-year old female patient was admitted to epigastric pain and oliguria. She had been diagnosed as acute renal failure and treated with hydration. After third hospital days, she shows a persistent fever and drowsy mentality. Abdominal computed tomography demonstrated renal abscess. She was treated with intravenous antibiotics, third cephalosporin. Blood cultures and urinary culture revealed Escherichia, coli. After fourteenth hospital days, she developed back pain, muscle weakness and decreased sensation of lower extremities. Spine MRI demonstrated spinal epidural abscess with spinal cord compression. Surgical drainage with laminectomy was performed. After treatment of intravenous antibiotics and surgical drainage, she discharged with improved back pain and neurological symptom.

      • 燒結鐵의 硬度 및 組織에 미치는 密度의 영향에 관한 硏究

        This study has been investigated into the change of hardness and microstrure as a function of density for ferrous sintered alloys. The specimens were prepared from Sweden Ho¨gana¨s atomized iron powder(ASC 100.29) and partially prealloyed powder (Distaloy AB) with 1.75% Ni, 1.5% Cu, and 0.3% Mo based on the same iron powder which is typically used in P/M parts production was blended with 0.2% grephite powder, and then compacted, sintered and carburized. The results obtained from the experiment are summarized as follows; 1. The green density increased with the increase of compacting pressure, and the compressibility decreased with adding alloy composition. 2. The true hardness was higher than the apparent hardness in the ferrous sintered metals. And the difference between apparent and true hardness values decreased with decreasing porosity or adding 3. The difference between the apparent hardness values of different sections was reduced with decreasing porosity, adding alloy composition or being longer carburization times. 4. The apparent hardness values after gas carburizing treatment were highly dependent upon the density and carburization depth. 5. After gas carburizing treatment the hardness values both on the surface and in the core were increased as the porosity decrease. In a certain intermediation zone, however the hardness values of the low density was higher than those of the high density. 6. The average grain size was larger with decreasing porosity, and the homogeneous microstructure could be obtained with decreasing porosity.

      • 合成洗劑 生分解 및 環境毒性에 관한 硏究

        Alkyl benzene sulfonate, Persists for long Periods in stream because of its resistance to biologic degradation. Its biodegradation is varied in the environment. This investigation was undertaken in oder to know the biodegradation of synthetic detergents which are comprising soft and hard form from may to september 1990. The biodegradation by settling, aeration and activated sludge were determined. The reduction rates of ABS were 22.92%, 10.05% by settlings for 5 days at 25℃ and 52.20%, 82.74% by aeration and average rate 90.98% of LAS by the activated sludge processing. When activated sludge Processing is carried out in the 30% of LAS, the significant downfall of the biodegradation rate to 87.59% is caused by the withering up of bacteria activity as the poison of LAS directly affects microorganism. In dealing with the TLm of LAS systemed synthetic detergent during 24 hours has revealed 40 ppm and the TLm during 48 hours has revealed 24 ppm.

        The economic impact on the environment and human health caused by conventional chemical intensive agriculture is causing scientist to re-assess the development of agricultural systems. Pesticides and processed chemical fertilizers have been shown to becausing environmental disruption which will nudermine the resource base on which agriculture production depends. The rise of sustainale agriculture, integrated pest management, organic agriculture, and other forms of alternative agriculture are a result of varmers and researchers searching for new solutions to the problem of food production which does not endanger the all important agriculture are a result of farmers and researchers endanger the all important agriculture resource base. Organic agriculture is one approach which has been developing more quickly in recent years with increasing consumer purchasing power. Organic agriculture has shown itself to be sa or more profitable, and in many cases as productive as conventional agricultural methods on some crops. Further development of organic agriculture, and low-input agriculture will require further modification of policies which overwhelmingly support high imput, chemical intensive agriculture.

        고부가가치의 강원도산 실리카질 원료인 규석의 활용도를 향상시키기 위하여 명진규석과 옥계규석의 화학조성과 열처리온도에 따른 열분석, X-선회절분석, 분쇄조건, 수축률, 부피비중, 내화도, 흡수율 및 백새도를 조사하여 강원도산 규석의 화학적 물리적 성질을 규명하였다. This work is to observe the characteristics of kangwon-do quartz(Myungjin and Okgea) for using a high quality materials. The chemical and physical properities of the raw quartz are tested chemical composition, DTA, X-ray diffraction, optimun grinding condition, bulk density, refractoriness, shrinkage, water absorption and whiteness.
