Data Addressing 방법을 사용한 동기 BPSK DS/CDMA 시스템

본 논문은 정보에 따라 확산부호를 할당하는 방법을 사용하는 동기 BPSK DS/CDMA 시스템에서 발생하는 다중접속간섭을 제거시키기 위한 시스템을 제시한다. CDMA 시스템에서 사용자 신호의 주파수대역을 확산시키기 위한 확산부호로 Simplex 부호를 사용하며, 이러한 부호를 사용자의 정보에 따라 할당한다. 본 연구에서는 Simplex 부호를 확산부호로 사용한 DS/CDMA 시스템에서 발생하는 다원접속간섭을 제거할 수 있는 간섭제거모델을 제시한다. AMGN 환경하에서 임의의 사용자에 의해서 발생하는 간섭을 해석하고, 동일 사용자 측면에서 일반 수신기와 성능을 비교한다. This paper presents a system to cancel the multi-user interference of synchronous BPSK DS/CDMA systems. In the code-division multiple access(CDMA) scheme, the spectrum of the uster's signal is directly spreaded by means of the Simplex code. And the different Simplex codes are assigned by user's imformation bits. This thesis presents a interference cancellation model to cancel the multi-user interference in DS/CDMA systems by using Simplex codse as a spreading sequence. In AWGN environment, we analyze interence generated from other users and compare the resulting performance with that of the conventional receiver

The authous report a rare case of gunshot injury to the head by a nail-gun which was treated by stereotactic surgery. In the case a 23-year-old male patient, presented with semicomatose mentality and decerebrated rigidity. The large nail was located in the 3rd ventricular area in the mid-line with vertical stature. The entry point was identified 1㎝ anterior to the coronal suture line and just lateral to the sagittal suture line. The foreign body was removed stereotactically with the guidance of fluoroscope. But he died of initial severe brain damage.

This paper describes the statistical analysis techniques for the surface roughness assessment of polished surfaces. In experiments, the polishing process of the sample surfaces which are manufactured by ball end mill is consist of two steps; the cusp removal process and the surface finishing process. For the cusp removal process, the criterion of cusp removal was established from the power spectrum analysis to assess the change of the cusp removal rate. For the finishing process, the surface was polished by the rotational CBN tool and vibration wood tool. And the surface quality of polished surface was assessed using the functional parameters based on the statistical values of surface profiles. Consequently, the surface finish performance of the polished surface using the vibration wood tool was improved.
Actinobacillus sp. EL-9로부터 생산된 생분해성 폴리에스터의 구조 및 특성

Actinobacillus sp. EL-9로 부터 추출, 정제된 PHB를 GC, IR 및 NMR로 분석한 후, 그 구조를 확인하였으며, 열적 성질, 점도 및 분자량 등을 검토하였다. Actinobacillus sp. EL-9로부터 추출, 정제된 PHB를 IR,500㎒ ^1H-NMR 및 125㎒ ^13C-NMR 를 이용하여 조성분석을 실시한 결과, 본 공시균이 생산한PHB는3-hydroxybutyric acid 의 homopolymer임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 PHB의melting temperature(T_m)은 169.7℃임을 알 수 있었으며, crystallization trmperature(T_c)는 69.13℃이었다. PHB의 점도는 1.08×10^6(±3,000)이었다. In this study, the composition and characteristic of poly-β-hydroxybutyrate(PHB) biosynthesized by Actinobacillus sp. EL-9 are investigated. PHB produced by Actinobacillus sp. EL-9 was identified as the homopolymer of 3-hydroxybutyric acid(PHB)by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy analysis. The melting temperature(T_m), and crystallization trmperature(T_c)of PHB was 169.7℃ and 69.13℃, respectively. the viscosity on the basis of Brookfield viscometer was 6.01㎗/g. The viscosity-average molecular weight estimated by Mark-Ho-wink-Sakurada equation was 1.08×10^6(±3,000).

In our previous study with sequenced data from DNA barcoding region of Korean Tettigonia showed that the Jeju population of T. ussuriana (JJ-Tu) more closely related to T. dolichoptera than mainland population of T. ussuriana (ML-Tu) with low genetic distance (0.87-1.05%). In mitochondrial systematics for a eukaryotic organism including orthopteran insects, sequence data from a short mitochondrial DNA fragment should be trait with caution because nuclear mitochondrial pseudogenes (numts) can be unintentionally coamplified when we use universal primers based on a PCR method. In this study, we retried their sequence analysis to avoid coamplication of numts in sequences from cox1 and cox2 genes. and scrutinized each sequence. The molecular evidences (cox1, cox2, and nad1) for Korean species suggest that JJ-Tu is more closely related to T. dolichoptera (0.76-1.23% in cox1; 1.23-1.54% in cox2; 1.01-1.35% in nad1) than ML-Tu (3.77-4.59% in cox1; 3.61-4.76% in cox2; 2.03-3.25 in nad1). The genetic distance of sequence data from cox1 between JJ-Tu and ML-Tu satisfied a requirement for species-distinction by comparing genetic distance between Tettigonia species. Moreover, JJ-Tu is a geographic population of Tettigonia with different morphological traits that is supported with formed a cluster. Although JJ-Tu closely related to T. dolichoptera with low genetic distance, we will determine its taxonomic status through integrative taxonomic study.

Renal lymphangiectasia is a rare cystic kidney disorder. This disorder has been termed renal lymphangioma, renal lymphangiomatosis, pararenal lymphatic cyst. We report on a 32-year-old man admitted with complaints of abdominal discomfort, in whom unilateral renal lymphangiectasia with renal vein thrombosis was diagnosed. Abdominal computed tomography revealed left perirenal fluid collection with multiloculation. Left renal vein was completely obliterated due to thrombosis and inferior vena cava (IVC) was partially obliterated. Perirenal fluid collection and renal vein thrombosis were treated initially with percutaneous drainage and anticoagulation therapy. The biochemical features of the drained fluid were compatible with lymphatic fluid. Since there was no decrease in the amount of daily drainage, left nephrectomy and IVC thrombectomy was performed on the 34th day of hospitalization. Left kidney was enlarged (15×10×18 ㎝, 750 g) and composed of numerous smooth, thin-walled cysts. Pathologic diagnosis was renal lymphangiectasia.

목 적: 히스톤탈아세틸화효소 억제제는 그 자체의 항암효과뿐만 아니라 방사선 감작제로서의 효과가 점차 분명해져가고 있다. 최근 Class I 특이적인 히스톤탈아세틸화효소 억제제의 개발로 계층 특이적인(class specific) 연구가 가능해짐에 따라, 본 연구에서는 서로 다른 히스톤탈아세틸화효소억제제의 방사선감작효과를 비교함과 동시에 p53 발현도의 차이가 히스톤탈아세틸화효소억제제의 방사선 감수성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 이를 위해 p53 발현도가 매우 낮은 HeLa 세포에 p53의 핵 외 수송을 억제하여 세포질 내 분해를 차단하는 Leptomycin B를 처리하여 p53의 발현도를 현저하게 높인 후, Trichostatin와 SK7041의 방사선 민감도를 비교 관찰하였다. 결 과: 세포생존곡선, SER 및 SF2를 비교 분석 시, p53의 발현이 높은 Leptomycin B 처리군에서 TrichostatinA가 Class I HDAC만을 억제하는 SK7041에 비해 유의하게 높은 방사선 감작효과를 나타내었다. 이는 p53이 Class I 특이적 억제제인 SK7041과 Class I과 II를 모두 억제하는 TSA의 방사선감작효과에 미치는 영향의 차이에 기전적으로 관여함을 시사한다. 결 론: Leptomycin B에 의해 유도된 p53의 발현증가는 Class I과 Class I과 II를 모두 억제하는 TSA의 방사선 감작효과를 증강시킨다. Purpose: Histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDIs) are emerging as potentially useful components of anticancer therapy and their radiosensitizing effects have become evident. Specific HDIs are now available that preferentially inhibit specific HDAC classes; TSA inhibits Class I and II HDACs, and SK7041 inhibits Class I HDACs. Materials and Methods: We tested the differential radiosensitization induced by two different classes of HDIs in HeLa cells. We next tested the hypothesis that p53 expression in cancer cells may influence the susceptibility to HDIs by using pharmacologic modification of the p53 status under an isogenic background. Results: It is interesting that p53 expression in the HeLa cells clearly increased the degree of radiosensitization by TSA compared to that of the class I specific inhibitor SK7041. This suggests that p53 may, in part, be responsible for the mechanistic role for the greater radiosensitization induced by Class I & II inhibitors compared to that of the class I specific inhibitors. Thus, these studies are useful in distinguishing between events mediated solely by the Class I HDACs versus those events involving the other classes of HDACs as well. Conclusion: The anticancer efficacy of targeting Class I and II HDACs, in conjunction with radiation therapy, may be further enhanced by the restoration of p53 expression.
조혈모세포 이식 후 발생한 급성 신부전의 원인과 급성 신부전이 예후에 미치는 영향

배 경 : 조혈모세포 이식(hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; HCT) 후 합병증으로 패혈증(sepsis), 이식편대숙주반응(graft versus host disease; GVHD), 정맥폐색성 질환(venoocclusive disease; VOD), 약물에 의한 부작용(drug induced nephrotoxicity; DT), 급성 신부전(acute renal failure; ARF) 등이 있다. HCT 후 발생하는 ARF는 환자의 생존율에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있으나 우리나라에서의 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 저자들은 HCT 후 ARF의 발생빈도, 위험인자를 살펴보고, ARF의 발생이 HCT 후 환자의 예후에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : 1985년부터 2000년까지 서울대학교병원에서 HCT를 받은 환자 163명 중 분석이 가능하였던 107명을 대상으로 하였다. 결 과: HCT 후 ARF는 총 107명의 환자 중 52명(48.6%)에서 발생하였다. VOD, sepsis, GVHD 중 VOD가 ARF의 위험도를 4.4(1.13-17.2)배 증가시켰다(p<0.05). ARF의 원인은 시기에 따라 차이가 있었으나, cyclosporin 신독성이 전 기간에 걸쳐 ARF의 주된 원인이었다. ARF 발생군에서 전체 생존율은 60%였으며, ARF 비발생군(NARF)에서는 73%로, ARF 발생군에서 생존율이 낮았다(p<0.05). ARF 발생군을 최고 혈청 크레아티닌 3.0 ㎎/dL을 기준으로 경증과 중증 ARF로 나누어, NARF 군, 경증 ARF 발생군, 중증 ARF 발생군을 비교하였을 때, 중증 ARF 발생군에서 생존율이 낮았다(p<0.01). 결 론 : HCT 후 VOD, sepsis, GVHD 등이 ARF의 위험도를 증가시켰으나, ARF의 주된 원인은 cyclosporin 신독성이었다. ARF는 중증인 경우 HCT를 받은 환자의 예후를 결정하는 인자였다. Background : Common complications after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HCT) include sepsis, graft versus host disease(GVHD), veno-occlusive disease(VOD), drug-induced nephrotoxicity, and acute renal failure(ARF). Prior studies report that the presence of ARF affects prognosis. However, we are unaware of such reports on the incidence of ARF after HCT in Koreans, and whether or not the development of ARF is related to prognosis. The purpose of our study was to investigate the cause of ARF after HCT and its relation to prognosis. Methods : 163 patients received HCT at Seoul National University Hospital since 1985, of which, 107 were available for review. Results : ARF after HCT developed in 52 patients (48.6%). In the three clinical causes, VOD, sepsis, and GVHD, risk factor related to the development of ARF was preexisting VOD. Logistic regression confirmed this association(odds ratio 4.4). The causes of ARF were different according to the periods it developed, and cyclosporin nephrotoxicity was the main cause through the whole period after HCT. The overall survival was worse in the ARF group(60 vs 73 %; p<0.05). ARF group was split into two groups : patients whose peak serum creatinine levels were below 3.0 ㎎/dL(mild ARF group) and those who were above 3.0 ㎎/dL(severe ARF group). Severe ARF group had worse survival than mild ARF group and patients without ARF(p<0.01). Conclusion : VOD, sepsis, GVHD after HCT increase the risk of the deveolopment of ARF, but cyclosprin nephrotoxicity is the main cause of ARF. Severe ARF is a factor influencing the prognosis of patients who received HCT.
