뇌졸중 후 중추성 통증 환자에 대한 동서협진이 진통과 재활에 미치는 영향

Purpose : In order to study the effectiveness of East-West pain treatment on central poststroke pain(CPSP), we evaluated its effect on alleviation of pain and rehabilitation of CPSP Patients who were treated with electroacupuncture and west pain treatment for four weeks. Methods : Twenty four patients diagnosed by their pain characteristics of central pain from stroke were treated with sympathetic nerve block, gabapentin, amitriptyline, and electroacupuncture for four weeks. Pain intensity through the visual analogue scale(VAS), and improvements of mobility and rehabilitation through the modified Barthel index(MBI) and Rankin scale(RS), respectively, before and after pain treatment were also assessed. Results : VAS pain scores were significantly improved from 7.7±1.7 to 4.4±2.0 with pain treatment(p<0.05). In accordance with improvement of pain scores, RS and MBI scores were also improved from 2.88±0.95 to 2.13± 1.01 and from 83.0± 16.9 to 94.7±9.5(p<0.05), respectively, with pain treatment(p<0.05). Conclusions : It was suggested that the active pain treatment was contributed to the rehabilitation of CPSP patients, resulting in improvement of quality of life of CPSP patients. Futhermore, East pain treatment in combination with West pain treatment may be useful modality to alleviate CPSP.

Recently, increasing of portable, importance of battery has identified. And battery is used for non-utility generation and emergency power for communication power, it has researched for power of electric vehicle. But it is disadvantage that life cycle of battery is decreased by overcharging and overdischarging. In this paper, using two phase with combined step-down chopper, we controlled charging and discharging of battery. It is dereased ripple of current and charging time with continuous current by using two phase with combined step-down chopper. Detecting the full charging voltage and cut-off voltage, it is prohibit overcharging and overdischarging with microprocessor.

Autogenous cartilage is very useful graft material for maxillofacial defect, including ear cartilage, costchondral cartilage and nasal septum. It is non vascular tissue without nerve & lymphatic organ. Cartilage grafts itself a high surviability after grafting and need a low metabolic rate. Then, Auricular cartilage is useful reconstruction of maxillofacial small defect, including sinus anterior wall defect, orbital floor defect, nasal deformity & interpositional graft following menisectomy or ankylosis in the Temporomandibular joint. Auricular cartilage graft are widely used in replacement of condyle disc. It is small elliptical portion of the patient own ear may be removed without much deformity. Autogenous auricular cartilage graft is easily operation method in patient. We report several cases of auricular cartilage graft in maxillofacial trauma patients. The result have been good with respect to the appearance & problems with his method.

Magnetic polymer composite materials with high coercivity have potential applications in medical diagnostic technologies, magnetic drug delivery, and hyperthermic cancer treatment. The purpose of this study was to prepare the magnetic composite particles by encapsulating barium ferrite powders with alginate and to investigate their physical and biological properties. 0.4 g of sodium alginate was dissolved in 20 ml of distilled water and different amount (0.4~4 g) of barium ferrite powder was dispersed in alginate solution using an ultrasonication method. The resulting barium ferrite-alginate slurry was added dropwise to a CaCl2 solution to form magnetic Ca-alginate composite beads. They were separated by filtration and washed several times with water and ethanol. The final product was then completely dried at 40℃ under vacuum to obtain brownish black powders (0.1~1 mm in size) with a high magnetic response when submitted to a small magnet. Average size of magnetic composite particles was dependent on the amount of barium ferrite and the viscosity of slurry . The morphological and dimensional analyses of magnetic composite particles were performed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Magnetic polymer composite particle was found to maintain the high coercivity. The saturation magnetization value for magnetic Ca-alginate composites increased with the increase of the barium ferrite/alginate ratio. The amount of self-heating induced by hysteresis under an alternating magnetic field was measured as a function of barium ferrite/alginate ratio in distilled water. According to the results, the encapsulated magnetic composite is expected to be useful for hyperthermia and chemotherapy remarkably.

The presence of electron donating groups at the 3- or 5-position on the pyrazole ring facilitates the azo coupling reaction at the 4-position on the pyrazole ring, but 3-amino-1-phenyl pyrazole(Ⅴ) reacts with arene diazonium ion in weak alkaline solution(pH 8-9) to give traizene derivatives(Ⅵ) in 90-93% yield. But, the azo coupling reaction of 3(5)-aminopyrazole(Ⅶ) with arene diazonium ion in weak alkaline solution(pH 8-9) afforded 3(5)-amino-4-arylazopyrazole(Ⅷ) and subsequently oxidative cyclization with Lead tetraacetate in inert gas gave 2-aryl-4H(5H)-1,2,3,4,5 -penta-azapentalene(Ⅲ,Ⅳ).
하악지 시상 분할술 후 하치조 신경의 감각회복에 관한 연구

Dysfunction of the inferior alveolar nerve was indicated by various degree of numbness on the lower lip. The chin is considered as one of the few drawbacks of mandibular osteotomy, especially bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy(BSSRO) and genioplasty. In this study, 53 consecutive patients under class Ⅲ malocclusion impression who were taken with BSSRO only 30 cases and BSSRO with genioplasty 23 cases were carried out inferior alveolar nerve dysfunction test according to time at 1, 2, 4, 8 weeks and 6 months, 1 year postoperatively. The tinnel sign was checked by patient's self-evaluation. 20 members without trauma and nerve damage history, as control group nerve test was taken. Majority of patiens returned to normal sensation during post operative 6 months. Although immediate nerve deficit were 82.86%, 74.29%, 75%, these were recovered to 16.22%, 21.62%, 13.51% at 6 months and 0%, 31.2%, 3.12% at 1 year. Nerve recovery tendency increased predominantly between post-op 4 weeks and 6 months. There was no statistically difference neurosensory deficit among the chin area. Neurosensory deficit was more severe when the BSSRO with genioplasty group than the BSSRO only group at post-op. But 1 year later, the differences between two groups was no significant. There was no significant difference between left side and right side in neurosensory distubance. Static light touch was more sensitive method of neurosensory deficit than two point discrimination and pin pressure nociception. Tinnel sign was almost appeared at between 1 week and 3 weeks after operation.
