        고립성 직장결핵 3예

        저자들은 장결핵 중 발생 부위상 드문 곳으로 알려진 직장에 발생한 고림성 결핵을 3예 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Isolated rectal tuberculosis commonly involves sigmoid, ascending, or transverse colon. Rectal involvement in tuberculosis is uncommon and poorly characterized. Isolated rectal tuberculosis was defined as focal lesions of rectum in the abscence of demonstrable lesions in the small and large bowel. Diagnosis of rectal tuberculosis was based on characteristic endoscopic appearance of lesions, histopathologic feature of tuberculosis in biopsy material and response to antitubercular therapy. Three patients with isolated rectal tuberculosis were seen at Kwak's hospital. The lesions observed was classified according to macroscopic morphology as follows: ulcerative, hypertrophic and ulcero-hypertrophic. Clinical manifestations were non-specific and consists of rectal bleeding, fever, weight loss, constipation and abdominal pain. One of the three patients had coexisting tuberculous pleurisy. Response to antitubercular chemotherapy was good. (Koeran J Med 64:96-100, 2003)

        Gene Introgression Effects of Green Rice Leafhopper Resistance on Grain Quality in Rice

        The effects of the transferred green rice leafhopper (GRH) resistant gene on yield and grain quality were analyzed by using 7 near-isogenic lines (NILs) with introgressed GRH resistance gene in rice cultivar "Ilpumbyeo". The genotype analysis using SSR markers indicated that all NILs were recovered more than 95% as compared with recurrent parent "Ilpumbyeo". All NILs showed no significant differences compared to recurrent parent for grain yield. No significant differences were observed between NILs and their recurrent parent for physicochemical traits (protein content, amylose content and alkali spreading value) and eating quality. But there were significant differences for appearance of brown and milled rice and pasting properties between some NILs and their recurrent parent. It means that these grain appearance and pasting traits of NILs were very similar or more improved compared to recurrent parent "Ilpumbyeo". Thus, it could be possible to develop GRH resistant variety with high ,quality in segregating populations.

        <요한시집>에서의 경계 양상과 인물간의 관계 연구

        This study was focused on analyzing The Anthology of John, one of Yong-hak Jang`s major works, and through the analysis it purposed to explain the world implemented in the novel and the author`s consciousness connoted by the story. First of all, we need to examine the general background of the novel and the examination should include ``the border`` appearing occasionally in the work. Particularly considering that Nuhye`s suicide was committed in the border, the meaning of the border must be clarified. Only then, we can see the world implemented in the novel and, going further, the reality perceived by the writer. The border is a starting point from which the world is created but, on the other hand, it is described as a place for escaping from the reality restraining the character, namely, a place where freedom is achieved. That is, the border has a double face. The border is a place of freedom that cannot be won in the reality and a place totally distinguished from the reality. Accordingly, it gives something indescribable to those who were made to live in the reality (this becomes the symbol of trauma ex post facto). For this reason, this nature of the border becomes a motive for creating the reality as a buffer zone against traumas. Like the border, Nuhye`s attitude toward Dongho has also a double face. This context is helpful to understanding Dongho`s split ego outside the concentration camp. Next, this study examined the relation between Dongho and Nuhye, the main characters of this novel. In his essay The Reality and the Anthology of John, Yong-hak Jang mentioned that the relation between the two is comparable to ``the relation between John and Jesus.`` That is, Nuhye is destined to die after paving a road for Dongho. The author added that the look of Nuhye and John is similar to freedom. Freedom also requires death for something that follows after. Let`s go back to what was mentioned earlier, namely, that Nuhye is similar to the border. Like the border creates the reality, Nuhye creates Dongho. That is, Nuhye, becoming a criterion for evaluating Dongho`s deeds, plays the role of a pivot that binds split Dongho. Furthermore, given the fact that Nuhye is a past figure existing only in Dongho`s memory, it is possible that the look of Nuhye is only Dongho`s imagination. This possibility again leads to the possibility that Dongho called in Nuhye purposely. How can we prove the possibility that Dongho called in Nuhye? Here the object ``eye`` may provide a clue to the answer. Nuhye`s eye as a body part and an illusory image restrains Dongho`s behavior powerfully. This is directly linked to Dongho`s guilty feeling, which Dongho did not arouse actively but he was given passively. That is, Dongho did not have an opportunity to commit a sin and therefore there is no reason for him to have a guilty feeling. From the beginning, Dongho was not given any chance for a sinful act. Nevertheless, Dongho assumed the burden of guilty feeling by himself, and by doing so, paradoxically he called in Nuhye`s eye. In this way, he put on Nuhye`s ``silk dress.`` As a result, what followed the death of freedom Nuhye was restraint forbidding splitting or (re)incorporation into the reality. Desire for (re)incorporation into the reality runs contrary to the proposition in the novel, namely, ``One should escape from the eye (the reality) in order to attain true freedom.`` In fact, it is impossible for humans to get out of the reality. If one escapes from the reality, though impossible, he will encounter perplexity and instinctively return to the reality. Isn`t what the author, who failed to adjust himself to the Republic of Korea in the 1950s, desired in his heart, rather incorporation into the reality than escape from that?

        본 연구의 목적은 기존 무인 택배 시스템에 데이터 분석과 체계적인 관리 시스템을 도입하여 이용자 중심의 새로운 택배 배송 시스템의 모델을 제안하는 것이다. 본 모델은 택배 배송 싵데이터를 누적시켜 마케팅, 공공데이터 파생, 사용자 편리성 등의 다양한 기능을 웹과 모바일을 통해 사용자와 택배기사 및 운영자에게 제공할 수 있으며, 데이터 분석을 통해 신규 무인 택배함의 적절한 위치를 추천해줄 수 있다. 또한, Power BI와 MySQL을 연동하여 실시간으로 누적되는 데이터를 시각화하여 제시할 수 있고 블루투스 비콘을 활용하여 배송 시 택배 기사의 현 위치 파악을 쉽게 해줄수 있다.

      • Fine mapping of the Grh3, Conferring Resistance to Green Rice Leafhopper (Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler) in Rice, Oryza sativa L.

        The green rice leafhopper (GRH), Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler, is one of the most serious insect pests affecting cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) in temperate regions of East Asia. To understand the genetic basis of the GRH resistance, a F2 population derived from across between a highly resistant variety,Cheongnam and a susceptible variety, Junambyeo was analyzed by genetic analysis and association mapping. GRH resistance was evaluated using the F2 populations. The results showed that a single dominant gene in Cheongnam. DNA from 22 F2 individuals being either resistant or susceptible were pooled to produce bulk resistant and bulk susceptible DNA samples. Parents and bulks were screened with 192 SSR markers and twolinked SSRmarker, RM6082 and RM20145 were identified.Subsequent mapping in the original mapping population showed that thelocusis flanked by the SSR markers, RM20130 and RM20152 on chromosome 6. To physically map this locus, the-linked markers were landed on the artificial chromosome clones of the reference cv., Nipponbare, released by the International Rice Genome Sequencing Project. The DNA markers found to be closely linked to Grh3 would be useful for marker-assisted selection for the improvement of resistance to GRH in rice.

      • Reliable oxygen transfer in MgAl<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> spinel through the reversible formation of oxygen vacancies by Cu<sup>2+</sup>/Fe<sup>3+</sup> anchoring

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study focused on Cu<SUB>x</SUB>Mg<SUB>1-x</SUB>Fe<SUB>y</SUB>Al<SUB>2-y</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> oxygen carriers for application in the chemical looping combustion of methane. Cu<SUB>x</SUB>Mg<SUB>1-x</SUB>Fe<SUB>y</SUB>Al<SUB>2-y</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> was fabricated by simultaneously substituting Mg<SUP>2+</SUP> and Al<SUP>3+</SUP> with Cu<SUP>2+</SUP> and Fe<SUP>3+</SUP> in the spinel structure of MgAl<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>. As a result, a great synergistic effect was observed: Cu<SUB>0.75</SUB>Mg<SUB>0.25</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5</SUB>Al<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> exhibited 7.85% oxygen transfer capacity in the CH<SUB>4</SUB>-CO<SUB>2</SUB>/air redox system. Methane and carbon monoxide were significantly adsorbed on the surface of the Cu<SUB>x</SUB>Mg<SUB>1-x</SUB>Fe<SUB>y</SUB>Al<SUB>2-y</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> particles. Cyclic voltammetry studies predicted the active lifetime of the oxygen carrier, which had not been reported until now. Cu<SUB>0.75</SUB>Mg<SUB>0.25</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5</SUB>Al<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> was expected to exhibit the greatest oxygen transfer capacity after 300 redox cycles and maintain an oxygen transfer efficiency of 92% until the 1000th redox cycle in the H<SUB>2</SUB>-N<SUB>2</SUB>/air redox system.         Effect of acidity on the performance of a Ni-based catalyst for hydrogen production through propane steam reforming: K-AlSi<sub> <i>x</i> </sub>O<sub> <i>y</i> </sub> support with different Si/Al ratios

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Propane steam reforming (PSR) for the production of H<SUB>2</SUB> was catalyzed by a NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> catalyst synthesized with various Si/Al ratios (Si/Al = 0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0). The effect of the Si/Al ratio on the acidity of the NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> catalyst for PSR was investigated. NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> gave a higher H<SUB>2</SUB> selectivity and stability during PSR than NiO/K-SiO<SUB>2</SUB> and NiO/K-Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>. The NH<SUB>3</SUB>-TPD results showed that the acid quantity and strength of NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> changed significantly depending on the Si/Al ratio. With an increased Si/Al ratio, the densities of both weak and strong acid sites increased. The C<SUB>3</SUB>H<SUB>8</SUB>- and CO-TPD results indicated that desorption amounts increased significantly in all NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> catalysts relative to those of NiO/K-SiO<SUB>2</SUB> and NiO/K-Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, and the adsorption amount increased with the Si/Al ratio. PSR results showed that the NiO/K-AlSi<SUB> <I>x</I> </SUB>O<SUB> <I>y</I> </SUB> catalyst exhibited much better stability than the NiO/K-SiO<SUB>2</SUB> and NiO/K-Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> catalysts. This study confirms the following facts: when the acidity is appropriately adjusted for the catalyst, adsorption of the reaction gas increases, which eventually increases the reaction rate and also inhibits strong sintering between the nickel and the Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> support.       • Effective Carbon Dioxide Photoreduction over Metals (Fe-, Co-, Ni-, and Cu-) Incorporated TiO<sub>2</sub>/Basalt Fiber Films

        <P>Mineralogical basalt fibers as a complementary adsorbent were introduced to improve the adsorption of CO2over the surfaces of photocatalysts. TiO2photocatalysts (M-TiO2) incorporated with 5.0 mol.% 3d-transition metals (Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu) were prepared using a solvothermal method and mixed with basalt fibers for applications to CO2photoreduction. The resulting 5.0 mol.% M-TiO2powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence, Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller surface area, and CO2-temperature-programmed desorption. A paste composed of two materials was coated and fixed on a Pyrex plate by a thermal treatment. The 5.0 mol.% M-TiO2/basalt fiber films increased the adsorption of CO2significantly, indicating superior photocatalytic behavior compared to pure TiO2and basalt fiber films, and produced 158~360 <I>μ</I>mol <SUP>gcat-1</SUP> L<SUP>−1</SUP>CH4gases after an 8 h reaction. In particular, the best performance was observed over the 5.0 mol.% Co-TiO2/basalt fiber film. These results were attributed to the effective CO2gas adsorption and inhibition of photogenerated electron-hole pair recombination.</P>
