        Astragalin (AS), kaempferol monoglycoside, is classified as a polyphenol, and a minute quantity of AS is known to be present in several plants. Recently, it was reported to be able to prepare AS by the partial hydrolysis of camelliaside A (CamA) and camelliaside B (CamB) contained in tea seed extract (TSE), in the presence of a commercial enzyme complex such as Mash. In this paper, the processes for the recovery of product and the purification of AS were optimized in the enzymatic reaction of CamA and CamB in TSE. Double extractions of reaction mixture with tetrahydrofuran and the following recryatallization from methanol afforded AS with over 97% purity.

      • 개선된 교통 신호 제어시스템 설계에 관한 연구

        There are various ways to operate traffic light system by varying the operational speed of the system. One of the solutions is to vary the length of the clock cycle of the system. It is difficult to vary the length of the signal in systems by varying the period of the clock cycle and nor it is a generalized technology in the current traffic systems. The traffic signal systems of the past used is simply a repetitive traffic signal system which traffic period is consistent, not considering the conditions of traffics. The system that will be introduced in this thesis could substantially improve efficiency of traffic flows by varying the length of traffic signal period with sensors which detect the presence of vehicles on both directions and allows the signal continuously on the direction where there are more waiting vehicles, and even skips the signal where there is no vehicle waiting. In this thesis, it introduces the methodology of detecting the spots that is detected by the sensors of the system and outputs green light in due order in accordance with the priority given to the system. In the meanwhile, the ratio of yellow light and green light is designed to be 1 to 8 in the way that maximizes the efficiency of traffic flows.

        원자력 발전소와 같은 대규모 원전시설에서 안전성확보은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않는다. 안전성 확보는 발생 가능성이 있는 사고위험에 대한 철저한 분석과 이에 대비한 완벽한 안전설계 요건의 적용과 관리를 통해서만 가능하며, 모든 원전사업 종사자의 임무이며 동시에 책임이다. 기술적인 사실에 바탕으로한 원자력산업의 올바른 사실의 전달은 안전설계의 중요성에 못지 않음으로써 국가 에너지 자원의 기술자립화와 국가 발전에 큰 영향을 끼친다. 이에 오랫동안 원전설계에 종사해온 경험과 사실에 근거하여 추상적인 공포심이나 불신에서 벗어나 믿고 신뢰하는 원자력의 평화적 이용에 대한 올바른 인식의 계기가 마련되어야 한다. The nuclear safety assurance cannot be much too emphasized in the large nuclear facilities like nuclear power plants. Nuclear safety can beachieved by the thorough analysis against the dangerous accident causes and phenomena and by applying and managing nuclear safety design requirements completely. Thus, it is their duty as well as their responsibilities of all workers involved in the nuclear facilities. The correct communication of true knowledge of nuclear safety based upon the technical facts is much as important as its design assurence, since it affects on the nation's development and the technical self-standing. Accordingly, This paper is prepared to provide an opprotunity of correct understanding and communication on the peaceful use of nuclear facilities to get rid of abstract fear and lack of confidence under the author's experience and viweing the fact that has been involved in this area for a long time.

      • ε-caprolactam의 음이온 중합에 있어서의 activator 및 수분제거제의 효과

        Anionic polymerization of ε-caprolactam gives high M.W. nylon 6, in the presence of catalyst and activator. In this paper, the polymeric activator was prepared and compared with the monomeric activators. The anionic polymerization of unpurified ε-caprolactam was also carried out in the presence of drying agents. It was possible to prepare nylon 6 from unpurified ε-caprolactam by adding dried-calcium oxide.

        Commercially available clays were reacted with diisocyanate and followed by hexadecanol to prepare organo-clay (MMT-UR) bonded with long alkyl chain via urethane bond. MMT-UR was characterized by IR, XRD and TGA, and showed larger basal distance compared to any clays reported. However, no further intercalation was observed when MMT-UR was compounded with PP- MA.

      • 맥주맥 F_1세대의 조합능력 검정

        맥주맥의 이면교잡에 의한 F_1세대에 대한 조합능력을 검정한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 8개 형질에 대한 GCA, SCA, RCA효과를 검정한 바 조합능력은 전 형질에서 GCA, SCA, RCA가 모두 유의하였는데 간장, 수장, 망장, 간직경, 곡핍폭, 1수립수 1000립중은 GCA가 SCA보다 크고, 품종간 GCA효과는 진양보리가 간장에서 부(-)이고, 삼도보리가 수장·망장·간직경·1000립중에서, 사천6호가 망장과 간직경에서, 진광보리가 곡립장에서, 두산29호가 곡립폭·1수립수·1000립중에서 각각 정(+)으로 높았다. SCA효과에서 수장은 두산29호×두산8호 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이, 간직경은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립장은 진양보리×두산8호 조합이, 곡립폭은 진광보리×두산8호 조합이, 1수립수는 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1000립중은 사천6호×두산8호 조합 및 두산29호×두산8호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 삼도보리×진광보리 조합이 부로서 높았다. RCA효과에서 수장은 두산8호×남향보리 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 간직겨은 사천6호×진양보리 조합이, 곡립장은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립폭은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1수립수는 사천6호×두산29호 조합이, 1000립중은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 사천6호×두산29호 조합이 부로서 높았다. Seven barley varieties in F_1 generation of the possible crosses among them were used to estimate the combining ability for eight characters, i.e., culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain length, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Data for F_1 hybrid and parents were subjected to the analysis method proposed by Griffing. The results obtained were summarized as follows. mean squares of general combining ability(GCA), specific combining ability(SCA) and reciprocal combining ability(RCA) were significant for all characters observed. Mean squares of GCA were higher than those of SCA and RCA in culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Variety Dusan#29 showed the highest GCA effect for number of grains per spike and positively high effects of GCA were observed from variety Samdo bori in spike length, awn length, culm diameter, 1000 grains weight, and from variety Jinkwang bori I grain length, from Dusan#29 in grain width, umber of grains per spike, 1000 grains weight. Also Jinyang bori showed negatively high GCA effect in culm length. In SCA effects, hybrids in Jinyang bori × Samdo bori were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high SCA effects for 1000 grins weight were found positively in Sacheun#6×Dusan#8 and Dusan#29×Dusan#. In RCA effects, hybrids in Sacheun#6×Dusan#29 were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high RCA effects for 1000 grains weight were found positively in Jinyang bori×Dusan#29.

        β-sitosteryl oleate was synthesized by transesterification reaction of β-sitosterol with methyl oleate. Total cholesterol values of male rats fed with high cholesterol diet were significantly decreased by administration of β-sitosteryl oleate. It was possible to dissolve β-sitosteryl oleate in oils by formulation with methyl oleate.

      • 양이온개환중합이 가능한 실리콘계 단량체의 합성에 관한 연구

        Cationic ring-opening polymerization(CROP) has been attracted in the field of memory storage based on the holographic technologies. In this paper, silicone-type monomer capable of CROP was synthesized by hydrosilylation reaction of 4-vinyl-1-cyclohexene 1,2-epoxide and 1,1,3,3-tetramethyl disiloxane. When the effect of catalyst, amount of catalyst, temperature and solvent on the hydrosilylation reaction were investigated. Lamoreaux catalyst showed the highest reactivity and the reactivities were significantly affected by temperature. The product purified by flash chromatography was characterized by FT-IR and H-NMR.
