      • An Investigation on the Life of Master Won Guk Lee, the Creator of Chung-Do-Kwan

        The purpose of this study is to review (or, investigate) the life of Won Guk Lee. He is the creator of Chung-Do-Kwan, which is one of the five original Taekwondo kwans. Data was gathered from advanced research, newspapers, documentaries, the Internet, magazines, and journals etc. Thus, we were able to create a sequence of events based on the research data. First, we can say that in Won Guk Lee``s career, he created Chung-Do-Kwan and brought Dangsoodo to Korea. These events have had a significant development on Taekwondo. Second, Taekwondo curriculum, which was published by Won Guk Lee, established the foundation of Taekwondo poomsae, as well as giving us the pure spirit of Korean martial arts.

      • Isolation and Transcriptional Expression of CuZn Superoxide Dismutase from Codonopsis lanceolata

        To investigate the defense mechanism against the abiotic stress, a cDNA clone encoding a CuZn superoxide dismutase (CuZnSOD) protein was isolated from a cDNA library prepared from tabroot mRNAs of Codonopsis lanceolata. The eDNA, designated ClSODCc, is 799 nucleotides long and has an open reading frame of 459 bp with a deduced amino acid sequence of 152 residues. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc matched to the previously reported CuZnSODs. Consensus amino acid residues (His-45, -47, -62, -70, -79, -119 and Asp-82) were involved in Cu-, Cu/Zn-, and Zn- binding ligands. The deduced amino acid sequence of ClSODCc showed high homologies (82%-86%) regardless of species. Expression of ClSODCc by oxidative stress was increased up to 1 h after treatment and declined gradually. Much earlier and stronger expression of ClSODCc was observed in the cold stress treatment.

        The ultimate strength of plate girder precedes by the estimation of the buckling strength the ultimate strength of the flange, the web, and the web reinforced by longitudinal and transverse stiffeners. The ultimate strength of plate girder has to be separately estimated under bending moment, shear force and both forces. Collecting and evaluating many related data and reference published during the last two decades in foreign countrys, this thesis presents a rational formula of the ultimate strength, which has produced good agreement between the analytic and the experimental values. In order to estimate the ultimate strength of steel plate girder based on the ultimate strength design method or the limit state design method, each analytic ultimate strength for bending moment panel and for shear force panel has been estimated and then compared with the experimental ones for following two cases, i.e. without stiffeners and with many stiffeners reinforced in a longitudinal and transverse direction, respectively. It is observed that the ultimate strength of plate girder can be increased by properly designing the number and the arrangement of longitudinal and transverse stiffeners in the plate girder.

        The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between one hand jump shot accuracy and standing height, different directions, and distances of the shot in Basketball. 10male basketball players of high school in Chung-nam province served as subjects. The percentage of jump shot accuracy according to the different directions and distances was compared with each other. And F test was taken to determine and discrepancies or differences between accuracy and distance, and direction of jump shot. The distances of the jump shot were divided into three steps, which were 3m, 4.5m, and 6m, and the directions of jump shot were divided into five, which were right side, left side, 45 angle of right, 45 angle of left, and front side. Correlation coefficients between shot accuracy and standing height and between shot accuracies according to the different distances and directions. The following conclusions were obtained: 1. There was a significant difference between accuracy and distance of one hand jump shot. 2. Not significant difference was found between accuracy and direction of one hand jump shot. 3. Not significant relationship existed between accuracy and standing geight in one hand jump shot. 4. There were significant relationships between accuracies of jump shot according to the various directions and distances.

        The purpose of this study was to investigated the physics-chemical characteristic of municipal solid waste generated in the Chinju city. It is important to know the physico-chemical characteristic of municipal solid waste. The average physical composition of municipal solid waste in APT and Detached Dwelling are food waste 68% and 55.5%, paper 13.5% and 16.5%, vinyl & plastic 13.7% and 16.5%, glass 2.73% and 1.7%, metal 2.06% and 1.03%, others 6.6% and 2.1%, respectively.

Based on the procedures and results, the following conclusions were wanted; The type of leisure activity among the collegiate has an influence on the psychological, educational, social, physiological, relaxational and environmental satisfaction.

Value of specific growth rate(K) were K_1= 0.931, K_2=0.885, K_3=0.917, so Yield coefficient(Y), Endogenous respiration coefficient(Kd) were Y_1=234.8 gVSS/gNO_3-N, Kd_1=0.153 hr^-1, Y_2=234.35 gVSS/gNO_3-N, Kd_2=0.25 hr^-1, Y_3=247.68 gVSS/gNO_3-N, Kd_3=0.17 hr^-1.

      • 자동차용 실리콘 가속도센서의 개발(Ⅱ)

        자동차의 air-bag 장치에 실용될 수 있는 압저항형 단결정 실리콘 가속도센서 칩을 개발하기 위하여 결정 실리콘 미세구조의 제조방법을 확립하고, 단위공정의 검증을 통하여 일괄공정에 의한 PROTO-TYPE 칩을 만드는 기술을 연구하였다. 단결정 실리콘 미세구조는 선택확산법을 이용하여 정확히 선택된 영역에만 air-gap을 형성하여 미세구조의 측면식각을 방지하는 선택확산법에 의한 실리콘 마이크로머시닝 기술로 제조하였다. 일괄공정을 위한 단위공정확립을 위하여 PROTY-TYPE 8빔 브릿지형 가속도 센서를 제조하였다. 제조된 칩의 가속도에 따른 출력전압은 선형성을 나타내고 있으며, 감도는 약 50 ㎶/V·g로 나타났다. 이 감도는 50G용 가속도센서의 사양을 만족하지 못했다. 이는 공정에 의한 문제라기 보다는 가속도센서의 시뮬레이션에 의해 설계한 구조가 이미 원하는 감도에 못 미친다는 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 2차 공정으로 제조될 가속도센서의 파라미터를 SuperSAP 유한요소 패키지를 이용하여 실리콘 미세구조부의 파라미터에 따른 특성을 시뮬레이션하였다. 설계된 50G용 가속도센서의 mass Pad의 반경 및 빔 길이, 빔 폭, 빔 두께, 그리고 mass의 각 파라미터 값은 700 ㎛, 120 ㎛, 5 ㎛, 1.0 ㎎ 이었다. 반도체 공정기술, 관성질량 제조법 및 선택확산을 이용한 마이크로머시닝을 사용하여 일괄공정으로 8빔 브린지형 가속도센서를 제조하였다. We researched the establishment of the silicon microstructure fabrication technique to develop a piezoresistive type silicon acceleration sensor chip and the technique to make a proto-type chip by the verification of the unit-process. Silicon microstructure is fabricated silicon micro-machining by selective diffusion method. This method prevent a side-etching of microstructure because selective diffused region is only formed an air-gap. We fabricated a proto-type 8-beam bridge-type acceleration sensor to establish the unit-process for the batch-process. The output voltage of the chip represented linearity with acceleration, and the sensitivity was about 50 ㎶/V·g. But this sensitivity dosen't satisfy the requirements of a practical acceleration sensor. The cause of this result is assumed not process problem, but the structure designed by simulation isn't suitable already. Threfore, the characteristics of parameters of the acceleration sensor that will be fabricated by 2nd-process is simulated by SuperSAP finite-element package. The determined parameter values of beam length, beam width, beam thickness, mass, and mass radius are 120 ㎛, 5 ㎛, 1.0 ㎎, and 700 ㎛, respectively. We fabricated 8-beam bridge-type acceleration sensor by batch-process using a semiconductor process technique, proof-mass fabrication method, and micromachinig using selective diffusion.

        The final goal of this study is to propose the process models of repair and long-term maintenance plan for consistency and effectiveness in rental apartments. This models are expected to help managers improve their works and provide a operation guide in repair and long-term maintenance plan. This study developed an AS-IS process model for repair and long-term maintenance plan in rental apartments. To sum up, it would be possible for managers to use the work processes of repair and long-term maintenance plan for their systematic and effective works. Also, it should be possible to make the integrated maintenance management system for managing current situation and measuring the diagnosis.
