        The aim of this study is to report 2 cases of acute promyelocytic leukemia who died from intracranial hemorrhage following leukapheresis and to provide proper preventive measures against hemorrhage following leukapheresis. From 1994 to 1997, a total of twenty-six patients with leukemia underwent leukapheresis to control hyperleukocytosis at Ajou University Hospital. Two patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia received all-trans retinoic acid but developed drug-induced hyperleukocytosis. Shortly after leukapheresis, they died from intracranial hemorrhage. The risk factors for fatal hemorrhage are thought to be coexisting disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC), thrombocytopenia aggravated by leukapheresis, exacerbated coagulopathy related to mechanical trauma through leukapheresis and the excess use of citrate during leukapheresis. To reduce the risk of the bleeding associated with leukapheresis, it is necessary to replace platelet sufficiently before and after leukapheresis and to give calcium to correct coagulopathy induced by excess citrate which is used as anticoagulant as well as the correction of disseminated intravascular coagulation.

        Effects of Extrusion Conditions on Pasting Properties of Potato and Potato : Wheat Flour Mixture

        The purpose of this study was to develop extrusion process of fresh potato and to study the effects of extrusion condition on the pasting properties of extruded potato products. The blend of pressed potato and wheat flour and pressed potatoes were extruded at different die exit temperatures (110-160℃) and screw speed of 100 rpm using a twin-screw extruder with conveying, high and low shear screw configuration. The viscosity-related parameters, such as peak viscosity, through, final viscosity, peak time, and pasting temperature of the feed materials and extruded products, were studied using a rapid visco analyzer (RVA). Their water solubility index (WSI) and water absorption index (WAI) were also studied. The peak viscosity, through, final viscosity, and peak time of pressed potato extrudates and potato-wheat flour mixture extrudates decreased as die exit temperature increased. The WSI and WAI of potato products increased as die exit temperature increased. When high shear screw configuration was used, the values of viscosity-related parameters were lower than those when low shear screw configuration was used. The potato-wheat flour mixture products obtained different degrees of depolymerization from fresh potatoes and wheat flour depending on die exit temperature and screw configuration.

        현행 중등학교 과학 실험 , 실습 교육 실태 조사 및 그 운영 진단 (Ⅱ) : 고등학교 과학 실험 , 실습 교육을 중심으로

        본 연구는 96년도에 실시한 우리 나라 중학교 과학 실험·실습 교육의 실태 조사 연구에 따른 계속 연구의 일환으로 고등학교 과학 실험·실습 교육의 실태를 조사하기 위한 것이다. 연구내용은 고등학교 과학 교과서의 분석, 실험·실습 실시 현황 분석, 현행 실험·실습 교육의 문제점 분석, 현행 학교 구성원들의 실험·실습 교육 운영 실태 조사 및 현행 실험·실습 교육의 개선을 위한 연구과제 도출을 주요 연구내용으로 다루었다. 연구방법은 전국의 고등학교 80개교를 대상으로 이들 학교의 학생 1,977명, 교사 165명, 학교장 80명에게 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 중심으로 우리 나라 고등학교 과학 실험 실습 교육의 정상화를 위한 실험 내적인 연구과제를 제시하면 다음과 같다. (1)교재 개발에 대한 연구, (2)실험 킷트 개발에 대한 연구, (3)교사교육 및 재교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구, (4)교실 밖 실험·실습 활동 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구, (5)과학 실험·실습 소재의 개발에 대한 연구. This study was accomplished to analysis and survey on the experimental and practical science education of high school in korea for the consecutive study of the an analysis and survey on the experimental and practical science education of middle school in korea(Lee, Yoon-Jong et al., 1997). The status of facilities, management for the experiment, practices, teaching methods in high schools have been investigated. The present status and reasonable management of the high school science education have been grasped from the questionaires. To do this 165 high school science teachers, 1977 students and 80 principals of high schools in Korea are administered questionaires of Science Education Research Institute of Kyungpook National University(1997). The results of this study are as follows : The reasonable management for experiments and practices of science education were scanty in the high school around the urban and rural school owing to the shortage of facilities and equipments, crowded class, excessive class works for teacher, excessive contents of present textbooks and insufficiency of the administrative supports etc. The current teaching method of high school science has emphasized knowledge. This fact does not satisfy the objective of learning due to lack of the teaching method. Desirable directions for the improvement of present status of high school science education were proposed in this paper.

        73년의 경기과열로 인하여 기업의 수지는 극도로 호전되었다. 그러나 73년말부터 경기후퇴가 예상되어 오던 중 74년 10월 산유국들에 의한 석유가격의 대폭적인 인상에 따른 국제간의 원자재가격의 앙등 등의 요인으로 세계경제는 일대 Stagflation에 빠져 있다는 것은 주지의 사실이다. 우리나라 같은 자원빈국에 있어서는 자원가격의 앙등이 곁들인 국제경제의 침체는 수출에 대한 해외수요의 감소로 인한 수출의 경색과 수출자원가격의 상향으로 수입액의 격증을 초래하여 올해에 와서는 우리나라의 국제수지는 미증유의 적자폭을 나타내게 하였다. 이와 같은 상황 속에서 경제정책의 가장 중요한 목표중의 하나가 무역수지의 개선에 두어야 함이었다. 따라서 환율의 인상은 국제수지의 적자가 확대된 채 개선될 전망이 흐리다는 것이 일시적이 아니라 장기적인 것이라면 수환을 인상(평가의 정하)함으로써 무역수지의 개선이 도모된다는 논의가 되었던 것이다

      • Cu/Kieselguhr 觸媒에 依한 Acrylonitrile의 水和反應에 關한 硏究

        Catalytic hydration of acrylonitrle over Cu/kieselguhr catalysts was studied at 343K. The catalysts with varying Cu loadings were prepared by the precipitation method using NaOH and K_2CO_3 solutions as the precipitants. The active surface areas were measured by O_2 chemisorption at 77K in order to determine the areal reaction rate constants. Some effects of the precipitant and the Cu loading were investigated. The results were as follows : (1) Only acrylamide was produced over the catalysts prepared using NaOH, whereas ethylene cyanohydrin was also produced over the catalyst prepared using K_2CO_3. (2) The reaction rate for the production of acrylamide was first order with respect to the concentration of acrylonitrile. (3) The areal reaction rate constant. for the catalysts prepared using NaOH decreased significantly with decreasing Cu loading. The constant at 343K for the catalyst having 50% Cu loading was 2.83 x 10 wxp(-6)l/㎡. min.

        Utilization of air space for vitalization of supply which is preparing a demand pressure of land is thought that not anly it is necessary to prepare diseconomies of scale by keeping land value from a sudden rise but also it is necessary to use limited land space economically and efficiently. Then, because there are not absolute and clear standards for utilization of air space, it's needed for the following assumptions under condition that must be proportionate between a number of story and land value in this paper. First, the greatest number of story and land value have to be the same for each block. Second, the lowest number of story and land value have to be the same for each block, too. Under above assumptions, I've appointed a number of story to be required at the minimum which is demended by its land value and requirement number of story which is demanded by average level of Nam-Po District. As a result, chosen blocks under these values are 25numbers and 36numbers.

      • 댐 건설전후 유역의 장기유출특성변화의 분석 : I.GIS를 이용한 NWS-PC 모형의 매개변수 추정

        본 연구에는 CIS를 이용하여 장기유출 해석 모형의 하나인 NWS-PC모형의 매개변수를 얼마나 적절히 추정할 수 있는가에 대해 알아보았다. 수치표고모형, 수치토양도 및 인공위성영상을 분석하여 얻은 토지이용도 등을 기본 자료로 이용하였고 소유역별 특성값을 GIS를 이용하여 추출하였다. 이러한 특성치들은 Amstrong(1978)에 의거하여 소유역별 모형의 매개변수를 추정하는데 직접이용된다. NWS-PC 모형의 경우 추정된 매개변수는 가능한 값의 범위로 주 This study is to see how effectively the NWS-PC model parameters can be estimated using GIS. Basic informations such as DEM(Digital Elevation Model) ,digital soil map, land use information from satellite image are provided and analyzed for estimating the sub-basin characteristics in GIS. These charcateristics are used to estimate the model parameters for each sub-basin. The model parameters estimated based on Amstrong(1978) are given as a possible range, which will be fixed through the calibration procedure. In this study, we used the1974 data for calibration and the 1979 event for verification. From the calibration procedure, we could find that the parameters related with infiltration and water tend to have the minimum value of the range and that the parameters related with exfiltration of water tend to have the maximum value of the range This result seem to reflect the hydrologic characteristics of Keum-river basin, which could be used to fix the model parameter without difficult calibration procedure. The simulation results show that the relative error of calculated discharge to observed discharge to be within approximately 10% . Therefore, the model with the parameters calibrated was considered to be adaptable for long-term runoff analysisf or Keum-river basin.

      • 인터넷 통신에서 자바 바이트코드를 이용한 애플릿 보안

        Java applets are downloaded from web server through internet and executed in Java Virtual Machine of clients' browser. Before execution of java applets, JVM checks bytecode program with bytecode verifier and performs runtime tests with interpreter. However, these tests will not protect against undesirable runtime behavior of java applets, such as denial of service attack, email forging attack, URL spoofing attack, or annoying sound attack. In order to protect malicious applets, a technique used in this paper is java bytecode modification. This technique is used to restrict applet behavior or insert code appropriate to profiling or other monitoring efforts. Java byte modification is divided into two general forms, class-level modification involving subclassing non-final classes and method-level modification used when control over objects from final classes or interface. This paper showed that malicious applets are controlled by java bytecode modification using proxy server. This implementation does not require any changes in the web sever, JVM or web browser.
