An experimental investigation was conducted to investigate the strength and deformation capacity of Wide Flange Steel Encased Reinforced Concrete(SRC) Columns subjected to constant axial compression and cyclic lateral loading conditions. Six one-third scale specimens were tested, each consisting of a structural steel size encased in reinforced concrete. The parameters studied in the test program included the effects of B/t ratios of encased steel(=13, 18, 23), ratios of axial force(=1/3, 1/6). As a result, capacity prediction based on superimposing the moment-axial-load interaction surfaces of the steel shape and reinforced concrete produced good results; the average of the experimental-to-predicted capacity ratio being equal to 0.99∼1.20. The observed hysteretic behavior of the test specimens indicated that adequated ductility can be achieved and the concrete core must be inhibited to buckling of wide flange.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The science and technology of organic electronics have made consistent progress. However, the long-term stability of organic devices is a critical issue that remains to be resolved. Encapsulation is a straightforward and practical means to protect organic materials from oxygen or moisture and thus improve air stability. Here, we report a high-performance flexible inorganic SiN<SUB>x</SUB>/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>N<SUB>y</SUB> hybrid barrier film for application in organic solar cells (OSCs). This hybrid barrier film shows average transmittance of 85.5% and a water-vapor transmission rate of 7.1×10<SUP>–5</SUP> gm<SUP>−2</SUP> day<SUP>−1</SUP>. In OSCs comprising poly[4,8-bis[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo[1,2-b:4,5-bA]dithiophene-2,6-diyl][3-fluoro-2-[(2-ethylhexyl)carbonyl] thieno[3,4-b]-thiophenediyl] (PTB7) and [6,6]-phenyl-C<SUB>70</SUB>-butyric acid methyl ester (PC<SUB>70</SUB>BM), which were encapsulated by the SiN<SUB>x</SUB>/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>N<SUB>y</SUB> hybrid barrier film, the power-conversion efficiency remained above 86% of the initial value even after 2000h of storage in air, which is comparable to that obtained for a device encapsulated by a glass lid.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> A inorganic SiN<SUB>x</SUB>/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>N<SUB>y</SUB> hybrid barrier film prepared on a flexible substrate. </LI> <LI> The SiN<SUB>x</SUB>/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>N<SUB>y</SUB> hybrid barrier film shows WVTR of 7.1×10<SUP>-5</SUP> g m<SUP>-2</SUP> day<SUP>-1</SUP>. </LI> <LI> The PCE of encapsulated OSCs remained 86% of initial efficiency even after 2000 h. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>The high performance flexible inorganic SiN<SUB>x</SUB>/SiO<SUB>x</SUB>N<SUB>y</SUB> hybrid barrier film is proposed for application in organic solar cells (OSCs), which shows average transmittance of 85.5% and WVTR value of 7.1×10<SUP>−5</SUP> gm<SUP>−2</SUP> day<SUP>−1</SUP>. The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of driving performance and physiological responses between young male and female drivers for unexpected situation uSlllg a graphic vehicle simulator. The participants included 20 college graduates; 23 males aged 24.3 土1.4 with 2.3 土1.5 years of driving experiences and 23 females aged 23.2± 2.1 with 2.2 土1.7 years of driving experience. The participants were instructed to drive the vehicle simulator which was programed unexpected situation for two minutes. The physiological measurements used were autonomic responses of electrocardiogram (ECG) and skin conductance response (SCR), and the driving performance measurements used were the reaction time of break and the rate of collision for unexpected situation. Results showed that there were no significant differences between male and female drivers in the reaction time of break and the rate of collision for unexpected situation. Averaged R-R interval decreased and LFfHF and SCL amplitude increased for unexpected situation. There were no significant differences between male and female in the averaged R-R interval and LFfHF for unexpected situation. On the other hand, SCL amplitude of female was higher than male. Rising time to maximum SCL amplitude of female was longer than male.

Hepatobiliary cystadenoma is a rare but distinct neoplasm with malignant potential. The differential diagnosis includes other cystic neoplasms, primary or metastatic, and nonneoplastic cysts including infective conditions. A 38-year-old woman was admitted because of abrupt epigastric pain. Abdominal imaging studies revealed about 15×10 cm sized multiloculated cystic lesion in left lobe of the liver. Both serum and cystic fluid level of CA 19-9 were raised above 2,400 U/mL. Laparotomy and left lobectomy were performed. A 15×10 cm sized cystic mass was noted in left lobe of the liver. About 1,800 mL of serous fluid was obtained from this multiloculated cystic mass. Microscopic findings revealed a cystadenoma lined by a single layer of columnar epithelium containing some intracellular mucin pools and hemorrhagic infarct without evidence of cellular atypism or mitosis. We report a case of intrahepatic biliary cystadenoma with markedly elevated CA 19-9 with the review of literatures.

육상으로부터 목포해역으로 영양염류가 유입되는 곳과 간조시 갯벌을 통과한 지역의 pH, DO, COD, HN_4-N, NO_3-N 및 T-P 함량을 측정하고 RMA 모형과 FIT모형을 사용하여 방조제 건설에 따른 유기물질의 확산양태를 모의하였다. 목포 인근해역의 수질은 양호하였으며 특히, 갯벌 통과 후 질소원은 증가하였고 COD와 T-P는 감소하였다. 영암/금호 방조제 건설에 따라 방조제 인근해역에서 해수이동양상이 급격히 둔화되었고 목포해역의 북쪽과 4단계 방조제 해역간의 해수교환이 크게 증가하였으며 목포해역의 남쪽에서는 외해수와의 해수교환이 크게 감소하였다. 결과적으로 방조제 건설로 인해 방조제 인접해역에 축적되는 유기물질이 크게 증가하여 목포해역 내외부의 유기물질 확산양상에 적지 않은 영향을 미치고 있다. The pH, Do, COD, NH_4-N, NO_3-N and T-P of sea water were measured in both sites effluencing sewage and passing through salt marsh, and also the RMA and FIT model were applied to the Mokpo coastal zone to analyze the changes of pollutant dispersion mechanism by constructions of the seawalls. The nitrogen source of sea water in the sites passing through salt marsh increased but COD and T-P decreased. After constructions of the Youngam/Kumho seawalls, tidal velocity was decreased and exchange of sea water was very increased between the north of the Mokpo coastal zone and the 4th seawall region and was very decreased between the south of the Mokpo coastal zone and outer sea water. The results of simulation on diffusion of organic matter indicate that most region of the Mokpo coastal zone will suffer deepened contamination after the constructions.
