The aim of this paper is to examine the behavior of the N-joints using square hollow sections and to improve the structural performance without reinforcing the joints. The selected parameters are the ratio of web to chord width, gap to chord width and eccentricity to chord width. Comparison between test results and codes shows the fact that the NPE-type has superior structural properties to the NSE-type in ultimate strength and deformation capacity. The experimental formulae based on the regression analysis are proposed. Ultimate strength formula employed in eurocode 3 is revised and proposed for the NSE-type. And ultimate strength formula including the eccentricity to chord width ratio which effects on the ultimate strength is proposed for the NPE-type. 본 연구는 각형강관을 이용한 프랫트러스의 N형 접합부의 거동을 연구하는 것으로 접합부를 보강하지 않고 접합형상만을 변화시켜 접합부의 구조적 특성을 향상시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 주요변수는 주관에 대한 지관의 폭비, 압축지관과 인장지관 사이의 갭 크기비와 편심비 등이며, 지관회전 여부에 따라 분류, 정방형(NSE계열)과 지관 $45^{\circ}$ 회전형(NPE계열)에 대한 각종 변수별 내력과 변형성상을 실험을 통해 규명하였으며, 지관을 $45^{\circ}$ 회전할 경우 최대내력 및 변형성상이 재선됨을 밝혀내었다. 또한, 실험결과로부터 각 계열별 평균극한강도식을 도출하였으며, NSE계열의 경우 현행 유럽의 규준식을 국내 실정에 맞도록 수정, 제안하였고, NPE계열은 편심비의 영향을 고려할 수 있는 실험식을 제안하였다.

휴대폰 및 카메라 산업의 급속한 발전에 따라 모든 전자 제품이 소형화, 고성능화, 다양화 추세에 따라 PCB도 고집적화, 다층화, 고사양화가 급속히 이루어지고 있다. 현재 계속해서 진화하고 발전하는 디지털 카메라 그 중에서도 DSLR카메라 이외에 소형, 경량화 하는 고객 요구로 부터 탄생한 미러리스 카메라와 하이브리드 디지털 카메라의 시장이 계속해서 증가하고 있다. 그에 고사양, 저전력, 고성능 부품에 따라 PCB설계 난이도가 점차 증가하고 설계 L/T이 오래 걸리고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 카메라 개발기간 및 제조기간 축소에 적용되는 PCB설계 L/T 단축에 대한 방법을 제안한다. According to the rapid development of cell phone and camera industry, all of electronic products obtain small-size, high-performance and variety. Therefore, PCB also obtains high-integration, multi-layers and high-specification rapidly. Among the digital cameras which are continuously evolved and developed, the market of mirror-less camera and hybrid digital camera is continuously increased because of the customer's request for small-size and weight lightening, except for DSLR camera. Therefore, the difficulty of PCB design is gradually increased and design L/T is longer according to the high-specifications, low-current and high-performance components. This thesis suggests the method to reduce L/T for PCB design applied to the reduction of digital camera's developing period and manufacturing period.

Antimutagenic activity of Saururus chinesis (Lour.) Bail was investigated for food-borne mutagens using S. typhimurium TA98. Methanol extract from Saururus Chinesis (Lour.) Bail was fractionated into hexane, chloroform, ethylacetate and butanol fractions, followed by determination of antimutagenic activity for food-borne mutagenic heterogenic amines (HCA). The hexane fraction exhibited a strong antimutagenic activity for 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ), 2-amino-3,8-dimethylimidazo[4,5-f] quinoxaline (MeIQ), 2-amino-3,4-dimethyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (MeIQx), 2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine (PhIP), 3-amino-1-methyl-5H-pyroid[4,3-b]indole acetate (Trp-2-A); however its fraction rather enhanced the bacterial mutagenicity of 2-amino-3,4,8-trimethyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-f]quinozaline (4,8-diMeIQx) and 2-amino-3,7,8-trimethyl-3H-imidazo[4,5-f]quinoxline (7,8-diMeIQx). Active principle in the fraction was found to be two major compounds (${\gamma}$-crene B and epi-bicyclosesquiphellandrane) and 6 minor compounds (${\delta}$-caryophyllene, ${\gamma}$-elemene, ${\beta}$-cabebene, ${\delta}$-cadinene, ${\delta}$-selinene, and patchoulene). Modulation effect for the mutagenic activity of the food-borne mutagenic HCA by the fraction might be derived from a cumulative effect of each individual compounds. Hence, this hexane fraction might be use to reduce the production of mutagenic HCA during cooking process of protein-rich foods.
유도결합 플라즈마 식각시 bias에 의한 GaAs(100) 표면의 형태 변화

[ $BCl_3-Cl_2$ ] 플라즈마에서 GaAs(100)의 이온 강화 식각 시 source power에 따른 표면 형태 변화를 연구하였다. Floating 전위에서는 이온 포격(bombardment)이 거의 없고, 화학적 반응에 의존한 순수한 습식 식각에 의해 나타나는 것과 같이 <110> 능선과 {111} 표면으로 이루어졌다. 900 W 정도의 높은 source power에서는 결정학적 표면이 잘 형성되지만, 100 W 정도의 낮은 source power에서는 결정학적 표면이 형성되지 않는다. 이것은 건식 식각에 필수적인 Cl 원자와 같은 여기된 반응성 물질의 양이 source power에 크게 좌우되기 때문이다. 높은 source power에서는 반응성 물질의 농도가 높아지고, GaAs(100) 표면은 열역학적으로 가장 안정한 표면이 된다. 반면에 반응성 물질이 부족할 경우에는 표면 형태는 sputtering에 의해 결정된다. Scaling theory에 기초한 표면의 통계적 분석 적용 시, 두 개의 spatial exponent가 발견 되었다. 하나는 1 보다 작고 원자 수준의 표면형태 형성 기구에 의해 결정되고, 다른 하나는 1보다 크며 facet 형성 기구와 같이 큰 규모의 형태 형성 기구에 의한 결과로 생각된다. 시료들에 bias가 인가 되면, 표면에 포격이 일어난다. 그 결과 높은source power에서 능선 형성이 억제되고, 낮은 source power에서는 섬들의 형성이 억제된다. We present the morphological evolution at different source powers in the ion-enhanced etching of GaAs(100) in $BCl_3-Cl_2$ plasma. With little ion bombardment at floating potential, the surface develops <110> ridges and {111} facets, as it does in purely chemical etching. Higher source power (900 W) produces well developed crystallographic surfaces while lower source power (100 W) produces poorly developed crystallographic surfaces. This is attributed to the availability of excited reactive species (chlorine atoms) depending on source powers. With more concentration of the reactive species at higher source powers, the surface of GaAs(100) would be a surface that is expected from thermodynamics while the surface morphology would be determined by sputtering in the lack of reactive species. Statistical analysis of the surfaces, based on scaling theory, revealed two spatial exponents: one (smaller than one) is formed by atomic scale mechanisms, the other (larger than one) is formed by larger scale mechanisms which is believed to develop facets. When samples are biased, the surfaces experienced bombardment resulting in suppression of ridge formation at high source power and islands formation at low source power.
황해 중동부해역에서 CTD와 음향탐지기로 관측한 내부파와 표층 혼합

황해 중동부 해역에서 2012년 9월에 동서방향으로 설정된 단면과 금강 하구 외측 저염수 지역의 정박지점에서 음향탐지기를 이용하여 음향 후방산란 구조(acoustic backscatter profile)를 측정하였으며 CTD로 물성구조도 관측하였다. 수심 50 m 부근 해역에 발달한 해저사주 주변에서 조석전선이 형성되었다. 이 사주의 동쪽에서 저조 때 음향탐지기로 관측된 내부파는 파고가 약 15 m, 평균파장이 500 m정도이며, 파형이 비선형 오목형 파(depression wave)였다. 이 내부파는 남동쪽으로 흐르는 조류가 사주를 지나면서 만든 조석내부파로 해석되었다. 약한 비선형성 단독 내부파 이론을 적용하였을 때 오목형 내부파들의 전파속도는 약 50 cm/s 정도이고, 주기는 16~18분 정도로 계산되었다. 강한 음향 산란층이 국지적으로 7 m 정도 상승된 지역의 해면에서 Dinoflagelates Cochlodinium에 의한 적조가 관찰되었다. 금강하구 외측 정박지점에서 한 시간간격으로 관측한 물성구조는 해륙풍과 조류에 따른 염분약층 깊이 변동을 보여 주었다. 창조류가 북동쪽으로 강하게 흐르고 육풍이 서쪽으로 7 m/s 이상 불었을 때에는 염분약층이 일시적으로 상승하였고, 음향구조 영상은 해면 하 약 5 m까지 복잡한 구조를 보였는데 포획과 관입 형태를 갖는 강하고 약한 산란신호의 기울어진 음향구조가 수 십초 간격으로 교대로 나타났다. 표면 혼합층에서의 이러한 음향구조는 황해 중동부 연안역에서는 처음으로 관측되었다. 음향 후방산란 영상과 탁도 자료는 창조류와 육풍에 의한 표층 취송류가 만드는 수직적인 유속차(shear)에 의해 맑은 하층수가 탁한 상층으로 관입 혹은 포획된 것임을 제시한다. Acoustic backscatter profiles were measured by Eco-sounder along an east-west section in the mid-eastern Yellow Sea and at an anchoring station in the low salinity region off the Keum River estuary in September 2012, with observing physical water property structure by CTD. Tidal front was established around the sand ridge developed in 50 m depth region. Internal waves measured by Eco-sounder during low tide period in the eastern side of the sand ridge were nonlinear depression waves with wave height of 15 m and mean wavelength of 500 m. These waves were interpreted into tidal internal waves that were produced by tidal current flowing over the sand ridge to the southeast. When weakly non-linear soliton model was applied, propagation speed and period of these internal depression wave were 50 m/s and 16~18 min. Red tides by Dinoflagelates Cochlodinium were observed in the sea surface where strong acoustic scattering layer was raised up to 7 m. Hourly CTD profiles taken at the anchoring station off the Keum River estuary showed the halocline depth change by tidal current and land-sea breeze. When tidal current flowed strongly to the northeast during flood period and land-breeze of 7 m/s blew to the west, the halocline was temporally raised up as much as 2 m and acoustic profile images showed a complex structure in the surface layer within 5-m depth: in tens of seconds the declined acoustic structure of strong and weak scattering signals alternatively appeared with entrainment and intrusion shape. These acoustic profile structures in the surface mixed layer were observed for the first time in the coastal sea of the mid-eastern Yellow Sea. The acoustic profile images and turbidity data suggest that relatively transparent low-layer water be intruded or entrained into the turbid upper-layer water by vertical shear between flood current and land breeze-induced surface current.

In this paper, we suggest a dimensional controller to produce a different thickness strip without adding production facilities at the same steel. We describe the model for the non-linear thickness and speed setup, and drive a variation of the speed and thickness with Talyor expansion. The control algorithm is composed of 8 steps and the transient condition is added in order to maintain a mass flow between stands. A simulator is developed in order to verify the algorithm, and includes a non-linear rolling model, the tension model, AGC model, the disturbance model, and so on. From the simulation results by disturbances, we show that the thickness, tension and looper angle are converged to the set condition when we change the rolling conditions.

The influencing factors to remove phosphate were evaluated by converter slag (CS). Experiments were performed by batch tests using different CS sizes and column test. Solutions were prepared at the different pH and concentrations. The maximum removal efficiency was obtained over 98% with the finest particle size, $CS_a$ within 2 hours in batch tests. The removal efficiency was increased in the order of decreasing size with same amount of CS for any pH of solutions. The adsorption data were well fitted to Freundlich isotherm. From the column experiment, the specific factors were revealed that the breakthrough removal capacity (BRC) $x_b/m_{cs}$, was decreased by increasing the influent concentration. The breakthrough time, tb was lasted shorter as increasing the influent concentration. The pH drop simultaneously led to lower BRC drop during the experimental hours. The relation between the breakthrough time and the BRC to influent concentration was shown in the logarithmic decrease. Results suggested that the large surface area of CS possessed a great potential for adsorptive phosphate removal. Consequently particle size and initial concentration played the major influencing factors in phosphate removal by converter slag.
