        보일러 플랜트의 위험상태 방지를 위한 전문가 시스템

        보일러 플랜트의 운전관리 미숙(오조작, 오판단)으로 인해 발생하는 shutdown을 예방하기 위한 운전 지원용 전문가 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 대상공정 과 거동에 대한 symbolic modeling을 실시하고, 조작에 비한 공정상태 변화의 모사방법과 상황 의존적인 문제를 해결하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 위험상황과 운전상황의 인식에 필요한 지식 을 일반화하여, 오판단과 오조작으로 인한 보일러의 이상상태를 조작에 미리 앞서서 예측할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 개발된 시스템을 실제 공성에 적용하여 제시한 방법이 유용한 것임을 검증하였다. An operation aiding expert system is developed for preventing an unexpected shutdown caused by operation errors or misjudgements in boiler plants. Based on symbolic model about the plant structure and the behavior characteristics, the change of process states is simulated. And the method for solving context-dependent problem is suggested. With generalized knowledges for the recognition of operational situations and hazardous conditions, a strategy is suggested for anticipating accidents caused by operation errors or misjudgements in advance. By the results of the application of this system to the real plant, it is shown that the methodology suggested in this study is useful.

        화학공정의 위험상태 인식을 위한 지식 표현에 관한 연구

        A system was developed that could predict hazardous states for safe operation of chemical plants. This system aimed to prevent hazards of chemical processes from misoperation before real operation. In this study, a data base was organized which consisted of all hazards in the chemical processes. The structure of process was represented by signed direct graph(SDG) of NODEs and ARCs. Each NODE and ARC have property variables ; connected structure and state of processes etc. The hazards that could be occurred in processes were divided into two classes ; one is by operation of unit and the other is by hazardous materials. Using Hazardous States Transition Network, we could recognize transition progress of process states.

        Recycling of glass waste and shells by the fabrication of glass-ceramics reinforced by a whisker-type wollastonite phase

        Glass-ceramics showing a high mechanical strength reinforced by whisker-type wollastonite crystals were prepared by a milling and heat-treatment process using various glass waste and shells as starting materials. In order to blend the starting materials and to accelerate the interaction between the glass and shell during annealing, mechanical milling using a disk-type mill was employed. Formation of whisker-type β-wollastonite crystals was observed in the glass matrix using a X-ray diffraction analysis and a field emission-scanning electron microscope. On increasing the annealing temperature from 800oC and 900oC to 1000oC, the compressive strength of the specimens increased.

        Properties of Wollastonite-Reinforced Glass-Ceramics Made from Waste Automobile Glass and Waste Shell

        Wollastonite-type glass ceramics were prepared by milling and firing at various temperatures using an automobile waste glass and waste shell as starting materials. Powder mixture ground by disk-type ball mill for 3 hours was pressed into a disk. The pressed specimen was fired at 850C, 950C and 1050C for 1 hour in air. From FE-SEM observation, with an increase of the firing temperature from 850C to 1050C, whisker-type phase was grown to about 10 m in length. Specimen fired at 1050C showed the formation of well-crystallized whisker-type wollastonite grains and the highest compressive strength.

        Sol-Gel법으로 제조한 $B_2O_3$-$SiO_2$와 $Al_2O_3$-$SiO_2$ 박막의 특성에 관한 연구

        Glass films in the binary system B2O3-SiO2 and Al2O3-SiO2 were prepared on soda-lime-silica slide glass by the dip-coating technique from TEOS and boric acid or aluminum nitrate. Thickness of the films varying with viscosity and withdrawal speed were measured and effect of composition and firing temperature on the properties such as transmittance and refractive index were investigated. nM2O3.(100-n)SiO2(M=B or Al) films containing up to 20mol% B2O3 and 40mol% Al2O3 were transparent. Maximum transmittance at visible range were obtained for the sample containing 15mol% Ba2O3 and 32.5mol% Al2O3 and heat-treated at 50$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. Refractive index of the film containing 15mol% B2O3 was mininum in the B2O3-SiO2 binary system and minimal refractive index was appeared at the film containing 32.5mol% Al2O3. In IP spectra, addition of B2O3 were increased absorption peak intensity of B-O and Si-O-B bond and addition of Al2O3 were decreased absorption peak intensity of Si-O bond, respectively.

        진공증착법으로 제조한 투명 비정질 V2O5박막의 특성평가

        Purpose: This research is that V2O5 cathode's composition is possible in low temperature. Methods: Transparent in visible spectra range and crystallographically amorphous V2O5 thin films were prepared by simple vacuum thermal evaporation on soda-lime-silica slide glass substrate. After annealing at 100oC, 150oC and 200oC for 10 minutes in air, the surface morphology and the fracture-cross section of the films were investigated by field emission - scanning electron microscope. Transmittance in visible spectra range and surface roughness of the films were analyzed by ultra violet - visible spectrophotometer and scanning probe microscope, respectively. Results: As the increase of annealing temperature from 100oC to 150oC and 200oC, transmittance of the V2O5 films decreased. Optical properties will be fully discussed on the basis of the surface morphological results. Conclusions: Optical transmissivity was superior in case of 100oC, and could make amorphous V2O5 thin film that surface quality of thin film did homogeneity. 목적: 본 논문은 저온에서 V2O5의 cathode의 합성이 가능하다는 것이다. 방법: 간편한 진공 열증착법을 이용하여, 현미경용 소다 라임 실리카 슬라이드 기판위에 가시영역에서 투명하고 결정학적으로 비정질인 V2O5 박막을 제조하 였다. 100, 150 및 200oC로 10분간 열처리가 완료된 박막의 표면미세구조와 파단면을 전계방사 주사형 전자현미경 으로 분석하였다. 박막의 가시영역에서의 투과율과 표면 거칠기를 ultra violet-visible spectrophotometer와 Scanning probe microscope로 각각 분석하였다. 결과: 열처리 온도가 100oC에서 150 및 200oC로 증가함에 따라, 박막의 투과 율은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 박막의 광학적 특성은 표면미세구조적 결과를 바탕으로 토론될 것이다. 결론: 100oC 인 경우 광학적 투과율이 우수하고, 박막의 표면특성이 균질한 비정질 V2O5 박막을 제조할 수 있었다.

        졸-겔법을 이용한 $(Ba_{1-x}Sr_x)TiO_3$ 박막의 제조 및 특성

        In this study, to prepare the dielectric (Ba, Sr)TiO3 thin films by the sol-gel process, Titaminum (IV) sio-propoxide (Ti[OCH(CH3)2]4), Ba and Sr acetate were used for sol and thin films were prepared by dip-coating process. Stability of sol decreased with the increase of Sr, and thickness of thin films were obtained 0.13~0.17${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ by 1 coating cycle. Transmittance of amorphous thin films heated at 500 and 55$0^{\circ}C$ was very good, and crystallization tendency of thin films according to heat-treatment temperature and crystallization characteristics of thin films heated at 11$0^{\circ}C$ for 3 hrs were analysed. As a result, good perovskite structure was obtained higher than 100$0^{\circ}C$, and tetragonality of thin film was decreased but pyrochlore was formed with increasing Sr. In case of addition to substitute 0.4mol% Sr for Ba, dielectric constant was 288 and loss factor (tan $\delta$) was 0.04.

        Adsorption of carbon dioxide onto PDA-CP-MS41 adsorbent

        Carbon dioxide was adsorbed onto mesoporous adsorbent of PDA-CP-MS41, which was synthesized by CP-MS41 with propylene diamine, in a laboratory-scale packed-bed. Experiments were carried out at different adsorption temperatures (30-60 oC), amounts of adsorbent (1-3 g), and flow rates of nitrogen (15-60 cm3/min) to obtain the breakthrough curves of CO2. These curves were tested by the deactivation model, which combined the adsorption of CO2and the deactivation of adsorbent particles. The adsorption rate constant and the deactivation rate constant were evaluated through analysis of the experimental breakthrough data using a nonlinear least squares technique. The experimental breakthrough data were fitted very well to the deactivation model than the adsorption isotherm models in the literature.
