This study was focused on the separation of Si and from Wire Saw Slurry in Wire Saw Slicing process and synthesis of zeolite by mixing with water glass obtained from its process and Alumina. In order to separate Si and SiC from Wire Saw Slurry, Alkai disslution was used and then Na₂O showed superior dissoluble property of Si. At this time, SiC was separated as powder from Alkali apueous solution. Si was dissolved as a liquid in Alkali aqueous solution. After removing SiC powder, the powder formed was obtained from drying. Alkali aqueous solution and then it was the water glass (Na₂SiO₃)confirmed by XRD analysis. Water glass (Na₂SiO₃) and Alumina mixed with pure water made as a synthesis of zeolite through the crystallization by aging and hydrothermal reaction. The manufactured zeolite was Sodium Aluminum Silicate Hydrate confirmed by XRD analysis.

Purpose: The management of fractures of mandibular subcondyle continues to be controversial between open and closed treatment. The purpose of this article is to explain the endoscopic assisted open reduction and internal fixation and minimize the controversy. Methods: Nine patients of mandibular subcondylar fracture were reduced and fixed by using intraoral endoscopic - assisted open reduction and internal fixation and were followed up for 14 ~ 24 months after surgery. Results: Eight patients of mandibular subcondylar fracture had been treated without significant complications. One patient, whose malocclusion had been remained, was recovered normal occlusion by maxillomandibular fixation using intermaxillary screws for 3 weeks. Conclusion: The advantages of endoscopic - assisted open reduction and internal fixation are direct visualization, accurate fracture repair, minimized scar, decreased morbidity. And maxillomandibular fixation is not needed when it is done by accurate reduction and rigid fixation with one miniplate in the region of subcondylar fracture. With the above consideration, endoscopic - assisted open reduction and internal fixation can be considered as one of the best treament for subcondylar fracture of the mandible.

Purpose: Subungual squamous cell carcinoma is a very rare malignant tumor of the digitus especially in toe making it very difficult to differentiate from tinea unguium, verruca vulgaris, eczema, pyogenic granuloma, and malignant melanoma due to their clinical similarities. Therefore this article reports on subungual squamous cell carcinoma of left 5th toe. Methods: A patient visited at our hospital due to pain and incurable inflammation on left 5th toe with no improvement for four months. Despite of antibiotics and dressing for a week, treatment was ineffective. After excisional biopsy, he was diagnosed with subungual squamous cell carcinoma. And ray amputation and prophylactic inguinal lymph node dissection was done. Results: The biopsy was showed irregular cells made up of anaplastic and squamous cells in the dermis and epidermis. And the inguinal lymph node showed no metastasis. The patient had been treated without significant complications or recurrence for a year. Conclusion: This article emphasizes the need of diagnostic biopsy on the subungual lesions that have resistance to the conventional treatments. And if that is subungual squamous cell carcinoma, complete resection of the lesion and prophylactic inguinal lymph node dissection is essential.

Zinc Phosphate Cement had been used for about more than 100 years in luting of cast gold inlay. But many scientists had been trying to develop the new form of luting agent because the ZPC had shown the lack of adhesiveness on the tooth structure and the toxicity to the pulp tissue. Recently many researches about the surface treatment of the cast body are being done to increase the adhesion of cement to it. The conventional Class Ⅰ gold inlays were fabricated in the 20 permanent molars. After the internal surface of the cast body was sandblasted with Al_2O_3 particles and was tin-plated, the inlays were cemented with adhesive cement [G Ⅰ cement and resin cement(Super-Bond & Panavia_EX)] and the evaluation on the adhesion pattern, adhesive strength and the fracture pattern of the adhesive cast gold inlay was compared to that of the cast gold inlay cemented conventionally with ZPC. The results were as follows : 1. The surface roughness of the cast body was increased significantly after sandblasting with the Al_2O_3 particles and the tin oxide layer, which was consisted of round particles, came into being. 2. The bond strength was in the order fo Super-Bond, ZPC, Fuji Ⅰ, Panavia_EX group. The group cemented with Super-Bond showed statistically greater strength than the other groups(p<0.05). 3. The group cemented with ZPC was fallen apart by principal adhesion failure and that with Fuji Ⅰ was by complete adhesion failure. But the group with Super-Bond showed principal cohesive failure pattern and in the group with Panavia_EX, complete cohesive fracture pattern was shown and small portion of tooth structure was fractured out with cast body and the fractured surface showed the figure just as the enamel prism. 4. Various gaps were shown at the pulpal side regardless of little gap at the side walls of the cavity in all groups. Only the Super-Bond was attached to the tooth structure and the other cements were detached from both the tooth and the cast body.
