        We compared the degree of color difference formed by environmental factor(temperature, relative humidity) with fungal growth in order to know how to change the color difference of cellulolutic cultural properties such as Korean papers, cotton, jute and hemp. We concluded, from the result, that the action of fungal growth on celluloytic cultural properties was more hamful than environmental factor. We considered the secretion produced by fungi as the causative agent for stained formation on cellulolytic cultural properties. Alternaria sp. colored allmaterials greyish black, Chaetomium sp. colored cotton and hemp orange, and Penicllium sp. colored cotton, jute and hemp yellowish green. But Trichoderma sp. and Aspergillus sp. didn't show a clear color against each material. It was observed that thymol(120g/$m^3$) was the most effective fungicide to prevent fungal growth.

      • 종이의 산성화가 미생물의 분해능에 미치는 영향

        The effect of pH on degradation of paper by some fungi, which able to degrade cellulose, was investigated. Trichoderma koningii, Aspergillus nigerand Penicillium nigulosum were cultured at $28^{\circ}C$ for 16 days in the selective medium (PH3, PH4, PH5, PH6, PH7, PH8, PH9, PH10, PHC) containing paper as substrate. Each paper was pretreated with each pH buffer (pH 3∼pH 10, D.W.)prior to addition to the selective medium. Enzyme activities in the each culture medium were measured spectroph to metrically using C.M.C., Avicel, PNPG as the substrates for endoglucanase, exoglucanase and $\beta$-glucosidase, respectively. In all experimental fungi, the enzyme activities of PH3 and PH9 medium were usually much higher than those of other experimental groups. However in the PH6medium, enzyme activity was lower than other groups. To analyze the concentration and pattern of protein in the each culture medium, the medium was concentrated by lyophilization. The protein concentration of PH3 and PH9 medium were relatively high (T.koningii; 6.31mg, 6,19mg, A.niger; 1.62mg, 1.96mg, P.nigulosum;2.50mg, 2.73mg, respectively), but that of PH6 was relatively low. The protein pattern of each medium was analyzed by using SDS-PAGE and VDS Image Master Analysis Program. The concentrations of bands in the each lane were usually high at lane2 (PH3) and lane8 (PH9) and low at lane5 (PH6). Therefore, the incresed cellulolytic activity of fungus against acidified paper could be result of structural change and deterioration of paper caused by being acidified.

      • 경주 기림사 소장 지류문화재의 보존실태 및 대책

        The cultural properties of paper made from 11 to 16th century of the Kirimsa temple were found in Birozana Buddhist Statue which was made from 15 to 16th century. These have been stored and exhibited in the exhibition showcase. To examine the environment of conservation and the state of paper, we investigated the temperature and the relative humidity in the inside and outside of the Kirimsa museum and examined the external form and the internal state (water content, acidity and whiteness) of paper. During the investigation period from 27 Aug. to 30 Aug. 1997. The average of temperature and relative humidity were $28.2^{\circ}C$, 67% in the outside and $27.1^{\circ}C$, 73% in the inside, respectively. These indicated the air conditioning was wrong. Among the cultural properties of 79 papers stored in the Kirimsa museum, 37 cases had been repaired but 42 cases not. From the result examining the external form, 20 cases needed to repair. In the internal state of the cultural properties of paper, the water contents were from 11.9% to 16.5%, the average was 15.7%, the acidities from pH 5.7 to pH 6.2 and the whiteness from 37 to 45. From these results, we could see the cultural properties of paper stored in the Kirimsa museum was damaged by the several factors (hydrolysis by fungi, repeated elongation and retraction of cellulose) caused mainly by the high temperature and relative humidity. Therefore, for the conservation of the cultural properties of paper stored in the Kirimsa museum, it need to control the temperature at $18~20^{\circ}C$ and the relative humidity at $55\pm5%$ by the appropriate air conditioning. In order to sterilize fungi occurred to the surface of paper, the cultural properties of paper needed to fumigate. The fungi occurred on the surface of paper were wiped out by using of 70%solution dissolved thymol in ethyl alcohol.

      • 아동양육시설 퇴소 후 청소년들의 자립생활에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 사례연구

        본 연구는 질적 사례연구 방법을 사용하여 시설 퇴소 청소년들의 자립생활에 영향을 미치는 요인들 중 사회제도적 · 공식적 · 비공식적 지원체계에는 어 떠한 것들이 있는가를 파악하고 이들의 기능과 역할 및 그 체계들 간의 상호관련성을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 퇴소 후 5년 이내인 청소년 2명을 대상으로 심층면접을 진행하였다. 심층면접을 통한 사례를 분석하여 연구결과를 종합 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 시설 퇴소 청소년의 자립생활에 다양한 개인 적 환경적 요인들이 작용하고 있으며 이는 비공식적, 사회제도적 자원체계의 영향력 아래에서 유기적으로 작동하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 이러한 공식적, 사회제도적 자원체계는 개별적으로 영향력을 행사하는 것이 아니라 자립 후 퇴소청소년이 처한 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있으며 결국 이 사회적 자원체계와 비공식적 자원체계가 균형과 조화가 이룰 수 있도록 공식적 자원체계가 그 기능과 역할을 강화하여야 함을 알 수 있었다. 특히 시설퇴소 청소년들의 성공적인 자립생활을 돕기 위해 퇴소한 양육시설과의 연계 없이도 그들에게 정부지원의 자립지원혜택을 정확하게 안내해 주고 이를 잘 활용할 수 있도록 돕는 공식적 자원체계의 기능을 강화해야 한다는 점을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to understand social institutional, formal and informal resource systems to affect independent living of adolescents after leaving the child care institution by the method of qualitative case study, and to grasp interrelationship between function, role and system of its factors. To accomplish this purpose, we had in-depth interview with 2 participants who left child care institution within five years and have collected various data by analyzing the cases. The result showed that various personal and environmental factors affect independent living of adolescents after leaving the child care institution, and these factors are operated organically in informal and social institutional resource systems. However, the formal and social institutional resource systems are subject to the condition of adolescents after leaving the care of the Institution. In this study, we have found that the function and roles of formal resource system should be strengthened for achieving balance between these systems. In conclusion, for helping adolescents who left the care of institution to succeed in their independent living, we suggest that the formal resource system should guide the public assistance correctly and help them to use the public service effectively.

      • 한국 서식 흰개미의 특성과 방제

        There are about 2,000 species of termite in the World, but one species of termite inhabits in the southern part of Korean peninsula. Termites are social insects that live in colonies. The colonies are composed of king, queen, soldiers and workers. Termite food consists of cellulose obtained from wood. Protozoa in their digestive tracts convert the cellulose into usable food. Korean termite is a subspecies of Reticulitermes speratus Kolbe, Rhinotermitidae. It's subterranean termite and the scientic name is R. speratus kyushensis Morimoto. The subterranean termite must nest in the soil in order to survival, and infest soft-wood which contact with the soil near the nest. There are several ways which subterranean termite infestations can be noticed. Atcertain times of the year during daylight hours, king and queen termites emerge from the colonies. The propose of these flight is to establish new colonies. The termite is a decomposer of biological ecosystem, but an invader in the preservation of cultural properties as like wood buildings. There are serveral control methods for the prevention of wood building from termite's damages. Those are biological control, ecological control, physical control and chemical control. Ecological and Physical control are the best methods in the new constructing wood-building. Fumigation which is a method of chemical control, is the best method for the building damaged by the termite. After the fumigation, we have totake wood & soil treatments for the building and nearby in order not to be reinvaded by the termites.

      • 중요민속자료(복식)의 보존처리

        The cultural properties of cloth are of animal orgin (silk), or of vegetable orgin(cotton, hemp, ramie). As clothes are of an orginic material, they were subjected to damage by chemical, phisigical or biological factors, viz, moulds insects, lights, humidity and temperature changes, etc. And these factors promote that clothes generally result from various types of deterioration. In 1992, We were performed the conservation treatments for total 9 pieces of cloth, such as 3 pieces of General PAK SHIN-RYONG(Important Folklore Material No.110) 3 pieces of Madam Jung(Important Folklore Material No.115) and 1 piece of King Se-jo(Important Folklore Material No.219). The procedure of the conservation treatment for clothes describe the following below. 1) The washing and dry-cleaning to remove the contaminated substances from cloth was used 0.2% stearyl potassium soap solution and the mixture solution compound of n-Hexane, C6H14. and n-Decane, C10H22. And after the washing and dry-cleaning, the dry of clothes was carried out in a warm condition. These steps were repeated in 2 times over for each cloth. 2) The repair of clothes was attached the similar textiles to stronger fabric linings by needlework.3) The reprodution was made for cloth of King Se-jo to equalize the type, color, quality and skill of materials. 4) After these above procedures, all clothes fumigated to prevent the biodeterioration by using the mixed gas of methyl bromide and ethylene oxide as insecticide and fungicide. 5) Finally for the purpose to keep in a safety long-term condition, the treated clothes sealed with Biaxially Oriented Polyvinylacohol Film(BO-PVA film) and Helium, purity 99.999%, filled up in sealed BO-PVA film bag.

        한국인 신경병성 동통 환자의 치료 양태 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the treatment pattern of patients with neuropathic pain (NeP) in Korea through computerized database of Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRAS) over three years' period from 2003 to 2005. The results showed that the numbers of treatment visits were the highest for diabetic neuropathy (DN), followed by postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) and trigeminal neuralgia (TN) in order. Top 3 specialties for treatment visits due to NeP conditions were neurology, neurosurgery and anesthesiology. While cost of a treatment visit was higher in anesthesiology and emergency clinics compared to other clinics, there was a tendency to increase costs for visits to clinics of rehabilitation medicine and family medicine over the three years. Cost of dental visits was relatively high for TN, atypical facial pain (AFP) and atypical odontalgia (AO). Surgeries frequently applied to patients with NeP were sympathetic plexus or ganglion block, block of peripheral branch of spinal nerve and cranial nerve or its peripheral branch block. Most common prescribed medication were anticonvulsants, anti-inflammatory analgesics and anti-psychotic drugs while anti-inflammatory analgesics were overwhelmingly frequently prescribed for AO and glossodynia. Based on the results of this study, NeP disorders more relevant to dentists were AO, TN and AFP, TN of which seems to be the most important in terms of patients' number and cost for treatment visits. This indicates that dentists, especially oral medicine specialists should actively participate in management of TN, AO and AFP and share relevant information with patients and community.

        알루미늄 화합물이 흰쥐의 신장조직에 미치는 영향

        알루미늄 화합물 종류에 따라 흰쥐의 신장에 축적된 알루미늄 함량과 그로 인한 신장조직의 변화를 조사하기 위하여 S-D계 수컷 75마리를 5개 그룹 즉 대조군, 250 ppm $AlCl_3$ 500 ppm $AlCl_3$ 250 ppm $Al_2(SO_4)_3$ 500 ppm $Al_2(SO_4)_3$로 나누어 2주 동안 투여한 후 그 결과를 조사하였다 신장의 알루미늄량은 $AlCl_3$ 투여군은 $64.12{\sim}91.98\;ppm$ 이었고, $Al_2(SO_4)_3$ 투여군은 $113.58{\sim}135.49\;ppm$으로 $AlCl_3$보다 $Al_2(SO_4)_3$ 투여군에서 더 많이 축적되었다. 신장조직에서 $AlCl_3$, 투여군은 세뇨관 부위의 갑상선화와 간질세포내의 염증세포의 침윤, 수질의 세뇨관 파괴부위에 알루미늄이 침착되었고, $Al_2(SO_4)_3$ 투여군에는 피질에 심한 출혈, 사구체의 파괴 및 염증부위에서 알루미늄 침착이 관찰되었다. This study was performed to investigate the effects of aluminium treatment on renal damage in rats. Seventy five male Sprague-Dawley strains were divided into five groups; the control, 250 ppm $AlCl_3$, group, 500 ppm AlCl3 group, 250 ppm $Al_2(SO_4)_3$, group, 500 ppm $Al_2(SO_4)_3$ group and kept on the diet for 2 weeks. The body weight gain was more increased in $AlCl_3$, treated of rats but decreased in $Al_2(SO_4)_3$, treated rats than the control, on based in histophysiological examination, in $AlCl_3$, treated group, thyrodization of kidney tubular lumen and interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration, abscess formation were demonstrated and in $Al_2(SO_4)_3$, treated animals destruction of glomeruli and necrosis in kidney cortex by inflammatory cells were shownd. On the other hand, blue-pigmented cast was noted in tubules of $AlCl_3$ administration group whereas focal aluminium accumulation was noted at interstitial tissue in kidney of $Al_2(SO_4)_3$, administration group.

      • 백범 김구 선생 유품의 과학적 보존처리

        We preformed many treatments to preserve Kim-gu's relics (Baekbum-ilgi and the clothes stained with blood). The first we performed re-paper mount of binding area of baekbumilgi, and fumigated all relics to sterilize microorganism. Then all relics were sealed with biaxially oriented polyvinyalcohol film(BO-PVA film) and $N_2$ gas filled up in the BO-PVA film bags. We investigated the paper condition of Baekbum-ilgi, its brightnees was 25-35%, water content was 9.4%, and acidity was pH 4.3. These results indicated that the paper was very weak. On the other hand, We analyzed his blood type and genetic type with the solidified blood of the clothes. In result, his blood type was AB and were classified 6 genetic types such that HUMTH01 was 7-9 type, HumTPOX was 9-11 type, HumCSF1PO was 12-13 type, HumF13A01 was 4-4type, HumFESFPS was 12-12, and HumvWA was 18-18 type.

        중학생 영재가 지각한 사회적 지지와 학교생활 적응과의 관계

        The purpose of this study were to examine:(l)gifted middle school students' perception about Support from people around them, (2)the types of social support, (3)the number of support, and (4)the relationships among the factors above and the students' adjustment to school life The results obtained were as follows. On the whole, gifted middle school students obtained social support and their adjustment to school of life was higher than that of average students'. The more the students perceived support and help around them, the more they adjusted to their school life. The better important relationship was that of teachers' support and the student.,' adjustment to school life. Namely, when the students perceived their teacher(support, their adjustment to a new school was greater. This study brought to attention that the teachers' understanding of the gifted students' specific character. In addition, a close relationship between teachers and the students was to be encouraged.
