        The fixed-mobile network convergence is adapted to network structure of international trends by the change of communication environment The number of mobile communication and internet has increased dramatically, the network of existing fixed telephony must be developed in mobile network with new network model. Fixed-mobile convergences are classifyed by network convergence, service convergence and commercial convergence. These are converged dependently and service & commercial convergence are caused by network convergence among many types of convergences Therefore, the type and technic of network convergence are studied and technical developing prospect is suggested in this paper.

        Voice with individual characteristics is changed by various factors. Also, its characteristic factor is changed by heavy factors and outdoor pressure in very short time. This paper was performed to extract characteristic factor of changed voice by stomach status. For this purpose it was measured the rate of voice vibration and the strength of voice energy in the voices of empty stomach and full stomach after eating food. The result of experiment that was full stomach increases the rate of voice vibration and decreases the strength of voice energy.

        In this paper, the method using virtual scheduling suggested algorithm (VSSA) is suggested by considering cell delay variation and token rate of leaky bucket. This method is compared with virtual scheduling algorithm (VSA) and virtual scheduling algorithm with no tolerance excessive peak cell rate. As a result, the research shows that the usage parameter control using vSSA makes quality of service better than the usage parameter control using vSA or VSANT does because the suggested method reduces the violated cell probability of conformed peak cell rate and intentionally excessive peak cell rate.

        The content service of fixed-mobile convergence by communication environment must be changed to the structure of that according to worldwide trends. The new content service of information communication including those of mobile communication, increasing internet and wireless internet, mobile computer are developed by new model in convergent content services containing already wired and wireless contents. The content services of international information communication served multi-content services in convergent network are basically developed network convergence, service convergence and commercial convergence for the content model of fixed-mobile convergence. Therefore, convergent multi-service technology and MPLS/IP are largely accepted MSF in ATM infra-structure. In conclusion, this paper suggested the model of new content services in standard technology of indispensable convergent network and new fixed-mobile convergence fundamentally including mobile and high-speed communication and fixed-mobile convergence.

        In this paper, the performance of the leaky bucker algorithm according the buffer assignment in ATM network is analyzed. To evaluate the performance of it, exact input traffic model is needed. Poisson process is used as an input traffic model, and many parameters are defined such as buffer size M, token pool size N, and token generation time T. The conformed cell or violated cell of MVSA scheme is decided by cell delay variation tolerance from virtual scheduling arrival time i.e. actual arrival time and probability density function of traffic signal. Also, threshold of token rate restricts bursty cell stream. Usage parameter control scheme using MVSA compensates well influence of cell clumping than the existing scheme and restricts bursty cell in cell delay variation during peak emission interval. Thereafter, this scheme polices the violated cell probability of conformed peak cell rate and intentionally excessive peak cell rate at usage parameter control point.

      • ATM망에서 포아송 프로세스 트래픽에 대한 사용자 변수 제어 알고리즘에 관한 연구

        This paper proposes an usage parameter control algorithm about poison process traffic source in ATM networks. In ATM networks traffic control contains preventive control before congestion which is generally recommended includes connection admission control on call level and usage parameter control, network parameter control, priority control and congestion control on cell level. The function of usage parameter control at user-network interface always police keeping conformed parameter at connection admission control on calling before congestion, which accomplishes effective sharing and administration of network resources and preserves the quality of service of other connection already called. In particular the peak cell rate is only standardized by ITU-T as traffic parameter for connection admission control. Thus, usage parameter control should police at least the peak cell rate. Usage parameter control algorithms were developed considering the cell delay variation typically experienced in ATM networks. Also poisson process traffic management not only guarantees the quality of service of all connections but also allows for large statistical multiplexing gains. Usage parameter control is required for restricting the peak cell rate of bursty traffic to the parameter negotiated at call set-up phase since the peak cell rate significantly influence the network quality of service. The scheme for progressing quality of service by uasage parameter control is the method using VSA(Virtual Scheduling Algorithm) recommended ITU-T. The method using VSSA(Virtual Scheduling Suggested Algorithm) in this paper is suggested by considering cell delay variation and token rate of leaky bucket, compared VSA and VSANT(Virtual Scheduling Algorithm with No Tolerance) with VSSA which polices violated cell probability of conformed peak cell rate and intentionally excessive peak cell rate. VSSA method using PP(Poisson Process) model of input traffic source showed more quality of service than VSA and VSANT methods as usage parameter control because the suggested method reduced the violated cell probability of conformed peak cell rate and intentionally excessive peak cell rate.

        In ATM networks there are two methods in traffic control as schemes advancing the quality of service. One is reactive control after congestion and the other which is generally recommended, is preventive control before congestion, including connection admission control on call leel and usage parameter control, network parameter control, priority control and congestion control on cell level. In particular, usage parameter control is required for restricting the peak cell rate of bursy tracffic to the parameter negotiated at call set-up phase since the peak cell rate significantly influences the network quality of service.
