      • 경쟁적 효소면역검사를 이용한 혈청내 매독균 항체 검사의 유용성

        Background : Laboratory methods for detection of syphilis are Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL) and rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test to non-treponemal tests, and fluorescent treponemal antibody absorption (FTA-ABS) and microhemagglutination assay for antibodies to Treponema pallidum (MHA-TP) to treponemal tests. However, RPR card test had many false positive results and FTA-ABS IgM method required high degrees of technical ability and experience. Recently, enzyme immunoassay (EIA) kits for IgM and IgG antibodies to T. pallidum in syphilis have been developed. So, we evaluated that usefulness of competitive EIA for detection of T. pallidum antibody in serum. Methods : RPR positive 38 specimens and negative 6 specimens were compared by T. pallidum hemagglutination (TPHA), two commercial competitive EIA kits for detection of syphilis and FTA-ABS IgM. Those data were compared with concordant and discordant rate of each RPR, TPHA, EIA and FTA-ABS IgM. Results : 28 of 34 RPR positive specimens were TPHA(+) and EIA (+), and 6 of 6 RPR negative specimens were TPHA (-) and EIA (-). The data of two EIAs were same results with TPHA. 3 of 28 EIA positive specimens were FTA-ABS IgM (+), and 16 of 16 EIA negative specimens were FTA-ABS IgM (-). Conclusion: Two commercial competitive EIA kits for detection of syphilis were evaluated. The EIA method could be replaced with RPR and TPHA, and this method was possible to combination for detection of syphilis.

      • Job Expectation of Paraprofessionals Who Will Work with Students with Disabilities in Seoul

        The use of paraprofessionals was first officially suggested in a Special Education Development Plan, which was initiated in 2003 and will continue through 2007 in South Korea. The plan was devised by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (MOE), and is aimed at promoting the opportunities of inclusive education for children with disabilities and enhancing the quality of special education. The purpose of this survey was to identify paraprofessionals expectation in regard with their role, responsibility, training, supervision, and satisfaction to start this job position for working in general elementary and middle school, and special school. The majority of the 77 participants of this survey revealed their high expectation about their role, supervision, and respects as a member of the educational community. Suggestions for future research and implications for special and general education teachers preservice and inservice were discussed. Suggestions for future research and implications for special and general education teachers preservice and inservice were discussed.|한국에서 “특수교육보조원”의 활용은 제2차 장애인복지발전 5개년 계획(2003-2007)(관계부처합동, 2003.2.19)의 일환으로 시작되었다. 특수교육보조원 제도는 통합교육의 기회를 활성화하고 특수교육의 질 제고를 목표로 교육 인적 자원부에 의해 계획되었다. 본 설문의 목적은 일반학급, 특수학급, 특수학교에서 일하게 될 보조원들의 역할과 책임, 훈련, 감독, 업무 만족도에 대한 보조원들의 기대를 조사하기 위한 것이었다. 본 설문지는 2004 특수교육보조원제 시범운영의 일환으로써 서울 지역에 모집된 90명의 특수교육보조원들을 위한 연수프로그램의 마지막 날 배포되었다. 설문에 응답한 77명의 보조원 중 대부분은 그들의 약할과 감독, 학교라는 사회 안에서 한 구성원으로써의 존중감 등에 대한 높은 기대를 나타내었다. 특수교사와 일반교사 양성프로그램과 현장교사 연수프로그램을 위한 미래의 연구방향과 함축에 대해 함께 논의하였다.

        Optimal Doctor Blade Design Considering Contact Stress and Toner Properties

        The Doctor Blade is mounted to a toner cartridge and applies consistent pressure to the development roller. This part enables thetoner adhering to the development roller to form a layer of consistent thickness. The contact pressure between the development rollerand the Doctor Blade is an important factor determining not only image quality, but also toner cartridge durability. In this study, testpoints were extracted using a central composite design method and contact analysis was carried out using NASTRAN, an FEM tool. In addition, based on measurements of toner weight by unit area and image concentrations through sample production andexperiments under various conditions, approximated models were derived using the response surface method. With approximatedmodeling of contact pressure set as an objective function, and approximated modeling in relation to experimental values set asconstraint conditions, the optimal solution was derived by applying the optimization technique of genetic algorithms. Moreover, byapplying the optimal solution to an actual sample, its reliability was verified through comparison of the optimal results of geneticalgorithms with the actual solutions.

        여성 한부모의 종사상지위와 빈곤지위 결정요인 분석 -다차원적 요인들을 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study is to categorize the determinants of type of employment and poverty status into individual factors, family factors, and human capital factors, and to check their impact in order to improve poverty and search for decent jobs for single female parents. This study used the micro data of 1,626 single mothers from ‘A Study on the Status of Sole-Parent Families’ of year 2018, which was conducted by Korean Women’s Development Institute and Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. The results of analysis are below. First, as for factors affecting the odds of belonging to a non-employed group compared to a regular workers group, health status and depression level were statistically significant in individual factors, as in temporary-daily workers group. But the odds ratios were different. When the level of health decreased by 1 unit, the odds ratio of belonging to the temporary-daily workers group increased by 27.4%, but that of belong to non-employed group was increased by 71.7%, proving the strong influence of the level of health on type of employment. Second, among family factors, unlike temporary-daily workers group, in non-employed group compared to regular workers group, every age segment of the youngest child in the family, showed strong statistical significance in all age groups (p<0.001). The odds of being a non-employed group decreased by 68.4% compared to the case of a preschooler when the youngest children were elementary school students, and decreased by 66.3% when they were middle school students or older. Third, as a human capital factor, the odds of becoming a temporary-daily worker decreased 26.9% compared to the group who did not had a job when they had a job a year before becoming a single parent family, but the odds of belonging a non-employed group decreased by 64.0% when they had a job. As the determinants of poverty status, health status, number of household members, age range of the youngest child, and years of schooling were statistically significant. when the type of employment one year before becoming a single-parent family was temporary-daily workers, the odds of belonging to the poor group increased by 80.3% compared to regular workers, and 171.8% when they were non-employed. Based on these results, practical and policy measures were presented. 본 연구의 목적은 여성 한부모의 빈곤개선과 양질의 일자리 탐색을 위해 종사상지위와 빈곤지위 결정요인을 개인요인, 가족요인, 인적자본요인으로 구분하고 그 영향이 어떠한지 확인하는데목적이 있다. 분석을 위해 한국여성정책연구원과 여성가족부가 실시한 ‘2018년 한부모가족 실태조사’ 마이크로데이터를 이용하였으며 이중 여성한부모 1,626명의 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상용근로자 대비 비취업 집단에 속할 승산에 미치는 요인들로는 임시 및일용근로자와 마찬가지로 개인요인에서 건강상태와 우울수준이 유의미하게 나타났다. 단, 그 승산비에 차이가 있었다. 임시 및 일용근로자의 경우 건강수준이 1단위 감소할 때 해당 집단에 속할승산이 27.4%만 증가하였지만 비취업 집단의 경우 71.7% 증가하여 건강이 취업여부에 미치는막강한 영향력이 증명되었다. 둘째, 가족요인 중에서는 임시 및 일용근로자와 다르게 가장 어린자녀의 연령대가 모든 집단에서 강한 통계적 유의성을 보였다(p<0.001). 우선 가장 어린 자녀가초등학생인 경우, 미취학 아동인 경우 대비 비취업 집단에 속할 승산이 68.4% 감소하였으며, 중학생 이상인 경우에는 66.3% 감소하였다. 셋째, 인적자본요인으로는 한부모가족이 되기 1년 전취업했던 경우 취업을 하지 않았던 집단 대비 임시 및 일용근로자가 될 승산은 26.9% 감소하였지만 비취업 집단의 승산은 64.0% 감소하였다. 빈곤지위 결정요인으로는 건강상태, 가구원수, 가장 어린자녀의 연령대, 교육연수가 유의하게 나타났으며, 한부모가족이 되기 1년 전 종사상지위가 임시 및 일용근로자일 때는 상용근로자 대비 빈곤할 집단에 속할 승산이 80.3%나 증가하였으며, 비취업자였을 경우엔 171.8%나 증가하였다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 정책적⋅실천적 방안을제시하였다.

        일반 초·중·고등학교에서 보편적 차원의 긍정적 행동지원을 적용한 국내 실험 연구 분석

        Positive Behavior Support has been emerging with concerns regarding how to addressing behavior problems in schools. This study investigated studies implemented schoolwide and classwide positive behavior support in elementary, middle, and high schools. Through Korean academic databases, 9 research articles published in Korean journals from 1997 to 2017 were identified, and these were analyzed based on three analysis frameworks: general characteristics, implementation stages and utilized intervention strategies. The results showed that schoolwide positive behavior support were implemented in 3 studies, and classwide positive behavior support were conducted in 6 studies. As a result of analyzing the implementation stages of positive behavior support on the universal level, mostly special teachers, general teachers, and researchers participated in the positive support implementation team and held teacher education and regularly held team meetings for high fidelity performance. Thirdly, intervention strategies using universal positive behavior support include restructuring the environment, setting expected behaviors, direct teaching expected behaviors, self-monitoring and evaluating, and implementing reinforcement system. Based on the results of this study, discussion and future directions for research were suggested. 긍정적 행동지원은 학교에서의 문제행동 관리에 관한 고민에서 시작되었다. 본 연구는 일반 초․중․고등학교에서 학교 및 학급차원의 긍정적 행동지원을 실행한 국내 선행연구를 고찰하였다. 분석된 연구는 국내 전문 학술데이터베이스 검색을 통하여 1997년부터 2017년 현재까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 총 9편의 연구를 일반적인 특성, 실행 단계 및 활용된 중재 전략이라는 세 가지 분석틀에 따라 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 혹은 학년 전체 차원에서 긍정적 행동지원이 실행된 연구는 3편, 학급차원에서 긍정적 행동적 행동지원이 실행된 연구는 6편이었다. 둘째, 보편적 차원의 긍정적 행동지원의 실행 단계 별로 분석한 결과 주로 특수교사와 일반교사, 연구자(외부지원자)가 긍정적 행동지원 협력팀원으로 참여하였고, 충실도 높은 실행을 위해 협력팀 교육 및 정기적 협의회를 개최하였다. 셋째, 보편적 차원에서 긍정적 행동지원을 위한 중재 전략으로는 환경의 재구조화, 목표행동 정하기 및 사전교수, 자기점검 및 평가와 그에 따른 강화가 주로 활용되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 논의와 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

        A Gender Comparison of Welfare Exit Among the Middle-aged Population

        Using a sample of 251 middle-aged welfare recipients (aged 45-64) with the ability to work from the Korean Welfare Panel Study 5th to 15th waves (2010-2020), this study explored the factors affecting welfare exit (no longer receiving medical benefits) by gender. Using the Kaplan-Meir survival estimates, the results suggested female middle-aged welfare recipients left welfare slightly faster than males. The Cox proportional hazard models with time-dependent variables revealed that levels of depression and alcohol dependence were not associated with welfare exit for both the female and male welfare recipients. Subjective health condition and years of schooling were statistically related to welfare exit in the full sample, and a longer duration of receiving welfare benefits reduced the hazard of leaving welfare for both middle-aged women and men. The results also revealed that single fathers were less likely to leave welfare than married male recipients. The study results imply that gender-oriented support measures are required.

      • 천연 항균물질 및 생분해성 고분자를 이용한 항균 및 오염방지의 이중기능을 가지는 환경친화적 식품포장재료의 제조

        환경친화적인 기술 및 소재의 수요가 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며 이와 함께 식품포장재료의 트렌드 또한 변화하고 있다. 식품포장재료의 경우 건강과 직결되기 때문에 위생 및 유해 미생물(세균, 곰팡이 등)로부터의 안정성이 매우 중요한 사항이다. 이에 본 연구는 바이오고분자(biopolymer)인 starch 와 polylactic acid 복합체를 기반으로 천연 wax(방오 및 항균 기능)와 essential oil(항균 기능)을 이용한 초소수성 표면 형성 및 항균 특성을 가지는 식품포장재료를 제조했다. 이후 wax 와 essential oil 의 시너지 효과로 인해 Escherichia.coli 와 S. epidermidis 를 이용한 항균성 테스트에서 90% 이상의 뛰어난 항균성을 나타내며 다양한 유/무기 오염원에 대해 우수한 오염 방지 성능을 확인하였다. 결과적으로 식품 교차오염(cross-contamination) 방지 및 제품의 신선도 유지를 위한 환경친화적 식품포장재료 소재로의 응용 가능성을 기대할 수 있다.
