        $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ 난류모델을 이용한 축대칭 엔진 실린더내 유동장의 수치해석

        Current turbulence models including modified $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model do not predict compression effect on turbulence accurately in an internal combustion engine. The $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model was suggested to improve the predictability of compression effect by We et al. In this paper a numeri-cal study was performed to clarify the applicability of the $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulenc model to the calculation of the in-cylinder flow of an axisymmetric engine. THe results using $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model are compared to those from the modified $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model and experimental data. The mean veloc-ity and rms velocity profiles using $K-{\varepsilon}-{\tau}$ turbulence model showed a better agreement with an experimental data than those of modifid $K-{\varepsilon}-e$ turbulence model.

        4실린더 디젤기관 배기계의 최적설계에 관한연구

        Dynamic effect of gas in exhaust manifold influences the volumetric efficiency of the engine. Especially in case of multi-cylinder engine the shape of exhaust manifold is important for the opti-mum design of exhasut manifold complicated. In this paper the effects of exhaust manifold systems on volumetric efficiency were investigated for the 4 cylinder 4 stroke-cycle diesel engine. Volumetric efficiency was calculated by the method of characteristics. The calculation results coincided well the test results. This study showed that the appropriate position and diameter of exhaust manifold branch are important factors in increasing volumetric efficiency and decreasing pumping loss.

      • 조직이론적 접근을 통한 사회복지조직의 집단화(체인화) 현상에 대한 이해와 전망

        The purpose of this study is to examine the emergence of multi-units social service organizations in perspectives of organizational theories. In specific, Community Social Service Centers(CSSC) will be reviewed as the case, and the impact of multi-units social service organizations on the overall of social service settings in Korea will be also discussed. Examining of the national list of CSSC indicated that about 60% of 306 CSSC appeared to belong to the incorporations(i.e. operating bodies) which were operating more than two CSSC. There were also four incorporations which were operating more than 10 CSSC, nationwide. These incorporations typically may operate other types of social services organizations such as residential facilities or senior centers, etc. Thus, their size of multi-units social service organizations may be bigger than the estimated. Theoretically, this paper reviews the emergence of multi-units CSSC. Even if property-rights theory, organizational integration theory, institutionalization theory, and principal-agent theory were specifically examined, the researcher concluded that these theories contributed just partially in explaining the emergence of multi-units CSSC, but not enough. In sum, the impetus of multi-units CSSC is the government driven private operator choosing system, which is already epidemic in social service settings. Both of principal-agent theory and institutionalization theory seem to provide more contribution in explaining this system, rather than those theories of property-rights and organizational integration. In addition, the emergence of multi-units CSSC will be going further, for the time being. One reason may be the fact that there is little alternatives to the government driven private operator choosing system. Another reason is the fact that new social service organizations such as senior centers and the service centers for the handicapped are continuously established.

        사영을 이용한 고정효과모형의 추정가능함수

        본 논문은 고정효과의 선형모형에서 모수 또는 모수들의 선형함수로 추정가능한 함수를 다루고 있다. 추정할 수 있는 모수들의 수보다 더 많은 모수를 갖는 고정효과모형의 가정에서 관심모수가 추정가능한 모수가 아닌 경우에 최소제곱해는 유일하지 않다. 모형내 모수추정법으로 최소제곱법의 이용은 자료의 벡터공간에서 사영을 구하는 방법과 동일하므로 최소제곱해에 불변인 성질의 추정량을 갖는 추정가능함수의 형태를 사영의 관점에서 파악하고 구성하는 방법을 다루고 있다. 또한, 선형적으로 독립인 추정가능함수들의 기저집합을 구성하는 방법으로 사영공간의 고유벡터들을 활용할 수 있음을 논의하고 있다. This paper deals with estimable functions of parameters of less than full rank linear model. In general, the parameters of an overspecified model are not uniquely determined by least squares solutions. It discusses how to formulate linear estimable functions as functions of parameters in the model and shows how to use projection matrices to check out whether a parameter or function of the pamameters is estimable. It also presents a method to form a basis set of estimable functions using linearly independent characteristic vectors generating the row space of the model matrix.

      • 퍼지 제어를 이용한 차량 간격 자동 제어 장치

        Advanced Vehicle Control System (AVCS) is one of the key elements in Intelligent Vehicle and Highway Systems (IVHS) . In AVCS, Autonomous Intelligent CruiseControl (AICC) is generally understood to be a system that can be achieved in the near future without the demanding infrastructure components and technologies. AICC is an automatic vehicle following system with no human engagement in the longitudinal vehicle direction. The purpose of the system is to enhance the driving safety, convenience, and .for the most important, to increase the traffic capacity on roads. This paper proposes a way to reduce the traffic congestion using the fuzzy logic applied on vehicle model and simulations. Computer simulations were performed to study the performance of the proposed AICC system and analyze vehicle following under manual and automatic control. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the AICC system and its beneficial effects on traffic flow.<br/>

        혼합모형의 추정가능함수

        본 논문은 고정요인과 확률요인의 혼합모형에서 추정가능함수를 논의하고 있다. 고정효과모형에서 정의된 추정가능 함수가 혼합효과모형에서 어떻게 정의되어야 하는 가를 규정하고 추정가능함수의 분산추정치를 구하는 방법을 제시하고 있다. 또한 혼합모형에서 분산성분의 추정을 위한 제곱합의 계산에 상수적합법을 이용하고 추론을 위한 자유도의 계산에 Satterthwaite의 근사화를 다루고 있으며 분산성분을 구하기 위한 모형의 적합방식으로 단계별 방법을 적용하고 있다. 모형의 단계별 적합에서 주어지는 모형행렬의 사영을 이용한 제1종 제곱합의 계산방식이 제공되며 사영을 이용한 변동요인별 제1종 제곱합의 기댓값 계산에 Hartley의 합성법이 논의된다. This paper discusses how to establish estimable functions when there are fixed and random effects in design models. It proves that estimable functions of mixed models are not related to random effects. A fitting constants method is used to obtain sums of squares due to random effects and Hartley's synthesis is used to calculate coefficients of variance components. To test about the fixed effects the degrees of freedom associated with divisor are determined by means of the Satterthwaite approximation.
