        신라 말 선사비문의 서술태도와 역사적 의의

        This research is about the historical significance of the erection of tombstones of the Zen monks and the descriptive attitude in the epitaph in them.The Zen monks described in the epitaph of the tombstones were mystical being with a genius ability. Mothers ofthe Zen monks had a precognitive dream about the birth of a baby as the reincarnation of the monk of high virtue and the receiving of Buddhistic symbols. The mothers practiced Buddhist precepts and prenatal educational care wishing for a fine child.The superior physical condition of the Zen monks and their great ability to save the world were described and their strong tie to Buddhism wasemphasized. Even before leaving home and becoming Zen monks,they were qualified earlier on. Afte rthey became Zen monks, they achieved a great work as they studied the Buddhist doctrines and revealed their various mystical ability. A lot of labor and finance were necessary for the erection of the tombstones for the Zen monks. Posthumous epithets and the name of the tower should be granted from the nation and sometimes they were criticized for its mobilizing toomuchlabor. However, they had good reasons for their active erection of tombstones. First, they tried hard to preserve the deeds of the monks for a long time and to let them be known more widely. Secondly, they wanted to strengthen theunity and enhancetheirposition by making different groups of people such as disciples and believers participate in the work. Thirdly, they intended to increase the number of believers. Zen, also as a religion, needed sufficient number of believers to retain its religious body. The Zen believers ranged from the common people to the royal family but its mainstream was the common people. The common people needed a religious shelter related to everyday life. For fulfilling this desire of the common people,the Zen temple highlighted the mystical ability and deeds of the monks and recorded them on the epitaph providing a mystical being for the public. 이 연구는 신라 말에 많이 건립되는 선종 승려의 비문에 묘사된 승려의 모습과 비석의 건립이 갖는 역사적 의의에 대한 것이다.비문에 묘사된 선종 승려들은 천재적인 능력을 지닌 신이한 존재였다.선종 승려의 어머니는 고승의 환생,불교적 상징물을 받는 태몽을 꾸며,불교 신앙,또는 계율로 근신하면서 태교하여훌륭한 아이 낳기를 바란다. 선종 승려들의 신체적 조건은 매우 훌륭하며,제세(濟世)의 능력을 지니고 있으며,불교와의 인연을 강조하고 있다.선종승려들은 어릴 때부터 출가 수행자의자질을 갖추고 있는 것으로 묘사되었다. 출가 후에 선종 승려들은 불교 교리를 공부하면서 빼어난 성취를 보여 존경을받을 뿐만 아니라,여러 가지의 신이한 능력을 보여준다.이것은 종교적 체험과신비화에 주안점이 두어져 있는 것이다. 선종 승려의 비석 건립은 많은 노동력과 경제력이 요구될 뿐만 아니라 국가로부터 시호와 탑의 이름을 받아야 했으며,지나친 노동력 동원으로 비난의 대상이되기도 하였다.그럼에도 선종사원에서 비석 건립에 적극적인 것은 이유가 있었다.그것은 첫째 비석의 건립을 통하여 선사의 행적을 오래 동안 보존하고 널리알리려 하였다.둘째 비석의 건립에 제자,신자,속제자 등 다양한 계층의 사람들을 참여시킴으로써 결속을 강화하고,위상을 높이고자 하였다.셋째 신자를 늘리려는 의도가 있었다.선종도 종교이므로 교단의 유지를 위한 신자가 필요하였다. 선종사원의 신자는 민중에서 왕실에 이르기까지 다양한 구성을 보이나 주류는 민중이었다.민중들은 일상의 삶과 관련 있는 종교적 의지처가 필요하였다.선종사원에서는 이러한 민중들의 욕구를 충족시키기 위하여 선사들의 뛰어난 능력과 신이한 행적을 부각시켜 신비적 존재로 만들고 이를 비문에 기록하였다.

        이온질화처리된 Inconel 625 합금의 기계적 성질 및 마모 특성에 관한 연구

        Material for high-speed airframe are typically selected such that high ablation resistance is maintained on the material surface while high pull-strength is maintained inside the material. However, in case of application to extremely severe condition, the material should have better mechanical properties. Thus, heat treatment or surface treatment is utilized to improve the mechanical properties. This study is conducted as a preliminary research to improve the mechanical properties of vehicle material considering the frictional heat produced during high-speed vehicle is in motion. In this study, Inconel 625 alloy, widely used material for the application of high-speed air vehicle, is ion nitriding processed and then mechanical property test and wear test on this material are conducted consequently. As results, mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength and hardness are increased, and also wear rate is increased at particular condition.

        Expression of Gpnmb in NK Cell Development from Hematopoietic Stem Cells

        Background: Molecular mechanisms of natural killer (NK) cell development from hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) have not been clearly elucidated, although the roles of some genes in NK cell development have been reported previously. Thus, searching for molecules and genes related NK cell developmental stage is important to understand the molecular events of NK cell development. Methods: From our previous SAGE data-base, Gpnmb (Glycoprotein non-metastatic melanoma protein B) was selected for further analysis. We confirmed the level of mRNA and protein of Gpnmb through RT-PCR, quantitative PCR, and FACS analysis. Then we performed cell-based ELISA and FACS analysis, to know whether there are some molecules which can bind to Gpnmb. Using neutralizing antibody, we blocked the interaction between NK cells and OP9 cells, and checked IFN-γ production by ELISA kit. Results: Gpnmb expression was elevated during in vitro developmental stage and bound to OP9 cells, but not to NK precursor cells. In addition, we confirmed that the levels of Gpnmb were increased at NK precursor stage in vivo. We confirmed syndecan4 as a candidate of Gpnmb's binding molecule. When the interaction between NK cells and OP9 cells were inhibited in vitro, IFN-γ production from NK cells were reduced. Conclusion: Based on these observations, it is concluded that Gpnmb has a potential role in NK cell development from HSCs.         개인화기 총열 가공방법에 따른 기계적 성질 및 성능 고찰

        In manufacturing a barrel of small arms, broaching or button rifling method is widely applied. These methods, however, cause high production cost and technical difficulties in manufacturing in spite of their low investment cost at early stage. Thus, rotary swaging & radial forging method is studied as an alternative considering the product quality and cost effectiveness in manufacturing. In this study, barrels of small arms were manufactured by button rifling method and rotary swaging & radial forging method, and then mechanical properties of these barrels and performance of the small arm assemblies were compared and analyzed. As results, the barrel manufactured by rotary swaging & radial forging method showed higher mechanical properties including tensile strength, yield strength, and hardness compared to the barrel manufactured by button rifling method. In addition, at small arm assembly level, firing test was conducted with more than 10,000 shots, and small arm of barrel made by rotary swaging & radial forging method exhibited equivalent or higher performance in dispersion and firing rates. Therefore, it has been expected that the rotary swaging & radial forging method can be applied in barrel production.
