In the expansion of odontogenic cyst, degradation of extracellular matrix and resorption of bone are accompanied, but its mechanism is under debate. The degrees of inflammation and fibrosis were graded in 39 cases of odontogenic cysts. Cytoplasmic expressions in various cell types according to them were analyzed using immunohistochemistry for MMPs and TIMPs. In epithelial cells, MMP-2 expression was increased with marked fibrosis(p=0.018) and in stromal cells, MMP-2,-9 and TIMP-2 expressions were slightly higher in cases with mild inflammation and marked fibrosis. Tendencies of positive correlation were found between MMP-2,-9 and TIMP-2 expressions in epithelial cells and between MMP-1 and MMP-9 expressions in stromal cells. These results suggest that MMP-1,-2,-9 and TIMP-2 expression might be related to the expansion of odontogenic cysts, and the expression rate of them was different according to cell types and the degree of inflammation and fibrosis.

This essay examines the temporality in Anne Charlotte Robertson's film diary Five Year Diary in the audiovisual aspects. Robertson is a film diarist who made with Super 8mm film camera first-person documentaries and also wrote the written diary. In the visual aspect, the time-lapse images show intensively and experimentally the temporality which disappears and flows in an ironic manner. This presents Robertson's own temporal sense of life. From the auditory aspect, the sounds that are multi-layered during various times with the recorded sound on the film reel, the voiceover recorded on the audio cassette tape, and the live commentary narration done at the shows compound the auditory temporality. This resembles the spoken words, which are constantly and consistently added at the psychoanalysis dialogues. Anne Charlotte Robertson presented in Five Year Diary her private life from her own point of view and talked about it to the audience. Robertson's distinctive temporality arises while she originally utilizes the mediality of film as an audiovisual medium. 본 논문에서는 앤 샬롯 로버트슨의 <5년간의 일기>가 지닌 시간성을 시각적 측면과 청각적 측면으로 나누어 고찰하고, 그러한 시간성이 작품의 객체이자 주체인 작가 자신의 삶에의 어떤 감각적 인식을드러내는지, 나아가 그를 통해 볼 수 있는 영상 매체(medium)와 삶의(시간적) 관계란 무엇인지를 논한다. 앤 샬롯 로버트슨이 체험한 세계는그녀가 만든 시청각 기록물로서의 <5년간의 일기>에서 어떤 감각으로감지되는가? 그녀는 왜 그토록 빠져나오기 힘든 미지의 슬픔을 지니고 살았을까? 그녀는 어떻게 삶의 존재적 고통을 이겨내고자 했는가? 그리고 그것들은 필름과 녹음테이프의 매체적 속성과 어떤 연관을 맺고 있는가? <5년간의 일기>가 새롭게 드러내고 실험하는 영화의 매체성은 무엇인가? 이 물음들과 더불어 ‘일기’를 ‘보기’와 ‘듣기’를 통해 분석해 나간다.

Adenomatous ductal proliferation is a recently described morphologic entity by Yu and Donath in 2001. It occurs in the major salivary gland, mainly parotid or submandibular gland, and accompanied by salivary gland tumors or chronic inflammation. Adenomatous ductal proliferation is different from acinar adenomatoid hyperplasia of the minor salivary gland showing clusters or lobules of mucinous acini. The patient was a 53 years old female and left parotid gland was removed because of palpable mass. On gross examination, a well demarcated mass with usual gross findings of pleomorphic adenoma, measuring 2.Ocm in diameter. Microscopically the parotid mass was of pleomorphic adenoma, and a small, unencapsulated nodule, measuring 0.2cm, was noted beside the main mass. The nodular lesion consisted of closely packed ductular structures intermingled with acinar cells in the periphery. Neither cellular atypia nor mitoses were found.

This research is a study on student's understanding fundamental concepts of mathematical curriculum, especially in geometry domain. The goal of researching is to analyze student's concepts about that domain and get the mathematical teaching methods. We developed various questions of descriptive assessment. Then we set up the term, procedure of research for the understanding student's knowledge of geometric figures. And we analyze the student's understanding extent through investigating questions of descriptive assessment. In this research, we concluded that most of students are having difficulty with defining the fundamental concepts of mathematics, especially in geometry. Almost all the students defined the fundamental conceptions of mathematics obscurely and sometimes even missed indispensable properties. And they can't distinguish between concept definition and concept image. Prior to this study, we couldn't identify this problem. Here are some suggestions. First, take time to reflect on your previous mathematics method. And then compile some well-selected questions of descriptive assessment that tell us more about student's understanding in geometric concepts.
