        단독주택지의 어린이공원 리모델링을 위한 아동 요구에 관한 조사연구

        This survey is to find out children' needs of D children's park to remodel into a new one and their common opinions about the child playground, and to contribute these results to drive alternative plans. This park is very old and located in detached residential area, Wooa-dong, Deokjin-gu, Jeon-city. The survey was performed by a questionnaire, and the questionnaire was based on the relative literature reviews and was redesigned by researchers. Data were collected from 198 children, who had attended elementary school in Wooa-dong. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows: 1) Play experiences of D children's park were very important for children, so they remembered it. Above all, they remembered the perceptions of D children's park through playing on the playground facilities and the communication with their friends at that time. 2) Children would like to play creatively with facilities, but they need the traditional play facilities like a slide and a swing. So, it would be important for D children's park to plan well with the good facilities, and even it was mentioned in the literature reviews. The planning of park should be checked as an adventure playground, which can allow children to play creatively and with variety, however it should be still considered with some traditional playground facilities.

        노인 친화적 감성용 욕조 대안에 대한 노인 소비자의 요구 및 평가

        This study finds out the aged consumers' needs on the developing elderly friendly and sensitive bathtub. This bathtub focuses on enhancement of multi-senses and enhancement of health, safety & convenience during bath. The enhancing multi-senses would have four functions; therapy with color and aroma, the massage with micro water bubbles, the visual and auditory with TV & cinema, and the auditory with music and radio. Also, enhancing others of bathtub would have seven functions; emergency bell, blood-pressure check system for health condition, water temperature indicator, keeping water warm, reading a book in that, and controlling of house entrance door and a getting the phone during bath. The aged consumers' needs find throughout a questionnaire survey, and 497 data was analyzed. The main results are as follow. They consider a full bath behavior as a healthcare. They have an intention to purchase or use the elderly and friendly bathtub, and they prefer using it in common facilities to using it at home. They highly need health related function of bathtub, which are massage (64.4%), blood-pressure check system (55.1%) and aroma therapy (45.7%). The emergency bell (67.0%), keeping water warm (62.2%), and water temperature indicator (49.7%), related to safety & information function of bathtub, are needed. Also, they think tolerance for error and low physical effort in bathtub design alternative, opening door and inside sitting support, to be important.

        Housing Characteristics and Determinants of Housing Cost Burden of Young Single- or Two-person Households in the U.S. Metropolitan Areas

        The purpose of this study was to explore housing characteristics of young single- or two-person households in the U.S. metropolitan urban areas and determinants of their housing cost burden. Total 764 single-person households, 744 two-person households and 424 households with three or more persons were selected from the 2011 American Housing Survey public-use microdata for the study based on specific sampling criteria. The major findings are as follows: (1) In comparisons with larger households, single- or two-person households were characterized to be headed by younger householders, to have less income, and to have a greater proportion of households living in central cities of metropolitan areas, renting housing units, living in smaller size units or multifamily structures; (3) housing cost of single- or two-person households were significantly less than a larger households while housing costs per unit square footage (SQFT) of single- or two-person households was significantly greater; (4) regardless of the household size, there are many household headed by young college graduates paying too much of their income for housing, and single-person households were found to have the greatest housing cost burden; and (5) a linear combination of low-income status, monthly housing costs per unit SQFT, annual household income, and unit SQFT per person was found to be most efficient to predict single- or two-person households with housing cost burden.

        소양 문화마을 주택의 평면 특성을 통해 본 최근 농촌주거의 공간 디자인 경향

        This study was to and out contemporary space design trends of rural houses in So-yang Munhwa village by analyzing their floor plan shapes and space relations & elements of floor plans. There were built 71 houses in that village but it were possible to collect housing data, floor plans & general building records of 41 houses, from house register. By analyzing those data, findings were as follows : 1) Floor plan shapes of rural houses had a tendency to be diverse, various form of 'ㅋ' than simple form of 'ㅡ'. 2) Room-Living-Room, 3 bay arrangement was very strong trends, and traditional planning characteristics that the openness of living space was keeping. 3) Anbang(master bedroom) and living space were important, so two spaces were set forth of floor plan and Anbang with a bathroom were often showed. 4) DK space and its relation to other spaces were important factor to classily 2 floor plan types of them. 5) DK(dining kitchen) space had an openness from back entrance and DK were separated from public spaces L.D.K. Utility or balcony/veranda spaces as a support space of kitchen were planned in rural houses, and they were influenced from apartment houses or urban houses.

        주거복지 현장의 전문인력 직무내용과 특성 분석

        The study aimed to analyze roles and responsibilities of housing welfare professionals in fields in order to provide directions of the Housing Welfare Professional Certificate program operated by the Korean Housing Association. In October 2013, a series of interviews were performed to five housing welfare professionals in local governments, public enterprises and private organizations in order to explore field cases. Additionally, administrative works related to housing welfare were explored based on information from local government websites. It was found that roles and responsibilities of housing welfare professionals included a wide range of works such as provisions and management of public rental housing, housing counseling, investment and analysis of residential environment, exploring resources, education, and improvement of poor-condition housing and urban environment. In order for more efficient and effective provisions of housing welfare services, it was suggested to improve housing welfare service delivery systems and to make clear definition of job ranges, and knowledges and experiences required to be housing welfare professionals.

        농촌 경관주택의 방향 설정을 위한 거주자 요구 조사

        The purpose of this study was to find out the residents' needs fur rural houses and to suggest the policy directions for developing Korean rural viewscape houses. The subjects were 386 houses and residents. They were selected according to accessibility, area characteristics, administrative district, and village types. The data were collected by using the interview and observation method based on the questionnaire. By analyzing the residents' needs for rural houses, the following conclusions were derived: 1) In order to preserve the rural characteristic, the government should lead to establish the yard space and the exterior design factors such as wall material and color, and the shape, material, and color of roof. 2) At the same time, the government should provide the residents with the subsidy for house improvement, so that they can build the desirabe size of house and the aged remodel their houses. 3) The contemporary design model of rural Han-ok should be developed and built. 4) The new rural house model improving roof design should be developed, because present houses with slab roofs and skirt roofs spoil the harmony with the rural natural environment. 5) The direction of rural houses for viewscape was defined as to satisfy residents' needs for convenient housing lift and to harmony visual and physical factors - building form, material and color - involving Korean rural housing culture.

        NORC 관점에서 본 서울시 노인밀집 아파트의 주거환경 실태조사 - 노원구와 강남구지역의 아파트를 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 NORC 가능지역으로 선정된 아파트를 대상으로 NORC 관점에서 물리적 주거환경 실태를 진단해보고, 향후 초고령화 시대를 대비하여 일반주거단지의 고령화 대응방안을 모색해보고자 하였다. 이에 선행연구에서 밝혀진 우리나라 아파트 지역 중 자연발생 노인커뮤니티의 잠재적 가능성이 있는 아파트를 대상으로 현장 실태조사를 실시하였으며, 향후 도래하게 될 일반주거지의 자연발생적인 고령화현상을 대비하여 NORC의 관점에서 주거환경실태를 분석하였다. 노원과와 강남구 총 22개 아파트 단지를 대상으로 현장 방문조사를 실시하였으며, 사진촬영을 병행하였다. 조사내용은 아파트 단지규모, 단위세대면적, 평면유형, 주택가격, 입지여건, 근린생활시설, 유니버설디자인 적용, 보안 및 방범, 건강관련시설, 노인관련시설이다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 조사대상 아파트 단지들은 대부분 20년이 경과한 노후된 아파트로서, 평균면적 46㎡-85㎡, 평균 세대수 1000-1500세대로 나타났으며, 평균 층수는 13-14층으로 나타났다. 입지조건은 대부분 지하철 역에서 가까우며 인근에 대중교통 정류장이 소재하고 있었다. 단지내 산책로, 등산로, 텃밭, 화단 등의 건강관련시설이 잘 조성되어 있었으며, 단지 인근에 노인복지관, 데이케어센터, 사회복지관 등이 소재하고 있었다. 향후 조사대상 노인밀집 아파트단지가 건강한 환경으로 전환되기 위해 보완되어야 할 물리적 환경 특성으로는 단지내 유니버설디자인 환경조성, 주차공간확보, 보행 및 자전거 도로 환경 조성, 각종사인체계 정비 등으로 파악되었다. This study aims to examine the physical housing environment status from the perspective of NORC in apartment buildings selected as the potential naturally occurring retirement communities. A total of 22 apartment complexes were investigated on-site and photographed at the same time. The survey details are apartment complex size, unit size, floor plan type, housing price, location conditions, neighborhood facilities, universal design application, security, health-related facilities, and elderly-related facilities. The results of the study are as follows. Most of the apartment complexes were aged apartments with 20 years old, with an average area of 46-85 m2. Most of the location conditions were close to subway stations and public transportation stops. Health-related facilities such as walking trails, hiking trails, gardens and flower beds in the complex were well constructed, and a senior welfare center, day care center, and social welfare center were located near the complex. The characteristics of the physical environment that should be supplemented in order to convert the apartment complexes of senior citizens into a healthy environment were found to be the formation of a universal design environment in the complex, the securing of parking spaces, the creation of a pedestrian and bicycle road environment, and the readjustment of various company systems.

        일본 고령사회의 소통공간 ‘살롱’에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and role of salons, a social space operating in Japan, which has recently become a super-aged society. The data for this study were collected through a literature review and through field visits. The literature survey analyzed 23 cases of salons in detached housing areas, and the field survey was conducted at salons in five apartment housing complexes with an elderly ratio of more than 40 percent in Tokyo, Japan. The survey details include the use of salons, operation methods, modification status, appearance characteristics of buildings, facilities and spaces, and activities. According to the analysis of the 23 salons in the detached housing area, the uses of these spaces included child care, rest for caregivers, multi-purpose utilization for conversations and meetings, hobby activities, a library, and a gallery. There were multiple functions of the five salons at the apartment housing complexes, included for conversations, gatherings, meals, and to obtain information. Based on Japan's various salons, it is believed that the use of idle resources such as salons in the regions under study can continue to have the effect of preventing social problems such as loneliness caused by the isolation of the elderly to realize a more prepared aged society in the future. 본 연구는 최근 초고령사회에 진입한 일본의 지역사회에서 활성화되고 있는 살롱의 의미와 역할을 살펴 본 것이다. 구체적으로 인터넷 자료를 포함한 문헌자료에서의 개인주택 살롱 23사례를 분석하고, 실증적으로 일본 동경지역 아파트 단지 현장의 5사례 분석을 통해 우리나라 고령사회에 적용 가능한 살롱의 의미와 역할을 모색코자 한다. 조사분석 내용은 살롱의 이용대상, 운영방식, 개조여부, 건물 외관특성, 제공시설 및 공간, 활동내용이다. 개인주택 활용 23사례의 살롱 분석결과 공간의 용도는 육아도, 간호인의 휴식, 이야기·모임 등 다목적 용도, 바둑, 마작 공작 등의 취미, 도서관·갤러리로 나타났다. 아파트단지의 5사례 살롱은 이야기, 모임, 식사, 정보제공 등의 다목적 용도로 파악되었다. 일본의 다양한 살롱 사례를 통해 볼 때 지역의 유휴자원을 살롱으로 활용하면 향후 고령사회를 대비하여 노인들의 고립을 통해 야기될 수 있는 고독사와 같은 사회문제를 막을 수 있는 효과가 있다고 판단된다.

        도시지역 자연발생 노인커뮤니티(NORCs) 가능지역의 주거환경특성- 서울 노원구와 강남구 아파트지역을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of the study is to investigate the physical housing environments of Nowon and Gangnam district, and to figure out their characteristics, in order to diagnose the possibility of transformation to a naturally occurred retirement community (NORC). The survey targets were 93 apartment complexes in two districts, and the data were collected from demographic DB and map information. Analyzing data by the SPSS, the main results are 1) the permanent or public rental apartments, that compared to owned apartments, are twice or 3 times aged occupants over 65 ages. Most apartment complexes are more than 20 years old and need to be updated. The rental apartments will be one of the representative types of Korean NORCs. 2) The neighborhood and community facilities are located within 400 m, and large market, traditional market and theater are located out of 500 m. 3) The facilities to healing and health such as nature, parks, and allee are within 500 m or 10 minutes. Also, there are no differences on the access distance of most of facilities in two districts. Therefore, the walkable distance of facilities for the aged are two types; one is easy walk access in 200 m, and other is a little hard access in 400-500 m. 본 연구는 한국의 수도 서울을 대상으로 노인거주비율이 가장 높은 아파트를 대상으로 거주 현황을 파악하여 노인밀집현황을 분석하고, 향후 자연발생 노인커뮤니티(NORCs)의 가능성이 있는 노원구와 강남구 지역에 소재하고 있는 노인밀집 아파트단지의 주거환경 현황을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 통계진흥원의 인구데이터를 활용하여 서울에서 65세 이상 인구 중 아파트 거주비율이 가장 높은 노원구(77.17%)와 강남구(66.90%)를 대상으로 이 지역에 소재한 아파트 93곳 (노원구 43곳 강남구 50곳)을 최종 연구의 조사대상으로 하였다.주요 연구결과와 그에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인밀집지역의 기본적인 주거환경 특성으로는 대부분 20년이 경과한 아파트들로서 평균면적이 노원구의 경우 46㎡-85㎡로 나타났으며, 강남구의 경우 41㎡-145㎡로 나타났다. 노원구, 강남구 모두 영구임대나 공공임대의 경우 분양형 보다 2배-4배 이상의 65세 이상 인구가 거주하고 있는 것으로 나타나 영구임대아파트와 공공임대아파트가 향후 가장 먼저 고령화 가능성이 높은 단지가 될 것으로 예측 가능하다. 둘째, 노인밀집 지역으로 선정된 두 지역의 근린환경 특성차이를 파악한 결과, 근린생활시설의 종류 및 도달하는데 걸리는 시간에는 지역 간 차이가 없는 것으로 타나났다. 그리고 두 지역 모두 대부분의 생활시설들이 100-400m의 노인 보행권내에 소재하고 있었고, 노인이 자주 이용하는 상가, 경로당, 공중목욕탕, 대중교통정류소는 노인보행권 400m 또는 일반보행권 500m의 범위에 있어 노인들의 일상생활에 편리한 환경으로 조성되어있었다.
