The development of industrial technology and information and communications technologies has brought convenience and some comforts to humans. But random development in urban areas has caused destruction of the environment and loss of local identity, thus having negative impact on people's mentality, In the past, urban development focused on constructing plain boxlike apartment buildings without due considerations of urban character or local identity. However, the role of urban design has recently become more important than ever to create unique urban identity and develop a city compatible with the natural environment. Living in the city where buildings and all facilities coexist harmoniously with the surrounding environment makes the people living in the city comfortable and more generous, In order to take full advantage of cityscape colors, it is necessary to first understand the people, nature and history of the city. Analyzing colors of the cityscape in Chuncheon in terms of emotional design is critical to determining the image of this Lake City and enriching the citizens' lives. In this sense, cityscape color schemes of Chuncheon based on emotional design will serve as useful guidelines for establishing the urban identity and improving the quality of life of its inhabitants.

도심공원의 색채계획 연구

It is very important for citizen to have a rest and solve a stress in a modern society as we known. However, most city park in Korea, It is not to easy for us to find Korean traditional environmental color, As we known, we have a -four season. Each season has a different color and appeal different feeling. This research for color planning of City Park is to find Korean style city park base on Korean traditional color. We analyze about the concept of city park and its environmentally natural color. We make a issue of color problem of artificial buildings, and study of natural and seasonal colors to be regionally accepted for our traditional city park.

As the transition to the information society accelerates in pace with the rapid economic growth and the development of science and technology, various cities m different countries all over the world attempt to advertise their unique cultures, and show an enormous interest in the cultures of the other regions. This suggests that the recognition of cultures, especially the special value of the local cultures, is improving in our society. At this point, we should consider the problem of finding the identity of our cities based on the universal values befitting the current of globalization as an important task. Generally, cities are constructed in a comprehensive and artificial environment in which diverse elements of sculpture like architectures, streets and squares are taking spaces. Such city highlights the characteristics of location to gain the unique features of that city. In order to recreate a city with a pleasant and beautiful environment where one could enjoy the moment of glaring at the city landscape, there must be built plans and analysis through which the special local characteristics of the city scenery are taken into account, without failing to serve the important functions of the city. For this reason, this study investigates and analyzes the present conditions of the colors in the existing environments so as to establish the identity of the subject city of this study, Yeongwol-gun, and proposes the suitable environment coloring plan that can be differentiated from other local areas. It also looks at the influences of the visual and sensory features of colors and the color of the environment on humans and society, then confirms the need for this environment chromatic plan. For the chromatic plan, the chromatic environment of Yeongwol-gun was throughly investigated and analyzed to diagnose the problem and made the color palette to prescribe the directions for improvement. From the Metropolitan Area of Yeongwol-gun were selected a few places as the subject under the study and presented with the chromatic plan for the horizontal environment by making the sample that would use the color palette acquired.

Under the circumstance in which basic needs of elderly populationin social relations are not satisfied, issues relating to finances, work, family relations, health, healthcare, education, social harmony, culture, and recreation play a significant role in the cause of anxiety in the elderly population. Particularly, those living with physical illnesses, poverty, isolation, inactivity are the most affected by anxiety and restlessness. This study attempts to understand the psychological problems of this population by analyzing the effects of colors and the existing research results of color psychology. Furthermore, this study examines the effects of colors on food tastes as well as the physiological effects of the five primary colors. The area of color psychology is beneficial for those dealing with frustration as a result of inability to adapt. Specifically, a special attention is given to the emotional and physiological effects of colors on the individuals with the most emotional and social difficulties. It is the intention of the researcher to apply color psychology to the life routines of the elderly at the mental health and prevention medicine levels, hence, improving the quality of life and overall health of the elderly population.

미디어 아트의 조형성에 대한 심리 효과 : 한국 영화의 3D Animation을 중심으로

Due to art's secession from the genre and media's unification, even the mass media and technology have become an essential part of a work. The expressive field of art has become expanded more and more by the advent and development of computers, as a means of the media. In consequence of it, the expressive method of art, the formative field of art, and the factors of art have become more comprehensible and various. The expressive way of films using 3D animation which belongs to the computer art among the media arts compared with the traditional art, has been obtaining more immersion effect of the spectators on the films, using the special technique of the recent Computer Graphics. This paper indicates that the formative factor of media art has been emphasized more by using computer animation in Korean films, one of the computer arts in an art field of media art compared with the traditional art, by examining the formative principle and psychological aspect in the films, which are <Theomarok> and <Welcome to Dongmak-gol>. In addition, 3D animation can induce the psychological reaction easily since it helps the free space not restricted by the camera space to be applicable and cause one's interests and widen its expression by turning an visually impossible expression into a possibility.

교실 색채환경 개선을 위한 연구 : 강원도 중학교 중심으로

Colors are psychologically influential environment, and they play an important part in young students' emotions. Since young people spend most their time at school. Especially classroom colors are very important to students psychologically and emotionally. The preference of a person in charge and financial factors are mostly considered than the educational aspect for choosing colors used for the interior of secondary schools. This study examined the effect of colors on young students, and the importance of classroom colors. Also, it surveyed and analyzed the color preferences, the degree of the students' satisfaction with the present classroom colors, and the desired colors for classrooms of the middle school students in Kangwon-do. According to the result, students preferred the bright colors, and a great number of students were not satisfied with their classroom colors which are mostly colorless. It is also known that the students' negative attitude caused by classroom colors made students feel bored with their school life and those colors made their eyes tired easily. If we try to improve the classroom color environment, we will help students to enhance learning efficiency and to foster their emotions soundly.

한국전통 색채 심리가 문화상품에 미치는 영향

The world is becoming the age of cultural industry by actively exchanging cultures among nations in rapid change. In developing cultural products containing the image of culture, color is an important factor in deciding preference along with design of products. The color of cultural product should be not decided by a person or a company. It is necessary to find out and raise the unique color representing the emotion of nation and advanced cultural level in order to maximize the distinction of product. The current study selected colors presented in color consciousness and culture through psychology of color of Korean people and analyzed the application and problems of Korean traditional color by comparatively analyzing the colors of cultural products currently distributed. In addition, the study recognized that Korean traditional color is not practically used in various ways for cultural products and limited in five colors of blue, red, yellow, white and black, or the image of the white-clad race. Therefore, it aims to suggest that the most effective method of creating unique cultural product is to develop and apply locally traditional colors.

한국민화에 나타난 보자기의 기능과 탈근대적 의미

본 연구는 디자인은 공동체의 실생활에 뿌리박은 삶의 표현이라는 점을 전제로 디자인의 보편성을 넘어 민족공동체성을 부활시켜 디자인을 이해한다. 이를 위하여 한국의 실생활문화에 의해 만들어졌고, 그 생활을 구성한 보자기를 탐구한다. 보자기에 담겨진 한국 공동체의 디자인 철학을 이해하고 보자기의 사유가 어떻게 현대 통섭의 논의에 맞추어 적절하게 이해될 수 있는가를 살핀다. 근대성의 제도와 이념이 우선시 되는 산업사회에서는 자연환경과 인간적 가치가 기계적 규격주의에 의해 소외될 수밖에 없다. 보자기는 고문서와 민화에서 보여 지듯이, 언제, 어디서나 자유롭게 활용 가능한 기능을 지님으로서 유비쿼터스 시대 디자인의 방향을 제시한다. 문헌과 민화가 드러내듯이, 한국보자기의 통섭적 특성은 기능의 차원에서 발휘된다. 가변성과 융통성을 기본으로 한다. 이른 바, 통섭적 제품으로서 실제 쓰임새와 철학을 지니고 있다. 또한 사용자의 차원에서 보더라도 남녀노소, 계층에 가릴 것 없이 폭넓은 통섭적 소통을 이루어 낸다. 특히 재사용성과 활용의 생태적인 특성은 보자기의 환경주의적 특성이라 할 것이다. 보자기는 다기능성과 장식성, 범용성과 생태성을 두루 갖춘 통섭적 가치를 지닌다는 점에서 현대디자인의 미래를 논할 수 있게 한다. The new paradigm of contemporary design can be understood and led by Korean Philosophy of Wrappers. Modern design goes on without any sincerity on the concept of "convergence" or "consilience". I illustrate Korean wrappers' functions for understanding this concept in the theoretical perspective. The design has its history which is in company with the industrial process of Capitalist society. The industrial society has eliminated, little by little our communicative substances of design activities and enriched its effectiveness for the production only. I examine the design convergences through Korean wrappers' functions and philosophies. Approach method is a comparative analyse among wrappers' functions though Korean(Chosun) vernacular paintings. After the analyse, I exposed the communicative nature of Korean wrapper. The wrapper has 3 kinds of communication with the nature: wrapper itself, circumstances and recycling. 1) It has divers functions much more than a modern bag, Multi-functional by nature, the Korean wrapper give us some reflections on design functionality of the future. 2) The Korean wrapper is not only material one and a result of citizens' communication. It produce a common usage for everyone for a society. 3) The Korean wrapper can be reused and go into the recycling system of the nature. The Korean wrapper gives us two important perspectives related each other: realization of multi-functional design which we need in 21th century and constructing the identity between the nature and design itself.
