      • 산란계 사료중 미역과 뱅코마이신이 산란계의 생산성에 미치는 영향

        미역사료는 산란계의 질소 균형을 뱅코마이신 사료보다 유의하게(p<0.01) 높였으나 뇨산태 질소 배설량은 두 사료사이에 유의차가 없었다. 체중당 또는 대사 체중(㎏^(0.75))당 ME 이용성은 미역사료와 뱅코마이신 사료에서 기초사료보다 낮으나, 실험 사료간 유의한 차이는 없었다. 산란계는 미역사료를 가장 많이 섭취(p<0.05)하였고, 산란일량은 미역사료에서 높았으며, 계란 생산성은 실험기간의 경과에 따라 유의하게 감소하였고(p<0.0001), 실험사료 사이에 유의차(p<0.001)가 있었다. 난각 두께는 미역사료가 기초사료보다 높았다. 하우 유니트는 미역사료에서 기초사료보다 높았고, 뱅코마이신 함유사료 급여시 가장 낮았다. 미역 사료를 급여한 닭은, 기초사료에 비해서, 난백 CuZnSOD 활성, 적혈구의 MnSOD 활성과 혈장 과산화물 분해효소의 활성을 높였으나 혈장 과산화물 농도는 감소시켰고 PHA-P 자극에 의한 PBMC 증식도를 증가시켰다. 본 성적은 미역 2.0%사료는 산란계 체내 단백질 합성 증가와 계란 생산성과 품질을 높이며, 이것은 계란과 혈액내 항산화계 조절과 혈액내 면역 세포 활성의 조절과 관계가 있다는 것을 나타내었다. In order to evaluate dietary brown seaweed and vancomycin on the performance, layers(Isa brown) were fed on basal diet and diets containing 2.0% of brown seaweed or 10ppm vancomycin. Brown seaweed diet significantly increased(p<0.01) nitrogen balance in layer, while excretion of uric acid nitrogen and metabolizable energy utilization were not different among diets. Layer consumed more the brown seaweed diet(p<0.05). Egg production were significantly different by diets but reduced(p<0.0001) with the experimental period passed. Layer fed brown seaweed diet gave thicker shell eggs, higher Haugh unit and higher egg white CuZnSOD activity compared with those in basal diet. Also, Brown seaweed diet increased MnSOD activity in erythrocyte cytosol and peroxidase in plasma, but decreased peroxide level in plasma, and increased proliferation of PBMC stimulated with PHA-P. The result indicated that brown seaweed 2.0% diet in layer improved egg quality and performance due to increased protein synthesis which were related to regulation of antioxidant system and immune cell function in blood.

        This study was conducted in order to explore general flora of the Gyounggi-do Province and to clarify the distribution of some specificated taxa of the Korea. Daebu-do Island, Mt. Taewha, Mt. Hwaya, Mt. Gumdan, Mt. Chilhyun and Mt. Chulma among eighth grade-area of the Degree of Green Naturality (DGN) within the boundary of the Gyounggi-do Province were visited to investigate local flora. The number of identified vascular plant species were as follow; Mt. Hwaya: 120 species (99 genera of 67 families), Mt. Teawha: 132 species (103 genera of 56 families), Daebu-do Island: 124 species (103 genera of 50 families), Mt. Chulma: 129 species (99 genera of 67 families), Mt. Gumdan: 121 species (96 genera of 52 families), Mt. Chilyun: 90 species (74 genera of 42 families). The endemic Clematis brachyura Maxim. was found to distribute Daeby-do. It seemed that plantation was occupying large area in forest of the Gyounggi-do Province. Forty two specificated taxa were identified and 3 taxa, 10 taxa, 5 taxa, and 24 taxa were sorted into forth grade, third grade, second grade, and first grade respectively. Mt. Taewha showed the highest record (16 taxa) in the number of specificated taxa, Mt. Hwaya was the next with 13 taxa. Mt, Chulma (12 taxa), Mt. Gumdan (11 taxa), Daebu-do Island (7 taxi), and Mt, Chylma (4 taxi) followed. Mt. Taewa and Mt. Whaya were found to be relatively higher in the score calculated front the specificated taxa distribution, while Daebu-do Island and Mt. Chilyun were lower, that difference was probably due in part to consequences of severe disturbance of human activities. With respect to the consequences of severe disturbance of human activities. With respect to the geographical proximity to the Gangwon Province, Mt. Hwaya showed higher similarity of the species composition to that of the Mt. Jumbong.

      • 급성기 반응중인 육계병아리의 생산성과 영양소 이용성에 미치는 콩 추출물 함유 미역제품 사료의 영향

        콩 추출물 함유 미역제품 2.0 % 사료가 급성기 반응중인 육계병아리의 생산성과 영양소 이용성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 콩 추출물 함유 미역제품 2.0 % 사료는 급성기 반응시 감소된 사료섭취를 증가시키고, 급성기 반응시 뇨산태 질소의 배설량을 감소시켜 질소밸런스를 증가시켰다. 콩 추출물 함유 미역제품 2.0 % 사료는 4주령 체중을 높였다. 본 성적은 단백질 축적량의 증가는 단백질 분해량의 감소에 기인한다는 것을 나타낸다. 그리고 사료 중 콩 추출물 함유 미역제품이 육계 병아리의 단백질 축적량을 증가시켜 생산성을 증가시키며, 급성기 반응시 사료섭취 증가와 영양소 이용성을 증가시킨다는 것을 나타낸다. In order to at day evaluate effect of dietary 2.0 % brown seaweed( Undaria pinnatifida) with bean extract on performance and nutrients utilization during acute phase response, one day-old broiler chicks were fed basal diet and diets substituted with 2.0 % brown seaweed and 2.0 % brown seaweed with bean extract instead of wheat bran in basal diet for 4weeks. Dietary 2.0 % brown seaweed with bean extract enhanced dietary ME value and protein accumulation due to the increased NB and decreased UAN excretion, increased feed intake during acute phase response and had the highest body weight among birds fed experimental diets. The resulted indicated that dietary 2.0 % brown seaweed with bean extract improved performance of broiler chicks due to the increased protein accumulation during acute phase response.

        Mt. Baek-am is located near east Sea of Ul-jin gun of Kyong-sang-buk-do. The winter mean temperature 5℃ was higher than that of the same latitude inland areas. Major vegetation was Pinus densiflora-Quercus mongolica community. It was thought that the forest of Mt. Baek-am was disturbed by anthropogenic activity such as the visitation of hot spring and forest fire. Total vascular plants were recorded as 58 families, 125 genera and 164 species, and these numbers were lower than those of Mt. Jum-bong and Mt. Doo-ta located at the Tae-back Mountains of Kangwon-do province. Two taxa, Lilium cernum Kom. And Vaccinium koreanum Nakai as endemic taxa to Korea were recorded here. Especially the rare and endangered plants registered to the Ministry of Environment in Korea governmet were Lilium cernum Kom. And Wisteria floribunda (Willd.) DC. From this area.

        운동강도에 따른 8주간의 트레이닝 후 흰쥐 골격근내 Apoptosis/Autophagy 관련 인자에 미치는 변화

        The study sought to explore changes in Apoptosis / Autophage related factors in the skeletal muscle of the white rat after eight weeks of training depending on the intensity of the movement. They were classified into four groups (Control(N=10), low-intensity exercise(N=10), middleintensity(N=10) and high-intensity(N=10)). The male SD rats(N=40) ran on the treadmill with the intensity of 9~26m/min(40%~80%VO2max) with the slope of ten degrees. The exercise was performed for 60min/day, 5times/week during 8 weeks. The expression of p-p38MAPK, p53, Beclin1and LC3 in the Gastrocnemius(GM) muscle was determined by Western blotting. In the expression of p-p38 MAPK, p53 significant increase in expression in low-intensity and high-intensity group movements was identified. And significant increase in expression in medium and high intensity groups was identified in the expression of Beclin1 and LC3. In conclusion, these results can control the mechanism of apoptosis through exercise, and it is thought that they can act as a positive influence on cell survival by activating the Java-like action for cell constancy and improvement.

        일회성 운동 및 회복기가 Strepotzotocin으로 유도된 당뇨쥐의 골격근에서 GLUT4와 CaMKⅡ의 발현

        The Aim of this study was to investigate the effect of acute endurace exercise on expression of GLUT4 expression and GLUT4 expression related protein kinases in streptozotocin induced type1 diabete rat skeletal muscle. The male SD rat(N=15) was ran the treadmill running with running intensity(VO₂max 60%) and recovery period 1hour and 4hour after the animal sarificed soleus and extensor digitorum longus muscle. Western blooting was performed for the expression of GLUT4 and CaMKⅡ, p-AMPK, IRS-1. The GLUT4 and CaMKⅡ, IRS-1 expression level was exercise and recovery period signigicantly increased by exercise and recovery period. But p-AMPK expression level was not inreased. As results We derived the conclusion that CaMKⅡ is activate GLUT4 transcription factor in skeletal musclse. The exercise-related increase CaMKⅡ in can raise expression level of GLUT4.

      • Breeding of Azospirllum spp. for Effective Associantion with Paddy Rice : Ⅰ. Selecton and Characterization of Nitrate Reductase Negative Mutants

        Nitrogen-fixing (acetylene-reduction) activity associated with roots of 12 different rice varieties was assayed at heading stage by an in sity chamber acetylene reduction method. The in situ acetylene reduction activity and population of N_2-fixing bacteria obtained on nitrogen-free malate medium for Azospirillum spp. enrichment showed postive correlation. Azospirillum spp. with high nitrogenase activity were isolated from the rice roots. Eleven nitrate reductase negative (nr^-) mutants were selected from chlorate resistant mutants. All mutants retained their nitrogenase activity, though lower than that of parent isolates except SK16CR2, and were nitrate reductase negative and nitrite reductase postive. Nitrogenase activity of nr mutant SK16CR2 has not been suppressed by 10 mM KNO_3, whereas that of wild type havs. This mutant assimilated nitrite but not nitrate as sole nitrogen source for growth. Three different but related evidences, obtained from suppression of nitrogenase activity of nr^- mutant by coinoculatin of nr^- mutant and wild type(nr^-) isolates in nitrate medium, reinitiatin of nitrogenase activity from wildtype isolates under prolonged (4-5 day) incubation in nitrate medium at which nitrite content in the medium dissipated, and inhibition of preformed nitrogenase by nitrite but not nitrate, strongly indicated that nitrite formed from nitrate in the medium by nitrate reductase was the actual inhibitor of nitrogenase from Azospirillum spp.

      • Detection and Quantitation of the Insecticidal Crystalline Toxin of Bacillus theuringiensis by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays

        The insecticidal parasporal crystalline toxins of Bacillus thuringiensis were isolated and purified by Renografin density gradient. The specific antibody raised against lepidopteran or dipteran toxins showed nonhomologous reaction. One-step. indirect, double antibody sandwich(DAS)-enzyme linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA), and dot-ELISA on nitrocellulose membrane(NCM) by a alkaline phosphatase-enzyme conjugate were used and compared to detect and quantitate the crystal toxins. ELISA method was highly sensitive and specific. The optimum detectable concentrations of crystalline toxins were from 10ng/ml to 50ng/ml in indirect and DAS-ELISA. In situ immunoblot assay on NCM was also devised for detection and screening of Cry^+/Cry^- isolates ad clones.
