        COVID-19 대유행으로 인한 대구시민의 신체활동 실천율의 변화

        Objectives: We investigated changes in physical activity(PA) and characteristics during the COVID-19 pandemic in Daegu city. Methods: 14,609 subjects were selected from 2019, 2020 Community health survey in Daegu. We analyzed the relation to changes in physical activity and characteristics such as age, income, occupation. Results: The rate of walking(OR 0.82) and moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA; OR, 0.69) decreased in 2020 compared to 2019, and in particular, in all age, income, and occupation groups. The walking in 2020 decreased a lot in 20s, monthly income of over 4 million won, and office workers. And the rate of MVPA decreased the most in their 40s, monthly income of 3-4 million won, and job of agriculture, forestry and fishery. In the 2020 survey, women's rate of walking and MVPA were lower than that of men. Compared to 20s, the rate of walking was lower in 40s. MVPA rate was significantly lower than in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and over 70s than in 20s. The rate of MVPA was higher in all the groups with monthly income over 2 million won compared to less than 2 million won. The rate of walking in others was lower than that of professional administrative. Conclusions: The prolonged reduction in physical activity due to COVID-19 may increase the burden of disease on infectious and chronic diseases. Therefore, a public health intervention is essential to increase PA for the group with a high decrease in PA and then interventions are needed involving the entire population. 연구목적: COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 대규모 발생을 보인 대구시에 거주하는 시민의 신체활동의 변화와 그 특성을 살펴보았다. 연구방법: 2019년, 2020년 대구시 지역사회건강조사자료 14,609건을 사용하여, 신체활동의 변화정도를 확인하고 연령, 소득, 직업과 같은 특성과의 관련성을 분석하였다. 주요결과: 2019년에 비해 2020년도의 걷기, 중등도, 격렬한, 중등도 이상 신체활동이 모두 감소하였고, 특히 모든 연령층, 모든 소득층, 모든 직업군에서 신체활동이 감소하였다. 걷기 실천율은 20대, 월 소득 400만원 이상, 사무직에서 많이 감소하였으며, 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율은 40대, 월 소득 300-400만원, 농림어업직에서 가장 많이 감소하였다. 2019년과 비교하여 2020년도의 걷기실천율의 오즈비가 0.82배, 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율의 오즈비가 0.69배로 유의하게 낮아진 것으로 나타났다. 2020년 조사대상에서는 남성에 비해 여성의 걷기 실천율, 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율이 낮았고, 19-20세 비해 40대는 걷기 실천율이 낮았고, 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율은 30대, 40대, 50대, 70세 이상에서 모두 유의하게 낮았다. 소득에서는 소득이 낮은 군에 비해 소득이 높은 군에서 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율이 높았고, 직업에서는 전문행정직에 비해 기타가 걷기 실천율이 낮았다. 결론: 장기화되고 있는 COVID-19으로 인해 신체활동의 감소도 지속되어 감염성 질환 및 만성질환에 미치는 질병부담이 증가할 수 있으므로, 신체활동 감소가 큰 집단군을 우선순위로 하면서, 인구집단 전체를 대상으로 한 신체활동을 증가시키기 위한 공중보건학적 개입이 반드시 필요하다.

        간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 돌봄효능감 및 윤리적 민감성이 돌봄행위에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: It is important for nursing students to properly establish the caring behaviors awareness in order to become a competent and professional nurse in the future. This study was to examine the effects of nursing professionalism, caring efficacy, and ethical sensitivity on caring behaviors in nursing students. Methods: The subjects of this study were total 205 nursing students in universities located in D city. Data were collected from September 2 to 30 in 2019 by using self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using statistical package the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The mean score of ethical sensitivity was 4.40 ± 0.42, caring efficacy was 3.69 ± 0.33, nursing professionalism was 3.57 ± 0.40, and caring behaviors was 4.04 ± 0.49. There were significant differences in biomedical ethics awareness by grade and satisfaction of nursing major. The influencing factors on caring behaviors in nursing students were ethical sensitivity (β= 0.44 p< 0.001), nursing professionalism (β= 0.18, p= 0.005), grade (β= 0.18, p= 0.006), and caring efficacy (β= 0.16 p= 0.006) which explained 31.1% of the variance. Conclusions: These results highlight the importance of developing caring behaviors in nursing students and the need to develop intervention programs that can enhance their nursing professionalism, caring efficacy, and ethical sensitivity should be considered.

        COVID-19와 대구시민의 중등도 이상 신체활동 실천율

        Objectives: Daegu Metropolitan City was a region that experienced the pandemic in the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak, and the rate of physical activity practice decreased significantly compared to other regions in 2020. Three years later, in 2022, when social distancing was lifted, although the rate of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) in other cities recovered to the pre-COVID-19 levels, Daegu’s recovery was the lowest among special and metropolitan cities. Methods: We investigated to the characteristics of the group whose practice rate of moderate to high physical activity has not recovered to its pre-COVID level by changes in the practice rate of MVPA from 2019 to 2022 according to sociodemographic characteristics, by using data from the Daegu City Community Health Survey. Results: In difference (%p) between years, the rate of practicing MVPA in those who had a high rate of that before COVID-19 decreased significantly. In 2019, before the outbreak of COVID-19, the groups with the lowest rates of MVPA were women, over 70 years old, low-income, other occupations (students, housewives, unemployed), hypertension, and diabetes. In increase/decrease rate, the groups that decreased the most in 2020 were women, over 70 years old, low-income, agriculture · forestry · fisheries, hypertension, and diabetes. The groups with the lowest recovery in 2022 were women, 60s, low-income, agriculture · forestry · fisheries, hypertension, and diabetes. Conclusions: The group whose MVPA was most vulnerable in 2019 decreased the most in 2020, and the group that decreased the most significantly was found to be the group with the lowest recovery in 2022. The gap between the vulnerable and privileged groups has widened as the former has become more vulnerable due to the pandemic. Therefore, it is crucial for the local government to intervene for vulnerable groups because the groups that in socioeconomic may be more affected by reduced physical activity.

      • 고실업시대의 여대생 취업 : 취업에 대한 의식과 준비실태

        The female college graduates has traditionally been one of the most unprevileged groups in terms of employment, despite of their strong occupational aspiration. Due to the extensive restructuring movement and the flexible labor market policies for past 2 years since 1997 economic crisis, the female employment condition has severely been worsed. Under the circumstances, this paper tries to grasp the followings : 1)whether the current employment conditions have discouraged female college graduates' job motivation: 2)how they recognize the current labor market situations and the prospect of their employment opportunities: 3)what they prepare to enhance their employability: and finally 4)what they ask for special measures toward policy makers and university managers. The sample survey was conducted for 520 senior female college students at 13 universities located in Seoul and capital areas. Holding a very positive value towards women's market work and a strong desire for self-realization, the second-thirds of a the total respondents are eager for getting jobs after the graduation in spite of the aggravation of employment situation. The majoity of students is found to hold a highly optimistic outlook which is not very realistic. The absolute majority of the students perceive that the sexual discrimination does exist in current labor market, and it is a major obstacle to women's employment and career development. They attribute the existing discrimination mainly to structural, institutional factors rather than individual factors. Therefore they strongly ask government and policy makers for the special policy and law measures to alleviate employment discrimination against female, in addition to women's effort for enhancing the employabilities by themselves. In order to increase the employment opportunities for women with high-education, the majority of the student strongly agree to the introduction of affirmative action on a temporary basis, namely "female employment quota system". Finally many students ask university faculties and managers for their special concern and practical supports in terms of graduates employment. Specifically they require the strengthening "job information office" within the university by increasing staffs with high specialty, and by prompt providing information, furthmore by connecting them to actual employers.

      • 여성실업의 현황과 실업대책의 방향

        In revealing the recent trend of women's employment and the deficiency of gender-issue in government's unemployment policy, this paper searches the appropriate policy measures for the female unemployed and for maintaining female workers in the labor market. Sudden economic crisis since the end of 1997 aroused the necessity of downsizing and labor market flexibllity. In the process of downsizing, female workers are being major tarket. women workers are either being fired with first prioity, or their employment status is being degraded to unstable temporary position. Most of the employment statitics evidently shows that female workers are the top and major victim of the economic crisis and the downsizing. Although there are clear sexual differences in unempolyment pattern between men and women workers, various policy measures undermine, if not ignore, the sexual differences. The policy measures which reflect the peculiarities of female unemployed must be separately formulated. Also the unemployment statistics should be improved in the way of accurately relects the actual state by not excluding discouraged workers, mainly consisted of female unemployed. More specifically, in order to keep female workers from first-firing, supervising facilities against the illegal discriminating practice, e.g., EEOC of USA, must be established. The maternity cost of female workers now fully responsible to employers should be socially shared. The special measures for protecting the unemployed female-head is urgent. The vocational training for increasing female workers' employability must be diversified and strengthened. Finally, the affirmative action for female workers should be implemented in public sector.
