CR-M-SpanBERT: Multiple embedding-based DNN coreference resolution using self-attention SpanBERT

This study introduces CR-M-SpanBERT, a coreference resolution (CR) model that utilizes multiple embedding-based span bidirectional encoder representations from transformers, for antecedent recognition in natural language (NL) text. Information extraction studies aimed to extract knowledge from NL text autonomously and cost-effectively. However, the extracted information may not represent knowledge accurately owing to the presence of ambiguous entities. Therefore, we propose a CR model that identifies mentions referring to the same entity in NL text. In the case of CR, it is necessary to understand both the syntax and semantics of the NL text simultaneously. Therefore, multiple embeddings are generated for CR, which can include syntactic and semantic information for each word. We evaluate the effectiveness of CRM-SpanBERT by comparing it to a model that uses SpanBERT as the language model in CR studies. The results demonstrate that our proposed deep neural network model achieves high-recognition accuracy for extracting antecedents from NL text. Additionally, it requires fewer epochs to achieve an average F1 accuracy greater than 75% compared with the conventional SpanBERT approach.

Victim or Villain? -The Racist and Homoerotic Corruption of the Anti-Hero, Iago in Othello

William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice consists of numerous dualities that are more than meets the eye. However, among these stands the duality of Iago. To Othello and his soldiers, Iago presents himself as honest and lovable, but to the audience, beneath the theatrics, we see him for what he truly is. In the annals of literary history and villainy, Iago is among the most prominent characters. However, like the fissiparous notions of black and white or good and evil, Iago is a multidimensional character who goes beyond common labels, throwing him on the precipice of the precarious line that separates good from evil. He is, in other words, a perversion of “Honest Iago” driven to nefarious menace by his repressed homoerotic love and a racist society. In an era when strict traditional and cultural ideals were upheld, there was no place for a scandalous homoerotic love between Iago and Othello. Examining the text, moments of Iago’s brilliant and devilish scheme are seen to carry undertones of the racist society he was raised in, which perverts his repressed homoerotic love for Othello. In this paper, I lay a foundation by examining the rigid notions of society, particularly regarding race and love, to explore Iago’s fall. Ultimately, this paper seeks to examine the interplay between racism and homoeroticism that corrupt Iago and his love for Othello. They distort Iago’s romantic, homoerotic love toward Othello into his own corrupted jealousy and force him into the role of an epitomic Machiavellian villain or anti-hero, fated, destined on a path to hatred and destruction. 윌리엄 셰익스피어의 「오셀로」는 눈에 보이는 것 이상의 많은 이중성으로 구성되어 있다. 무엇보다 다층적인 성격을 가지고 있는 이아고의 이중성이 가장 두드러진다. 오셀로와 병사들에게 정직하고 사랑스러운 모습을 보이지만, 관객들은 연출로 가려진 그의 진짜 모습을 알 수 있다. 악당을 다루는 문학 장르와 문학사를 통틀어서 이아고는 최고의 악인 중 한 명이다. 그러나 흑/백 또는 선/악이라는 자기 분열적 개념처럼, 이아고는 선과 악을 나누는 경계선의 끝자락에 위태롭게 서 있는 위험한 인물이다. 요컨대 반 영웅인 것이다. 이아고는 억압된 동성애적 사랑과 인종 차별주의 사회에 의해 악당이 될 수밖에 없었던 '정직한 이아고'의 변형된 모습이다. 인종 차별과 계층 간의 관계가 정형화되었고 엄격한 전통적, 문화적 이상이 지켜졌던 시대에, 이아고의 오셀로에 대한 수치스러운 동성애적 사랑은 설 자리가 없다. 커튼이 올라 연극이 시작되기 전에 그리고 이아고가 누구였든지 간에, 오셀로 에 등장하는 이아고는 이미 정직한 사람이 아니다. 이아고의 정직함과 동지애는 사회적인 편견과 차별 때문에 이아고를 악의 길로 들어서게 하고 경멸할 정도로 타락시키는 것이다. 자세히 들여다보면, 이아고의 영리하고 악마 같은 계략의 순간들은 오셀로에 대한 동성애적 사랑을 억압하고 왜곡시키는 인종차별주의 사회의 감춰진 면을 보여준다. 이 논문은 이아고의 몰락을 연구하려고 한다. 특히 인종과 사랑에 관한 사회의 경직된 관습과 정형화된 사고의 해로운 영향력를 고찰하려고 한다. 궁극적으로, 이 논문은 이아고와 그의 오셀로에 대한 사랑을 마키아벨리적인 악당, 또는 반영웅으로 타락시키는 인종차별주의와 동성애적인 사랑 간의 역동성을 구체적으로 들여다볼 것이다. 이아고는 모든 교묘한 책략과 음모를 사용하게 됨으로써 자기 동질적이고 백인 중심 사회의 폭력을 극복하지 못하는 꼭두각시로 끝나게 된다. 요컨대 이아고는 오셀로에 대한 로맨틱하고 동성애적인 사랑을 자신의 질투로 타락시키고 자신을 증오와 파괴를 향해 나아가는 전형적인 반영웅으로 변화시키게 되는것이다.

본 논문에서는 굽은 비선형 도파로를 이용한 솔리톤 결합기의 동작 특성에 대해 알아 보았다. 이 굽은형 솔리톤 결합기는 기존의 솔리톤 결합기와 마찬가지로, 비선형 도파로에서의 솔리톤 방출의 문턱값 효과로 인해 매우 날카로운 스위칭 특성을 갖는다. 또한 이 결랍기의 굽은 구조는 솔리톤 방출을 위해 요구되는 최소 입력 파워의 문턱값을 낮추어 준다. 굽은형 솔리톤 결합기를 통한 파의 전송을 보다 정확하고 실제적으로 수치 해석하기 위해 비선형성의 포화 효과와 매질에서의 손실을 고려하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 포화 효과와 손실을 고려하는 것이 비선형 도파로 소자의 해석과 설계에 있어서 매우 중요하다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 굽은 구조의 적용은 포화 효과와 손실을 고려했을 때, 낮은 문턱값 파워를 가지고 공간 솔리톤을 방출시키는데 유용하다. In this paper, we studied the characteristics of a soliton coupler using a bent nonlinear waveguide. The bent soliton coupler has very ,harp switching characteristic like the conventional soliton coupler due to the threshold effect of soliton emi,sion from the nonlinear waveguide. By using the bent structure, we can reduce the threshold power for the soliton emission. We consider the saturation effect of nonlinearity and the loss in the medium for more accurate and practical numerical analysis in wave propagation through the bent soliton coupler. The simulation results show that the consideration of the saturation effect and the ]os~ may be very important in the analyses and design of the nonlinear waveguide devices. The bent structure is useful for the emission of the spatial soliton with the low threshold power, when we consider the saturation and the loss effect. ffect.

Traditionally Korean Ginseng has been appraised as the best quality as a medicine for health. However the countries which drive export their other kind of Ginseng to the world becomes serious competitative factors in Ginseng Industry. That's why now it is needed to develop the Korean Ginseng industry competitiveness in exporting to the world. According to the statistics Korea's RCAx is very stable, other countries are fluctuated. But their competitiveness is low price even though their low quality. Otherwise Korean Ginseng export cannot have the barrier into the world market. From 2001 FTA with Chille made the beginning of the agribusiness export to the world. Especially along with the Hallal of the cultural side, this could be improved year by year. Here we can find very specific strategy in Korean Gingseng export and now, we are analysing the new strategy in this hard export situation. If there would be new strategy based upon Hallal and new market into middle east countries will bring new strategies in the Gingseng industry. In this thesis how to make strong in Ginseng export strategy and how to improve the export competitiveness is the main point of research.
