        Tidal flat area in the South of Kanghwa Island were classified sediment trpes and area of tidal flat using Landsat-5 images. This classification method was used for groping the tidal flat and was analyzed correctly various kinds of sediment faces through satellite images. This work was performed in referencing ground truth data of sediment faces which was investigated in the field. With this data, tidal flat area in the south of Kanghwa island was classified by Landsat-5 image of 1997's using the most suitable classification method.

        This paper illustrates some practical Geographic Information System (GIS) applications for operational system on marine fish and coastal environment site. The database of MGIS(Marine Geographic Information System) were developed using connection structure between satellite remote sensing, filed survey data and geographical information system. MGIS database derived from satellite remote sensing and in-situ data were considered by new conception with data producing on real time basis. MGIS for the environment management related to the fisheries farm, coastal water and offshore, and red tide in Korean waters were suggested.

      • GIS를 이용한 경북 봉화군 운곡천 수달(Lutra lutra Linnaeus, 1758)의 서식지 분석

        본 연구는 2002년 10월부터 2003년 9월까지 경상북도 봉화군 운곡천을 대상으로 수달의 배설물(Spraint) 및 배설지(Sprainting site)등의 흔적조사를 통해 얻은 GPS좌표를 중심으로 하여 국립지리원에서 발행한 1/25000 수치지도 및 현장조사에서 얻은 정보를 ESRI사의 Arcview를 통하여 수달의 최적 서식지분석에 이용하였다. 분석 결과 수달의 서식지 이용에는 먹이자원인 어류의 종다양도와 풍부도가 깊은 연관을 맺고 있으며 식생 등의 서식환경이 밀접한 연관을 맺고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 밀집된 주거지 등의 인간의 간섭은 수달의 서식지 이용에 교란요인으로 작용한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결국 수달의 이주(Trans-location)등 보전 및 복원을 위한 시도에서 적합 서식지를 선정하기 위해서는 인간의 간섭으로부터 배제와 풍부한 어족자원, 좋은 식생을 두루 갖춘 서식지를 찾아내는 것이 선행되어야 함을 시사한다. This Study was Analysis about Habitat of Eurasian otter Lutra lutra L. In October 2002 during September 2003, Otter Spraints and Sprainting site were searched in river Unkog of North-Kyongsang Province for taking the GPS coordinates. For Analysis of habitat, This data were used by Arcview ver. 3.2 with 1/25000 Topology Map and Other Field data. The result of Habitat Analysis meant that Habitat use was strongly related to Fish diversity and richness also vegetation and cover were connected with otter habitat. In other hand, The Human interferences including dense structures like House acted as factor of disturbance. This study suggest that The preceding about Suitable habitat having free of Human disturbance, abundant fish and good vegetation is essential In Trial for Conservation or Recovery of Otter like Trans-location.

        보로노이 기법과 밀도분석을 활용한 미세먼지 측정소 공간적 위치 문제 연구

        In the Seoul Metropolitan City, the PM(pariculate matter) application used by the citizens provides the PM concentration of the nearest monitoring stations located on the PM monitoring stations. Currently, the selecting method of the PM monitoring network considered by the Ministry of Environment is based on considering the monitoring station distribution and population density only. In this study, we analyzed the distance between PM monitoring station and the administrative center point in addition to the above considerations. The number of test sites was verified and the range of coverage of each monitoring stations was indicated by using the Voronoi algorithm and hexagon grid. The spatial position problem of the PM monitoring station was suggested by spatial data analysis. The variables of spatial data analysis are single-family houses, apartments, 1st class neighborhood, 2nd class neighborhood, garbage disposal plant, hazardous material disposal facility, factory, and the density map. The analysis result of the selection criterion considering the additional variables for new PM monitoring stations was presented, in addition to the selection criteria provided by the Ministry of Environment. 서울시에서 시민들이 사용하는 미세먼지 앱은 위치기반으로 자신의 위치에서 가장 가까운 측정소의 미세먼지 농도를 제공받는다. 현재 환경부에서 고려하는 미세먼지 측정망 선정 방법은 측정소의 분포 및 인구밀도를 고려한 방식과 지도상의 표현방식이 주 결정방법이나 인위적인 변수 및 다른 환경요인을 고려하지 않는다. 본 연구에서는 미세먼지 측정소와 행정동의 대표성을 보여주는 행정동 중심점을 활용하여 측정소와 동중심의 거리에 대해 분석하였으며, 측정값을 제공하는 측정소의 개수를 확인하였다. 또한 보로노이 알고리즘과 헥사곤 격자를 활용하여 각 측정소의 제공범위를 면적으로 나타내며 현 측정소의 공간적인 위치의 문제점을 지적하였다. 공간분석을 위한 환경변수는 단독주택, 공동주택, 제1종 근린생활권, 제2종 근린생활권, 쓰레기처리장, 위험물처리시설, 공장이며 분석결과로 만들어진 신규 측정소 위치는 기존의 환경부에서 제공하는 선정기준이 아닌 추가적인 변수를 고려한 선정기준을 제시하였다.

      • GOCI 자료에 의한 남해 적조발생지 분석

        The outbreaks of red tide were sporadic in the South Sea until 1994, but now have become frequent and widespread in whole coastal waters of the South Sea and West Sea of Korea. For detection of red tide area, many kinds of techniques such as remote sensing, GIS and modelling have been applied. However, the most red tide monitoring methods was not yet to introduced. The purpose of this paper is to develop red tide monitoring techniques for detection of red tide area with biological parameters using GOCI data. This research carried out about the optical properties, total suspended sediment(TSS), chlorophyll-a, CDOM which is collected from Nam-Hae for basic research of red tide remote sensing technique. The outbreaks of red tide area were detected to TSS, chlorophyll-a, CDOM which had about 10 times differences between parameters, and the shape of range of parameters have significant difference between red tide area.       • 갯벌의 수치지도 작성을 위한 위성영상 분석

        The objective of this study is to find the optimum methodology to extract the waterline for digital mapping of tidal flat using multi-temporal remotely sensed data. The Hampyung bay in province of Chunlanam-do was a study area because there is a transition tract covered with shallow water due to the continuous tidal movement. Then near infra red wavelength of Landsat TM data was analysed on spectral characteristics. Tasseled cap method was used to extract three major features such as sea-water, transition zone and exposed tidal flat to build a digital water line of the tidal flat on the basis of 20 satellite images acquired from 1987 to 2000. The proposed method for digital mapping of tidal flat at this study were applied to 20 satellite images and the extracted digital map were compared with reference data.

        We report four genera and species, Aoplus rufulus(Uchida, 1925), Bystra kusukusensis(Uchida, 1929), Setan-ta apicalis(Uchida, 1926), and Zanthojoppa speciosa(Uchida, 1926), of the subfamily Ichneumoninae for thefirst time in Korea. Photographs and descriptions are provided to aid their identification.

        The purpose of this study was to assessment the spatial statistic problems of MODIS data process. The MODIS SST(sea surface temperature) data for analysis of global warming was obtained from satellite image of Aqua NASA. The SST data around the Korean ocean and chlorophyll data were composited with monthly data. The monthly composited data in 2008 were compared by their digital maps and satellite images.         서울시 미세먼지 관측망 위치 적정성 평가를 위한 공간정보 활용방안

        Recently, PM10 is becoming a main issue in Korea because it causes a variety of diseases, such as respiratory and ophthalmologic diseases. This research studied to spatial information application cases for evaluating the feasibility of the location for PM10 observation stations utilizing Geogrphic Information System(GIS) spatial analysis. The spatial Information application cases for optimal location assessment were investigated to properly manage PM10 observation stations which are closely related with public spatial data and health care. There are 31 PM10 observation stations in Seoul city and the observed PM10 data at these stations were utilized to understand the overall assessment of PM10 stations to properly manage using interpolation methods. The estimated PM10 using Inverse Distance Weighted(IDW) and Kriging techniques and the map of PM10 concentrations of monitoring stations in Seoul city were compared with public spatial data such as precipitation, floating population, elementary school location. On the basis of yearly, seasonal and daily PM10 concentrations were used to evaluate the feasibility analysis and the location of current PM10 monitoring stations. The estimated PM10 concentrations were compared with floating population and calculated 2015 PM10 distribution data using zonal statistical methods. The national spatial data could be used to analyze the PM10 pollution distribution and additional determination of PM10 monitoring sites. It is further suggested that the spatial evaluation of national spatial data can be used to determine new location of PM10 monitoring stations. 최근 미세먼지는 국내에서 중요한 사안으로 되어가고 있다. 왜냐하면 미세먼지는 호흡기 질환, 안과 질환과 같은 수많은 질병을 불러일으키기 때문이다. 본 연구는 GIS 공간분석 기술을 이용하여 PM10 관측소의 위치에 대한 적정성을 평가하기 위하여 공간정보의 활용 사례를 제시하였다. 미세먼지 측정소 최적 위치를 평가하기 위한 공간정보 활용사례는 국가 공간자료와 건강위해성과 밀접하게 관련있는 PM10 측정자료의 최적 위치와 함께 조사되었다. 서울시에는 31개 관측소가 있으며, 이들 측정소에서 관측된 PM10 자료를 가지고 추정된 PM10 농도는 공간보간기법을 적용하여 적정한 측정소 위치평가기법을 제시하는데 적용하였다. 서울시에서 PM10 측정망의 농도지도와 IDW와 크리깅 방법으로 추정된 농도는 강우량, 유동인구, 초등학교 위치정보와 같은 국가공간정보와 비교하였다. 일평균, 계절평균, 연평균 등의 PM10 농도는 현재의 PM10 측정소 위치와 위치적정성을 분석하는데 사용하였다. PM10농도는 2015년 유동인구와 지역 통계분석법에 적용된 계산된 PM10 분포와 비교하였다. 국가공간데이터는 PM10 오염분포와 부가적인 PM10 모니터링 사이트를 분석하는데 적용 가능하였다. 본 연구의 향후 연구과제는 PM10 모니터링 측정소의 새로운 위치를 선정하는데 사용된 국가공간정보의 활용성을 제안하는데 있다.
