        6차산업화를 활용한 지방 중소도시 활성화 방안 연구

        Small and Medium Sized City(SMSC) in Korea almost includes rural areas and is difficult to vitalize owing to fragmentary manufacturing business. 6th industrialization can contribute to the activation of community and variety of industrial structure. The purpose of this study is to suggest activation plan of 6th industrialization to promote the development of local small and medium cities through the condition analysis of the 6th industrialization 85 unit’s involved companies in Gyeongnam province. Methods of analysis are a factor analysis of 20’s indicators, through the success factors of advanced cases in Japan and Korea, t-test and ANOVA to the company 4types of characters. The main findings are that first, the 6th industrialization involved companies have the most important factor of resource(local residents, produce, culture and facilities) utilization in each area, followed by appropriateness of business, corporate stability, and enterprise capabilities. Second, the companies in the SMSC have somewhat higher competitiveness than the companies in the rural areas. Third, the companies of corporate-driven or received the relevant training, preparation have a high capacity for the 6th industrialization. Consequently, Local governments of the SMSC, the rural areas are discovering the resources with local-regional resources, should establish a long-medium term plan to be utilized properly, and should involve the citizens, because the SMSC include the rural areas. Finally, the Government, the provinces, and the Local Governments of Korea need to adopt system of the planners and coordinators for the companies, contribute to the local economy and community activation.

        농어촌지역 1인 가구 주택공급 방향 연구

        국내 인구는 경제적 성장과 더불어 지속적으로 증가하였으나 1인 가구는 저출산 및 고령화 등 인구의 사회적, 경제적 변화로 인해 급속히 증가하고 있다. 특히 농어촌지역에서의 1인 가구 증가는 전국 평균 보다 매우 높게 상승하고 있으며 가구 구성원은 도시와 달리 대부분 노령인구로 구성되어 있고 열악한 주거환경에서 거주하고 있다. 정부에서는 1인 가구의 지속적 증가에 따라 다양한 1인 가구 주택공급에 노력하고 있으나 이들 주택공급이 대부분 도시 주민을 대상으로 하고 있어 농어촌지역에 거주하는 1인 가구 주민들의 수요를 충족시킬 있는 주택공급 방향으로는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 1인 가구가 급격히 증가하고 있는 농어촌지역을 대상으로 농어촌 지역의 사회적 경제적 물리적 특성과 1인 가구 주민의 거주 특성을 분석하여 농어촌지역에 적합한 1인 가구 주택공급 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구결과 농어촌지역의 1인 가구 주택공급은 산업형 농어촌지역과 전통형 농어촌지역을 구분하여 차별적인 정책이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 산업형 농어촌지역은 사업체 및 제조업체가 밀집된 지역을 중심으로 계층 혼합형 주거단지 공급이 필요하며 전통형 농어촌지역에서는 1인 가구의 주택공급 확대 보다는 이들 가구원들의 공동 거주를 통해 1인 가구원들의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 것이 필요하다. One-person household is increasing by the growth of unemployment, divorce, aging in Korea. In particular, One-person households have rapidly increased around Farming & Fishing Regions. In this regard, this research aims to suggest the directions of housing supply for one-person households suitable for Farming & Fishing Regions by investigating the characteristics of one-person households in the social, economic, and physical aspects. This study found out that one-person households could be divided into two groups; one group lived in industrialized Farming & Fishing Regions and the other group lived in traditional Farming & Fishing Regions. For one-person households living in industrialized Farming & Fishing Regions, it is necessary to provide age-mixed residential sites where companies and manufacturers are condensed. On the other hand, for the one-person households living in traditional Farming & Fishing Regions, it in necessary to provide multi-person housing units for increasing the quality of life ofne-person households.

      • 경기도 시가지확산에 따른 공간적 영향 연구

        Inordinate or rampant sprawls in metropolitan area such as urban, suburban, exurban or rural areas have been a key factor against a smart management of metropolitan developments in the capital region in Korea. Sprawl impacts have been evaluated on the basis of a sprawl indicator that was used as dependant variables in statistical model, whose independent variables are as urban core distance, metropolitan areas, trip modes. Resident's health in four metropolitan areas have also been evaluated on the basis of BMI that is an independent variable in the statistical model with independent variables such as age, sex, urban core distance, metropolitan areas such as urban core and centers, exurbia, etc. Further, levels of service(LOS) to public facilities have been analysed in order to evaluate the quality of resident satisfactions in their neighborhood. This study has found that sprawls increased as metropolitan areas are far from urban core, that highest sprawls took place in exurban area, that BMI as factor of resident health got worse as sprawls increased. Residents assessed amenity factor and socialization factors as serious issues that have to be ameliorated by additional urban management policies such as physical land use plans or software socialization programs.

      • 경기도 시가지확산 지표와 도시계획 시사점 연구

        There have been rampant developments taking place not only in the Capital region including the Gyeonggi province but also in the country. Although it is apparent that the disorderly built developments are the result of a developer's maximizing profits between land uses and developments in urban or outskirt areas, there has not been any research efforts on discussing side-effects of disorderly located developments. This study has aimed at analyzing sprawl expansions of disorderly built developments, applying conventional sprawl indicators to the local cities and counties, analyzing problems in using conventional sprawl indicators, devising an alternative sprawl indicator for replacing the conventional indicators, and suggesting some guidelines for managing smart growth in cities and counties. This study has found that the sprawls of disorderly located developments have been taking place in the outskirt area of the capital region, and that a positive management tool are needed for containing disorderly built developments. Through an expert survey method, this research also confirmed that most of academic researchers and development practitioners in a government sector recognized disorderly located developments, and recommended growth management tools such as a rural line and urban growth boundary(UGB) for containing rampant developments. It is difficult for urban planners to pinpoint the area of sprawl expansion because conventional sprawl indicators consisting of a population and the density of population fail to pinpoint sprawling areas under the geographical levels of local cities or counties. Therefore, in this study, a micro-indicator of sprawls that was developed by means of using a spatial statistical method will be very useful in pinpointing more detailed areas in process of sprawl expansion in urban and rural lands. The micro-indicator for measuring sprawl expansion will contribute to solve geographical limits, that is no capability to pinpoint geographical small areas of sprawl expansion, resulting from applying conventional indicators of sprawl expansion.
