The purpose of this paper is to provide baseline data that can be used for inclusion in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of Korea's Hanji culture and to suggest directions for its implementation. To this end, Xuan paper and Washi, which were registered on the Representative List of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2009 and 2014, were investigated. The contents of the investigation include the origin, Historicity, raw materials, and manufacturing process of paper making. In addition, prior research was conducted through interviews and field visits. In addition, the origin and historicity of Hanji was verified through ancient documents and relics. And it has been investigated that traditional Hanji’s culture is an intangible cultural heritage that has been maintained, protected, inherited and developed. Finally, the development of traditional Hanji’s culture and the direction to be taken were presented. Therefore, it is expected that this study can be used as a research material for the inclusion of Hanji as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
육성 시뮬레이션 게임을 활용한 교육용 가상세계의 콘텐츠 연구

디지털 매체의 발달로 오늘날의 교육환경도 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 디지털 매체의 상호작용성을 바탕으로, 수동적 학습자에서 능동적 학습자로의 변화는 기존의 교육 프로세스와 많은 차이를 만들었다. 또한 교육적인 내용을 전달하는 과정에서 학습자들의 지속적인 관심을 유지시키기 위해 오락적 요소를 첨가하여 교육 효과를 증대시키는 콘텐츠들이 개발되기 시작하였다. 1980년대 중반 미국의 보이저, 에드마그, 브러더번드 같은 소프트웨어에서 시작된 디지털 기반의 에듀테인먼트는 90년대 초부터 교육용 소프트웨어 개발 뿐 아니라 출판, 영화, 애니메이션 등 다양한 매체들이 참여하게 되었다. 특히 인터넷의 발달과 더불어 캐릭터 육성, 홈페이지 꾸미기 등 오프라인에서는 구현할 수 없는 가상세계를 기반으로 하는 콘텐츠들이 활발히 개발되기 시작했던 것이다.

연백이란 탄산수산화 연 2PbCO<sub>3</sub>ㆍPb(OH)<sub>2</sub>의 속칭이며 오래전부터 백색 안료로서 사용되었다. 유독, 가장 오래전부터 사용되고 있는 밑바닥 칠 백색 안료지만 다른 백색 안료에 비하여 점차 사용 범위가 줄어들고 있다. 물에는 녹지 않지만 산에 녹아 이산화탄소를 발생한다. 알칼리에도 녹고 황화수소를 만나면 검게 변하는 것이 결점이다. Pb+S=PbS 반응으로 검게 변하는 안료위에 CaCO<sub>3</sub>가 주성분인 호분이라는 백색 안료를 칠하게 되면 검게 변하는 반응을 줄일 수 있다고 한다. 이에 대한 연구로 여러 가지 조건의 시료를 SO<sub>2</sub> 50ppm 환경에서 120시간 가열한 후 물리적, 광학적, 강도적 분석을 하여 연백을 사용한 주요 회화 문화재의 보존 수복에 도움을 주는 데이터베이스를 제공하고자 한다.

Korea International Cooperation Agency - Yonsei scholarship program (KYSP) was introduced in 2011 with the main objective of creating leaders for community that can bring change in developing countries. This paper is to evaluate KYSP mainly by employing Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Relative weights on multiple criteria applied to KYSP reveal both strengths and weaknesses of the program. KYSP is achieving its aim of grooming leaders since a majority of the respondents were satisfied with most of the measured indicators, especially for trainers’ competence and excellent educational environment. Nonetheless, it still needs improvement in terms of course content and program objectives. The most important finding of this study suggests that KYSP should focus on capacity building in the context of developing countries with which the course contents should be congruent. Along with such pedagogical improvement, more detailed concern for pupils in foreign situations would be an important hygiene factor for the further success of KYSP.

Most conservation papers used for the management of domestic records are mainly imported products, which are made of chemical, mechanical, and recycled pulps with various types of organic and inorganic additives. In this study, different colors as per their importance and conservation period were applied to machine-made Hanji papers used for the long-term storage of the public records. In addition, the stabilities of the different colors from the selected pigments for conservation paper products were analyzed. Additionally, the optimal conditions of adding pigments and additives on colored Hanji paper made from Dak pulp (80%) and SwBKP (20%) for use in conservation were examined. As a result, yellow, blue, white and black pigments showed low color transferability, while gray colored Hanji paper made from mixing white and black pigments showed excellent color fastness. Meanwhile, the colored Hanji paper made with red pigments showed high transferability and poor color fastness. Hanji paper without any pigments also showed transferability and color fastness, but inferior to that produced with red pigments. Therefore, the study concludes by affirming that the mixed compositions, which consist of yellow, blue and black, with no red pigment but high whiteness and low chrome would be ideal on the machine-made Hanji paper for the long-term storage of public records.
