In this study, a mild steel (SS41) of the carbon steel, a spring steel (SUP-9) and stainless steel (SUS 304) of the special steel, etc, are adopted as the experimental materials and are weded by CO₂, (SS41, SUP-9), TIG (SUS 304), respectively. And the residual stress distribution and fracture behavior at the welded zone are examined according to annealing temperatures of four section involving as welded. As a consequence, the best annealing temperatures that the residual stress is removed enough and mechanical properties are very suitable are at 900℃ (SS41), 750℃ (SUP-9), 1100℃ (SUS 304), respectively.

This study propose a analysis method of the dynamic characteristics of axisymmetric revolution structure with arbitrary thickness and boundary conditions using the traingular finite element for thin shell and thick shell with various boundary conditions under 3-dimensional problem of the elastic theory. To verify the accuracy of this study, the natural frequencies of the beam which are obtained by this finite element method are compared with the exact solutions.
對稱 形 노치를 갖는 平板이 引張을 받을 때 일어나는 應力集中에 관한 光彈學的 硏究

The two dimensional experimental study was made of a statically loaded flat tension plate PSM-5 with symmetrical U and V-shaped notches in which the net width of the plate and the radius at the bottom of the notches were held constant while the depth and the angle of the notches were varied. The influences of the depth and angle of the notches on stress concentration factors were determined by the photoelastic method. The photoelastic results confirm Flynn and Roll's observation that the maximum stress concentration may occur in plates with notches of finite depth rather than with infinitely deep notches as is generally assumed. As to the effect of the notch angle, Fig.5 and 6 shows that for d/r=1.00 the angle has little effect up to 90°; for d/r=3.00 the angle has little effect up to 60°; for d/r=4.00 the angle has little effect up to 90°. In short, it was observed that for θ from 0° to 90°, the notch angle has very little effect.

The effects that working conditions and shape can influence on the thermal deformation, deriving the theoretical equations on the thermal deformation of working pieces and tools in the case of cutting the surface of working bars, were, theoretically investigated. The result obtained are as follows, 1. This study, derived the theoretical governing equations on the thermal, deformation of the working pieces and the tools at the given piece shape and condition. 2. These equations will be solved by the numerical analysis. 3. And the experimental study on the thermal deformation at the given condition will be studied later.
부등피치 밸브스프링의 고속 다이나모 테스트 結果에 따른 硏究

According to this investigation and the result of the test especially in designing and manufacturing a valve spring with the unequal pitches, we find that it must satisfy the following items. 1. The interval of pitches in the valve spring with unequal pitches should be designed within the allowable extent of the torsional stress and the boundary of the fatigue limit if high stress exerts upon it may be contracted. 2. When the solid height of spring is much higher then that of the maximum working condition the spring life is shortened because of occurring a phenomenon called as "flating" and when the valve spring moves at high speed, there is a possibility of doing harm to the other parts. 3. The results of heat resistance, i. e., it is calculated that we should adequately choose the tempering temperature by each of materials for stopping the occurrence of deformation in the condition of high temperature. 4. Besides the process which is indespensible to extend the region of the fatigue limit-Hot setting, shot-peering, etc. is a importance subject to study alter and the removal of internal stress after shot-peening must be treated not so as to exceed the temperature of 250℃.

This paper treats the vibration analysis of a simply supported rectangular plate stiffened with viscoelastic beams. The effect of viscoelastic beams on the vibration of the plate is analyzed by using Dirac delta function and the equation of motion can be expressed only one equation. The frequency equation is obtained by applying Laplace transformation. The effect of volumes, numbers and aspect ratios of beam on the frequency of the plate is analyzed.
주름판구조물의 강성계수 해석 및 최적형상 결정에 관한 연구

In this study, the bending and twisting stiffnesses of corrugated plate structure are analyzed by applying equivalent idea. And the optimum shape of corrugated plate structure is determinated in the stiffnesses. The results are examined by comparing with the existing results.
유한요소법을 이용한 종형 구조물의 비대칭 형상에 따른 동적거동에 관한 연구

High or low acoustic sound of the bell depends on the natural frequencies of the bell. These frequencies can be adjusted by increasing or reducing thickness of the wall and the rim of the bell. And the beat frequency can be calibrated by using the asymmetric effects such as numbers of Dangjwas or location of Eumkwan. In this study, the dynamic behaviors for different asymmetric shapes of the bell type structure were analyzed by the Finite Element Method. The method of improving the quality of the bell sound by adjusting the natural frequencies and by calibrating the beat frequency were suggested.
