The purpose of this study is to exploit artificial environment colors and to compare these colors with those of the Apartments living room in Beijing recently, which are composed of traditional and modern architecture elements in Beijing during almost three thousand years. In order to approach this purpose, we analyze photos about built environment colors of questionnaires, it shows traditional architectures colors mainly focus on warm color such as R, YR, Y, GY, above eighty percent colors focus on middle value and middle or low chroma. Modern architectures colors are mainly focus on GY, G, BG, above eighty five percent colors focus on middle value, low chroma. Not only warm color such as R, YR, Y, are used in traditional architectures, but also used in modern architectures, but which are middle or low value and middle or low chroma. The traditional architectures colors reflect gorgeous, personality and dynamic. Modern architectures colors reflect cities on modern basis, hard and serious. Comparing with APT reception room colors, APT reception room colors include refinement, gentle and quiet and modern.
